Reservation was not honored. We were asked to wait until the table was free. After 25 minutes we asked what it looked like. The waitress informed us that the table had been given to someone else. It's very loud there and you can hardly have a conversation

We were there for dinner with the wish car on Friday October 4th, 2024 and felt very comfortable. Very nice welcome, absolutely delicious food and great, attentive and very friendly service. There was also live music that evening which really matched the ambience. I can absolutely recommend the inn. 5/5 stars. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Update: One year later: We are still enthusiastic about the best food in Fischen: Kässpatzen, spinach dumplings and onion roast roast, all super tasty, they cook with regional products. The waitresses are very courteous and quick to fulfill your wishes. We look forward to next year. Be sure to reserve a table, it's really easy to do online.

Super tasty and nice service, gladly again

NOT RECOMMENDED! It's hard to put into words what a bitter disappointment this establishment is - an absolute disaster! The overwhelmed waiters create such a chaotic atmosphere that one wonders whether there is even a minimum level of organization here. The unbearably long waiting times and the separate serving of food added to the already frustrating experience so much that even one star would be far too generous for this miserable service. While the food itself was good, that doesn't make up for the rest of the experience. I can say with certainty that we will never visit this place again.

Delicious food at a fair price! You can come here with a clear conscience (reservation is recommended). In summer there is also a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view.

Not recommended at peak times! First there was chaos when allocating a table, despite booking in advance, then after more than 40 minutes we still couldn't receive any drinks let alone place an order. The waitress had lost track of things and was partly at a loss. Thanks for nothing!

Licking food. Unfortunately drinks only after 40 minutes of waiting and food after 1.5 hours of waiting. Unfortunately that was too long for us and from our point of view it didn't make it an experience.

Very tasty food! Worth every penny.

The three of us were here as a family on a Sunday. You can reserve your table and time online. This is really optimal and highly recommended. It is very busy (we were there during the summer holidays) and without making a reservation you may not be able to get a seat. What's worth emphasizing is how friendly and attentive the staff is, especially towards children :-) The food and drinks were top! We would love to come back and thank you for everything :-)

Crusty roast and Wienerschnitzel, highly recommended.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we only ate there but the food is phenomenally large portions, great starters, very nice waiters and a wonderful ambience. It is dog friendly and very short waiting time. All in one a very good restaurant/accommodation where you can eat there all week long.

For us the tastiest food in the region! We tried out many restaurants during our 14-day vacation and everything was perfect here. The food is super delicious. The homemade salad dressing is amazing, as are the pan-fried schnitzel and the fried potatoes. Also super nice, friendly and attentive service. No question, we will definitely be back.

Five of us went here for dinner several times. Our baby and our 2 dogs also felt very comfortable. Service was very friendly and the food was always delicious. Every time the meat was butter tender. The restaurant is definitely a recommendation.

My work colleague and I went to Gasthof Krone for dinner. Overall we are very satisfied. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. We liked the choices. In addition, all employees are friendly and willing to give advice. Due to high demand, reservations are particularly useful for outdoor areas. We'd love to come back!

We had dinner here this evening and can recommend the kitchen. Delicious food and large portions. The burger was a little too pink for us, but it was cooked without any problems. The beef goulash with mashed potatoes was delicious! Many thanks to the kitchen and the service. All recommended!

Went here for 14 days at the Urlsub, tried it on a recommendation, good tip, great restaurant with a great beer garden and food, at a reasonable price

If you can get Kaiserschmarren here, it must also be offered during peak times. We left again, not even a star from me 😢 such a mess. Thank God there are also other restaurants, like Kreuzwirt, yay

Very good food, nice outdoor seating, good service. After having Schnitzel five days in a row, our declared the Schnitzel here as the best in this region. 😁

We came here spontaneously once in the evening and with a reservation the other time - both times it was great, the food tasted great and the service was very friendly and attentive! It is located right next to the train station and is simply inviting, highly recommended.

We have eaten at the Krone several times and also taken it home to go. Always great! Very tasty dishes. The game dishes and also the steaks are particularly recommended. These are fried personally by the boss and each level of doneness is served as desired. The girls in service are on their toes and it's always nice.

We had dinner in this very nice inn twice. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and nice. We'll definitely come by again.

No statements can be made about the hotel and the rooms, as we were only at the Gasthof Krone for dinner. The dining room was very well filled and the 3 waitresses (including the counter) were busy and yet attentive and friendly. Lucy deserves special mention here.

