Asia Restaurant Liu in Regensburg

Gute All you can eat ....scheffin sehr aufmerksamt und nett oft schaffe ich nicht eis zum essen weil alles lecker und vorhin hab viel gegesen :-)

Nach längerer Zeit mal wieder dort gewesen und muß sagen daß wir nicht zufrieden waren. Hatten ein Menü für 2 Personen, wobei wir beim Anblick eigentlich schon satt waren. Es schmeckte alles gleich und als ich bei der Nachspeise, statt der im Preis enthaltenen gebackenen Banane, eine Kugel Eis wollte wurde diese extra berechnet und mir auch einfach ein Kokos gebracht, weil es der Bedienung schmeckt und mir bestimmt auch, obwohl ich Vanille sagte. Ebenfalls war der Kaffee bei meinem Mann als Dessert eigentlich dabei, da er aber einen Espresso nahm, wurde dieser auch extra berechnet.

Chinesisches All-you-can-eat-Buffet. Ich war schon in einigen Restaurants dieser Art in Regensburg, und dieses hat mir bisher am besten gefallen. Leckeres Essen und eine große Auswahl. Sauber und angenehm eingerichtet.

Haben rechtzeitig angefragt. Es war für 20 Leute + reserviert. Der Service war leider sehr unfreundlich. Es sind doch fünf Leute mehr gekommen als geplant. Man hat uns genau 20plätze zur Verfügung gestellt..obwohl an Tisch nebenan Platz gewesen ist sowie am 2er Tisch gegenüber ,den man dazu stellen hätte können hat man uns dieses verweigert. Drei Personen wurden an einen anderen Tisch gesetzt. Das essen war lauwarm und extrem salzig.

Kann die negativen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen! Waren heute (Mittwoch Abend) mit Kindern dort essen, Essen war sehr lecker, der Sauber und frisch. Es war ein sehr schönes Ambiente, Auswahl war reichlich da! Nichts wurde auch nur ansatzweise leer, es wurde immer rechtzeitig nachgefüllt! Die Bedienung war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend, kann die negativen Bewertungen wirklich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen! Wir kommen gerne wieder, den Kindern hat es auch sehr gefallen!

Das Essen ist sehr fettig, die Ente war nicht knusprig sondern nur fettig und weich, insgesamt war das Essen nicht gut. Auch der Service war nicht gut. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob wir ein weiteres Getränk möchten und die Teller standen auf unserem Tisch, bis wir gegangen sind.

Wir waren gestern beim Abend Buffet & es war einfach nur TOP. Das Personal sehr freundlich & aufmerksam! Buffet sehr viel Auswahl & einfach nur lecker!

Ich war heute mit einer Reservierung für vier Personen im Restaurant, aber es war eine Katastrophe. Nach 20 Minuten Warten auf der Treppe wurden wir an die Bar geschickt, wo der Barkeeper uns genervt anfuhr, obwohl wir reserviert hatten. Das Buffet war durchgehend leer und eiskalt, wir saßen an einem Tisch direkt an der Tür, was ebenfalls eiskalt war. Jedes Mal, wenn wir etwas holen wollten, war nichts mehr da. Und unser Grillteller kam roh an. Insgesamt wirkte es, als würde das Restaurant nur darauf achten, möglichst viele Leute reinzulassen, ohne auf die Qualität oder das Wohl der Gäste zu achten. Sehr enttäuschend.

Heute beim Mittagsbuffet im Liu gelandet, da der Lieblingsasiate voll war, beim nächsten Mal bleiben wir zuhause. Der bestellte Tisch war frei, rasch jemand vom Service zur Stelle und dann ging's ans Buffet. Dort mindestens 10 Minuten Wartezeit 🙈 die Anordnung so unglücklich, dass auch alle die bereits beim Nachtisch waren in derselben Schlange anstanden. Endlich bei den warmen Speisen angekommen war die Hälfte aus, wurde auch während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Geschmacklich war zwischen den Speisen kaum ein Unterschied zu schmecken, die angegebenen Calamari definitiv mit Ersatz gefüllter Teig, kein Tintenfisch! Langer Rede kurzer Sinn, Liu das war's mit uns. Schön war, dass wir einen Tisch hatten um sich in Familie zu treffen und ein kühles Getränk dazu. Aber auch nur eines, da die Nachbestellung einfach vergessen wurde. Hierfür würde sich beim Zahlen charmant entschuldigt.

