Pizzeria Trulli in Bochum

You can't reach anyone there by phone, so you have to be really lucky. Since we were there once spontaneously and got a place, we wanted to eat there again with the family on the occasion of a birthday. We then stopped by in person to reserve a table. On the day we made our reservation (our name and cell phone number were noted by an employee) we stood in front of a locked door. The pizzeria ruined our whole evening because they didn't think it was necessary to inform us, as reserved guests, that the restaurant would be closed. We came back in person two days later to address the problem. Unfortunately, no one was interested there, we were only told that it was completely closed due to someone's illness. It's sad that a pizzeria has to remain completely open if one person is unavailable. It also came across as if the employee wanted us to take pity on him. He didn't care at all that the whole evening (birthday) was ruined for us. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional and rude. We weren't even offered compensation or anything like that as a concession. In my opinion, this pizzeria is only for regular customers. They receive their food and a table immediately. Others have to wait 45 minutes for a pizza on site! The quality of the food is nothing special and the ambience and furnishings are getting old. I will not recommend this pizzeria but rather my personal negative experience with familiar parts. Never again!

Best shop 🫶 Price performance unbeatable

We went to our weekly Trulli evening again today. The food and service was great as always. But this year was the first time there was a mega Halloween decoration in the restaurant. You can notice the breath of fresh air that the owners' daughter brings in. Very lovingly designed. Trulli is really in good hands with the next generation. Thanks to the team for the lovely evenings 🤩

Pizzeria Trulli really impressed us! We were very lucky to get a table yesterday and were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff. The atmosphere was cozy and familiar, you immediately feel at home. The portions were large and incredibly tasty – and at surprisingly affordable prices. It's definitely a place we'd love to come back to. Absolutely recommended!

Small, fine, delicious, inexpensive, cult in Bochum

We had a large salad (€6) and baked tortellini (€5.50). Both were super tasty. The salad was incredibly balanced in terms of the ratio of leaf lettuce to the other ingredients (chicken, ham, cheese rolls, egg, etc.). The dressing was flavorful. We still had 2 0.33l Diet Cokes for 2 euros each, which is more than okay in terms of price. The service was very nice and accommodating. We won't be here the last time.

The first time I ordered I had to wait 1.5 hours for delivery. Also, the wrong pizza was delivered. Otherwise inexpensive and tasty. The delivery service was very friendly. The first impression counts. Ordered by phone today at 3:09 p.m. Unfortunately, delivery from 5:00 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. has not yet taken place. Unfortunately, the phone was always busy after 10 attempts. It's a shame that should have gone better.

For me one of the best pizzerias in Bochum. It is small but nice where service and the feel-good factor are very important. And the prices are unbeatable. Here you get something for your money.

An absolute disappointment. We had reserved for 6 people (2 of them children) and were NOT asked when making the reservation whether it was adults only. When we entered the restaurant we were completely unwelcome, the manager of the restaurant was not at all happy that we had children with us and complained loudly in Italian in front of the staff and us and only gave us insulted looks. Only stupid if you understand the language. Totally rude and weak. When we ate, we were told after 60 minutes that we needed the table straight away. This was also not mentioned when making the reservation and shows the poor quality of the service. We had never had a more unpleasant atmosphere in a restaurant than that day. So children are more than unwelcome and perhaps you should make this clear on the phone or, best of all, hang a large sign at the entrance: No children allowed. Worse loading, unfortunately only very busy because of the cheap prices.

Very tasty pizza, I've really never had better pizza. I'm serious. Service very good and friendly. Reservation recommended, the restaurant is very small, few tables available. Price-performance ratio is top.

We have been ordering there or taking food away for many years, but now they are completely resistant to advice when it comes to complaints about the food they take away and then they are rude. Last time even though I had been a customer for many years!

Ordered over 2 hours ago my order just hasn't arrived I've called 100 times no one answers how sad I've always been a regular customer at Trulli and that's what really disappointed me

I was able to convince myself of the good reviews. Despite the high volume, I didn't have to wait long, the pizza was delicious and I was greeted extremely politely and warmly. I will definitely come back again.

Yesterday evening we ordered 2 pizzas, herb butter and rolls by phone to be delivered to our home. It should take about 1 hour, no problem... Saturday evening. But it ended up being 2 hours and I called again after about an hour and a half and they say we're on the way. And then another half hour, that's cheeky. If the shop is full and our order is forgotten or lost, I understand that. They could have told me on the phone that we're hungry for pizza was past us by then and I don't even want to comment on the taste.