You sit very nicely. The pan schnitzel was very good. The spaetzle as a side dish could have used a little more flavor. The dishes on the other tables all looked very good. Overall recommended.

We ate in the restaurant today and had the Kronepfanne. "Pork medallion with spaetzle" 3 small, tough pieces of meat in an indefinable, fatty sauce with spaetzle (without any taste). When we came home shortly afterwards, we had the "fast Otto". Any further comment is therefore unnecessary!!!!

The daily menu here had deer schnitzel, which my wife ordered! The deer schnitzel was very tender and particularly tasty, we had never eaten such a deer schnitzel before! I had the pepper schnitzel with saddle of beef and pork fillet, it was also very good, but some pieces of saddle of beef were not fried as pink as the more tender pieces, the pork fillet was very good and also tender! The service was nice and helpful! The restaurant was full and we can only recommend it!

I ate a fantastically good venison schnitzel here today, it was so tender and so tasty. To date I have not found a deer schnitzel on a menu. Kudos to the chef.

Unfortunately, despite the reservation, we waited over an hour for food (roast pork).

We ate here 5 times out of our 12 days of vacation, and it was good 👍 The first time we came without a reservation, but the very nice service staff made it possible for us to stay and sat us at the regulars' table - great. On the other days we made reservations via cell phone, which I found very practical. Always had great seats, all three waitresses were super nice and attentive, thank you again for that.

We visited the inn for the first time today and had dinner there and what can I say, all the dishes were more than plentiful, the staff were very friendly and we had a very nice evening.

The food was generally good but it took a long time. In a large group, the food arrived delayed by over 30 minutes. When the train goes past it is rather loud.

We went there for dinner with our dog, who was welcomed inside. We had the Kronenpfännle with Schwein medallions. It was very tasty, so much in quantity that we could not finish but could take the rest home in a box. Very nice feature! Otherwise the service was friendly but a bit slow since the restaurant was full.

Luckily the great waitresses “from before” are back 🥳 So it’s fun to come by again 👌🏻👏🏻

Very tasty, home-style cuisine, despite the full dining room we were served quickly and very friendly. We didn't wait too long for our food as it was busy. The dishes were all wonderful, the portions generous and attractively prepared. We recommend!

We can only judge the restaurant. The service was very good, the food was excellent, but the price was comparatively high for fishing. Clear recommendation if you don't want to eat cheaply. Pepper steak €38.

Delicious food, friendly service - despite the packed house there was still a joke and a smile on our faces. Thats how it is suppost to be!

We had dinner at the Krone on a Wednesday. Although we had made reservations, there weren't too many guests there - it was simply low season. The building is a few hundred years old, beautifully renovated and the inside - especially the dining room - is a real chic, rustic Allgäu feast for the eyes! It is cozy, there are real candles (!) (not LED replicas), tablecloths and pleasant light. In short: a stylish, cozy atmosphere to feel good. We ordered crusted roast with coleslaw and spinach dumplings with salad. The service was very friendly and acted professionally; came with the cards at the right time, politely and kindly gave me time to choose twice, and brought the drinks quickly. Since the cooking in the Krone is fresh (without ready-made spices etc., which is why there is no list of allergens, it is not necessary), it may take a little time - but we didn't find it to be too long (about a good 10 minutes until the Salad came and another good 10 until the main course) and we were happy to wait under these pleasant circumstances! The salad was mixed, a medium-sized, well-heaped plate full, very fresh, appetizing and tasty. The potato salad in it is Swabian good and not out of the bucket! The 3 large dumplings soft, gentle, a poem - I personally was only missing a little salt - with wonderful mountain cheese and butter. Afterwards I was absolutely full. My husband's roast was very good, with a crust (!) that wasn't tough, a wonderful dark beer sauce (I think) and the coleslaw with bacon was also just right in terms of taste. The consistency of the herb – you have to be able to do that – was also perfect. In terms of price, the Krone is only slightly above the “normal level” for various dishes. Nocks with salad €17, for example - as far as I know, drink prices were within normal limits. We recommend the Krone because it tastes extremely good, the service is good and it's really comfortable to sit there! Thanks for a nice evening.