Tolles Buffet. Alles frisch. Hatten einen schönen Abend zu 4 dort. Frische Lebensmittel und sauber.

Gute Essen und schöne Atmosphäre

Ein wunderbares Lokal mit einer großen Auswahl an asiatischer Küche.

Wurden freundlich am Telefon und persönlich behandelt. Die Teller wurden immer abgeräumt. Ich habe mich immer bedankt und die Leute waren wirklich nett. Im allgemeinen war das buffet lecker. Das Sushi war trocken , war sehr schade. An allen Weintrauben hängen die Schnupfel noch dran. Das was nicht schön ist, ist der schmuddelige Eingangsbereich. So wie a dreckiger Lagerraum. Draußen schmuddelig. Toiletten sehr eklig und keine Seife. Das war sehr schade. Also da gehen wir nicht mehr hin.

Als wir gekommen sind war es ziemlich voll. Wir suchten erst einen Platz bis eine unfreundliche Bedienung und im letzten Eck einen Tisch zuwies. Das Buffet war um 12.30 ziemlich leer. Als ich vorne war musste ich mich wieder setzen und warten weil weder Reis noch Nudeln das waren. Die Suppe die ich mir dann aus erstes holte war kalt. Später war aufgefüllt aber insgesamt war das ganze nicht berauschend... War schon Mal viel besser hier.

Leider sehr unfreundlicher Service. Das Buffet wird, wenn es leer ist, teilweise bis zu 15 Minuten lang nicht nachgefüllt. Wenn man höflich nachfragt, wird man unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass es „schon wieder aufgefüllt wird“. Auch am Tisch ist der Service enttäuschend: kein Lächeln, kein „Bitte“ oder „Danke“. Teller werden einfach abgeräumt, obwohl man noch isst oder nur kurz pausiert. Leider handelt es sich dabei nicht um einen Einzelfall. Wir waren in den letzten drei Monaten drei Mal dort, und jedes Mal haben wir die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht. Es liegt also nicht an einer einzelnen Bedienung, sondern scheint ein generelles Problem im Service zu sein.

Wir sind hier regelmäßig beim Essen und es ist immer wieder super. An den Wochenende ist es ratsam zu reservieren.

Ein wirklich tolles Lokal. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet.

The food is delicious, the price for the service is acceptable, the drinks service is slower, the atmosphere in the restaurant itself is lively and loud, probably because of the Christmas parties.

The service was very poor. My 8-year-old son was forced to finish his plate, as only empty plates had to be returned.

Based on experience and considering price/performance/taste, I can highly recommend it.

Absolutely appalling rudeness!!! When paying by card... "Hey, you don't have any cash?" "No, by card please..." She then stormed off, annoyed and swearing. She came back with a card reader, card, PIN, then practically threw the receipt down and left. Good thing I'd already taken care of my tip. The food was okay for the mass-market approach, and the prices were okay too. Atmosphere: Broken washing machine, cardboard boxes, shopping carts, and other trash in the entrance area!

The food was good, acceptable for two people who had driven 1500 km. However, the service and the staff's attitude left much to be desired. They were "scanning" people at the tables to see how familiar they were with their VISA cards. We clearly need to work on how we interact with our customers.

The staff are rude, and except for one employee, she just watched us the whole time, watching what we were eating. After I ate, I felt sick, and my daughter vomited. I would never go there again.

