Rating for the restaurant We recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The service was friendly, attentive and quick – exactly as you would expect. Regardless of whether it was rump steak, pizza or pasta – everything was freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The quality of the ingredients was clear to taste and the dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. You get really great dishes at fair prices. There is even a separate area for smokers, which is not a given these days. Overall, a great restaurant with great food, good service and fair prices - we'll definitely be back!

I ate there today with my family because I think you have to eat in this shop. I would like to give it 10 stars, the food was amazing! You don't need to say anything to the waitress, they are always polite, friendly and always ready to have fun. I was even given a sample portion to try out a dish and my brother was given a portion of pepperoni because he found it so delicious. So I can recommend this restaurant with a good heart and would come here again and again. Paid €80 for 3 people, 3 main dishes, sample portion and 3 large beers, there is absolutely nothing to complain about! Keep it up!💪🏼

After over 40 years we were here again and were surprised at how good the food still tastes. We immediately felt at home and the waitresses are still as nice as ever. The only small point of criticism was... it would have been nice if the knife had been as sharp as my pizza 😉. We'll be back and it won't take another 40 years. Great pizzeria. 5 stars for everything, we were super excited. The food, staff and ambience were simply top. Prices were also completely reasonable. Coming from out of town but will go there again especially to eat.

We were there for the first time today, the waitress definitely saw us when we sat down. After we had to wait forever and there really wasn't too much going on, two tables that came after us were served first. When we got up, of course we weren't served and wanted to leave, we didn't even look at us or apologize, but just went in. I don't know if she didn't like our nose, but we've never experienced anything so cheeky. Never again :D

Went there spontaneously yesterday with a total of 4 people, were greeted in a very friendly manner and were allowed to choose our own place. We got 3 pizzas and chicken with a nice salad. The pizzas were super tasty and, above all, nice and big, the chicken was ok, a little too long the pan. I think the price-performance ratio is fine and I can only recommend it...

Great service. The quality of the food is very high with a very good price-performance ratio. Definitely a recommendation for every Italian lover.

When we went out to eat today, we actually hoped for more than we expected. Everything seemed to be fine in terms of the atmosphere and even the shop owner was doing his rounds (in a positive way). We had pasta & noodles once. If the best part of this "eating experience" was the dough that was pizza, that says a lot. The topping of the pizza was quite inharmonious and you couldn't taste the tomato sauce. Pizza was a 5/10 For the pasta: spagetti al forno The vegetables were overcooked, the cheese was quite tasteless and the "tomato cream sauce" had even less taste. I asked for salt, pepper and olive oil and even that only made it slightly better. Noodles were a 3/10 We were really surprised at what this review came from. At least the pizza has potential but apart from the location, nothing was really cool. When I asked the waiter if there was a specific story about such an extraordinary restaurant, he simply replied: "I don't know, you have to ask the boss, I don't know" It's a shame, but not as bad as already mentioned, our demands and expectations were too high. PS: The mineral water was bomb.

Ate there yesterday after about 30 years. It was like before. Exactly the same, just as delicious 😊 Unfortunately, I haven't lived in Oldenburg for a long time, which is why there was such a long time in between. The visit is worth it and will be repeated when the opportunity arises 😊

A really nice place to start the evening, whether it's pizza, pasta or a lot of other things, you'll find what you like here. There are also cocktails on offer for tour-goers, a very well-rounded concept that can definitely be recommended.👍🏻

Hat nicht wirklich meinen Geschmack getroffen. Und der Keller war nicht immer zu verstehen.

Hier kann man, m.M.n. die beste Pizza essen. Toller dünner Boden,ausreichend Belag und der Geschmack ist einfach toll. Auch die Baguettes und der Rest der Speisekarte begeistern. Schade nur, das draußen wenig Platz zum sitzen ist. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich würde gerne mehr wie 5 Sterne geben . Ich war zum ersten Mal vor fast genau 16 Jahren zum Jahrestag mit meinem Mann dort und es war mega gut . Da wir nicht ganz aus der Nähe kommen sind wir tatsächlich 16 Jahre nicht mehr da gewesen und nun wieder zwei mal in Folge . Es ist immer noch so gut wie damals und es stimmt dort einfach alles . pizza and atmosphere was generally fun and laidback, but one of the waiters made it hard for me to enjoy my meal. i asked him if it was exactly the pizza i was looking for '''the capricciosa''' but he just gawked and said it was exactly that one. found that to be a bit rude, especially when i asked which region he was from. nevertheless i had a good time and will come again.