Good food, very cheap, but service: disaster. There was no drink for a guest who is not allowed to drink alcohol or carbon dioxide. Not even tap water when asked. As a replacement, the guest got a drink from a shop across the street and was then told to put it away because it wasn't allowed. Asked again about tap water and was again told no. We should have left already, but then we wouldn't have seen the other guest with a freshly stitched wound on his foot being snapped at and asked to take his leg from the empty chair next to him, where it was slightly propped up. That was the icing on the cake. I won't go here again. Addendum: The restaurant's response is just blatant and an outright lie. We asked twice for tap water and were told no. And just because no one has inspected the foot where the seam is doesn't mean there wasn't one.

Inconspicuous from the outside, but inside a small, fine pizzeria with charm awaits you. Food was great, both the pasta and the pizzas were very tasty. Salad crisp and fresh. Service very good, staff very friendly. Price-performance ratio unbelievable. We'll definitely be back.

The best pizzaria! You have to make a reservation by phone, but it's worth it. The salads are to die for and the pizza is delicious. All the employees are friendly and put you in a good mood. Driving by and picking up food is the insider tip!

I was finally lucky to get a table for 8 p.m. I was there with my wife at around 7:50 p.m. I reported to an employee that we had reserved a table for 8 p.m. He said it would take a few more minutes. I told him that we would wait outside the door as everything was very crowded and crowded. Went back in around 8 p.m. and saw a couple sitting down at the table. I went to the counter and asked what was going on, they came in and got a table straight away. Then the lady behind the counter said that no one had seen us. Instead of being given the table, we were put off to another table. Unfortunately nothing happened either. After asking again how long it would take, the lady behind the counter told me: 2 minutes. After another 10 minutes a gentleman came to us and asked if we had reserved. I told him the whole story and didn't get a real answer. So that I then told him that it was a shame, not even an apology. Then I told him we were going. We then went to L'Osteria and had a very good meal there. It's a real shame, since I heard so many good things about the food being so good, I wanted to try it, but unfortunately that didn't happen and I couldn't rate the food either. It's a shame that you treat your guests like that. Whether we will give the restaurant a second chance is still up in the air. I really liked the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the service was so unfriendly and presumptuous that we couldn't even try the pizza. Children are not welcome guests. First and last time.

We were always happy to be there because it was delicious every time, but on the last visit we had reserved a table for 10 people for 3 weeks later (for a birthday party) 20 hours before the reservation in question we were called (the boss herself on the phone) and told us that we couldn't get a table because they supposedly wouldn't open until later on that day. There wasn't even a "sorry" or any other kind of apology Good service is different Out of pure curiosity, I asked a friend to stop by at that time and they were open So I can't recommend this place for families celebrating Now they have a few dozen fewer customers

In my opinion the best Italian in Bochum. Small, honest and delicious. I have been a customer since 2010 and am thrilled. The Calzone Trulli pizza is recommended. My absolute favorite pizza. Furthermore, the prices feel like they did 10 years ago. The customer is king and people still enjoy eating out at Trulli. Here’s to the next 20 years💪🏻

We ended up there by chance... a wonderful pizzeria. We love it and always enjoy coming there. The food is delicious, at absolutely great prices. The service is great. It's just that it's always so full that without a reservation you have little chance of eating on site. But if you know that, you can prepare for it and make a reservation in advance or take food with you. It's definitely worth it!

From the outside the pizzeria isn't that inviting at first, but as soon as you walk in you'll be blown away. The guest room is lovingly modeled on a small Italian alley. The service is very warm and familiar and you immediately start a conversation. Rarely have I experienced such a beautiful atmosphere and such great service. However, the kitchen wasn't that convincing. The pizzas and pasta tend to be in the upper middle class. The pizzas are very greasy due to a lot of cheese and the pasta sauces are very basic and not very seasoned. Nevertheless, basically no bad dishes and, especially for the price, an absolute price-performance winner.

I wanted to have something to eat here in the afternoon with my 5 year old daughter two weeks ago. There were three tables free, but shortly after we came in the waiter just made a dismissive gesture and said, "Nothing free!". Totally unfriendly and disrespectful. I can't say whether the food tastes good.

