A wonderful, family-run beer garden with friendly service and the tastiest chicken for miles around. Inside, the beautiful decor is reminiscent of great mountain huts in Austria or the Allgäu region. The value for money is also excellent.

I've eaten there several times now and look forward to it every time. The garlic chicken, or rather any of the roast chickens, tastes incredibly good. Not too salty, very crispy, and the meat not too dry. The beer garden is very cozy, and the service is very attentive. I highly recommend it, but you should plan ahead, as it gets very busy, especially on weekends.

The service was very attentive – drinks and salads arrived very quickly. According to the menu, the chicken dishes are only prepared fresh after ordering. However, the wait was surprisingly short. The portions were filling and very tasty. We'll be happy to come back!

Hühner Paula is one of those places that doesn't have everything on the menu. But what they do have is really good. The chicken was the BEST I've ever eaten. Even the fries were better than anything I've been served in months. The prices might seem high to some, but they're absolutely reasonable for this quality. Friendly service, really quick and fast, without being hectic. The food took a while to arrive, of course, because it was very busy. But it still arrived quickly. Bottom line: Great!!!

Parking is right in front of the door; you just have to cross the street. Very nice and friendly staff 👍, and there's also outdoor seating with parasols 👍. I had half a broiler, which was really good. Unfortunately, it was a bit too small for the price; it could have been bigger! And there were just too many fries on the plate. It would also have been nice if they had served a smaller plate for the bones! I also reordered the plate, which was served immediately; great 👍. The restrooms were fine. It's a good idea to reserve a table. I'd be happy to come back.

Hühner Paula has the potential to become a cult restaurant! Everything is just right here: even when the place is full, you'll receive friendly and prompt service, and you'll rarely have to wait longer than half an hour for your food. On our first visit, we were absolutely blown away by the rustic, tasteful decor of the restaurant, and the beer garden also has a hearty atmosphere. We're thrilled! The chicken gyro is amazing!

Yes, the food is delicious and the service is friendly. All good. But I wouldn't drive over 100km for that restaurant again. The hype is bigger than I expected.

Chicken Paula is probably primarily known for its chicken. Unfortunately, the anticipation was somewhat dampened. Firstly, all the chicken is deep-fried, which means a long wait, and with the fries, it's quite greasy. When grilled, the fat drips from the top row onto the ones below – that's not the case here. The skin is crispy, but the meat remains flavorless. My wife had a schnitzel, which wasn't pounded, which is sad.

Delicious food, very friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. There's a lovely playground with a stream right across the street.

Yes, the garlic chicken was juicy, but somehow everything was too fatty for me. The bread was baked hard, and the smell and taste of the skin on the ham reminded me of canned French fry seasoning. The service was great, but we were rather rushed.

I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately, I had to witness the kitchen assistant first holding my bread in my hand and then placing it on my plate. 🙈 I left it on my plate, and when I spoke to the server, I received no apology or consideration. Too bad! I should speak to them right away next time... but I won't be returning to this restaurant!!! 😞 The food was standard, nothing special in the mass-produced feel.

I only have childhood memories of this restaurant. It's obviously changed a lot over the years. A very beautiful and cozy place. Very friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious! We had garlic bread with tzatziki for starters. Simply divine! For the main course, we had chicken, of course. My husband had garlic chicken and I had regular chicken. Both were crispy, juicy, and delicious!!! We'll be back!

The food is really good, no problems there. Unfortunately, a lot of it is ruined by the company's own culture. The waiters convey that the company is sales-oriented rather than customer-focused, which affects the friendliness, professionalism, and ambiance. It's a real shame that they're getting in their own way like this.

Extremely delicious food, a great, friendly team. The prices aren't cheap. But good food can and should cost a bit. If we're ever in the area and the cash register allows it, it's definitely a welcome stop. Recommendation: Garlic chicken!

Highly recommended! We've been there several times and we're always happy to come back. The food is incredibly delicious, especially the garlic chicken, which you won't find anywhere else. The service is very friendly. The atmosphere is super nice. There's a small water feature outside where the kids can play. It's beautifully done. Since it's always busy, it's advisable to make a reservation in advance.

The tastiest chicken I've had in ages. We ordered to-go and had to wait for it to be cooked, as everything is freshly prepared. The seasoning was fantastic, and the garlic version was even better. 😋 😋 😋

I haven't had such a delicious half garlic chicken in a long time. The garlic bread was also amazing. I'm not allowed to talk to anyone tomorrow. Grin. The service was super friendly. It was a bit warm inside. Make sure you make a reservation. All in all, delicious, delicious, delicious.

