This is an incredibly cozy little shop, the boss is very warm and personable. And the food was great, especially at THAT price! This won't be my last visit!

Unfortunately a disappointment. We ordered a Parma Rucola pizza - hardly any toppings, very hard, not convincing in terms of taste, the tomato sauce was not good, and on top of that it arrived lukewarm. The lasagne tasted like it came from the supermarket – dry and without any real taste. In addition, there weren't even pizza rolls included; you had to buy them separately. These were tiny, about the size of a 2 euro piece. Given the many positive reviews (4.7 stars), I expected much more. Price-performance ratio is absolutely not justified here. Unfortunately not recommended. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ So the criticism remains factual but clear. Does that suit you?

Found this wee place by accident and it's was outstanding! Food was great, staff were friendly. We can't speak German but not a problem as the staff were more than happy to translate if needed (used Google tranlaste).

Kind service, very dicilious Italian food, especially the pasta and pizza. It is more of a takeaway restaurant, but you still can sit there nicely.

Wrong pizza delivered, supposedly can't deliver again. Although the pizza cost a lot more. Simply unnecessary.

Many things did not go well at this place: 1/ the pizza was not good, it was burned and dry; 2/ they did not a “working” POS to pay with card, which is a bit hard to believe; 3/ the waiter was unfriendly and pushy with one of my friends to find “someone” that could pay the bill. I am not sure it is legal to oblige someone to pay in cash as by law exercises like these need to offer a card payment as well.

A small and nice restaurant with extremely friendly and attentive staff. We really enjoyed the pizzas! The prices are also very fair and you can pay both in cash and by card.

I've ordered there several times before but today the lasagna didn't work at all. The pasta sheets were still raw and the lasagna hadn't been in the oven long enough. After I put them in the oven for 15 minutes, I saw that there was no sauce between the plates, just slapped on top.

I can't say anything about the service and ambience, as I've only ordered via delivery here so far. We have ordered several times now and have always been very satisfied. The pizza always arrived quickly and, above all, fresh. My favorite is the Aubergine Parmesan pizza with whole wheat dough :)

The food was clear, simple, of the best quality and very tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed, as if the hosts were sharing something from home. Regular guests are greeted by name. A place that shapes the district. Thanks. The impression of the first visit remains after the second. What I find outstanding is the warm welcome and the surprising, very tasty differentness of tasting the familiar, like today with a Bolognese.

I would advise against ordering. Pizza rolls are hard and cold, definitely a bit old. Pizza was also cold. Taste OK. Tiramisu and PannaCotta were not properly sealed and leaked. The finished raspberry sauce on the panna is a disaster. Gnocci in sage were good! Unfortunately that was it...

I actually really enjoyed being there, but when the toppings for the half and half pizza were charged twice when paying and not just the most expensive topping, I found that pretty uncool. The most expensive pizza costs €11, I was allowed to pay €15. I'm not coming back anymore.

Today I was in the small pizzaria Pesto da Fabio for the first time and I have to say the pizza is really very good - very, very thin and nice and crispy! The ambience is quite nice, but you should know that it has more of a snack bar feel than a fine restaurant. But that doesn't affect the quality :) The staff is very friendly! Update February 2024 Once again the service was super friendly! The pizza is still highly recommended - very thin and crispy. The tiramisu is also recommended 😉 I would love to come back here!

Die Pizza ist lecker , ein netter Laden, netter Besitzer. Habe 3 mal dort Pasta gegessen. Die ist allerdings eher durchschnittlich und nicht so wie man es für ein italienisches Restaurant erwartet, gibt es woanders definitiv besser. Dennoch werde ich immer mal wieder hingehen.

Super Italiener. Super Nudeln, klasse Pizza, wunderbare Bedienung.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Pizzen waren typisch italienisch und die Tortellini mit Spinat und Käse überbacken haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Dessert wurde wegen Sättigung leider ausgelassen. Am Nebentisch sah das Tiramisu aber sehr ansprechend aus. Ein besseres Preis-Leistungsverhältnis findet man selten. Der Service war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr groß, 15 bis 20 Leute haben wohl Platz. Viele Bestellungen werden auch zum Mitnehmen abgeholt. Wem das nicht stört ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir durften ein wunderbares Essen genießen.

