Es ist ein wundervoller Ort, wir kamen aus der Türkei und waren begeistert. Das Essen und der Service sind hervorragend.

Essen gut aber Service leider unterirdisch. Die Gerichte kommen nicht annähernd gleichzeitig, teilweise Essen vergessen und/oder vertauscht. Service super langsam und wenig aufmerksam, Bezahlen wurde zur Geduldsprobe. Leider passiert mir etwas in der Art nicht zum ersten Mal dort. Schade, denn das Essen ist eigentlich ganz gut... Preislich im höheren/gehobenen Segment, deswegen umso trauriger dass der Service so schlecht funktioniert :(

Alles passt. Das Essen geschmacklich super, riesige Auswahl, der Service super höflich in angenehm. Die Preise angemessen ! Muss dazu sagen dass wir mittags auch die einigen Gäste waren - daher kann ich nicht sagen wie der Service ist , wenn es voll ist. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

entgegen all der negativen Äußerungen ist mir rein gar nichts davon erfahren. Ganz im Gegenteil! Freundlicher Service , dezent zurückhaltender aber dennoch aufmerksamer Service und servieren die einen Dialog nicht stört. Das Essen ist lecker, ich kann den Mangosalat sehr empfehlen ! Gerne komme ich wieder als Gast, ganz gleich ob für einen Snack oder einen längeren Abend. Einzig könnten den Geräuschpegel dämmende, Schallschluckende Elemente an der Decke für eine ruhigere Unterhaltung sorgen, das wäre sehr angenehm da es teilweise etwas laut war durch die vielen Unterhaltungen. Die Bestuhlung und Sitzqualität ist sehr bequeme und läd zum verweilen ein.

Das Essen dauerte einfach 90 min! Um einen Kellner an den Tisch zu bekommen mussten wir immer wieder aufstehen und ihn holen. Der Kaffee war nach 25 mun immernoch nicht da. Auch wenn das Essen gut war, nicht der Rest keinen Spaß.

Wir waren schon häufiger hier. Das Essen ist gut. Leider hat sich der Service extrem verschlechtert. Essen werden vertauscht, Kommunikation mit Teilen der Angestellten ist weder in Englisch noch in Deutsch möglich. Das Essen wird auf den Tisch gestellt. Keine Info welche Essen was ist. Wartezeit extrem lang. Beim letzten Mal sind wir um 18:15 gekommen. Essen kam nach mehr als 2,5 Stunden. Sehr schade.

Und weil das jetzt schon mehrfach geschrieben wurde und scheinbar der Inhaber kein Interesse hat, das zu verbessern, gebe ich hier nur einen Stern für den Service und zwei insgesamt. Das Restaurant möchte ‚Fine Dining‘ sein. Der Service ist es auf keinen Fall. Wir saßen an einem Tisch. Auf diesem standen zwei leere Gläser und sonst nichts. Leider hat das im Service niemanden interessiert, sie sind permanent an uns vorbei gelaufen, ohne zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas wollen. Und wenn man sich als Gast gar nicht mehr unterhalten kann, weil man permanent schauen muss, dass man einen Kellner auf sich aufmerksam machen muss, ist das kein Fine Dining Anspruch. Man hat das Gefühl, die Bedienungen laufen mit Scheuklappen durch das Restaurant und schauen nicht, ob sich Gäste bemerkbar machen, oder etwas wollen. Was ist so schwer daran, wenn man an einen Tisch Essen gebracht hat, am Rückweg nochmal einen Blick durch das Restaurant zu werfen, ob ein Gast noch etwas will? Zuerst haben wir für den Nachtisch die junge Frau (vermutlich Hilfskellnerin) angesprochen. Sie stammelte nur in gebrochenem Deutsch etwas von ihrem Chef. Geholt hat sie ihn allerdings nicht. Als wir dann endlich eine Kellnerin auf uns aufmerksam machen und Nachtisch bestellen konnten (ca 30 Minuten später), kamen leider Espresso und die gebackene Bananen nicht gemeinsam. Bzw kam die gebackene Banane auch nach 45 Minuten noch nicht, so dass wir sie stornierten. Auf unsere Anmerkung bei zwei Kellnern (ein Mal Mann, ein Mal Frau), kam leider nicht mal ein kleines Wort der Entschuldigung. Daher bin ich gespannt, wie sich der Betreiber hier heraus redet, falls er auf die Rezension antwortet. So hat uns das Personal diesen eigentlich schönen Abend kaputt gemacht, da unaufmerksames Service Personal ein Grund ist, ein Restaurant nicht mehr zu besuchen. Vor allem, wenn es sich als ‚Fine Dining‘ bezeichnet, aber man in jedem Imbiss einen aufmerksameren Service hat Da hilft auch das beste Essen nichts und wir werden um dieses Restaurant deswegen erst mal einen Bogen machen und zu Banh Minh Mi gehen

Sehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis. Wir haben telefonisch bestellt und uns wurde eine Abholzeit genannt. Als wir zur vereinbarten Zeit im Restaurant ankamen, mussten wir trotz Anwesenheit und Rückfrage weiter warten. Insgesamt haben wir über 1,5 Stunden vergeblich auf unsere Bestellung gewartet. Nach dieser langen Wartezeit stellte sich heraus, dass unsere Bestellung angeblich nicht vorlag, obwohl der Anruf nachweislich erfolgt war. Statt einer Entschuldigung oder einer Lösung wurde dies vom Besitzer unfreundlich und abweisend kommentiert, und unser Anliegen wurde nicht weiter beachtet. Eine so lange Wartezeit in Kombination mit einem respektlosen Umgang ist für uns nicht akzeptabel. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht erneut besuchen und können es leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

I've been there three times now, and the food has always been excellent. I really like the atmosphere. Unfortunately, on two of those three visits, the service wasn't what I expect from a place like this. Yes, the restaurant was busy, but the team should be able to handle that. Our drinks were empty, and we only received more after asking for them. Our main course order wasn't taken until well after the appetizers. They seem to lack organization. We hope things will improve, and we'll still come back again 😊 Update: After several visits, the service unfortunately hasn't improved. From the wrong drink being brought to a 30-minute wait to place our drink and food order (the server's explanation: "We were still looking at the menu"). What a shame.

We always enjoy coming here; the sushi is delicious 🍣, but there are also many other dishes. The staff is very friendly, despite the challenges of finding friendly staff these days.

We wanted to treat ourselves to something special; the restaurant looks super classy and is supposed to be "fine dining." Prices were correspondingly high... Even higher than in Munich. Main courses start at €18 (vegan/vegetarian) and up. The red wine we ordered was much too warm and undrinkable (midsummer - apparently, it wasn't kept at room temperature). Crispy sweet potatoes turned out to be fries (they were delicious), and the peanut sauce tasted bland. The summer rolls came with the same sauce... The summer rolls themselves were truly the worst I've ever eaten. The salad was already black around the edges and simply stale. Absolutely unacceptable. They were also relatively "empty" and rolled so loosely that everything fell apart at the first bite. The main course was labeled as spicy. There was no taste of it. Good for those who find Asian cuisine sometimes too spicy. Otherwise, it was okay, but far too little for the price. We probably won't be coming back, which is a shame, because the location itself is top-notch. Service was friendly, but relatively slow.

Son's Restaurant in Gilching is a true gem for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine. The quality of the food is outstanding – from the fresh, perfectly prepared sushi rolls to the delicious hot dishes. The mango dessert with sticky rice is particularly recommended, as it's both visually appealing and tasty. The service is extremely attentive and friendly, and you feel completely at home. The prices are a bit on the high side, but they're absolutely justified, as both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation are top-notch. Definitely a new favorite – we'll be back!

The food is always excellent. There are also plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The staff is always super friendly and caters to every request. The strawberry iced tea is especially recommended!

There were 5 of us eating, it was very good, everything was beautifully presented. Everyone was happy with their food, whether it was sushi, duck or a pasta dish. If you order crispy here, you will get crispy!

Absolute disaster – never again! If I could give zero stars I would. This store is the epitome of incompetence and rudeness. The staff is so rude that you feel like a nuisance. The waiting times are a disgrace, and when it's finally your turn, you're treated like you're asking for something for free. The cleanliness? Doesn't exist here. The floor is sticky, the shelves are dusty, and the smell in the store is just disgusting. I seriously wonder if anyone ever cleans here. Conclusion: Save yourself time, money and nerves and avoid this store at all costs!

Very bad service. We were seated at 7:15 p.m. and received the menus. Until 8:00 p.m., 45 minutes later, no one came to take an order, not even for the drinks. Then we left again. It's a shame that the service here is so bad... The restaurant was completely full and only two people were serving, that can't work.

We visited this wonderful restaurant for a special occasion and absolutely loved it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a stylish, elegant ambience that immediately created a special atmosphere. The service was first class - attentive but unobtrusive, with a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. The menu offered an excellent selection of sophisticated dishes, but the highlight was undoubtedly the duck. Perfectly cooked, tender as butter and served with a harmonious sauce – a real treat for the palate! The quality ingredients, creative presentation and atmospheric ambience make this restaurant the ideal choice for special occasions. The high prices are absolutely justified, because here you get a culinary experience at the highest level. We'll definitely be back!