Wir haben heute hier auf Empfehlung gegessen. Wir haben eine Vorspeise und drei Hauptgerichte bestellt. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Vorspeise erreicht uns schnell, keine drei Minuten später waren bereits die Hauptgerichte da. Das hätte man besser machen können vom Timing. Sonst war alles bestens.

Vorweg- Ambiente kann ich eig nicht bewerten, hatten uns beliefern lassen. Aber die Pizza und pizzarolls, nachos und chickenballs waren super!!! Wenn ich das nächste mal in Groningen bin werde ich wieder dort bestellen oder auch mal vor Ort essen!

Ich bin jetzt 44 Jahre alt und war schon mit 14 Jahren dort essen. Unglaublich undunverändert gut, noch immer. Und fast noch das selbe Personal. Ganz toll.

Für mich ist und bleibt es der beste Italiener in Oldenburg. Ich war in den letzten 12 Jahren sehr oft hier und das Essen ist/warcimmer gut, die Portionen mehr als ausreichend, die Mitarbeiter immer sehr freundlich und amüsant. Egal ob jetzt mit Freunden, nur mit meinem Mann oder gemeinsam mit unseren Kindern, ob drinnen oder draußen ...es ist jedes Mal ein tolles und angenehmes Erlebnis.

Seit mehr als 10 Jahren immer wieder schön dort 🥰 das essen ist fantastisch und die Bedienung immer sehr nett !

Super italienisches restaurant mit dem besten service den ich jemals gesehen habe. Einer person von unserem tisch ist eine gabel runtergefallen und keine 5 sekunden später stand ein kellner mit frischem besteck neben uns am tisch, ohne dass wir überhaupt bescheid gesagt haben. Das New York New York ist Oldenburger Kulturgut. Hier kann man für wenig Geld lecker essen gehen. Es gibt ein kleines Abteil für Raucher mit guter Luftabsaugung. Hier ist es auch während des Hochbetriebs sehr ruhig. Pizza und Pasta ist sehr empfehlenswert. Cocktails und Longdrinks werden sehr großzügig gemischt, schmecken gut und sind günstig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Mittagsangebote sind sehr günstig und reichhaltig. Die Sanitäranlagen sind ausreichend sauber. Die Inneneinrichtung ist zwar sehr in die Jahre gekommen aber das macht einen Teil des Charmes aus. Eine schöne Location um danach noch ausgelassen feiern zu gehen oder eine Kneipe zu besuchen.

I really don’t understand the “disappointment” of some of the reviewers… The pizza is relatively cheap and the taste is ok. It’s too doughy but the garlic and chili sauces are quite nice. Most importantly, this place is open late and you can even smoke inside, so it’s hardly a “restaurant”. I think some people just have too many expectations 😂 it’s just a simple and affordable place to hit after you’ve had a lot to drink.

Essen war Top super lecker und ausreichend. Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich ich werde ab jetzt jedes Mal hin wenn ich in Oldenburg bin wir wahren sehr zufrieden weiter so 👍👍👍👍

Pizzatag bis 15 Uhr. Wir kamen heute um 14.45uhr, da lässt der Chef persönlich sich soviel Zeit, dass wir erst 15.04 Uhr bestellen konnten. Ich hinterfragte noch, ob wir denn das Angebot nutzen können, da grinst er frech und sagt ne ist jetzt ja vier minuten nach. Die Pizza ist auch nicht mehr so gut wie damals. Jetzt ist nachvollziehbar warum hier selten was los ist! So vergrault man seine Kunden! Die Schuld bekommt laut Chef aber Corona und die Maßnahmen. Blödsinn! Vielleicht mal bei sich schauen? Mit Sicherheit hat es etwas geändert aber das ist nicht der Grund warum bei euch kaum noch was los ist. Damals waren wir mindestens einmal die Woche da.