Really long wait time for the food . Waiters were almost not available to order a second drink.

We ordered food to pick up again today - unfortunately again with disappointment. Five dishes were ordered, each with fries, but only about 2-3 portions were given. There was only half a slice of garlic bread (ordered twice) in the bag, and we only received two portions of tzatziki (ordered three times). Unfortunately, we couldn't check the order exactly on site due to the large crowd, as new guests were already waiting for our table. In the end, neither the portions nor the price paid were right. Unfortunately, it's not the first time that we've made mistakes when picking up - so far there have been deviations every time. When we eat locally, we are always very satisfied - both with the quality and with the quantity. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the restaurant for take-away orders and will refrain from doing so in the future.

After a long time we went out for chicken again. Service and ambience were good as always! Unfortunately, the relationship between price and performance when it comes to food is no longer right. The chicken was okay but not exceptional - I expected a little more for the price. Paula loses her magic for me! Too bad!!!

The garlic legs are delicious, I had garlic bread and a small salad, it was also delicious. The kids had fries with chicken nuggets and weren't too impressed. According to them, the chicken schnitzel wasn't particularly special either (frozen product?). The tastes are just different or you just eat what they are known for, that's all I'm saying. I'll be back! The dog was allowed in!

Als Gruppe angemeldet und leider etwas zu spät gekommen (wurde telefonisch angemeldet), war die Begrüßung sehr flapsig („an Pünktlichkeit müssen wir wohl noch etwas arbeiten“). Das Essen war wie immer, aber die Preise wurden mal wieder erhöht (wie alle drei bis 5 Monate) Nachdem wir als Gruppe ca. 20 Schnäpse hatten und ein mehr wie großzügiges Trinkgeld gegeben haben (über 30€!!!) hat der Kellner den Betrag von sich aus nochmal „aufgerundet“. Der Räuberteller für die Kinder stand auf der Rechnung ( hätten einfach den Teller vom Knoblauchbrot behalten können… eigene Dummheit). Fazit: Trotz schönem Biergarten und nettem Ambiente: Die Hähnchenpaula übertreibt es leider und bekommt anscheinend den Hals nicht voll… Die ständigen Preiserhöhungen und der unfreundliche Kellner machen keinen Spaß. Da esse ich in Zukunft mein Hähnchen lieber z.B in Bimbach ;-) Enrico ist super nett, aber darf nur Getränke bringen ( hoffentlich bekommt er wenigsten was vom Trinkgeld ab) Und die Bediendamen geben auch ihr bestes.

Unfreundliche Bedingung mit sexistischen Sprüchen, aufdringliche Nachfrage nach Trinkgeld. Getränke werden einem fast auf den Tisch gekippt. Ein kleiner Schluck Leitungswasser für ein Baby wird auf die Rechnung gesetzt. Hinweise auf die Qualität des Essens werden zurückgewiesen.

Chicken Paula Sparbrod is probably a household name for many and if you haven't been there yet you should definitely stop by. Garlic chicken with fries is simply brilliant. Absolute recommendation after a tour in the Rhön.

The chicken was really great, really tender meat and nice crispy skin on the outside. But the whole thing has a real garlic flavor. The creamy garlic soup is recommended. It's definitely worth making a reservation

I had dinner here with my family today and thought I would have a classic portion of chicken pieces. Food was good, can't complain. I also have to say that the ambience was very nice. Prices for the food are okay, so you can't complain, but the drinks were very sporty. I first had to think about whether I even wanted to drink anything. Then I decided to order a Fanta. The waiting time was also a bit long and I didn't have the impression that it was very busy at the time. Otherwise I can't complain and can recommend it if you're hungry for chicken.🍷

Today we visited the “Hühnchen Paula” restaurant. Was recommended to us and did everything that was promised to us!!! Ambience rustic but very well maintained. Service 1a and very friendly. The drinks were delivered to us very quickly even though the restaurant was full... the food was amazing! The portion was sufficient and it tasted very good. Chicken Paula is simply world class. Knobi chicken with stinky bread is the number 1 recommendation. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and that “subtle garlic note” rounds off the culinary delight! The restaurant is very comfortably furnished. The service was super friendly, very attentive and super fast. I'm happy to take over an hour's journey there. If you look at the license plates in the parking lot, I'm not the only one. Chicken Paula is fully recommended. 👍🏻

The food tasted good and looked good, but the service and the waiting times (which were 45 minutes for a large salad) were very, very bad. If you want to eat here you have to expect at least 2 hours of sitting time