I can't understand it; this restaurant is an absolute disaster in terms of quality and cleanliness. The quality is very poor, and I've rarely seen a restaurant like it. The dishes are unloving and tasteless. Hygiene also needs to be improved. The only good thing is the service. Friendly, for sure.

I've been to this restaurant more than three times. During the last two visits, we were treated rudely by the same employee. We paid for each person, but this employee threatened us that we would have to pay more if we didn't finish everything. She came to our table about three times and repeated these words. While we were eating, she watched us for hours—just us—and checked how much we ate and whether we finished everything. But how can you eat something if you don't like it? So the things we didn't like just stayed there. The sushi was very, very dry, and the soy sauce was way too salty—it was almost impossible to eat. Another unpleasant experience with the same employee: When paying, there was some change left over, and we said she could keep it as a tip. However, she replied that it was "ridiculous" to her. It was 30 cents—we know that's not a large amount, but such a response is disrespectful to the guests. Additionally, the lighting above our table was very dim, and the lamp constantly flickered, making our experience even more unpleasant. I'm writing this review because of the poor quality of the sushi, the overly salty sauce, the unfriendly behavior of this employee, and the unpleasant lighting at the table.

The lunch buffet offered a wide selection at a reasonable price. The seating was very comfortable. The food was always refilled. We were satisfied.

We ate here for the first time. There's a very(!) large selection, and they're constantly replenishing it. The fish, meat, and vegetables for the grill were always fresh. The fish, in particular, was full of delicious food. One point deducted for the service because, after a long wait, we had to get our plates from the grill twice ourselves—and they were lukewarm. Unfortunately, ordering drinks was a similar experience (due to a lack of service). However, I must also say that the restaurant (felt) to be packed to capacity, and the buffet was rarely, or only briefly, missing anything.

I think the cozy ambiance is very inviting. The buffet is sufficient, but the taste could have been a bit better. We've been to several Asian restaurants, and this one is a good mid-range option. The prices are decent. Parking is great.

First time trying out this buffet restaurant and very satisfied! There were a good number of crowd during the lunchtime, but we can easily get a table without any reservation. Buffet is available on Monday until Saturday for €12.50, but there's also a buffet option on Sunday for a higher price. The buffet table is amazing. There were basically any food for various taste buds: salad, sushi, wok, fried snack, kid-friendly meal (fish, fries, nuggets, etc), fruits, cakes and ice creams. We really enjoyed the meal and will come back again next time!

Highly recommended! The Asia Restaurant Liu impresses with a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes and a pleasant ambiance. The portions are generous, the taste is excellent, and the value for money is also good. Another particularly positive aspect is the fast and friendly service, which immediately makes you feel at home. Whether for lunch or dinner, everyone will find something they like here. We always enjoy coming back.

I can only recommend making a reservation on the weekend.

We went to the buffet for lunch. Unfortunately, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The sushi, frankly, tasted like it was a few days old. The other dishes also seemed anything but fresh. Overall, they were rather stale. The sauce for our meal was Metro mayonnaise from the appropriate tube. Everything was rather lackluster.

Staff were helpful. We were served the wrong food, but it was changed after we pointed it out.

Their Chinese food is great, but they don't have halal meat, so we opted for fish.

The restaurant is kind of small but it does have plenty of tables without the feeling of being overcrowded. Service was "kind of rude" but they did help when needed. Some staff members were actually very nice though. The buffet option is probably the best. Recommend if you'd visit once every 4-5 months

We celebrated a friend's birthday, everything was delicious except for the sushi. We asked the waiter to bring out a cake to congratulate us, he refused, saying that they don't have such a service🤷‍♀️

We ate at the buffet on a Thursday at 12:45 p.m. It was a huge disappointment. All the bowls were almost empty, and there were only a few refills. When we asked the manager for a discount, she became very rude. They probably don't need any guests; they won't see me again.

Ordered takeout. The wait was about 15-20 minutes, but the food was really good. It was busy, and as usual, people were circling the all-you-can-eat buffet. Fortune cookies and prawn crackers were also available. GREAT!

