Visiting Mainz. We ate two salads with turkey breast strips, feta, olives and pizza bread. The portion was okay, the 🍕 was fresh, crispy and hot. The salad would have to be seasoned better, then the meal would have received 5 stars. The service was very nice and friendly. The ambience was ok, ... right on a big street.

Best pizza in the Mainz area. Pasta is also great. Delivery service is good. You can eat on site and just park is not entirely easy.

We came across this wonderful pizzeria on our way home thanks to the great Google reviews. They were two of the best pizzas we have ever eaten. Fresh ingredients, thin base, light, airy edges and the pizzas are not too greasy. It really tasted excellent. The prices are reasonable for the fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is very modern and appealing, we felt very comfortable. 😃 The owners were very accommodating and super friendly, totally personable. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back. 😁

The Pizzeria Milano in the upper town is an insider tip for pizza lovers. Anyone who knows the taste of wood-fired pizzas doesn't need any further designation. Not only are the pizzas delicious, but so are the desserts. My recommendation: Homemade pistachio tiramisu XL. What I particularly liked and which I attach great importance to for hygiene reasons are the drinks. All drinks (Cola, Fanta, Sprite, etc.) in small glass bottles. No stale drinks from large bottles that lack carbon dioxide. The ambience is also great. I didn't take any photos because there were enough posts from other visitors. I visited the restaurant with my wife and enjoyed every minute. Will definitely be added to the list of our regular restaurants. The restaurant is run by a family who are very nice and fulfill every wish. You feel very comfortable and welcome. The decoration and furnishings show how much passion goes into it. For me, this is proof of appreciation for his customers. Clear recommendation!

Very tasty pizza from the wood-fired oven and very friendly and accommodating owners. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. When I'm in Mainz I always come here to eat pizza.

The pizzas were very tasty Unfortunately, carbonara in this restaurant is a cream sauce with a bit of cheese, not classic Italian It's not really comfortable inside the restaurant, nor is the outside area on the busy street. But sufficient for a short visit for dinner The staff is friendly, but unfortunately forgets to stop by the outside area every now and then, so we had to go in to order more drinks or dessert. I would recommend this restaurant for pick up for pizzas

First of all, I'm very picky when it comes to Pizza. The Pizza here has a rather (very) thin floor and the bottom and the border are perfectly crispy but not burnt. About the toppings I can't say much because I had a very simple one and it's very personal anyway.

Everything was clean and tidy. Service was friendly and nice. Food tasted really tasty. Sitting outside means sitting directly on a busy main road!!! If that doesn't bother you... everything's fine!

I was just at Pizzeria Milano and had a fantastic experience. The service was incredibly nice and personable. The pepperoni pizza I had there was absolutely delicious – crispy base, perfectly seasoned and plenty of toppings. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Overall, I give Pizzeria Milano 5 stars and can highly recommend it to everyone!

A really great restaurant. Today I was there for the first time with my wife and child. Simply enchanting. The atmosphere is super nice. It combines the “old traditional” Italian flair with modern times. Plus the pizza is awesome. Super super tasty and the prices are more than fair! So absolute recommendation for everyone. We will come back. And before I forget, the service and the owner are super friendly. So all in all a perfect visit. Thank you very much.

We have been to the Pizzeria Milano in Mainz several times. The pizzas were always fresh and delicious and you could taste that they came from the wood-fired oven. Price-performance ratio is very good and the employees are friendly and accommodating. After the renovation, the restaurant also looks inviting and modern. We'd love to come back.

Yesterday I watched Jurassic Park, today I was craving a prehistoric delicacy. The dinosaur pizza was just right for me. Not only does it have a cool name, it also looks like a Stegosaurus - at least to me. But unlike the extinct original, the crest on the back is made of tasty crust, and not bone plates. When I ate it, I felt like a T-Rex as I attacked the dinosaur. But enough raving about dinosaurs, now to the crust: the crust just had just the right combination of crunchy exterior and fluffiness that everyone wants but so many pizzerias can't manage. But you can get it here. Was here for the first time today and was so impressed! It was quick, the staff was super friendly and it was simply delicious - just as you want it to be.

Diavolo pizza very good Service 10/10

Milano was our favorite pizza in Mainz a few years ago. But something hasn't worked for a while. The orders take significantly longer than stated. At least 30, sometimes 180! Minutes longer. But the most annoying thing is that almost every time an ingredient is missing. That's €2 lost per ingredient every time. The taste also became bland and the pizza softer. I think today was the last time for us. What a shame, Ragazzi. I really hope you get back to your old form.

