Pizzeria Al Camino in Regensburg

A great pizzeria in a prime location. We received very quick and friendly service. The pizzas are large, fluffy, and very tasty. We had a Hugo with it, which was also very refreshing! I definitely recommend it!

Ordered Pizza Capriciosa No ham on the pizza, but that's it almost raw onion and capers contrary to the description on the menu. Despite notification to service, there was no response

The location is great. We sat there around 6 p.m. and the sun was just setting. It was accordingly busy, but we were lucky and got a table for 5 people. Inside, however, it was pretty empty. The prosciutto funghi pizza was delicious and you can watch the pizza maker at work. The prices are expensive, appropriate for the location. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find better pizzas in terms of value for money. The service was friendly but very rushed. What struck me as odd was the note on the menu saying that you should only pay after receiving the bill and not accept handwritten bills from the staff. On the one hand, I'm aware of this, and on the other, it seems as if the boss is warning customers about his employees. However, paying was not a problem for us.

A very nice pizzeria in a central location in Regensburg. The prices are reasonable. I had a salami pizza, which tasted very good. The pizza was quite generous. The staff is very friendly and special requests are accommodated. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A very nice cafe in a wonderful square. If the weather is nice, make pizza and beer.

1 hour waiting for the pizzas to arrive and when they do, they are stone cold Unacceptable!!

Pizza was delicious and the staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. The flair is a bit lost because both restaurants (Mexican) are merged.

I go to the Pizzeria Al Camino and have Mussels, Clams and Prawns as a Pizza 4 Cheeses to the best. Alles war super lecker! A really nice restaurant where you feel really in good hands. The food tastes simply delicious and if necessary you can even get the food wrapped up if the portion was too big. The staff is very friendly and competent, my companions and I felt completely at home.

Were there last night. Had the Regensburg burger and pizza. Burger was ok. I wouldn't order pizza there again. In my opinion, the ingredients used for the topping are not consistent with the price. To ask for prices on average of €18-22 is very surprising to me. That's why instead of 3 only 2 stars for the food. Service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the burger didn't arrive until 15 minutes after the pizza. That's why only 4 stars here. Ambiance (sat outside) is fine

We received a very friendly welcome and had a wonderful meal. The pizzas were great, crispy and appropriately topped - huge! First of all, a large, crisp salad, with a bottle of red wine, the only small negative point: a little too warm! The waiter was very friendly and attentive, so we enjoyed our last evening after a lovely week of cycling! Thank you very much! .... see you next time

The old town surcharge was to be expected but at least the burgers don't justify it. I can get a gray microwave patty for less money at American fast food restaurants. A Limoncello Spritz without the Spritz somehow fit the bill. It's a shame, but not recommended.

Good pizza 🍕 and good pasta. This Italian restaurant is right in the middle of Regensburg. That's why I ended up here. I was there as a tourist. Great 👍🏻 location. Nice places outside. Friendly staff. Good offer, the card offers a lot. There are relatively cheap lunch options. My penne al arabiata was very spicy 🌶️ and good. Bottom line: you can go. Food is good, nothing famous. Location is awesome.

Spotted when passing by and very much spoken to. Exceptionally friendly staff and really good service. Pizza came quickly and was delicious!! Also generally very clean, outside/inside and the toilets. Clear recommendation!!

We were spontaneously passing through Regensburg and walked through the old town. The restaurant is in the middle of the old town and is beautifully located. The outside spaces are also very nice. We were warmly welcomed and served by Sherif. The pizza is baked in a real stone oven. The pizza is incredibly delicious, tastes perfect! Price/performance in a great ratio! The nachos were also incredibly tasty, along with homemade guacamole. All around a perfect meal.

Very nice pizzeria centrally located in the heart of Regensburg's old town. In addition to Italian dishes, Mexican cuisine is also served. Our Italian dishes were very tasty, very large pizzas. Price performance ratio is good. Indoor and outdoor areas appeal. Sanitary facility clean. To recommend.

It used to be known and appreciated for its pizzas, but I think this has waned. Pizza dough too thick and not much toppings. My wife's risotto was very good. Bruschetta was good too. Try harder again and don't let up. Thanks

The pizza has a slightly thicker edge but is super soft and very tasty. One pizza will definitely fill you up. The shop was busy and we were still served very quickly. Respect to the girls who worked that evening. It was my first time here but it won't be the last. Thumbs up to the chefs and waitresses.

