Pizzeria La Fontana in Nördlingen

Wir haben 2 gegrillte Rindersteaks bestellt. Eins ohne Soße und eins mit Pilzrahmsoße. Das erste war vom Fleisch ziemlich fest, das andere zart. Das Steak, die Soße und die Pilze war geschmacklich nicht nach meinen Erwartungen, angemessen an dem Preis. Ansonsten war der Kellner freundlich, das Ambiente ansprechend. Nächstes Mal testen wir ein Pizza.

Dies ist eine Pizzeria mit einem großen Außenbereich direkt neben dem Marktbrunnen an der Kornschrannen, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Marktplatz entfernt. Geöffnet ist täglich von 10:00 bis 14:30 Uhr (Mittagessen) und von 17:30 bis 22:00 Uhr, montags und dienstags geschlossen. Wir haben hier während eines kürzlichen Aufenthalts in Nördlingen früh zu Abend gegessen und waren im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden. Der gemischte Salat war frisch und lecker. Die weiße Pizza mit Artischocken, Oliven und Champignons war gut gebacken und schmeckte einwandfrei. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zügig, die Preise angemessen für die Qualität der Speisen und die Lage des Restaurants. Alles in allem würden wir gerne wieder hier essen, wenn wir wieder in Nördlingen sind und Lust auf Pizza haben.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sie haben für uns die Leinwand an gemacht, damit wir das DFB Pokalfinale schauen konnten. Die Pizzen sind hervorragend. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Der Service ist der hammer. Sooooo schnell und super freundlich. Pizza schmeckt auch sehr gut.

Man wird von fünf (wenig beschäftigten) Kellnern einfach ignoriert. Noch nie so etwas erlebt.

Super leckere Pasta Gerichte, die auch Glutenfrei / Zölieakie geeignet erhältlich sind. Leider ist der Pizzateig von Dr.Schär und kein selbst gemachter Teig. Der Service ist hier echt top!

Ein Csmpari Sprizz für 7,30€ darf auch gerne mal Campari enthalten. Das tat er hier nur in homöopathischer Dosis. Wir haben reklamiert und etwas mehr Campari draufgeschüttet bekommen. Wo war der Prosecco? Nicht in diesem Getränk. Bezahlt haben wir gleich anschließend, dazu wurden wir auch aufgefordert. Die Lage ist zwar toll, der Rest dafür eher nicht zu empfehlen. Eir gehen definitiv nicht mehr hier hin!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise zufällig hier und die Pizza hat super geschmeckt, das Tiramisu war original italienisch und das Bier kalt und top!

Ich habe selten so einen schlechten Service erlebt. Wir wollten uns einfach entspannt draußen hinsetzen, etwas trinken und eine Pizza bestellen. Nach extrem langer Wartezeit kam endlich eine Bedienung allerdings nicht, um uns freundlich zu bedienen, sondern um uns sofort in einem unverschämten Ton anzumotzen, weil ich einen Wurstsemmel von nebenan gegessen habe. Anstatt höflich darauf hinzuweisen, wurde direkt respektlos und aggressiv reagiert. So geht man definitiv nicht mit Gästen um. Dass uns dann noch hinterhergerufen wurde, als wir gegangen sind, setzt dem Ganzen wirklich die Krone auf. Absolut unprofessionell und unangenehm. Dort werde ich garantiert nicht mehr hingehen!

Wir hatten eine Bruchetta als Vorspeise, die wir uns auch teilen wollten, daher haben wir dies auch so bestellt. Die Bruchetta kam schnell. Allerdings komplett kalt. Das Brot war knochentrocken und wirkte als käme es aus dem Kühlschrank. Der Belag war lecker. Auf Beschwerde wegen des Brotes wurde gesagt, es wäre getoastet und deshalb hart. Das mag sein, aber bestimmt nicht frisch. Noch beim Essen des ersten Stückchen Bruchetta kamen meine Tortellini. Der Kellner bemerke seinen Fehler und nahm die Nudeln wieder mit. Als wir sagten wir werden die Bruchetta nicht weiteressen, wurden unsere Hauptspeisen serviert. Die Tortellini waren in Ordnung. Die Pizza von meinem Mann war sehr dünn und übersichtlich belegt. Also sehr hart und trocken. Der Preis für die Bruchetta wurde uns erlassen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wer Nördlingen besucht, kann hier gut Essen.

