The service left much to be desired; there weren't many people there, but unfortunately, the service wasn't good. It's a shame, it used to be different.

Five stars deserved. Good food, excellent advice. Friendly and energetic service. The wait time was acceptable, as everything was freshly prepared. The salad was crisp and had a good homemade dressing. The pizza was fantastic! Update 2025: Unfortunately, only three stars now. Very poor service. Not clean. A real shame. The staff couldn't get through to the two tables in the aisles.

This pizzeria is really terrible... I don't know why this place has so many good reviews. The pizza tastes like frozen pizza and was oversalted. Where are the herbs on the pizza?!?! Basil?!? The product doesn't live up to the price. The service was okay.

I bought a Margherita pizza and was horrified. It was baked in a baking sheet and rolled out with a pinewood cutter – resulting in a complete lack of crust. The sauce was extremely oversalted, and there was no trace of basil. Overall, a complete disappointment.

It's a shame, but the previous reviews paint a false picture. The pizza was unfortunately dry, and looked and tasted like a pimped-up frozen pizza. The pasta was devoid of any seasoning other than salt. It was possible to make a reservation as a group. Pre-ordering is a good idea to avoid waiting times. It went really smoothly, too. In my opinion, the prices aren't reasonable for such subpar quality. And charging a group that generates a lot of revenue €2 for a broken glass is an absolute disgrace...especially since it happened to a child. It's a shame. The ambiance could have been better.

The quality of the food has become very poor. Guests' plates are cleared away even though other guests at the table are still eating. You no longer feel welcome as a guest here!

We were guests for the second time on our holiday and once again we enjoyed it very much. The tomato soup with fresh pizza bread is highly recommended. The pizzas themselves are hot and delicious. Service quick and friendly. You're welcome to come back if you're nearby.

Were here for the second time and only because it was so great the first time. Really recommended and a little insider tip. The offering is limited but the food that is available is super tasty. Quality and taste are right. Staff is also super friendly. The baked sheep's cheese as a starter is highly recommended, as is the gyro pizza.

I haven't eaten such delicious pizza in a long time. We became aware of the Roma in Gersfeld by chance after a visit to the Wasserkuppe. You could say: a real insider tip for pizza fans. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The pizza tastes a bit sour because the ingredients are not fresh but come from a jar or can! The dough is disappointing because it is most likely a ready-made dough! I find it sad when the pizza maker doesn't make the dough himself and expects something like this dough from the customers. The staff was really very friendly and quick. Unfortunately we won't be going there anymore!

The pizza was extremely salty, the pasta was not fresh and boring. And we had to wait a very long time for our food. In addition, we had to wait a long time before we could pay.

We are French traveling, access for the disabled is possible even in a wheelchair, the welcome is very pleasant and we were even able to exchange a few words with a waitress in French 🙂. The food is very good, we ate well. I highly recommend this address.

We had a very delicious meal there twice during our holiday week. The Rhön mud pizza is something different and highly recommended. Gladly again. The only shame is that reservations cannot be made outside.

It's a very nice restaurant, especially inside, since we had dogs with us we had to wait until something was available outside. Staff is super friendly, Unfortunately we had to wait a bit because it was busy, but that wasn't a problem. Food and drinks are completely fine We had 3 different pizzas and all 3 were tasty. There was a lot of ham and cheese on top, but you can argue about the canned mushrooms At home I rarely use fresh ones for pizza.... Price performance ratio is right... For around 10 euros a pizza you can't complain in 2024. .

The place is also quite nice especially clean. The pizza could have been a little better, let's just say the crust was a little tough. The service as if to say, I waited an hour and 10 minutes for a pizza.

Pizza has something from Dr. Oetker, for the high price you can also expect fresh mushrooms and mozzarella, neither Italian nor tasty, service was great, even if almost an hour passed until the food came. Perhaps more than one person should be alone on a holiday!! Serving everyone, making drinks, collecting cash, cleaning up, I was very sorry.

Pizza with canned mushrooms, cheap salami and salad with onion dressing. If you want to eat pizza with a German twist, you've come to the right place. We remember Italian cuisine differently. Pizza bread, as advertised on the menu, is only available upon request from the staff... Repeat, no thanks!

