Couldn't go in because closed company, which was not announced

Our dinner today in the pizzeria and pilsner bar “Zum Kreuz” exceeded our expectations: the spaghetti with shrimps with tomatoes and garlic was aromatic and gave the dish a slight spiciness. The Pizza Chef was also excellent: crispy base and generously topped with fresh ingredients – a delight! The service was quick and attentive, so we were able to enjoy our meal after 15 minutes, even though a few other tables were occupied. The atmosphere is more functional. There are mainly large tables for six people, which is less suitable for couples or families of three. P.S. By the way, we paid in cash, which we do more and more often because we see it as an important contribution to self-determination in our time.

Great place to eat and the spaghet bolognaise was the best I’ve had in a long time

Good place to eat Flammkuchen and beer if you want traditional food. I recommend the one with gorgonzola and the veggie too. Be aware, you can only pay in cash!

We ordered pizza and pasta for dinner, everything was delicious. The boy who served us was very friendly and attentive. I recommend it! The place is very old, it would need a little renovation, but it is very good to eat.

We ordered some flambéed cakes and they were cold, very cold, it looked like they had forgotten to bring them, I would not return nor recommend it. FATAL.

I ordered a pizza with 5 ingredients and repeated these 5 ingredients again. Instead of crabs, the pizza was topped with capers. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he said they don't have any crab at all. However, other pizzas are offered with just that: crab. It was probably a mistake, he said. At least I got a discount and the waiter was really nice too. Unfortunately not quite as capable...

Delicious food, more than fair prices and great views from the terrace.

Waiter not very attentive and pleasant, they made a mistake in the order and on top of that they got angry because we did not want to take the two repeats that we had not ordered, just one. We will not return for sure. It has the wrong price at the entrance, when you pay €1 more for everything and they tell you that the menu outside is old.

We came here spontaneously on our vacation. The food was fantastic and lots of it. The price-performance ratio was perfect and the service and atmosphere were also very good. There is only one star deduction for the lack of the option to pay by card. After 4 years of Corona, in a time with little cash in your pocket (especially on vacation when going on excursions), this is unfortunately a bit of a downer. But otherwise very good.

We went here for lunch and would come here again at any time. We ordered pizza here with our children, which met our expectations and was delicious. Personally, I would like the pizza base to be a little crispier. When the weather was nice, we sat outside. The view of the water was nice, but the ambience could be improved somewhat if there were no cleaning equipment standing around on the wall of the house. There is nothing to complain about when it comes to service and the friendly staff. With two adults and two children, we had two beers, two apple spritzers and three pizzas. An additional empty plate was happily provided for the children. There was something sweet for the kids for free when they paid. Excellent! Together with a small tip €45.

Flawless. Super friendly service. The wines are good, the pastas and pizzas too. Perfect!

Top Restaurant/Pilsbar! Absolut Freundliches Personal! Essen ist sehr lecker und absolut vertretbare Preise! Salate sind sehr lecker aber auch die Pizza schmeckt Saftig gut. Sobald ich wieder im Unkreis bin werd ich wieder kommen! Weiter so 🙃

Pizza is good and good prices.Clean place but should maybe get someone more customer service experienced. Atmosphere is a bit weird. Cannot pay with card whichever is a big no for me.

Tried by chance with 3 children. The place is simple, the waiter very kind even with children. The meal was good, we tried the nuggets, fries, a pizza and a Turkish pizza and everything was delicious Bring liquid.

There are two waiters, the older one, a little more sparse in words, but the young man is very pleasant, we communicate in English and at all times he tries to understand each other, delicious food and to value since they served us at 3:00 p.m. that we would not have eaten nowhere else, since the schedules are different from those in Spain. They saved us from dying of hunger 😂 Payment in cash, to keep in mind if you want to go.

Wir waren heute Abend im Kreuz essen. Der Service war sehr gut, das Essen sehr schnell am Tisch und super lecker. Wir werden uns das merken und kommen wieder mal vorbei.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, bella posizione sulle rive del fiume,servizio veloce e molto cortese e Schnitzel con patate fritte da urlo. Per come si è mangiato bene si è speso poco. Bravi!

Eine der besten Spaghetti mit Garnelen die ich essen durfte und dass zu einem Preis/ Leistungs-Verhältniss dass man nicht oft findet. Wenn ihr hier seid setzt euch unbedingt auf die Terasse. Nur zu empfehlen.