The Asia Restaurant Liu offers a wide selection of Asian dishes, including a buffet and a Mongolian grill. The sushi and some hot dishes were solid, but unfortunately not outstanding in terms of taste – many seemed a bit bland or too greasy. The service was friendly, but at times overwhelmed, especially when the house was full. The atmosphere is rather loud and hectic, which doesn't necessarily make for a more relaxing dining experience. The wait times at the buffet and grill could also be better managed.

Unfortunately, the service, friendliness and quality of the food have declined considerably.

We were there for lunch on Wednesday and were satisfied. There were only a few people there, the food was plentiful and tasty. It was definitely good value for money. Everything was clean and tidy. We'd be happy to come back!

We were there two days ago, very disappointed. Our favorite shrimps were stale, tough, tasteless and with some kind of unpleasant aftertaste. We come here first of all to eat shrimps))) But this time a big disappointment. Now I don't even know if we will come again, it's very disappointing

Never experienced such poor service. The waitress (the manager?) was extremely unfriendly. She practically shouted at you when you tried to order something. Some drinks were forgotten or took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The food was okay, but it wasn't refilled immediately.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant despite the open buffet. I had concerns about hygiene, as these are led in and out along the buffet. This was also not appropriate in terms of the number of dogs. Unfortunately, a return visit is out of the question for me.

Dogs are allowed in!!! Walk past buffet tables where freshly prepared dishes are served. It is absolutely unhygienic!!! I've lost my appetite. Especially at the all-you-can-eat buffet, no dogs are allowed in!!!! 5 dogs with their owners in the two hours of my stay. Really unhygienic!

The food is warm enough and tastes good. However, I'm only talking about the buffet here. For the buffet I am an absolute very good. The price per person at the buffet is around €25 plus drinks! Bon appetit!

The food was great. The atmosphere is typically Asian. Our service was super friendly. Unfortunately I have to give some deductions for the service. Because we were told on site that they are open until 2:30 p.m. but the kitchen/buffet ends at 2 p.m. We had booked for 1 p.m. 1.5 hours would have been completely sufficient, a short-term change to another restaurant was not possible, so we hurried. The chocolate fountain was switched off at 1:45 p.m. and I got something for the children a few minutes earlier. A short warning would have been nice. Replaced the ice trowel at 1:55 p.m. I just ignored that and got the kids some ice cream anyway. I almost felt displaced. To be fair, after I ignored the second time that the ladle had been replaced straight away, they finally asked us if they could close the buffet now. A little late but still. If we decide to go there again, it will be in the evening when we have enough time to feast.

My favorite Asian, as always everything freshly prepared, plenty of buffet selection. Restaurant very clean, staff friendly. I can't understand the negative reviews from guests at all.

I've been to Liu's a few times for the lunch buffet, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. If you're looking for an authentic Asian buffet, you're better off looking elsewhere. There are far too many fried foods here - everything from fries to nuggets. It can be assumed that the majority of the dishes consist of ready-made products, which does not justify the price. For comparison: If you visit Namaste for the lunch buffet, for example, you will “only” get 5-6 different Indian stews, but you will be full, enjoy great taste and overall have a significantly better, fresher and healthier dining experience. Conclusion: Anyone who values ​​quality and authentic cuisine will probably not be happy here.

Unfortunately, the buffet is no longer worth it. The food is dry, except it is floating in sauce. Even if it is freshly filled, the spring rolls etc are very dry. At the sushi buffet, the standard varieties are always the same. There are two stars for the service, which is always quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right. It used to be definitely better. It's a shame, we actually enjoyed going there to eat. On top of that, €120 for 4 people and 2 drinks each is way too much.

The buffet food was unfortunately a bit cold. Sushi was delicious. Mongolian roast beef, lots of choice, hot and incredibly tasty. Dessert: I only had two scoops of ice cream left, can't complain.