Das essen war gut, die Pizza sehr lecker! Ich habe leider sehr Italienische Musik vermisst, die dem ganzen noch einen hauch "Bella Italia" gegeben hätte, was mir eindeutig gefehlt hat.

Wir waren Heute dort spontan essen und es war einfach alles super lecker und der Kellner war so sympathisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal!

Die Portionen waren großzügig und die Kellner überaus gastfreundlich. Ich habe mein Essen sehr genossen.

Es ist schon eine ganze Weile her das ich dass letzte mal hier beim Essen war, deshalb musste ich mal wieder her. Ich habe Tortellini alle Panna und Ciabatta bestellt. Die Tortellini waren sehr schmackhaft und das Ciabatta aus dem Holzofen war sehr fluffig, frisch und einfach klasse. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Den Preis für die Tortellini fand ich mit 14€ leicht überzogen, was aber nicht weiter schlimm ist. Ich kann die Pizzeria mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und war bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal hier.

Die Pizza war echt schrecklich, anscheinend benutzen sie nur 100 Gramm pro pizza, die Pizza war sehr dünn und nach 5 Minuten Hart wie Stahlbeton und noch dazu geschmacklos. Es bleibt mir ein Rätsel das ich Menschen im Restaurant sitzen und essen gesehen habe. Bestimmt waren Sie alle zum ersten mal dort. Und eine Pizza 14 Euro obwohl es nur 2 zutaten waren. Also würde ich mal sagen wenn ich eine Pizza quattro stagioni bestelle, sollte ich vorerst eine Tankstelle überfallen um es zu bezahlen.

Wir waren heute unangemeldet dort und es war zum Glück noch ein Tisch frei 🥰 Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen, der Kellner war super lustig und engagiert und das Essen war der Oberhammer! Für mich gab es als Vorspeise klassisch Bruscetta und von der Tageskarte gegrillten Lachs mit (Grill)gemüse und Salat dazu. Das perfekte Essen für zwischen die Feiertage, leicht, aber trotzdem sättigend. Ein Blick auf die Tageskarte lohnt sich, dort gibt es eine tolle, durchdachte Auswahl. Die Preise sind auch total in Ordnung. Und wer seiner Pizza beim Entstehen zusehen will, hier steht ein großartiger Holzofen direkt so, dass die Gäste dem Koch zusehen können, ein Erlebnis für Groß und Klein! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, weiter so 😊

Ein tolles Restaurant. Durch Zufall entdeckt und auch noch einen Platz bekommen zu viert. Und das trotz dem Weihnachtsmarkt, wo es überall sehr voll war. Was sollen wir sagen? Waren an dem Wochenende nicht nur einmal hier. Super freundlicher Service. Und zwar durchweg von allen. Haben uns herzlich Willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Super Tiramisu. Hausgemacht und das schmeckt man. Beim nächsten Besuch in Nördlingen kommen wir wieder.

Der Geschmack … Das Baguette ist steinhart. Die Pizza ist auch hart. Die Spaghetti sind viel zu salzig. Es ist schade. Essen ist doch das Schöne am Reisen, aber es ist so traurig.