Wir haben gestern wirklich toll in der Pizzeria Zum Kreuz gegessen. Die Pizza und die Nudelgerichte waren TOP. Wir haben im kleinen, voll besetzten Innenhof an der Kinzig gesessen, der einfach eingerichtet ist. Und genau das ist das urige Ambiente, was uns gefällt. Preis/Leistung ist TOP. Gerne wieder.

Essen war sehr gut und lecker, Frisch zubereitet. Personal freundlich und kompetent. Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Die Pizza Margherita war sehr schnell fertig und richtig lecker. Der Teig war hauchdünn, schön zart und gar nicht fettig. Preis-Leistung fand ich in Ordnung 👍 Außerdem durften wir uns mit unseren Hunden auf die Terasse setzen.

This place was excellent. I truly think I had the best spaghetti bolognese I’ve ever had! You do need euros and they don’t take cards.

Comimos para compartir una ensalada de mozarela y tomate super ligera y buena; de segundo macarrones a los 4 quesos (creo que son de los mejores que hemos comido nunca) y a la boloñesa (no es la típica salsa..es aún mejor)

Die Pizza war sehr gut. Preis Leistung auch sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist passend zum Fachwerkhaus.

Not a very warm welcome and zero atmosphere. Food was ok but very salty.

Schlicht, einfach und doch irgendwie gemütlich. Waren am Rosenmontag zu Gast, jede Menge los- Chef war allein, Personalpropleme- bisschen warten und Getränke kamen. Beim Essen warteten wir ca. 1 Std.,Koch war allein. Chef war sehr freundlich und ständig auf Achse. Dann kam das Essen, sowas von lecker... es entschuldigte alles!!! Dieses Lokal ist absolut empfehlenswert und sehr preiswert. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!!!

Siamo entrati e la signora ci ha salutato a fatica e ci ha indicato un tavolo con fare scocciato. Dopo 15 minuti di attesa, sebbene il locale fosse semi vuoto, nessuno è venuto a portarci i listini o a chiederci se volevamo da bere. Inoltre il locale non era assolutamente accogliente. Quindi, ci siamo alzati e siamo usciti nell'indifferenza dei gestori.

Estan aparcats al pàrquing d'AC vam anar a fer una birra i a menjar una pizza. Terrasseta molt bona al costat del riu. Les pizzes estan molt bé de preu. Les pizzes estan prou bones.

Aunque tardaron en atendernos porque solo había una persona atendiendo y el local estaba casi lleno, la comida estaba muy buena y con un precio adecuado. A tener en cuenta, carta con los ingredientes en alemán. Recomendable.

Lekkere pizza's gegeten. Bodem was lekker krokant. Je kunt hier alleen cash betalen, wat niet erg klantvriendelijk is, want veel mensen hebben weinig contact op zak.

Auf der Suche nach einem unkomplizierten und leckeren Essen sind wir an der Hauptstraße fündig geworden. Von außen unscheinbar, innen etwas zu hell. Sehr freundlicher Service und tolle frische Gerichte ( Salat und Pide) für einen absolut fairen Preis. Ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

What is going on here? These guys have a terrace next to the stream but do absolutely nothing with it. Hang some flowers on the wall, put some plants on the floor & put a cloth on the tables and I bet customers are tempted to enter the place when they pass alongside the street. While you are at it, encourage the waiter to at least appear to enjoy working there and service the guests. Ah well, so for for the Gordan Ramsey advice. The pizza’s were ok (had better but also worse).

Zeer lekkere pizza’s en pasta’s, met prachtig weer kunnen buiten eten aan het water. Vriendelijke bediening en niet duur, betalen met kaart onmogelijk.

If you like the thin traditional Italian Pizza, this is the place to go. They are really good. Naturally you can get too well made pasta, salats and even pork escalope - Schnitzel. The service is friendly and efficient.

Local abierto a cualquier hora, que en vacaciones se agradece. Tienen un poco de todo, pastas, pizzas, ensaladas y Schnitzel..., todo en cantidad generosa, a un precio y una calidad nórmales, sin más pretensiones, y un servicio correcto.

My wife and I came here twice because we enjoyed the food so much and it was great value. We had the schnitzel with side salad and fries, along with tortellini bolognese - both times. Both were delicious and generous sizes. Highly recommended.