We love Vietnamese cuisine and were happy to finally have a good Vietnamese restaurant near us. Unfortunately, we are more and more disappointed with the service from one visit to the next. Drinks come relatively quickly, but then it takes ages for the food to arrive. Finally, we waited almost 2 hours for the main course. When we asked, we were repeatedly put off, but even for that I had to go to the counter. No one came to the table since the starter and we sat with our empty glasses for over an hour. We have no idea what happened! It's a shame, but then we have to continue our journey to other Vietnamese restaurants.

Saturday evening: Locally well attended, reserved for 4 people at 7:00 p.m. Ordering drinks was quick and appetizers were also delivered on time. But the main course took over an hour, without any information or asking if you wanted anything else... There were 8 ladies sitting at the next table who got NOTHING for 1.5 hours and then one after the other a meal each, without an explanation, etc… Unfortunately, the service does not match the rather higher prices, and the quality of the food does not meet expectations either. Our third attempt there, but unfortunately not perfect again...

Very centrally located, there are plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding area. The ambience is very nice and appears to be of high quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and as far as I can tell, everything is fresh. The meat tastes incredibly good and the soup is very close to perfect. Not cheap in terms of price but completely justified! Anytime again...

Nice Vietnamese restaurant in Gilching City. Food was okay and portions were okay too. Main courses relatively expensive in contrast to when you eat out in Munich. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the bill, even though we asked twice and there weren't many guests present. Service not really good, which is crucial for a good restaurant.

Super tasty dishes in a nice atmosphere! The dumplings and sushi were especially great! The service is also really very friendly. However, we had to wait quite a long time until someone came to take our order and also until the food came. In our opinion, the prices are also quite high and the portions are comparatively small. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste - everything was delicious!

2 stars Unfortunately my visit this time was not satisfactory. The food was not of the usual quality. My beef fillet for €28 was disappointing - the meat was wobbly and covered in lots of fatty rinds. This was barely noticeable in the dark sauce, which further spoiled the enjoyment. The service was friendly, but unfortunately not attentive enough. Despite low utilization, it took a long time for new orders to be accepted. In addition, the noise from the kitchen was quite disturbing, which gave the impression that the staff had more fun there than with the service.

The sushi was great. The service was very nice. The other food was OK. A curry with vegetables and once beef with vegetables. Unfortunately you had to look for the vegetables in both dishes and the seasoning was rather bland. Unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. For the prices I would have expected more flavor and vegetables. But Sushi Mega is fresh, delicious and recommended

Unfortunately I have to adjust my review after my second visit. The reason is the extremely weak service you are now experiencing, which can really impact your experience. The only waitress was completely overwhelmed in the well-filled restaurant. Has the shortage of service staff also struck here? In any case, we had to wait a very long time until our drink order was taken. So we ordered the food right away, which was probably a good decision, as otherwise we would probably have waited longer than we already did (> 1 hour). The overwhelmed wait staff is not interested in empty glasses. You have to clearly draw attention to yourself if you still have a wish. Twice we went directly to the counter, where two people were working without any apparent stress - would it perhaps be a good idea if the service at the tables could be reinforced by the people behind the counter? Unfortunately the service has deteriorated extremely. Inattentive, you wait forever for everything, whether it's a drink or food order or bill. First time there. There was only one waitress there that day, she was very friendly but since she was alone, everything took a long time. The food looks great and tastes very good, BUT: there was sugar sprinkled on the sweet potatoes?!?! Does this have to be real?! Can't you even make simple sweet potatoes without sugar?! The first impression when entering the Vietnamese restaurant is extremely positive. It appears to be of high quality due to the very well thought out interior design. I also found the background music to be well chosen, and the overall ambience is extremely positive. In addition, in the middle of the restaurant, the customer has the opportunity to watch some of the chefs preparing the sushi, which gives the whole thing an impression of high quality. To talk about the food, I would first like to say that the starters, as well as the sushi we tried so far, turned out to be praiseworthy, but now I would like to come to the actual criticism that makes me write this entry. The day before yesterday I was once again with my parents in the restaurant that the three of us had previously found praiseworthy. My father and I didn't order sushi for the first time, I had the noodle soup called Pho with tofu, and my father also ordered the curry with vegetables, tofu and rice. I was already aware in advance that the Vietnamese soup I ordered required a certain degree of attention when preparing it; I have read several times that larger restaurants usually cannot manage this. However, that's exactly why I'm wondering why you offer such a dish if you don't have enough time to prepare it. I pondered for a while about how I could express this better, but I have to stick with my first thought: “This soup tastes like water with flat rice noodles”. As mentioned, my father ordered the curry with rice and tofu as he is a vegetarian. Time passed, he praised the taste of this dish, but about 3/4 of the way through what he had eaten, something caught his eye: a piece of chicken! A piece of chicken in a vegetarian dish! I don't need to emphasize what a disgrace this is. I thought for a long time whether this was an exaggeration of language, but I am of the opinion that it cannot be justified in any way. To conclude, I would like to say that the owner of this restaurant would probably have been better off investing his money in professional chefs than thinking so intensively about the interior design of his business. Yes, the first impression is impressive, but this is a restaurant where I pay for good food and not for pretty decor (especially since I have to agree with a review I read, I also liked the light as too bright). Make up your own mind, but I won't go to this restaurant again!

