Pizzeria Pam Pam in Regensburg

The last time we were there was 8 years ago - back then everyone was thrilled with the pizzas. Unfortunately there was nothing gluten-free back then. This time - surprise - both pizza and pasta were offered gluten-free ♡ the gluten-free pizza dough is not homemade but it still tasted good to us AND contains neither soy nor any frills. The people at the next table had gluten-free spaghetti and were also really excited. The hefty (gluten-free) surcharge of €2 is crass - like everywhere else, illness is punished here through additional costs. Pizza Funghi (cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes on glutem-free ready-made dough) €16.20. If, like us, you don't often convert to marks, you should leave it alone in this case ;) The serve is at least clearly marked. The portions are large and you'll easily feel full :) and the taste was amazing! The homemade lemonades are really good :) There is no such thing as vegan and there are no parking spaces either. Location is in the old town and it's really beautiful ;) the service was friendly and helpful.

The wood-fired pizza was very tasty, perfectly baked, quality ingredients. The atmosphere and service I would say ok.

We were there spontaneously. Ate 4 mega excellent pizzas. Very juicy. Very good. Unfortunately the prices for a pizza are too expensive.

The gluten-free pizza was so-so. The dough tasted like sourdough. The toppings were good. The pizza chef was a disaster. We constantly had to ask for more, and then some of the toppings were missing. Very uncoordinated. I probably wouldn't come back.

A very good pizza, I have rarely eaten something so good with my daughter. The service was good and friendly. A pizza is very good and you'll always have a good time with me. The service is good and simpatico.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of Regensburg! The food tastes very good, the service is great and quick. The selection of food and drinks is excellent and the ambience is also great. Be sure to reserve!

We were there 8 years ago and were very impressed and now we are again! Excellent pizzas, great selection and very friendly service, who even chats a few words about themselves! We also felt very welcome with our children, which is no longer the case everywhere.

Sehr schöner Abend und durchweg tolles Essen. Wir hatten Spaghetti, Gnocchi und Pizza und waren alle absolut zufrieden. Bedienung sehr nett, so dass auch die kurze Wartezeit trotz Reservierung kein Problem war.

Really nasty food but nice service

I had the pleasure of visiting Pam Pam Italian Restaurant and it was simply an extraordinary experience! From the first moment the service was impeccable. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. Every request was met immediately, and the waiter's recommendations were absolutely perfect. The meal was a real pleasure. The dishes tasted fresh and authentic, as if you were dining directly in Italy. Of particular note was the pasta, which was served with a perfect sauce - seasoned just right and made with high quality ingredients. The pizza was crispy, thin and very tasty, just a dream! The dessert also rounded off the experience: a tiramisu that was heavenly creamy and almost melted in your mouth. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant – cozy, but still elegant. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening with excellent service and fantastic food. I will definitely come back and recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Absolute 5 stars!

Six of us were there yesterday. Pizza was bad. Something different arrived than ordered. The waitress showed no insight. Better go eat somewhere else.

Had dinner there yesterday with a large group of friends. The food really leaves something to be desired, two of us actually got something completely different than what we ordered. Someone else ordered a steak dish (they wanted medium/rare), it was so over-fried and dry that it was simply bad. I didn't even eat one piece of my pizza because Dr. Oetker taste better, for 16€? The staff leaves much to be desired, I have never felt so uncomfortable, they even asked the staff about the wrong food, no insight. Never had such a bad meal, never again.

Absolutely not recommended, we recently had dinner there, the service was pretty unfriendly right from the start, our order was taken incorrectly, when we pointed this out no understanding was shown, just a dull twitching of the arms. The food was okay and the seating was quite small.

Disrespectful service, bad food, steaks are already cut and put back on the grill, totally dry and inedible just like the pizzas.