Very cozy, modern atmosphere. The owner family is very friendly. The menu offers a wide selection and my pizza ai formaggi was excellent. White wines come from Rheinhessen, red wine from Italy.

Currently our favorite pizza in Mainz. The spicy Diavolo pizza is awesome. Very well topped and really spicy (often you order a spicy pizza but don't get one). The pizza has always arrived hot and within the specified time or just above.

We always have pizza delivered, so I can't say much about the ambience (but according to the photos it looks very cozy). The delivery service is always great! Despite the fact that we have a complicated address to get to (the clubhouse), our dishes always arrive promptly and, above all, really warm. The staff is always super friendly and the food speaks for itself, otherwise we wouldn't order there again and again ;) My sports colleagues and I are definitely repeat offenders, we can only recommend pizza, pasta and also the salads here!

Pizza delicious as always - BUT: ordered at 7 p.m., delivery time 40-60 minutes according to Lieferando. After 45 minutes I called and got a message saying it would take 90 minutes - I was promised faster delivery. After almost 95 minutes I called again and they said: I had scheduled a delivery for 9 p.m. (definitely not!). The delivery finally came after 135 minutes…what a shame! I've always enjoyed ordering there, but today it was really a disaster - and being subtly accused of lying (on-schedule delivery) is not a nice feeling... at least I received the confirmation by email ASAP...

Die Pizza war zum Teil schwarz, verbrannt und ungenießbar. Der Belag war lieblos draufgeschmissen, heißt schlecht verteilt. Eine Pizza schwamm in Tomatensoße, auf einer anderen Pizza fehlte Käse. Die Pizza wurde in den Karton gedrückt, sodass sie deformiert und umgeklappt war. Nach 70 Minuten Wartezeit kam die Pizza an, vollkommen zäh. Wirklich enttäuschend!!! Und das Geld nicht wert!!!

Das Aroma des Holzoffen macht das Essen sehr besonders. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker und vor allem schnell zubereitet. Was mir besonders gut gefallen hat, es wurde nicht mit Zutaten gespart. Bei Pizzen wurden sehr gut belegt!

Die beste Pizza in Mainz und Umgebung, der holzofen macht den unterschied und beim Belag wird auch nicht gespart, komme sehr gerne wieder, vorallem der junge Herr der uns bediente war sehr nett und engagiert

Pizza war lecker. Aber leider die Falsche!

Leckere Pizza aus dem Holzofen, was man besonders am Teig merkt! Große Auswahl an verschiedenen Pizzabelägen und Variationen. MILANO hat eine eigene App. Wer über die App bestellt, bekommt 10% Rabatt.

Nicht zu überladene Karte mit insgesamt guter Zusammenstellung. Mich hat nur gewundert, dass für mich als "Hünchen Esser" nichts dabei war. Aber ich hab das bei meinem ersten Besuch möglicherweise einfach übersehen. Die Alternativen waren sur jeden Fall da. Bedienungen nett und zuvorkommend. Wartezeiten könnten etwas straffer sein, aber wo man gut isst, sitzen halt viele Leute. Preis - Leistung für die heutigen Umnstände angemessen.

Wir kamen spontan mit 6 Personen am Dienstag Abend zum Essen. Ein sehr freundlicher junger Mann hat uns bedient und gut beraten und war sehr bemüht um uns, ohne jedoch aufdringlich zu sein. Wir hatten Pizza und Pizzabrot sowie Getränke. Für die 'normale' 32-cm Pizza sollte man schon Appetit mitbringen. Ich lasse eigentlich nichts liegen, diese Pizza war mir aber zu groß. Die Jumbo ist noch ein Stück größer. Serviert wurde auf riesigen Holztellern. Die Pizza war wirklich gut. Für diese Größe und Qualität waren die Preise für Mainz Nähe Uniklinik sicherlich nicht zu hoch. Als Dankeschön gab es noch eine Portion Tiramisu mit nach Hause. Der riesige Holz-Pizzaofen ist ein Blickfang. Das Ambiente ist sicher nichts für Romantiker, aber es herrschte eine nette und entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Aufgrund der aktuellen Renovierungsarbeiten war das Behinderten-WC im Erdgeschoss gerade nicht benutzbar, aber die Toiletten im Untergeschoss. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Achtung: Keine Kartenzahlung möglich, lediglich Barzahlung.

Diese Pizzeria hat was bei IKEA online bestellt u. Bei mir im Pup abgeholt. Als Trinkgeld bekam Ich eine Pizza gratis. Diese war sehr lecker. Also diese Pizzeria ist zu empfehlen. Lg.