We've eaten there several times since last year. First of all... The food tastes delicious and we are always on vacation when it comes to taste. But what happened in the last six months? The service took a serious hit. It all feels like it takes forever. Even if you reserve a table, you are treated like counterfeit money in the restaurant. The portions have also been drastically reduced. Top quality but unfortunately the quantity no longer matches the price. We will take a break first and hope that the quality improves again.

Chic restaurant, authentic Vietnamese/fusion and delicious

Our visit to this restaurant was a very positive experience. Anna/Tu Anh, the owner, served us in a very friendly, attentive, but always unobtrusive manner. The meals were tasty and reasonably priced. A revelation for me was the dessert with sesame ice cream.

It is our best restaurant in Gilching! Food (starter, main course or dessert - everything is just super delicious) Service and ambience are simply top. Highly recommended

We spontaneously went to Son's on Valentine's Day. Didn't make a reservation, only got a place on the condition that it would be ready after 1.5 hours. It wasn't a problem for us, we had our child (6) with us anyway and wanted to finish as quickly as possible. It took about 20 minutes before we could place the order. A starter, otherwise sushi. The appetizer arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately only this one - but at least our son's hunger could be satisfied somewhat. About 30 minutes later the first part of the sushi, again 15 minutes later the second part of the sushi. Of course it would have been nice to get it together. The sushi we ordered was also missing. After eating it took another 20 minutes until we finally managed to pay. Meanwhile, people who had reserved and were waiting to enter were piled up at the door. I don't even want to know how long they had to wait for everything in the end. It can happen that there is a huge rush and there are simply not enough staff for it, but then you can apologize afterwards, which never happened. On the other hand, it would have been better to warn people in advance and/or not let them in at all. Ultimately, it was clearly a disaster.

Highlight absolutely great food wonderful service

We were there for the first time. The ambience is nice, the food tastes very good, yes it costs a little more but the quality is right. Unfortunately the service is really bad, we had reserved. It took an eternity before we could order. This sort of thing really annoys me personally. I wanted my starter to go with the main course, but my request was not taken into account. When our drinks were empty we weren't asked, nobody came. Good service is simply super important. We probably won't go there again.

Nice restaurant in itself with a cozy interior. However, lights do not shine so favorably and are too bright for a cozy dinner. The service is totally bad. We came with a reservation and still had to wait for our table. OK. The cards were already on the table. It took quite a long time for someone to come to take the order. You could have at least asked for drinks. Unfortunately the selection of food was not that appealing and totally overpriced. In addition, the food was totally over salted. Since the meal was served, no one came to ask for drinks or dessert or even if everything was okay. I won't come back.

It was our first time there, the food tasted great and so did the ambience, but unfortunately that was it. Service disaster, we had to wait forever for the things to arrive and then they didn't even come together. Unfortunately this is not possible. Unfortunately, clearing the table is also a foreign concept here, although the service came by several times and saw it. Ok, there were only 2 people in service, unfortunately that's the case, but it still shouldn't be the case. We would be happy to give it a second chance

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Der Service ist absolute Katastrophe. Ich habe eine falsche Bestellung bekommen. Statt 259 einfach 295 und der Kellner meinte nur zu mir 259 gibt’s nicht. Aber erst als das Essen kam teilte er mir dies mit. Entgegenkommen beim Preis für seinen Fehler, Fehlanzeige. Gutes Essen, aber bei dem Service würde ich nie wieder kommen.

Very tasty, beautifully presented food. Top quality, especially the sushi. We waited some time for our orders, but the restaurant was full. The homemade iced teas taste good but, in my personal opinion, they are too sweet. The Lemongrass Caipirinha is also something special that Caipi lovers should definitely try. In general, it's not cheap here, although you're willing to pay a little more for the quality. I will definitely come back when I get the chance to enjoy the delicious food.

We went there for sushi and I have to say it was really good. However, we have been there more often now - and each time it took so long to get the food. So we're talking about 1:00 - 1:45 hours here. Unfortunately that's not possible - no matter how good the food is, waiting for over an hour every time is too much!

Eine tolle Speisekarte, sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und sehr schön angerichtet. Frische Zutaten und geschmacklich sehr gut.

Beste restauran in Gilching. Ohne frage. Service, küche, atmosphere, eintfach super.