Wir war am 26.08.2025 in diesem Lokall, ich bin schockiert über das Verhalten eines Mitarbeiters oder Managers, so ein Verhalten ist wirklich inakzeptabel, wir wurden beschimpft und beleidigt, das war meine schlimmste Erfahrung, nie wieder, das war so peinlich wie der Mitarbeiter sich aufgeregt und uns beleidigt hat. Wenn Ihr einen schönen Abend haben wollt vermeidet das Lokal.

ich war dort mit meinem vater, onkel und meiner tante. mein vater und mein onkel sind als erstes angekommen und haben bier bestellt. ich und meine tante sind nachgekommen und hatten im voraus ein eis geholt (wir wussten auch nicht dass sie eis haben), wurden aber sofort weggeschickt, da das nicht erlaubt sei. wir fanden es nicht in ordnung, haben uns beschwert, und daraufhin wurde uns gesagt, dass man das überall so macht. kartenzahlung geht übrigens auch erst ab 20€.

Das Essen war fantastisch, die Portionen sehr großzügig und es schmeckte köstlich. Die Pizzen waren ein Traum und das Bier unglaublich! Wenn Sie in Nördlingen sind, sollten Sie dort unbedingt vorbeischauen.

Wir waren heute dort zum Pizza essen,wir wollten drinnen essen,da es draußen sehr heiß war.Wir mussten vorne kurz warten,bis der Kellner kam und leider auch kein "Hallo" oder überhaupt eine Freundlichkeit hatte.Bei der Bestellung weiterhin sehr unfreundlich!Haben dann die Pizzen bekommen,aber die waren vom Geschmack her eine Null,auch sehr sehr sparsam belegt! Wir sind dann noch zum Schluss auf die Toilette gegangen und es war einfach nur dreckig!! Wären wir vor dem Essen zur Toilette gegangen,dann hätten wir niemals dort etwas gegessen! Fazit:Wir kommen nie wieder in dieses Restaurant.Und was ich heute gelernt habe,man sollte sich doch vorher die Toiletten mal anschauen,denn das sagt schon viel über ein Restaurant aus!!

Pizza-Roulette statt Speisekarte. Ich habe meine Bestellung gleich zweimal deutlich gesagt, sogar mit Nummer von der Karte. Der Kellner wiederholt sie – perfekt! Dachte ich jedenfalls. Am Tisch kam dann eine ganz andere Pizza. Als ich sagte, dass das nicht meine Bestellung ist, bekam ich die Antwort, ich hätte eine andere Nummer gesagt. Interessant – anscheinend kann man hier seine Bestellung korrekt wiederholen und bekommt trotzdem ein Überraschungsgericht. Wer gern Pizza-Roulette spielt, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ich eher nicht.

Everything was fine. The pizza could have been a bit crispier and juicier. But overall, it was perfectly fine. Fast, friendly service.

We had pizza, salmon, and pasta; everything was okay. Unfortunately, the bruschetta had no onions or garlic, and the flavor was bland. I expected something better. It wasn't Italian anymore/very Germanized, unfortunately. You go to an Italian restaurant to enjoy the delicious food with the flair... but that's a matter of opinion. The strange comments the waiter always makes are annoying. For us, they're annoying; you can't take him seriously.

It was awful- The waiter was rude till, waitresses weren't paying attention to anything we asked for, till one of us started speaking deuch and only then they changed their attitude. The tea they served was cold, they forgot one beer entirely and said they cannot do smth, that the other waiter then said they certanly can- Wouldn't go back there for the world

Always delicious! 🇮🇹🍕 We always love coming back – the food is simply perfect! Fresh, delicious, and typically Italian. The pasta and pizza are a dream. The team is super friendly, loves children, and always has a smile (and a joke) ready. Thanks a million for the delicious food – we're already looking forward to the next time!

Unfriendly manager asking guests to throw their stuff away if they want to sit.

Very disappointed, as a wheelchair user, not to be served after waiting for 20 minutes. All the other guests who arrived after us were served. We were simply given rude looks and no further attention. Very disappointed, especially in this day and age.

Great place, friendly service. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't great. Overall, it was too expensive. A shame.