Good restaurant with friendly and courteous staff. Very tasty pizzas and drinks. What I find to be a disadvantage, however, is the atmosphere of the room. Because an additional ceiling was added, it was very low and every square centimeter was used for chairs and tables. So you sometimes have to get up if someone from the next table wants to leave. This would be my recommendation.

Food was impeccable. Unfortunately our visit was marred when it came to paying the bill. I have been a professional service provider in various areas for over 20 years. The minimum here is a “please, thank you,… and the other basics” when dealing with customers. It's a shame when you give a tip (10% of the bill) and no thanks come from the waiter's lips. The last impression always remains. Therefore, the likelihood of another visit is more than low. It's a shame you don't feel welcome

Very tasty pizza and friendly service. We found it ideal as a small family. The ambience is typically Italian with appropriate music. The volume was also okay.

Nice place, we had pasta that was a bit too soft for our taste. Insalata Mista very good and luckily ordered without dressing 😁. Vinegar/oil perfect. Very good wine 🍷 at a reasonable price, water (bottle) much too expensive (as is unfortunately common in Germany....🙄😕). Service quick and friendly 👍 Overall recommended!

The service was very unpleasant. One waitress hinted to us several times that if we were young, we would leave without paying. The pizza was nothing interesting.

Was there last Saturday around 1 p.m. The restaurant is about a quarter full. I was able to choose a place. Found the restaurant nice. The tables were filled with not very nice paper sets. There was no salt, pepper, vinegar or oil placed on any of the tables. You had to order them if you wanted them. Ordered a side salad and penne al forno. The service was quick and the food we ordered came at a reasonable time. The salad was pretty to look at, crunchy and fresh. Just missed some color design with tomatoes, peppers, onions etc. Unfortunately it was made with too much vinegar. The penne was good, but perhaps I needed a little more spice from the spices, but that's a matter of taste.

Disappointing experience at Pampam Yesterday I had dinner at Pampam with my girlfriend - unfortunately it was a real disappointment. We got a table for two even without a reservation, but the friendliness of the staff left a lot to be desired. One lady in particular with glasses was extremely rude and seemed annoyed when I approached her. The price-performance ratio is also not good. For the above average price I would have expected better quality food. My salami pizza with garlic oil was literally swimming in oil and my hands were completely greasy afterwards. My friend's pasta Quattro Formaggi was also a failure - the cheese sauce was totally watery. The drink presentation was also disappointing: my Fanta was served in a can. I would have expected more for a restaurant in this price range. The atmosphere was fine, but the noise level was uncomfortably high. Overall, the dinner was a failure. If you're looking for good food in a friendly environment: go to Valentino in Regensburg!

I ate pizza at Pam Pam about fifteen years after the last time. I have to say that I liked the pizza a lot more than in the past... I don't know if the management, the pizza chef or something else has changed but it's better this way. The prices are (unfortunately) in line with those of all the other places in Regensburg so you might as well come here for a good pizza. The only thing that can be improved in my opinion is the quality of the mozzarella (it's obvious on the margherita). I'll be back for sure.

We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed, the pizza, pasta and fish all tasted very good! It should be emphasized that all pizzas and pasta dishes are also gluten-free!

We have been regular customers for over 40 years. We used to go there every week on Friday. The pizzeria is very nicely decorated and has lost none of its flair. We had lunch there yesterday. Pizza and pasta from the lunch menu 12 euros per dish. Pizza was very good. The pasta had a very good sauce, unfortunately the pasta was overcooked and there were too many vegetables in it. The menu definitely needs updating and looks pretty worn out. And an evening menu for a pizza at 16 euros is far too expensive for us. It's no longer the Pam pam with the quality it used to be.

We were in a hurry and were therefore served very quickly and our food came quickly and tasted very tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy and there is a large selection of food with many seasonal offers. A suggestion for improvement would be to equip all wooden benches with cushions, because without them they were quite uncomfortable, otherwise everything was great!

Food great, waitresses unmotivated and seem really listless. It took a long time until you could order, +20 minutes.