Rarely in an Italian restaurant (I've never experienced it before) you get the feeling that children aren't really welcome. In addition, all tables are always reserved. You can get the impression that you're doing it this way on purpose in order to choose your guests (that's my feeling). The restaurant opens at 1 p.m., we were there at 1:10 p.m., around 30% of the tables were occupied (of course we didn't get a seat, we had a 7 year old child with us) after a good 20 minutes we left the restaurant with our takeaways -Pizzas left, no other guests sat down at a table. While waiting, the child just wanted to look at the atmosphere and stood in the middle of the bar, not bothering anyone, chatting to them or touching anything. I was immediately instructed to take the child away from there. Unfortunately it's not typically Italian (okay, I've had this experience before) if you're familiar with the waiting area, you can certainly understand that it's very cramped for a child between about 5 adults to wait here. The food tastes good, but I would rather pay a few euros more and feel welcome as a guest. I will definitely not visit this pizzeria again

It was a mistake to eat there ;-).....I've never been to a better Italian restaurant, the boss and the staff are very friendly.....the quality of the pizzas and pasta dishes is phenomenal. We ordered two extra pizzas for the hotel room later. Thank you for the enjoyment.

Such a cozy little Italian restaurant! I recommend the tuna salad and the pizza with spinach, salmon and garlic... with a glass of wine and finally a Ramazzotti, simply perfect! Be sure to reserve in advance as the number of tables is very limited! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Waited 2 hours for the pre-ordered food and no one came. No longer reachable by phone either. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Service isn't that, even if it's supposed to be so great. Then you are threatened that you will no longer receive deliveries.

We are in Tuscany every year. And yes, you come here and enter little Italy. The food is delicious and the pizza tastes wonderful.

The store used to be good. You can now call 100-150 times until someone answers. We have also been waiting for the food for over 2.5 hours, they said 1 hour. It's nice when the food tastes good and is cheap, but the service is so terrible. I grew up with Trulli, WE KNOW IT DIFFERENTLY!

We can absolutely recommend Pizzeria Trulli. The pizzas and salads are very tasty and the prices are quite cheap compared to other pizzerias. The service and ambience also make it fun to eat there. When it comes to delivery or ordering on site, you only have to wait a few minutes, as word gets around about good stores and a lot of them order there.

It's nice that most customers are enthusiastic about the taste, but the service (accessibility and delivery situation) is an absolute disaster. It was said that delivery would take a good hour. I have no problem waiting 90 minutes, it can always take a little longer. But more than 2 3/4 hours is really a joke. It's nice when a store is doing so well these days and has a lot to do. But either I say on the phone that delivery isn't possible that quickly (then you just pick it up yourself or order it somewhere else) or you say straight away that you don't have capacity that day. Unfortunately we cannot be reached by telephone. Either permanently busy or if you have the dial tone, no one answers the phone. But unfortunately it doesn't work that way. We will never order or eat here again. There are too many good alternatives for that. You can still wait comparatively well yourself, but it is very difficult to explain this to the children. When asked, a price reduction from €21 to €20 was offered, another slap in the face and unacceptable. Apparently people would rather throw the pizzas away instead of offering a sign or a real apology. Sad and unfortunate!

It's just a shame and unbelievably disgraceful!!!! First of all, I would like to mention that we have eaten regularly in this restaurant for several years and have already celebrated a few birthdays there. We were always satisfied, the price-performance ratio and the quality of the food were always good, the staff were mostly friendly, even if they had been a bit irritable and stressed at times recently. A week ago I had dinner there and when I paid I reserved a table for my father's 85th birthday at the end of May. I was supposed to write all the information down on a piece of paper because the boss said she didn't have time right now. The daughter accepted the note. I had already reserved tables in one way or another in the past and it worked out well. This evening I received a call from the pizzeria telling me that the reservation was not being made and that I had to be canceled. Apparently I would never have been accepted and the note would mean nothing. They didn't know why the cancellation took another week. Here it is reasonable to assume that better-known friends or family are given preferential treatment or that the Trulli family does not care at all that reservations are kept or that all customers are treated equally. I'm very sorry for the 85th birthday, but this store has lost me, my family and many of my friends as guests forever!!!

Kleine, von außen sehr unscheinbare Pizzeria. Auf den ersten Eindruck nicht so einladend. Drinnen eher klein mit wenig Tischen. Einrichtung sehr einfach, Die Speisekarte besteht aus einem eingeschweißten Blatt. Bedienung sehr freundlich, gute leckere italienische Küche zu unglaublich fairen Preisen !!!! Familienbetrieb seit 30 Jahren, im Lokal scheint sich in der Zeit nichts verändert zu haben 😀 Wer kein Wert auf Schnickschnack legt und einfach nur gut Essen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.
