The starter salad and bruschetta were fantastic, and the pizzas were also very tasty and well-topped. We'd gladly go back.

Not nice, not cordial, not kind, could really do better with 4 waiters in the dining room, it lacks professionalism! On the other hand, very happy with the dishes!!!

Very friendly service, very cozy interior, the pizzas are delicious, and the pasta dishes are highly recommended. We'll be back.

On the plus side, we were able to get a table for a limited time in the evening. Unfortunately, the pizzas (calzone and tonno) were only below average in terms of taste and dry texture.

The Pinsa Parmigiana is highly recommended – super juicy and delicious. My family was also very satisfied with the pizza, the lasagna, and the spaghetti carbonara (Italian style!). The staff is very friendly and authentically Italian. :-)

Super friendly and dedicated service team. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, they did everything they could to ensure we were still able to get a table. Super friendly with children, very accommodating. They also made it a given that we were allowed to bring our dog. And—not to be overlooked—the food was delicious. And we didn't have to wait long for it either.

We came here spontaneously today without a reservation. We got a table and had a very friendly server who loved children. The drinks and food came to our table very quickly. The portions were generous and the quality was excellent. I'd be happy to come back.

A comfortably furnished restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. My five-year-old son, "Pauolo" (actually Paul), was especially fond of Marcello. Since then, he's said he's his buddy now. The pizzas are excellent, as you'd expect, with a dark crust and piping hot. Only on our third visit was the children's schnitzel cooked a bit too dark, but it wasn't a big deal. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and send my best regards to Marcello from Pauoloooo :)

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. And it turned out to be a stroke of luck. Very friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and excellent Italian cuisine. The big shock came when the bill arrived. We had expected €20-30 more. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.

The food was good, no doubt about it, but the service was disgusting, it felt as if the person didn’t want to be in the establishment!

It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but it scores highly with its very friendly service and incredibly delicious food! The kids even got a crash course in Italian! A fantastic evening!

The food itself tasted good, even though some of our pizzas had really large, blackened spots...I mean, REALLY BIG spots...And my pineapple wasn't distributed well, the onions on the other pizza were all in one big pile...I don't know...Even though it was almost closing time...I still expect it not to be...like that... But the service was...ninja, I'd say...horrible...We come in, and they look at us like, what do you want here? I say yes, we'd like to eat, he brings us to the table without a word, and leaves without a word. That makes me feel uncomfortable...I ordered mango juice, I got mango spritzer...but I didn't say anything because I felt so uncomfortable and he seemed annoyed...I really didn't feel like having a discussion or anything, so I just accepted it...

The salad had a very sweet dressing that didn't go with it at all.

Great place with a super friendly Sicilian owner. He spoke Italian with me and German with the rest of my family. Authentic food, nice setting, very central. Reasonably priced high quality food. Highly recommended.

Cool pizzeria in the basement! Thanks to the large mirrors and pleasant lighting, you feel very comfortable, the service is fast and friendly, and the pizza is good. I would have liked a Moretti, Peroni, Nastro Azurro, or something like that on principle, but German beer is fine ;-)

Went to La Grotta in Fischen again today. The food was excellent again, and we were spoiled by an older, dark-haired waitress. It's rare to find such attentive and courteous service! 👍💪 Great, please keep it up!

Very tasty pizzas and pasta dishes. The pinsas are also highly recommended. Pleasant atmosphere – even if you have to climb down a few steps to get to the restaurant, it's worth it. Very friendly service who is happy to accommodate guests' requests. We'll be back – we'll definitely be back!

Too many tables in a small space, resulting in a very loud noise. Long wait. Pizza lacks seasoning, oregano was missing :( Pasta, well, here too, you have to search for flavor. Tastes bland.

Highly recommended! During our four-day stay in Fischen with my father, we spent three of the four evenings at this lovely restaurant and were never disappointed. Delicious food, super friendly service, and fair prices. We'll be back sometime!

Lasagne and Pizza Regina were very good, service was fast and friendly

The food was truly top-notch. The service was abysmal. The manager, who took our order, was unfriendly and arrogant. We were there in motorcycle gear, as we were on tour, and my boyfriend has dreadlocks. The well-dressed guests at the next table were laughing and joking, while we were monosyllabic and had stony expressions. That sort of thing is completely unacceptable. We can't recommend it. At most, you should go there well-dressed, well-off, shaved, and bleached! It gets two stars for the ambiance, but the annoying flies outside make it hard to change that.

For a pizza from an Italian, I thought it would be better.

Thank you for the reply 😊 We ordered two pizzas and a lasagna. The pizzas were large and good as always. The lasagna was an 11cm x 11cm slice. More sauce than lasagna. Last year, the entire aluminum tray was filled with lasagna, this year it was only half full. Of course, that doesn't justify the price of €13.90 at all.