It couldn't be better. And it's been that way for many years. Today alone the wild garlic tagliatelle with shrimps and the spinach pizza 😋. The boss himself is in the kitchen swinging the pans, the waitresses have fun at work and everything is affordable. Parking spaces around the corner. When the weather is nice, outside on the terrace and all that in the middle of Gersfeld/Rhön.

Wow! WOW! WOOOW! After several recommendations, we took advantage of our free evening and went out to eat here and wow! The lady who served us was on her toes and very friendly. The food can hardly be described in words. The wild garlic cream, perfectly matched to everything. Not too much wild garlic, but still a super intense taste. The sheep's cheese...amazing. Everything fit perfectly. And the pizzas, crispy, great toppings, not overloaded. Great! Absolutely great! I came here based on a recommendation and will continue to pass on recommendations. You are doing everything right! :)

If you would like to eat a pizza, definitely this is NOT the right place!

Exorbitant price for the Roma salad!! A few lettuce leaves, about half a tomato, about half an egg, some sauce and a few other ingredients. For this 11.60 euros. Material value approx. Euro 1.50! Pizza doesn't taste good! Overall I was extremely disappointed! Never again! You should avoid innkeepers with outrageous prices! Here the customer is considered stupid!

This was the worst pizza and by far the most expensive salad I have ever eaten and at an exorbitant price. Never again and not recommended.

Stopped in spontaneously, everything was full. We were allowed to sit at the counter and then got a table when it became available. Wir waren am Sonnabend mit 13 Personen zum Abendessen in der Pizzeria. Obwohl viele Gäste anwesend waren, war es nicht laut. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und das Essen schmeckte hervorragend.Wir hatten 11 verschiedene Speisen, mußten aber nicht übermäßig lange warten. Sogar Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Danke Lukas für die sehr freundliche Bedienung. Du hast einen grpßen Anteil daran, daß wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Sencillamente delicioso! Muy buena atención y la relación precio calidad es buena

Ich gehe hier seit zwei Jahren hin. Heute musste ich fast 60 Minuten auf eine dann verbrannte Pizza warten. Und dann wird mir die Pizza immer wieder angeboten. Obwohl ich die wirklich nicht essen wollte. Wahnsinn. Der junge Mann im Service hat sehr freundlich reagiert. Schade bin sonst echt gerne hingegangen.

Die Pizzeria Roma hat uns positiv überrascht, es gab mehr Gerichte als erwartet und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Leider war zu wenig Personal anwesend wodurch wir recht lange warten mussten. Aufmerksam fanden wir, das unserem Hund den wir dabei hatten ungefragt eine Schüssel Wasser gebracht wurde.

Heerlijk gegeten maar helaas viel onze jongste in slaap dus eerder weg gegaan. De overgebleven pizza’s netjes voor ons ingepakt.

Die Pizza war wirklich einmalig!

Würde ich hier wohnen, wäre das sicher nicht mein Lieblingsitaliener. Hatte eine Pizza Rucola. Die war ganz ok, aber kein Highlight. Meine Frau und die Kinder hatten verschiedene Nudelgerichte, die eines gemeinsam hatten: Die Nudeln waren zu weich. Mein Espresso zum Abschluss war zu kalt.

Unser erstes Mal Pizzeria Roma und was soll ich sagen? Es war genial. Da hat alles gestimmt. Der Salat vorweg war klasse, die Pizzen (Mexican Chicken und Hawaii) superlecker. Tolle Location und sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Ich bin froh, dass der Urlaub noch nicht vorbei ist und wir noch zweimal hin können. Wir haben nämlich gleich vor Ort wieder reserviert, was auf jedem Fall empfehlenswert ist. Was ich sehr positiv empfand war, dass wir gefragt wurden, ob unser Tisch ab 20:30 Uhr vergeben werden darf. Da wir schon um 18:00 Uhr dort waren, war das für uns kein Problem, da wir locker vorher (ohne zu hetzen) fertig waren und nicht vor hatten, den ganzen Abend dort zu verbringen. Die Entscheidung lag aber bei uns. So geht das.

Sehr schönes Restaurant essen schmeckt sehr lecker und die Pizza ist super dort. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Probiert unbedingt die Rhönschlammpizza dort