I've been going there off and on since the 80s. Still an iconic shop with 80s charm. Food (2* pizza, 1* panna cotta) ok, but the prices are already borderline. Service fits. So everyone has to decide for themselves whether the food is worth the price.

Traditional, established family business with decent Italian cuisine. The pizza comes from the wood-fired oven. But with the current prices for the pizzas you have to think twice. The gluten-free pizzas and pasta were relevant for our guests. Service could be friendlier. If you sit outside, you should take a seat that is not directly next to the cooling fan. The wine was tasty and we had a lovely evening.

We ordered 2 pizza sandwiches. These smelled and tasted unpleasant. A mixture of stale water, chemicals and old rags. After a friendly complaint, the response was mushy, rude and disrespectful. People asked why we each ate a piece if it didn't taste good. Sorry, I wanted to try my €10 pizza bread to see if it could get any better. It wasn't. Pure disappointment, especially how the complaint was received. The staff is disrespectful and unreasonable!!

Nope. The restaurant used to be widely known for its large pizzas. That was once. After eating we were repeatedly harassed to leave. There wasn't much going on that evening. I'm disappointed 😞

Fabulous Pizza restaurant in the Regensburg "Old Town" area, which I would recommend to everyone who loves a fantastic pizza. The decor is really nice and cozy, and we ordered the Gorgonzola and the Diavolo pizzas, which arrived quickly, and which we both thought were the best we had eaten anywhere. The staff are courteous, friendly and very honest also. Do yourself a favour if ever in Regensburg, and visit Pizzeria Pam Pam!! 10/10 around.

The vegetarian pizza that I ordered was very tasty. It was very generously topped and tasted great!

We ate a Gluten Free pizza, not bad, but I requested the addition of a little garlic and I got the whole jar of garlic on the pizza. One of the waitresses should be reviewed, because she lacks friendliness. And the bill seems excessive to me for 2 Diavola pizzas, 1 salad, 2 colas, 1 beer 1 water

We spontaneously got a spot outside, which was very pleasant. The service was fast, but not all service was equally cheerful and spontaneous The food was of good quality for a good price. They have many types of pizzas and pastas. The portions were quite large and very filling (lots of cheese).

Went to dinner at the Pam Pam pizzeria today. We spontaneously got a place outside. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. Great food and a very, very nice and committed waitress named Gana! She understands service!! Definitely coming back.

Food was excellent (5/5), the glutenfree pizza was really delicious, they also offer glutenfree pasta, we can especially recommend the Italian pizza and the Tiramisu. However with 31 degrees outside they had no AC on, amd we felt slightly uncomfortable inside, I have seen friendlier staff and the prices are rather high (12€ for pizza margarita)

Unfriendly service, I don't know that, today I was really disappointed. The food was good as always, but the service left a lot to be desired, extremely unfriendly waitresses, not just one, when we sat down we were greeted with the announcement that the table could only be occupied for 1 1/2 hours. We've been to PamPam a lot but we haven't experienced anything like that yet

Good pizza, but €15.00 for the Deliziosa (Prosciutto e Funghi) is definitely excessive... Quality used to be a bit better. A pity!

Pizza doesn't come close to doing the price justice. Pizza was just bad and the service was boring. Panna cotta without vanilla and with strawberry syrup, that's just not possible at that price. Ambiance very cozy.

Great and delicious stone oven pizza!

After a long time, I went to PamPam again with colleagues. Ordered Pizza PamPam, there were plenty of toppings, the taste was okay, the base was dry. Overpriced at 16.90 in my opinion, Aperol 7.00 good, service ok but room for improvement. Unfortunately it's not as great as it used to be.

Lasagne war nicht heiß geschweige denn warm, die Pizza hatte keinen Geschmack, der Rand trocken und dörr! Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und hat auf die Reklamation nicht reagiert! Schade - für so schlechtes Essen soviel Geld zu bezahlen!!! Wir werden die Pizzeria nie wieder besuchen!!!