Obwohl der Außenbereich unscheinbar wirkt, bietet das Restaurant eine sehr vielseitige Auswahl an Speisen. Das Mittagstischangebot war günstig und lecker. Eine positive Überraschung.

Seit meiner Jugend, d.h. seit gut 30 Jahren, besuche ich immer mal wieder das New York New York und bin vom Ambiente und der Atmosphäre begeistert. Inzwischen habe ich sogar meinen Sohn schon das New York New York gezeigt und auch er ist begeistert vom Ambiente. Leider hat die Qualität des Essens sehr stark nachgelassen. Am Wochenende waren wir mit einer größeren Gruppe, gut 20 Personen, dort. Viele hatten sich eine Pizza bestellt und hatten große Schwierigkeiten die Pizza zu schneiden. Die Messer waren total stumpf und die Pizza sehr zäh. Ich war froh, dass ich mir nur eine halbe Pizza bestellt habe. Ein Nudelgericht ging wieder zurück, weil das Essen kalt war. Im Sommer hatte ich mir eine Portion Cannelloni bestellt. Das Fleisch war sehr Sehnig und sogar Knorpel war im Fleisch. So macht das Essen nicht wirklich Spaß! Bei der Getränkebestellung ist auch etwas falsch gelaufen. Es wurde ein Alster bestellt und ein Bier gebracht. dies wurde beim Kellner auch gleich reklamiert. Daraufhin brachte man einen zweiten Bierkrug und eine Karaffe Zitronen Sprudel. Gleich am Tisch, wurde von der Bedienung aus dem Bier ein Alster gemischt. Ich hoffe, ihr findet schnellstmöglich zur alten Form zurück!

WEr dich vom rummeligen Ambiente (ist so gewollt) nicht zu sehr ablenken läßt kann hier gut und günstig Essen. Das Raten, wer das jetzt auf den bildern ist macht aber auch spaß. Die KArte ist sehr umfangreich mit Schwerpunkt auf Pizza, Rollo Baguettel

Vom Ambiente hatte ich viel gehört. Viele Sammlerstücke und Bilder in Anlehnung an die gleichnamige Mega-City (NYC). Ansonsten sehr umfassende Karte eines Americano-Italieners. Die Pizzen und die Lasagne waren okay aber nicht berauschend. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Es war an diesem Abend sehr voll - was ein gutes Zeichen ist - durch das Kellergewölbe daher aber sehr laut! Die Musik tat ihr Übriges. Ein Lokal für die zweite Chance...

Meine Schwester und ich sind spontan dort gewesen. Zu unserer Freude gab es einen Raucherbereich, in dem man auch essen konnte. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Preis günstig. Auch der Service war sehr gut und schnell. Wir werden gerne noch mal hingehen

Die Pizza schmeckt dort wirklich klasse. Der Boden ist schön knusprig. So einen tolles "Kellerrestaurant" lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Authentischer Italiener im Smerikano-Stil. Die Pizzen waren sehr groß und sehr lecker. Wir haben von dem tollen Tagesangebot profitiert, indem es eine Pizza nach Wahl inklusive Salat für nur 6,90 € gab. Diese Angebote wechseln jeden Tag, so gibt es beispielsweise auch Pasta Angebote. Bedienung war ganz normal, habe niemanden als unfreundlich oder ähnliches wahrgenommen. Die Atmosphäre ist ein bisschen wie in einem Diner, hat aber irgendwie alles zusammen gepasst.

bitte, bitte unbedingt reingehen. Das Lokal sieht von außen für meinen Geschmack nach fettigen Pommes uneinladen aus...ABER....wenn man sich dann doch die Treppe nach unten traut, traut man seinen Augen nicht. Und das Essen - sensationell...lasst Euch überraschen