Chi viaggia per passione cerca il cibo del paese che sta visitando, per me ê sempre stato cosi e dopo 30 anni di viaggi spesso mi sono scontrata con amici, compagni, accompagnatori ecc che all'estero cercano l 'italia . Poche volte all estero ho assaggiato buon cibo italiano e quando é stato cosi, si trattava di locali non turistici...ieri a Dusseldorf una piacevole scoperta, in un quartiere non centralissimo, mia figlia 12enne mi chiede una caprese, senza guardare recensioni mi dirigo da pizza pesto, il più vicino in base al Maps...posto piccolo ma carino e, sorpresa la pasta migliore mai assaggiata all'estero, con la cottura al dente ed il gusto di pomodoro ed olio d' oliva. Gentilissime le cameriere e prezzo conveniente... Grazie mille

Eine wahre kulinarische Reise nach Sizilien in der Pizzeria Pesto! Die Aromen und Geschmäcker der Pizzen sind einfach fabelhaft und erinnern mich an meine Zeit auf der wunderschönen Insel. Jeder Bissen brachte die authentischen Aromen von Sizilien direkt auf meine Geschmacksknospen. Der Pizzaboden war perfekt knusprig und die Beläge waren großzügig und frisch. Das Team hat offensichtlich eine Leidenschaft für echte italienische Küche, die in jedem Gericht spürbar ist. Wenn Sie nach einem Stück Sizilien suchen, ist die Pizzeria Pesto ein absolutes Muss! Und auch der Service ist unglaublich. Vielen dank für den wunderschönen Abend.

Sehr coole und italienischen Atmosphären. Chef und Co. sind sehr aufmerksam. Zu essen gab es, 1xCaprese, 1xTonno, 1 x Vegetarisch. Ein dünner (positiv) Teig mit genau den Dingen darauf, die sein sollten. Zudem vorher Pizza Brötchen mit Olivenöl und Co. Sehr lange nicht mehr solch eine Pizza gegessen. Denke das letzte mal war es in Italien. Ausserdem, alles in einer wahnsinns Geschwindigkeit am Tisch. Preise für den Geschmack absolut Top. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Leider keine gute Erfahrung bei Lieferung über Lieferando. - 20 Minuten später als bei Bestellung angegeben. - Essen komplett kalt. - Nudelwunsch nicht erfüllt. - Wenig Sauce. - Die geschmackliche Qualität konnte man aber erahnen. In Summe nix zum liefern, aber vermutlich ein gutes Restaurant.

Vandaag heeeeeerlijke pizza gegeten! Niet te groot, precies goed! De maffiosi is lekker pittig, de quattro formaggi goed belegd met heerlijke kazen. Daarbij hebben we natuurlijk Aperol Spritz genomen, de beste sinds tijen! We hadden nog ruimte om een versgemaakte tiramisu te delen. Echt zooooo lekker! En dan afsluiten met een espresso en het was een goddelijke maaltijd! Top! En als laatste het afrekenen. Je eet hier geweldig goed voor een klein prijsje bij een echte Italiaan. Absolute aanrader!

Cooler Laden,Top Personal und richtig gute Pizza. Geheimtipp in Düsseldorf. Ich gehe oft mit meinem Sohn dorthin und er ist begeistert von den Jungs und von der Pizza. Die Pizza ist kross und dünn. Ich muss sagen für mich die beste in Düsseldorf.

I ordered the Caprese pizza, and it was the worst pizza I ever ate. There was litteraly a whole tomato cut in half on it, the cheese was tasteless and so was the basil. Plus, the pizza was cut in a completely random fashion. Honestly, it was insulting. Please, take the time to taste your menu, because this pizza is just bad.

Das Essen ist super lecker. Die beiden Pepperoncini-Öle für die Pizza sind genial im Geschmack. Die Atmosphäre ist italienisch lebhaft. Eine gute Stimmung zwischen Chef und Mitarbeiter lässt die viele Arbeit vergessen. Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt. Wenn Du sicher einen Platz haben willst, dann lohnt es sich zu reservieren. A+++, top Restaurant. Sehr faire Preise, auch für die guten Weine.

3,5 Sterne Gute und günstige Pizza: die Sardinen auf der Napoli (8€) waren mir viel zu salzig (ist Geschmackssache). Sie ist dünn und kross. Es gab Mini Pizzabrötchen mit Olivenöl gratis dazu. Sehr entspannte und coole Besitzer/Mitarbeiter :)

More than 1.5 years of weekly Pizzeria Pesto visits have taught me a lot. "PP", the way we call Pizzeria Pesto in my flat, simply delivers great Italian food consistently. Although I am addicted to Pizza Napoli (capers, olives, anchovies) and rarely eat anything else, I still know their caprese salad, a few other pizzas, the tagliatelle w/ salmon, Insalata Mista and most noticeably, Düsseldorf's leading Tiramisu. Anyone who has read my review on Le Bontà del Capo at Italy's famous Amalfi coast knows that I am an expert in Tiramisu evaluations and therefore make only valid claims regarding the world's best dessert. But we don't want to drift apart, we just want to acknowledge culinary greatness. I highly appreciate PP to be so close to my home, to make me feel like it's the weekend already when getting my Napoli and a still water on a Thursday night or having a glass of Lugana w/ my closest friends. You can eat and drink everything at PP and will be astonished by the ridiculously fair pricing policy in place. I love PP.