A few days ago I had the best Margherita pizza I've had in a long time! Great quality of food and the service is also good 👍🏻

The food here is great, especially the Undico pizza. The thin, soft base, the delicious edge and the perfect sauce make them a delight. Unfortunately, the Pizza Siziliana was far too salty and the drink glass always arrived super wet and slippery, but there was always a generous slice of lemon! When I entered the restaurant I felt a bit uncomfortable because all the staff and other guests were looking at me. If you don't decide straight away what you want to eat, the staff seem to get impatient. When I ordered sparkling water, I initially received still water, and when I pointed out the mistake, they reacted rather annoyed and then reluctantly brought me the correct one. During the meal I felt like I was being watched again, but the atmosphere in the beautiful old building with stone and candles is still very pleasant and authentic. However, the music could be more Italian, rather than just Antenne Bayern. While I was still eating, my table was suddenly cleared without warning. The waitress made it clear to me that she was off work and immediately asked me to pay. Leaving the restaurant I gave it a total of 3.8 stars.

I recently visited Regensburg, after a long time. Pizza like I haven't eaten in a long time, great salad, real warm home atmosphere. And the wonderful and professional lady who served me (I think she is the owner) I recommend to everyone, if you are in Regensburg, you must visit this pizzeria

We went to this restaurant this evening and were more than disappointed. I reserved a table for four people at 6 p.m. and we waited 30 minutes for the order to be taken. In addition, the service was very unfriendly, inattentive and felt overwhelmed with everything. My friends finally got their food literally slammed onto the table after 1.5 hours and my salad, which I waited 2 hours for, didn't come at all in the end. I was constantly put off and in the end when we HAD to leave after two hours because we had to go to an event and I didn't get anything to eat, they didn't even apologize and blamed the cooks. All in all, our stay was more than unsatisfactory and we will never visit or recommend this restaurant again. It's a shame that the quality has deteriorated so much here.

Pizzeria "Pam Pam": crispy wood-fired pizza in record time 5 Stars! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pam Pam Pizzeria in my neighborhood. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a warm smell of fresh dough and roasted cheese. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I was particularly excited about the pizza, which is baked in a charcoal grill. This method of preparation gives the pizza an incomparable smoky taste and a crispy dough that is simply delicious. I ordered the "Diavola" pizza with spicy salami and pepperoni. The waiting time was less than 5 minutes, which surprised me positively. The pizza was baked perfectly, the dough was thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The taste of the pizza was simply amazing. Great. Yesterday I was in Regensburg on a business trip and came across this one, which is full of pizzerias. 3 seats at the window were still free and we were served quickly. I had the salad with buffalo mozzarella. The food was very good and our red wine was perfect. All in all great.

Really, really good pizza!!! Respect! But flatbread was old and hard as a rock! And I don't understand that because the restaurant already has wood-burning ovens for pizza... and then old serving...

One of the best pizzas in town!

It was an average experience; I was disappointed a bit; I had the impression that it will be better, because the restaurant looks cozy from the outside. I ordered the pork pizza; the pizza was thin, which is good; however, the taste was average, and I tasted better pizzas in other places. The service was barely ok; I didn't like much the way they greeted me; and the follow up was not that good also!

Locale carino, personale cortese, cibo buono!! Praticamente tutto il menù è disponibile in versione senza glutine, a prezzi più alti dell'Italia, ma tutto sommato onesti, rispetto ad altri locali qui in Germania. Noi abbiamo mangiato due piatti di pasta, di cui uno senza glutine: erano molto buoni entrambi. Consigliato!

Bei weitem nicht mehr das PamPam, was es einmal war. TK Pizza und Suppe aus der Dose, Hauptgang wird vergessen und 1 Stunde haben wir kein Personal an unserem Tisch gesehen. Das war definitiv unser letzter Besuch dort!!!