Although the food was passable, the service was very rude. The waiters gave us the impression of disturbing each of our requests and the dishes arrived quite late and not at all at the same time. I don't recommend.

Had the Texas BBQ Burger, the Patti was a bit too firm and too well done for my taste (my taste) but otherwise everything was great 👍

Am 31.12.23 Pizza Al Camino (Tomaten, Mozzarellakäse, Champions, Salami, Schinken) gegessen, dazu ein Spezi und ein Wasser getrunken. Dafür 27,40€ bezahlt. Pizza war total salzig und total überteuert. Kann das Lokal nicht mehr empfehlen (war früher mal in Ordnung). Ich werde nicht mehr kommen.

Very tasty food; both Italian and Mexican! We will definitely come back on our next visit to Regensburg.

Let's start with the only bad thing, the mozzarella that was promised on the menu wasn't real in my opinion - in my opinion it was standard grated cheese (mix). The ham was also very large but generously placed on top. The cheese thing reduced the taste a bit, but on my first visit in 2018 it was significantly better. Nevertheless, the service and offerings were good and there was a great atmosphere. Also positive was the wood stove that was available. The food and drinks were with me quickly after I ordered. Staff friendly and helpful. I think it's very good that you can watch the baker when preparing the pizza. Overall rating: 2+ I would come again and recommend it to others.

Waren am Sonntag italienisch und Montag mexikanisch essen. Beides sehr lecker, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren oft und gerne im Al Camino. Bei unserem Besuch am 10.12.23 waren auf der Karte jedoch schon im Dezember!! die Preise abgeklebt und erhöht (Prosciutto funghi auf 16 €!!) Schade, so vergrault man sich die Gäste......

Meiner Meinung nach überzogene Preise (durchschnittlich 18€ für eine Pizza) für durchschnittliches Essen. Schmeckt ok, aber wird den Preisen nicht gerecht. Ambiente und Service war gut.

Das essen war top, meine Frau und ich hatten eine Vorspeise, quesadillas cebolla (von der mexikanischen karte ) und später eine pizza ( al la rocco) und meine frau ein pasta Gericht ( Spaghetti frutti de mare) . Großes lob an den Service alle waren total freundlich, sowas ist heutzutage so selten. Top. Wir kommen wieder 👍

Pizzas sind sehr lecker. Sie sind groß und sehr gut belegt. ( sind aus dem holzofen) Top. Man konnte sogar aus dem zweiten Restaurantteil bestellen (mexikansich ). Mein freund hatte eine reispfanne, mega lecker. Wir kommen wieder. Service ist super, aufmerksam und total freundlich. 👍👍

War zu Mittag da, tri cosi diversi bestellt. Lachs war roh, calamari und Zucchini haben sehr komisch geschmeckt, so als wären sie schon schlecht geworden. Habs gleich zurückgehen lassen, weil ungenießbar. Aber hey ich durfte trotz alledem den vollen Preis bezahlen. Ich komm nie wieder. Jetzt verstehe ich auch warum der Laden immer leer ist. Bäää

Schön am Haidplatz gelegene Pizzeria. Ich kann nur die Steinofen Pizza bewerten. Diese war bei zwei Besuchen sehr gut. Klarer Pluspunkt: es wird sogar ein veganer Käseersatz angeboten.

Wir haben Ambiente, Essen und den unglaublich netten und zuvorkommenden Service so dermaßen genossen, dass wir im Rahmen unserer mehrtägigen Regensburg-Reise gleich dreimal hintereinander in dem empfehlenswerten Doppelrestaurant (die nebeneinander liegenden Mexikaner und Italiener teilen sich Küche und Personal, egal wo man sitzt - man kann aus beiden Karten wählen) eingekehrt sind. Wir haben sowohl die italienische als auch die mexikanische Küche probiert - beides war ausgesprochen lecker. Wir kommen gerne und ganz sicher wieder, lieben Dank für alles und viele Grüße aus Berlin

Sehr leckeres Essen und eine super liebe Bedingung. Das Restaurant liegt zentral und im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen.