Not just "a pizzeria".. If you just feel good when you go out to eat, you feel like you're at home, you feel like you're among friends, then it's not just "just a pizzeria". The dishes are always very good; If something doesn't fit, it's no problem to say so, so that it can be made right! The staff is very familiar, not only with each other, but also with us guests, I think one of the most important reasons why you like to come back! At La Grotta you are not SERVED, you are warmly welcomed. You don't get placed, you get taken care of. Therefore a clear recommendation!!

Food top, service flop. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the La Grotta restaurant. The pizzas are really great and the P/L is also correct, but the service is subpar. The lady who served as the “waitress” seemed very dubious; for example, when it came to water, she didn’t ask whether it was with or without sparkling water, or about the size of the beer. But I'm happy to ignore that, as it's partly up to the guest. What I can't foresee is that we were simply ignored after dinner. The above-mentioned lady finally sat down with a group of guests and drank some wine. He probably got off work and was served by the boss (very unprofessional!). The boss then prefers to chat with a group of regular guests for at least 10 minutes and completely forgets about the rest of his guests. Even after half an hour of waiting and several eye contacts, we simply weren't served. Payment was then made at the bar and the free liquor and tips were waived.

Unreserved recommendation - The pizzas and dessert were delicious, the service was great and very friendly. At first it seems strange to go into the guest room in the basement. But once you get down there it's cozy and you feel good.

Good pizzeria with huge pizzas. The spaghetti with fried scampi and rocket is also delicious. Don't forget ravioli with salmon. Various other kitchen offerings on the displayed board every day. Due to its popularity, a table reservation is recommended. Price/performance is right.

This is the best pizzaria in Fischen. Super nice service. It's definitely worth it. The pizza base is great, not flabby. with fresh ingredients and the pasta gratinated is a dream.

Perfect food, great service and value for money is simply unbeatable. We come here very often as regular guests. There is also a schnapps when you pay 🍸 very good quality. Can only be recommended.

Every Tuesday, always after Pilates, we end the evening in La Grotta. Everything just fits here. The food is delicious, the service is fast, friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's probably in the basement, but that doesn't have any negative effects. It's good that La Grotta exists. About the picture: half a Parma pizza.

We were there in the last week of January. The pizza and pasta dish were excellent and moderately priced. Since my wife really wanted to enjoy a second Tatufo Nero there again, we went there again a few days later. Our mistake was - we hadn't made a reservation, so unfortunately there were no tables available. Our fault - sad woman...

During our stay in Fischen, we were guests in La Grotta. We were welcomed in a good mood: the service, very child-friendly, humorous and courteous, immediately created a warm atmosphere. The food is authentic, definitely a 10 out of 10. Very, very tasty. We had nothing to complain about at all: no long waiting times, a cozy atmosphere, large portions, excellent taste, very good selection of food and drinks. We also got limoncello on the house, as is usual in Italy, as well as coffee. Unfortunately we couldn't eat there again because our son got sick. But definitely again next year. Absolute recommendation if you are in the area.

We ate on site. Among other things, we ordered bruschetta. This was served with burnt white bread and chopped tomatoes with a little balsamic vinegar. Without any spices, oil and parmesan. If this simple appetizer is what Italian cuisine demands, you can also rename it “Alpengasthaus”. Our other dishes were also very bland and tasteless. Based on the reviews we expected more. It's a shame that the kitchen distorts the overall picture of the hospitality and reception.

The quality of the food is excellent. The service staff is happy to respond to the guests' wishes. Very suitable for smaller groups, for two or for families with children of all sizes. Price performance perfect!

In my opinion the best pizza of all 😍

We were here without a reservation and completely spontaneously. Unfortunately it was very full and loud because a children's sports club with parents and coaches had a Christmas party there at the same time as the normal guests. We were asked to hurry up with ordering and eating as the next guests had made reservations an hour later. As a small apology there was a schnapps on the house. The pizza was mediocre. The restaurant itself seemed tidy and clean.

Update: It's a shame how you deal with criticism that isn't all positive. The difference between grilled and fried is clear to me ;). And I've eaten it many times in Italy. But it never tasted as 'unpleasant' as this one. For the price I think it should just taste good. If you are happy with their dishes as they present them, then it's ok. :) Everything definitely looks much better in older pictures. We were probably just unlucky and the chef changed. I wish you all the best. LG Ms. Fine ;) (tourists in transit :) ) Oh, just a shame. Price/performance is simply very different here. The food was not prepared with love. Boring in taste. And you can eat so well in Italy. You can save on the vegetable soup, but you could make it so great. The calamari tastes bland but burnt, so I would suggest breading and deep-frying. The salad wasn't important, but I don't go out to eat Italian food just to eat salad. :) The carpaccio tasted good. The arugula was hidden at the bottom, at the top, it would have been nicer freshly served. The pizza dough was very good. Maybe there are just too many dishes on the menu. Less would probably be more. The service was very friendly :)
