Pizzeria Pisa in Bochum

The food was really not good. Poorly seasoned, and the pasta wasn't cooked al dente. It was a far cry from Italian taste.

As far as I know, this was the first pizza I ate here four and a half years ago when I moved here. A friend and I were planning on having a nice evening. The pizzas were so greasy that we ended up feeling sick. The reviews at the time weren't that bad, and unfortunately we let that guide us. The pizza place clearly gave us the slip. The staff were actually quite nice, but communication was very, very difficult because they barely spoke any German. I don't want to judge people for that. I'm not racist or anything, but I do believe that whoever works here/has to deal with people should have a certain level of knowledge in order to do their job conscientiously and to make things easier for themselves and others.

Very good selection, very tasty pizza. It's worth eating there.

Ordered for a Saturday and expected a delay, pizza arrived after 2.5 hours with no apology and cold. If only it had tasted good.

You wait over an hour for a pizza, call, and then have to wait another 45 minutes? NEVER AGAIN!!

Pizzeria Pisa in my town sells moldy cheese. The owner wears sandals, plays with his feet, and makes pizza without washing his hands. No joke, I swear to you. I was in the bathroom and noticed him come in, pee, and leave without washing his hands. Two minutes later, I was upstairs and saw him opening pizza dough. There are still regular customers there, no one knows why. Oh, and the place is full of cockroaches.

I visited this pizzeria after more than a year of absence. I ordered a 'Catania' pizza (ham, broccoli with hollandaise sauce). Apparently, there's been a change of ownership in the meantime. Communication (German/English) didn't work. The hollandaise sauce was missing. :( Perhaps this is just an irrelevant, anecdotal opinion of mine. As I recall, this restaurant used to be busier on a warm Friday summer day. Which might say something about its new appeal? But why not form your own opinion and post it here if you need to?

Everything looks new, but the same people who unfortunately just can't seem to get it right. I ordered for pickup at 4 p.m. and arrived to find the store completely empty and no pizza in the oven. At 4 p.m., they started making my pizzas. I ordered via the in-house app, and the employee told me I would have been quicker if I had called. 🥲👍

We celebrated the birthday on the terrace, so there were 16 people. The service was truly excellent. The "frutti di mare" pizza disappeared immediately, and I had to reorder twice. The baked vegetables were delicious.

I've been there a few times and have always been very satisfied. The food is good and fresh, and I'm always happy to go back :)

A small pizza will be €2 more expensive if you eat there. However, this is not communicated to the customer beforehand.

The pizza was a total disaster. The dough was sour, and it tasted like someone had vomited on my pizza. Eat somewhere else if you don't want to get stomach problems.

The delivery took two hours. "We were busy" isn't an excuse. It has something to do with poor organization.

Delivery too late and then wrong! Then cheekily claim that everything is fine! We will never order from such a bad pizzeria again! You should be closed!😡😡😡😡😡

Waited over 2 hours for food, called twice, phone call not possible due to language barrier, driver goes to the wrong house number, food delivered incorrectly and burned. Never again!

Actually I liked the food when I visited the restaurant but today I wanted to order food and wow the guy taking my call was super unfriendly. Why would you work in a restaurant when you don’t want to talk to people?

December 18, 2024 We ordered pizzas for 6:00 PM. After asking where the pizzas were (called at 6:05 PM), they said they would arrive in the next 15 minutes. The pizzas arrived at 6:57 PM and were cold, and 2 of the 5 had the wrong toppings. As compensation, we were given a bottle of Coke. With delays like this, they should offer a generous discount. We placed our order at 4:00 PM. We've ordered from Pisa many times. It's slowly getting worse. Today, a solid 6. We won't be ordering from there again.

Last order: Lots of toppings on the pizza, filled to the brim. The taste was quite good. But… What has ham got to do in a lasagne? Nice supplier. Unfortunately after the change of ownership it is not even remotely comparable to 2 years ago. It used to be the top address in Bochum when it came to pizza. Now with difficulty just 3 stars. 😞

We liked it a lot. The service was super friendly. We enjoyed the food. You can also sit comfortably inside. Also outside in summer. We would come again.

The chef needs to work harder on the pasta sauce recipe. It really didn't taste like anything.

If you offer delivery, you should also be able to deliver, or not offer delivery services through all possible portals. 10 minutes after placing the order I received a call from a Belgian mobile phone number saying that delivery was not possible and that I should pick it up. Just bad. Otherwise the store is just pretty shabby inside. It's a shame, a few fewer customers again. No service, no customers.

Completely starving after a long day there, ordered and after 10 minutes received one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Rispetto! No card payment! Cash and PayPal only!