Am 10.10.23 im Gastgarten eine Pizza gegessen, diese war wirklich köstlich nur der Getränke-Nachschub wollte so gar nicht klappen....

Mein Partner hatte eine Pizza und ich Spaghetti Vongole e Cozze und beides war unglaublich lecker! So eine riesige und leckere Pizza hatte ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen und bei meinem Teller wurde nicht an Muscheln gespart. Beides Top! Ein Babysitz gab es auch und das Gläschen wurde auf Wunsch aufgewärmt, sehr nett.

Wir waren mittags im Al camino zum Essen. Mich hat gemäß der Rezessionen auf Google der Kalmar vom Grill angelacht. Das Essen war soweit in Ordnung, jedoch hätte ich mir gerade angesichts der Preise geschmacklich etwas mehr erhofft. Der Teller hingegen war sehr schön angerichtet, der Service in Ordnung. Nicht mehr aber auch nicht weniger

Die Pizzen sind sehr lecker und immer frisch! Frische Zutaten! Wirklich lecker. Salat Nizza sehr gut, frisch und eine große Portion. Nudeln sehr gut. Service sehr nett! Aaaaber: Für die Pizza spezial 17,90 €..... Und die anderen Gerichte sind auch im oberen Preisklasse..... Tut mir leid, Qualität super, aber das ist uns echt zu teuer....

Fetele au deservit bine și au fost atente. Pizza Sicilia e prea uscata, din cașcaval are doar gorgonzola și parmezan, ar fi ma delicioasa dacă ar dauga și mozzarela care lipsea( care in meniu de fapt era menționata), din păcate nu era prosciuto pe pizza dar ceva specialitate bavareză ce nu coincide deloc, foarte dura careva si la tăiat se risipea, rucola la fel cam puțin. M-am simțit un pic prostită de asta nu mai revin. Prefer sa merg sa maninc pizza unde este prosciuto italian pe ea.

Sehr schöner Platz, sehr liebes nettes Personal , wir waren mit unserem Dackel dort unsere Maus hat sofort frisches Wasser bekommen ( vielen Dank an die herzliche Bedienung )das ganze Personal was wir draußen kennengelernt haben mega freundlich , lieb und gut gelaunt. Regensburg sehr zu empfehlen schöne saubere Stadt

Leckeres Essen aber leider schlechter Service. Die Servicekräfte kommen nur sehr selten vorbei und wir haben nachdem wir einen Tisch zugewiesen wurden über eine halbe Stunde gewartet bis jemand kam zum bestellen der Getränke. Personal wäre ausreichend anwesend gewesen für guten Service. Sehr schade da das Essen wirklich lecker war.

Schönes Restaurant in Regensburg am Haidplatz in der Altstadt. Die Pizza Caprese aus dem Holzofen absolut klasse im Geschmack. Ein Stern trotzdem Abzug, weil die Preise in der Speisekarte schon etwas gehoben sind (mit Pizza geht es erst ab 10 Euro aufwärts los bei der Margherita und bis ca. 17 Euro laut Speisekarte, meine Caprese-Pizza lag ca. 15 Euro im Preis). Service aber sehr aufmerksam und nett. Wer ein bisschen mehr Geld übrig hat, aber dennoch sehr gut essen möchte, dem kann ich dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, es wurde zügig serviert und auch diverse Sonderwünsche problemlos berücksichtigt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung, gute Qualität zu fairem Preis. Das Servicepersonal war trotz guter Auslastung freundlich und zügig.

Se si vuole mangiare una pizza napoletana il locale è perfetto. Poi la simpatia di Oliver ci ha conquistati. Torneremo di sicuro.

Wir saßen hier sehr gemütlich und konnten dem Pizzabäcker bei der Arbeit zusehen. Die Bedienung war freundlich, die Pizze und auch die anderen Essensportionen riesig und sehr gut. Witzig, dass man beim Italiener auch die Burger und Pommes Frites vom Nachbarrestaurant (Mexikaner, Cantina Peppers) bekommt. Tipp: Pizza a la Rocco, eine Kreation des dortigen Pizzabäckers Rocco.
