IKEA Restaurant Oldenburg in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Delicious food. The meatballs were delicious as always. Unfortunately, the usual atmosphere wasn't what you'd expect today. There was a lot of trash, including food scraps on the floor and tables. That wasn't usually the case. But otherwise, this is a great place to prepare for furniture shopping.

Unfortunately, the cheesecake was extremely watery, and other products I ordered were also defective. I won't be ordering from here again.

At 3 p.m., the line was so long that we had to wait about 20 minutes. When we finally got to the front, there was neither the vegan salmon (advertised on the screen next to the one we were standing in line, but it wasn't actually available) nor the pumpkin parsnip soup. So I had to settle for a small portion of fries (which now cost 2 euros! And I had to ask for more fries because the bowl was only half full!). My order was also initially forgotten while other meals were being served. Then it turned out that they didn't serve mayo (anymore), only a "mayo alternative" that resembled a liquid mustard dressing rather than mayonnaise. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

This review refers to the Ikea restaurant in Oldenburg, not the store, which I find extremely good in many areas. We were here with the whole family today on Friday and wanted to enjoy the Freutag special advertised on the Ikea website and on Facebook, meaning all main courses are half price. I was also looking forward to the Groensaksbullar dish for just under €4, which I had already chosen on the Ikea restaurant's website in Oldenburg. When it was our turn after a long wait in line, I asked directly for the Groensaksbullar, but the tall, dark-haired woman behind the counter said they never offer this dish in Oldenburg anyway. Then we asked about the Freutag special. The woman said Ikea Oldenburg doesn't offer that. We left very disappointed. I wonder why Ikea doesn't have a uniform policy in Germany and even advertises these specials on its website, even under the Oldenburg location. This is misleading and frustrates customers. The lady herself was subtly aggressive in her responses and did nothing to improve our restaurant experience. I'm only giving it two stars because I can sit and relax when I have a coffee here, and most of the staff are friendly.

I had lunch there for the first time today. And I was really pleasantly surprised. The food was simply delicious. Everything tasted absolutely delicious, and the price was unbeatable. I will definitely go again.

Always happy, the salad dressing tastes too sour for me, but I really like going to Ikea because I think the overall concept is great

Unfortunately, in our opinion, the food is no longer recommended. Everything was only lukewarm, the fries were old and soggy and soft. The portions small. The staff at the counter unfriendly. Only the cashier was very friendly. Still, never again!

Food okay, but the cleaning staff wear gloves just like they do when serving food. But in the restaurant, first wipe the tables, pick things up from the floor and then fiddle around in the dressing containers with the same gloves. It doesn't work at all!!! The kitchen staff takes drinks and food 5 to 10 meters away from where they are served, without washing their hands. Exchange gloves. Absolutely not possible!!!

Was there today around 6 p.m. on my break. Unfortunately an error. I ordered schnitzel with fries. Carve so small that they volunteered to give two. Yes, taste mediocre, the worst frozen schnitzel I've ever had on my plate. The fries are totally over salted. Guaranteed not again.

The food was nothing, small portions, totally overpriced. It's done for us in the future.

The breakfast is good but why so much plastic. There is another way

Smaller-than-average portions, something I've experienced in other Ikea restaurants. Very unfortunate. When I asked if this was the normal size, the waitress called the shift manager, Jürgen W. Without saying a word to me, he took the plate and put it back and simply said, "You don't have to eat here." Complaint management is a shame otherwise

We went there for breakfast, which we always find really good. Like a buffet, you choose what you want. The room is a bit impersonal, but that's probably due to the size. I can't say much about the service, you only notice it indirectly. Everything was sufficiently available, although there has recently been a bit of a shortage of grain rolls and the selection has shrunk. We find that very unfortunate. But overall: everything is good.

How can food be so bad? Absolutely nothing tasted good. Not even the drinks.

Today the food was bad. The duck leg was dry and the dumplings were bland. The red cabbage alone was ok.

Unfortunately it's no longer cheap. I didn't like the gnocchi with salmon at all. The salad was also absolutely tasteless.