We went to the restaurant for dinner - the food was great and the service was super friendly and accommodating. Our dog was also very welcome. The regulars sometimes gawk a bit, but given the quality this is, that's bearable :-)

Unfortunately, we arrived 20 minutes early and mentioned this immediately when registering. We were rudely told that "the times are there to stick to it, everything is full and we should show up at 7:30 p.m. as agreed." We blamed these unkind words on stress and of course we wait, we're too early. We had no problem with the wait, only with the unfriendly reprimand. So we waited on a bench in the hallway. At 7:20 p.m. two ladies showed up and when they entered they were already wondering whether they were too early for 7:30 p.m. Since you didn't mention this when registering, you were immediately escorted to the place. Unfortunately, at 7:30 p.m. when we went back to register there was no space available and, despite having a reservation, we were allowed to share a table with another couple who came at exactly 7:30 p.m. It was time until the drinks were taken 20 minutes and of course the couple at the table with us who came after us got their turn before us. Instead of a naturally cloudy lemon soda, I received a Sprite. It didn't matter, the two service staff seemed so snooty and error-free that we didn't feel like discussing anything. For dinner there was roast onion (solid food but 32€ is already proud) and sauerbraten of venison. Both were good. The stars are for food...

We have been coming to Gasthof Krone to eat for years and not just once a year. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed on our last visit that we won't be going back. The food is totally overpriced and the service is unfriendly. And for an empty plate for a 2 year old child, we were charged €1.50. No trace of hospitality. Price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all.

It's a shame, we otherwise really enjoyed going to the Krone... The new service is unfriendly and has great sayings. She seems to be in charge. Reservations are only possible online - older people are discriminated against here. No quarter, no chance of getting another table. We now know many holidaymakers who will no longer enter the Krone! Dear Magdalena with her friendly manner is simply missing! The food and especially the drinks are overpriced. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has also deteriorated. It's a shame, we're not coming anymore.

Pork loin with mushrooms and cheese sparrows, braised ox Hello, we were eating in the Krone again this year, my wife had the sauerbraten of venison, it tasted great, I had to look for my pork loin with spaetzle and mushrooms with mountain cheese gratinated under a mass covered in sauce, no comparison to last year, service not friendly, brought the food, my beer glass was empty, she simply ignored it, only after I asked did I get a beer after a long time, we were almost finished with the food. Then the price for a simple and carelessly prepared salad plate of 7.50 euros was the crowning glory, that was never the case again

Great ambience with Allgäu flair. You can tell that great value is placed on the quality of the ingredients. Kudos to the kitchen!

Wir, 2 Erwachsene 2 Kinder waren Abends zu Gast und hatten reserviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise waren nicht günstig aber fair. Der Service war gut und freundlich. Leider eins der wenigen Häuser in Fischen die man noch zum essen besuchen kann.

Für mich ein "MUSS" in meinem Urlaub in der Krone zu essen. Sehr leckeres Essen, gibt nichts besseres für mich. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Nur zu empfehlen 👍👌

Essen ist zu empfehlen. Leider ist das freundliche Personal nicht mehr im Haus. Wurde wohl wegrationalisiert. Nur noch Aushilfen die den halben Tisch abräumen während noch gegessen wird. Räuberteller wird mit 1,50 Euro berechnet SOGAR WENN SICH 2 KINDER EIN GERICHT TEILEN. Die Küche war nicht einmal in der Lage das Essen der beiden Kinder auf 2 Teller zu verteilen, das mussten wir am Tisch selber machen. Wie sagte die Wirtin doch so schön schnippich... Das Haus der Geschenke gibts hier nicht mehr. So geht's leider nicht, wir sind da dann mal raus!

Schon lange nicht mehr in so einem tollen Ambiente gegessen. Auch die flott agierende, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung verdient eine Erwähnung, zumal sie am Sonntagabend allein agierte... Leider war der Koch auch allein# , aber gut Ding will Weile haben! Mein Tipp: bestell ein zweites Bier, und das Essen kommt 😄. Das Filetpfännle war, mit vielen Pilzen garniert, sehr schmackhaft und durch den reichlich vorhandenem, und daher sehr sattmachenden, regionalem Käse die Empfehlung wert . #kl. Kritik - ist wohl aber die Ausnahme: das Filet war wohl zulange in der Pfanne, ist dem Zeitdruck wohl geschuldet, kann passieren. Erwähnenswert: der liebevoll dekorierte und (schon beim Renovieren) ideenreich gestaltete Gastraum. Noch eine Bemerkung am Rande (wenn ich sehe, wie viel "nicht aufgegessen Teller" zurückommen) da die Wirte die MwSt-Erhöhung an die Gäste abgeben wollen: Stellt euer Konzept um, gebt weniger auf den Teller und sagt gleich: Wer es braucht, bekommt Nachschlag bei Fleisch und Teigwaren. Es werden wenige sein, mit hätte 1/4 weniger voll genügt, da der Käse so satt macht! Irgendwo habe ich mal so ein Konzept gesehen, mit dem deutlichen Hinweis: wer dass dann aber nicht schafft, bezahlt 50ct. Spende an.... Lebensmittelverschwendung sollte es nicht mehr geben.