A short version: Food average Takeaway prices are reasonable Service rather bad For everyone who wants to lose 5 minutes of their life, here is a longer version: A total of 3 pizzas were ordered. In terms of taste, these were okay. As a "service" you can note that there were also pizza rolls with herb butter. There was a misunderstanding about the price of the pizzas. There were 2 different menus in the restaurant. One that hangs large on the ordering counter and can be described as a "tempting offer" and a card with prices for consumption in the restaurant. The menu for consumption in the restaurant only shows a price for all dishes (although a small version can apparently also be ordered??). Accordingly, when we sat down in the store, we expected prices to be in the range of the "entice offer", as these were also diligently advertised in front of the store and at the counter. After the "lure offer" we would have come to a price of around €15 including the student discount for our small pizzas. Now the bill was €20, which was an extra charge of !!33%!! amounts. After examining the invoice, only the overall invoice was shown without the individual items. When we asked about the discrepancy, we were referred to the higher tax rate for local visits. We should also ask about the prices when we sit down in the restaurant. At the same time, I had the feeling that no one wanted to clear up this misunderstanding for me. I understand the business approach of charging higher prices for a local visit. However, this does not explain the confusing presentation and high discrepancy in the two price cards. When I paid I immediately felt like I was being ripped off. The location was fine. The table I was sitting at had a wobbly top. Therefore, I couldn't lean on the table without lifting the top. The toilet was clean. However, it was not barrier-free for those of us with physical disabilities. I would like to see the different price catalogs clearly marked in the restaurant. Furthermore, it would be nice not to be thrown off with a “not my problem”. Finally my conclusion: In terms of taste, I would give the pizza an average rating. The price is only reasonable for take-away. Service was immediately unfriendly as soon as there was a discrepancy. If you want honest and clear prices, you've come to the wrong place. If you want to take something with you if you're quickly hungry, it's acceptable.

A wonderful pizzeria, the food was plentiful and you get something for your money. We were outside on the beautiful terrace and were able to fully enjoy the evening and the nice thing is that dogs are very welcome. Happy all around! Always my pleasure....

I came here today, initially I was the only guest. The waitress spent a long time on the phone and was rather listless about it. Ordered beer and pizza. Beer came at the same time as the pizza, after 15 minutes. Other things were more important than the guest... Normally you bring the drink to the table first. While at a later time all the guests, who incidentally arrived much later than me, were given pizza rolls, none were brought to me as a single person. When I asked, I was told that you do it this way and that way.... Whatever the secret behind this answer may be...?! Beer empty, wait, nothing happens, until you go to the counter, about 1.5 meters away and ask for a second one. This time it was much faster at 7 minutes. About food you have to say: Pizza Good, well done, topping good and neat! After I finished sitting, nothing happened for 15 minutes. Staff does not have eye contact with customers. Empty plates are also piled up at the neighboring table Restaurant currently has 3 tables occupied. It's a shame, unfortunately I couldn't leave a ServicePoint here today. The staff on site said it was due to a lack of staff, which unfortunately doesn't seem understandable to me given that there's a single guest sitting only 1.5 meters away from the service area. You might be better advised to use the delivery service.

After a long time, I ordered again from Pisa......that was finally the last time. The lasagne was soggy, hardly any pasta sheets, but sauce that couldn't be defined, the smell of it wasn't pleasant either...the filled pizza rolls with tuna and ham were good. Pizza with spinach, onions etc. was dry. We used to go there often and order a lot from there........no more try.

Pizza isn't that bad but the staff is rather unfriendly and listless. In addition, the opening times are no longer correct. They now always close at 9 p.m.

Die beste Pizza & Pasta in ganz bochum! Soo lecker & die Preise sind total okay. Habe schon viele Pizzerien ausprobiert, aber immer wieder kam ich zu pisa. Bestellen klappt auch super & geht auch immer schnell, vorallem, wenn man in der Nähe wohnt. Kommt super heiß an. Die beste Salami & tonno Pizza gibt es dort!

Bin heute hier hin gekommen, ich war zunächst der einzige Gast. Bedienung hat lange telefoniert, war eher lustlos bei der Sache. Bier und Pizza bestellt. Bier kam dann gleichzeitig mit der Pizza, nach 15 Min. Da waren andere Dinge wichtiger als der Gast... Normalerweise bringt man doch erst mal das Getränk zum Tisch. Während zu späterer Zeit alle Gäste, die übrigens wesentlich später kamen als ich, zuvor Pizzabrötchen bekamen, hat man mir als einzelne Person keine gebracht. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir gesagt, das man das mal so und mal so handhabe.... Was immer das Geheimnis hinter dieser Antwort sein mag....?! Bier leer, warten, nichts passiert, bis man mal zur Theke geht, ca 1,5 Meter entfernt und nach einem zweiten fragt. Diesmal gings mit 7 Minuten deutlich schneller. Zum Essen muss man sagen: Pizza Gut, gut durch, Topping gut und ordentlich! Nachdem ich fertig gesessen hatte, ist erst mal 15 Min. nichts passiert. Personal hat keinen Blickkontakt zum Kunden. Leere Teller stapeln sich auch am Nachbartisch Restaurant hat derzeit 3 Tische belegt. Schade, hier konnte ich leider heute keinen ServicePoint hinterlassen. Das Personal Vor Ort meinte es läge am Personalmangel, was für mich leider nicht nachvollziehbar scheint bei einem einzigen Gast der auch nur 1,5 Meter vom Servicebereoch entfernt sitzt.

I’ve traveled the world. I’ve been to Pizza joints everywhere and I’m lucky that the ABSOLUTE best is found just two streets from my home. If you have not had a Pizza Fantasia or Mimo here, you have never had pizza before. It is richly topped and deliciously cheesy. Yes, service could be better. But if I’d only have to eat one Pizza for the rest of my life, Pizza Fantasia from Pizza Pisa it is!

Der Service ist mittlerweile unterirdisch. Personal das null Interesse an Kundenservice hat. Die bestellte Lasagne war nahezu ungewürzt, zusätzlich bestellter Belag auf der Pizza fehlte, Tisch draußen wurde nicht gereinigt, Speisekarten nicht abgeräumt, keine Brötchen wie gewohnt vor ab, keinerlei Rückfragen nach weiteren Getränken, ob das Essen schmeckt etc., Teller bis zum Bezahlvorgang nicht abgeräumt. Nicht mehr empfehlenswert!!!!!!