Been there for dinner. Good price. The taste was also delicious. Nice view from the window. Friendly staff in the restaurant. Even had a piece of cake at 7 p.m. Gladly again for the price.

Das Essen bei Ikea heute in Oldenburg war eine Zumutung.

Es ist halt ikea. Schnelles Essen. Für mal zwischendurch .

Heute gab's Bruschetta, Milchreis mit Kirschen

Alles prima bis auf der Tatsache daß meistens eine Maschine von den getränken nicht funktioniert entweder heiße Getränke oder die kalten. In unserem Fall liefen nur zwei heiße aber keine kalten Getränke. Schade, aber das Essen war sehr gut. Und es gibt reichlich plätze

Frühstück und Mittagessen gute Auswahl, Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Es war mittags sehr voll, lange Schlange vor den Tresen. Das Personal war freundlich und flink 😁

Super leckeres Essen und so günstig

Ich hole mir hier gerne die Veggie Hot Dogs, welche günstig und lecker sind. Besonders das selber belegen gefällt mir gut.

Ein typisches IKEA restaurant, die mitarbeiter_innen sind einfach toll.

Selten so ein schlechtes essen gegessen, wir hatten Lachs und Hähnchenbrust als Hauptgang bestellt. Bei Lachs war die Soße wirklich alt und sehr Sauer gewesen, Gemüse war verkocht und grau alles hat einfach nicht geschmeckt. Die Salate waren frisch und Lecker.

Schade, dass es keine vorgestelltes Frühstück mehr gibt, jetzt ist es nicht mehr so günstig.

Man kann mittlerweile wieder sehr gut hier Frühstücken. Es hatte zwischen durch ganz schön nachgelassen,was die Auswahl anging. Ich war letzte Woche da und die Auswahl war super.

Wir mögen dieses Essen nicht . Massenabfertigung von Fertigprodukten. Ich trinke dort nur mal einen Kaffee. Aber es gibt ja genug die das Essen beurteilen können . Da ist ja Mittags immer das Treffen von Leuten ohne Geschmack

Günstig frühstücken ist vorbei. Preis wie im Cafe. Kaffee schmeckt super, Pfannkuchen und Ei waren kalt. Brötchen und Auflage so lala.

Gut für eine Pause beim Einkauf.Etwas ungünstig finde ich, dass man sich in die Schlange zur Essensausgabe (warme Speisen) einreihen muss wenn man z.B.Lachs oder Salat mit Hähnchenbrust möchte.Wir konnten uns an den Wartenden "vorbeidrängeln".

Typisches IKEA Restaurant halt,alles sehr sauber und die Auslage sieht frisch und Ansprechend aus. Preis Leistung wie immer top. Auch wenn die Portion Köttbullar ruhig größer sein könnte...so lecker 🤭...Ambiente halt eine Groß- Kantine...aber zum schön sitzen geht man da ja auch nicht hin.... Ein Besuch im Restaurant ist immer Pflicht 👍

Es geht nichts über Köttbullar von IKEA.

The drinking taps are often not fully functioning and the place can (naturally) be rather busy and loud. But the staff and food have always been nice so far :) Great waffles during breakfast times (9.30-11am, on Saturdays at least)!

Auch wenn wir schon längere Zeit nicht mehr Ikea Oldenburg waren, so hat doch leider die im IKEA Restaurant Ark nachgelassen. Dafür nur drei Sterne

Mir fehlt das abgepackte IKEA Frűhstűck. Das Buffet wird nicht immer nachgelegt. Die Tische sind dreckig, zu Corona wurde noch gereinigt.

Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Einzig die Tische und Stühle sind winzig.

Was soll man zu IKEA schon sagen? Immer ein Erlebnis. Nur die Kaffeequalität hat nachgelassen nach meinem letzten Besuch. Ausgaben beim letzten Besuch 20 €

Was soll man sagen, wer bei Ikea essen möchte weiß worauf er sich einlässt. Die Hackbällchen sind genauso wie immer...und das will man ja auch. Ein Stern Abzug da wir keine Mahlzeit heiß an den Tisch bekommen haben ( zuwenig Kassen)und drei von vier Getränkestationen außer Betrieb waren. Sonst alles prima..wie immer 😉