Wir waren nur im Restaurant & haben sehr gut gegessen (Krustenbraten, Zwiebelrostbraten, Wiener Schnitzel, Käsesuppe, Fischsuppe). Mehr muss man doch eigentlich nicht sagen, oder?

Waren immer sehr gerne hier im Restaurant. Leider sind die Portionen innerhalb von 2 Monaten auf die Hälfte geschrumpft und auch die neue Bedienung kann nicht durch Freundlichkeit überzeugen! Wir wollten nochmal her kommen, werden jetzt aber davon absehen. Sehr schade, da es jahrelang unser Lieblingsrestaurant hier war.

Sehr ehrliche, regionale und leckere Küche. Das Essen überzeugt von sehr guter Qualität. Der Service ist großartig. Freundlich und nett, man merkt sie haben Spaß an ihrem Beruf. Wir waren oftmals dort essen und jedesmal war es rundum super. Macht weiter so !

Wir waren Essen, und sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sehr gut 👍 wie man es sich wünscht. Der Service war trotz gut besuchten Lokal sehr schnell und freundlich. Das Preisleistung Verhältnis war dem Essen angemessen, obwohl ich mir zu meinem Zwiebel Rostbraten einen kleinen Beilagensalat gewünscht hätte. Da das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegart war und super geschmeckt hat, haben wir sofort wieder einen Tisch reserviert. Dies ist wegen Personal Mangel nur über Internet Buchung möglich.

Waren drei Tage nach einander dort beim Essen, es hat jeden Tag aufs neue sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der Service ist freundlich. Im nächsten Urlaub werden wir auch wieder dort essen gehen. Wenn man reserviert bekommt mann immer mit Sicherheit einen Tisch.

Wow! Wir sind dieses Jahr, als Stammgäste, wieder einmal positiv überrascht worden! Das Essen ist wie immer überragend gut und geschmacklich nicht zu übertreffen! So schmeckt Allgäu 👍🏻 Der Service lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen! Der Empfang und die Bedienung sind herzlich nett und trotz der „schwierigen Zeiten“ in der Lage, ein „Willkommen-Gefühl“ zu vermitteln, welches anderswo oft auf der Strecke bleibt. Auch mit Hund ist es hier möglich, einen stressfreien und unkomplizierten Abend zu verbringen, so wie man es sich im Urlaub wünscht ! Positiv überrascht waren wir von der, anders als gewohnt, SEHR angenehmen „Wohlfühl- Atmosphäre“ direkt von Anfang an. So kommen wir noch viel lieber wieder 🤩

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei den Speisen ist gut! Man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Tisch reservieren, da das Lokal gut besucht ist. Das geht online völlig problemlos!

Unser Essen war sehr gut, Krustenbraten und Sauerbraten von Hirsch. Der Service sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, ebenso freundlich. Wir können das Restaurant empfehlen, wir kommen wieder.

Gutes Essen, nette Bedienung die aber alleine schwer am Rennen ist, aber gut ein bisserl Zeit mitbringen. Bezahlen hat gefühlt 30 Minuten gedauert, aber ansonsten passt alles.

Wir haben uns auf den Besuch des Restaurants schon sehr gefreut, da wir in der Vergangenheit bezüglich Essen und Bedienung immer sehr zufrieden waren. Nach Rückfrage bezüglich der Bedeutung und des Preises für einen Räuberteller (1,50€) wurden wir gefragt in welcher Welt wir leben würden! Das Essen war in Ordnung, bis auf die Spinatknödel die gefühlt in einem halben Pfund Butter schwammen. Darauf angesprochen reagierte eine verantwortliche des Bedienungspersonals sehr unwillig. Sie empfahl uns wiederholt in Zukunft dieses Restaurant nicht mehr zu besuchen. Aufgrund unserer Vorerfahrung und der hohen Qualität der Speisen bedauern wir diese Aussage sehr.