The sushi menu was as hard as it was made a long time ago, Compared to other Asian buffets, the main menu was insufficient, so the satisfaction was not good. I don't recommend it personally.

very poor customer service. The waitress delayed every time we ordered something that took longer than 15 minutes. She was very stressed and didn't care about the customer. In the end he brought the wrong bills and we had to charge for what we had consumed in the restaurant. I am very disappointed with the customer service.

The food and drinks was good and the service was good. My husband and I went there as walk in customers and and we didn't have any reservations because we just tried it there. When we arrived, it was a lot of people because it was weekend and we didn't know that they only have buffet during that time and we didn't wanna have buffet, so we asked one the staffs. if we can just order normal dish or single dish and luckily they were nice to serve us the food. The guy who assists us was very nice even though they were kinda busy because they had plenty of customers. Thank you for that.

We made a reservation, but the lady who showed us to the table wasn't interested at all. So you don't have to make a reservation at all. The next waitress came to the table and asked for drinks without us having time to choose what. And she also mentioned that we have two hours. Afterwards we should go again because it’s the next “shift”. I haven't had anything like that either. It's not possible to make such a deal for that price. It was absolutely full around 6 p.m. Huge queues, food at the buffet was quickly sold out. It wasn't a great experience, but it was a short and expensive one. No recommendation!

Wir wurden nach langer Zeit wieder genötigt abends dorthin zum Buffet zu gehen. Kantinenbetrieb. Viel zu wenig Personal. Wartezeit am Grill über 20 Minuten. Tintenfisch Ringe aus Fake Brei. 80% der Gerichte total versalzen und somit nicht schmackhaft. Lediglich die Ente war gut. Insgesamt noch mal schlechter als bei meinem letzten Besuch. Werde die nächste Einladung ausschlagen.

On February 7th, 2025 I visited the Liu Asia Restaurant. The place is nicely decorated and the food was mostly okay. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. We were charged for a drink that we specifically did not order. Even after speaking to the boss on site, we were told that we still had to pay it. Additionally, we were not treated politely, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Because of these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately no tofu. But otherwise great selection on the lunch menu.

Very tasty and inexpensive food. Great stopover!

We were there at 8 p.m. Nothing was refilled, the sushi buffet and dessert buffet were empty, and the chocolate fountain was turned off. The rest of the food was dry and had been lying around for a while, but there wasn't much left anyway. Leftovers for 1 adult plus 1 child for 52.50 euros. The restaurant saw us for the last time today. It used to be really good a few years ago, but has gotten worse over the last 2 years. The service wasn't great either, waiting forever for drinks or paying even though there wasn't much going on...

The buffet was lavish and delicious, and the price was right for Regensburg! The salad from the buffet was particularly fresh and delicious. The waiter was very accommodating and quickly cleared away the used plates. It was also regularly replenished and the food in the counters was regularly "stirred". We didn't use the Mongolian grill. Drinks were brought very quickly and overall the restaurant has a nice atmosphere!

The grill buffet is very good. The hot food needs improvement both in terms of selection and quality.

Food good. But I don't think Gorilla belongs on the menu. Species protection and so on. But everyone has to know for themselves. Otherwise everything is good. Recommended.

Already knew the restaurant from days gone by. My first address when I am in the Czech Republic. This time the fireplace was in operation in disgustingly damp and cold temperatures, which made the room cozy. Staff very friendly. Food great👍. Affordable meals.

Varied buffet with many normal dishes, sushi, fruits with chocolate fountains and ice cream. Always my pleasure. At lunchtime for €13.80 a really more than fair price!

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The service was unfriendly and it felt like something was thrown in our faces. My brother also felt sick after eating. Due to these experiences, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Very tasty there and there is enough choice too

The food is good and the decor is ok. However, the service during our visit was not exactly commendable. The staff is very inattentive, so we often had to clear our plates ourselves. The staff simply walked past it even though nothing else was being carried or done. (I could see that well.) The restaurant was a little over half full, but preparations took an extremely long time.
