The reservation was taken by a very friendly lady. The ambiance is very nice, the service super friendly, and that goes for everyone who works there; it truly deserves five stars. The wine was delicious and well chilled (white wine). The antipasti starter was also exemplary. It had everything it should. And of course, there were rolls, aioli, and olives. Up to that point, definitely five stars. Unfortunately, it failed, at least with my main course. I think that's a real shame, because the rest was so great. In an Italian restaurant, fries shouldn't be served as a side dish. Only perhaps upon request. This is unfortunately a bit too German, but not the deciding factor. I had a Saltimbocca Pepe Verde and discovered that the sauce wasn't homemade. Since I'm a passionate cook myself, I was very disappointed, and I think that's a real shame. Dear team at la Ruota, I think you can do better, so we'll be happy to come back. Otherwise, unfortunately, not.

The best pizzeria in Düsseldorf. I've been ordering there since 1993, and the food is amazing. A brand new feature is that you can order extra garlic or spicy (in a bowl), which you can't find anywhere else. If you don't order there, it's your own fault. The food is also really good there, and everyone is very friendly and nice.

We were there on Sunday, based on a recommendation from gutscheinbuch.de – very friendly service and top-quality food. The pizzas were perfectly topped (tip: Paesana), and the atmosphere was lovely and homey. Kudos to the chef, who also works in the kitchen himself :-)

For us, it's the best pizza in Düsseldorf, and the stuffed pizza rolls are especially delicious! The other dishes are, of course, just as good. An old school pizzeria in a positive sense! The traditional pizza craft is still alive here - without botch and fancy. A visit to the site is particularly recommended. Drinks (e.g. Limoncello Spritz) are also mixed properly.

We went to Pizzeria La Ruota today and absolutely loved it! The service is super friendly, the food is consistently delicious and the restaurant is very nicely decorated. The Vespa in the entrance area creates the perfect Italian feeling and our absolute highlight was the pistachio tiramisu. I can only recommend a visit and will definitely come back soon.

Prices are reasonable with discounts! Say €5.75 for a Margherita. Otherwise €11.50 which is way over the top. The food was good but nothing special, and I would definitely say that it tasted like any other store. It's nice that the service is top, bread rolls are included on the house and the ambience is great!

Anyone who visits this restaurant for the first time will be surprised by the family atmosphere. On our first visit it was like we had been there a million times! If the boss has time, he welcomes the guests - otherwise he conjures up the best dishes! The steaks are highly recommended - they are actually tender as butter. I have no idea how he manages that... But fish or pasta dishes are also like in Italy. The pizza offerings leave nothing to be desired. Not to forget the service: super attentive without being intrusive. “Our” trusted Italian for a long time! Try it out and you definitely won't be disappointed!

Best pizza in all of Gerresheim.

Great ambience, nice service, which unfortunately seems overwhelmed when the restaurant gets full. The food is great. Unfortunately, prices are constantly rising. The delicious bruschetta now only consists of two slices and has increased in price. We were there on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation, we got a small table that was also set up. Many seats were unoccupied during our stay. The delicious Lugana was only available in a glass and not as half a liter as before. This makes it more expensive. Overall, recommended as long as it's not full and if the prices don't bother you.

We were in this very warmly run restaurant for the first time because of the desired voucher. We had made a reservation online on the website for 6:30 p.m. on the same day, but unfortunately we overlooked the fact that we had to wait for confirmation. We thought that it was confirmed with the reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant the reservation had not been entered but the very friendly waitresses were able to provide us with a table for two despite it being fully booked. That really scored points, the taste of the food was also great and the portions were absolutely sufficient (we even took some with us). So we were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.