Great restaurant … For those Italian moments

No allergens are listed on the menu. When we asked whether the Mexican pizza was vegan (the menu said "no cheese"), two servers were unable to provide any information. As a pizzeria that apparently makes its own dough, how can they possibly provide information about what's in the dough? Actually, every restaurant is required to label allergens or provide them upon request. The bottom line was that we couldn't be assured that the pizza dough was vegan. Our request was generally not taken seriously, and we were more likely to be ridiculed. Very unprofessional behavior.

We took 5 minutes to look through the menu, I ran after our 2 years old daughter at the fountain and my husband asked the waiter to wait one more minute to order. As a reply, the waiter used a very aggressive tone that we can't stay half hour without ordering. It seem they have no idea what customers satisfaction is or that they don't care about ite.

After five minutes we were told that we had to order now or leave the table.

Full marks. The food, service and location were excellent.

First, it took a long time before the staff brought us the menu. Guests who arrived after us had already been served. Then my boyfriend received a pizza that was supposed to be extra spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all. I was served a pizza that had a baked-in bug. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was told it was a bug from the wood used in the pizza oven and that it was nothing to worry about. I didn’t think it was acceptable and didn’t want to continue eating the pizza. Without an apology or asking me first, the staff ordered a new pizza for me. We didn’t receive cutlery with either pizza—we had to take it from nearby tables ourselves. The taste of the pizza was average.

An unfriendly waiter didn't even give us an answer to our question as to whether the table was free and only pointed to two other guests who were changing tables. Nowadays you can happily do without a restaurant like this until the next tenant tries his luck with friendlier staff.

Great restaurant in the old town of Nördlingen. The service is very friendly and helpful. The ambience inside and outside (when the weather is nice) is very appealing. Can only recommend this restaurant.

Very bad service. Pizza was served half an hour later after everyone had eaten. For me, very poor service and the pasta dish was simply not edible.

Food: Ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes Pasta dishes came after just 5 minutes, which doesn't exactly sound like they were freshly cooked The pizzas arrived about 5 minutes later - it should be possible to serve them at the same time. The noodles weren't really cooked through and didn't taste great either Pizzas were rather sparsely topped and the dough had a very floury taste. A cocktail that was ordered had to be paid for immediately separately under “Delivery” because it was delivered from the neighboring café. Service: The blonde waitress apparently only does her job to make money. During the meal, the barmaid stood behind the counter and two waitresses in front of it and watched you eat - yes, our table was next to the pizza oven and the counter - but the feeling of being constantly watched... Plates were taken from the table without asking whether it was tasty etc. When we said goodbye, we didn't ask if we liked it and we didn't receive a good evening either - in the dictionary, unfriendliness should be noted with the name La Fontana. Conclusion: Can't understand the 4.1 stars Food bad Service bad No recommendation from us

Really bad!!! Service: none at all! In the middle of taking the order, the blonde waitress simply walked from the table to the checkout area, came back without an apology and took everything again. Cocktail came from a neighboring café/bar and had to be paid for immediately. Food: underground. 2 people ordered pasta dishes that came very quickly - a little too quickly, the noodles were more than al dente. Much later the 2 pizzas came. Very clear surface, very wide dry edge. Taste zero. Plates were cleared without asking for satisfaction. Money was collected. No “thank you”, no “have a nice evening”. Without words and the money was given away. The location is actually great, but unfortunately sadly misplaced with this business idea. Hui on the outside, yuck on the inside.

Staff extremely friendly, especially to our 2-year-old son. Great location and nice ambience. Personally, the pizza wasn’t my cup of tea, so “only” stars. However, pasta was very tasty.

A nice restaurant. I would recommend Pizza Pepperoni here and the service was very hospitable. Tiramisu is also recommended.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because the order was canceled. The waitress didn't really feel like serving us, it wasn't a good day, when we ordered the lady got bitchy and just walked away. As a customer you should be treated better.

The older blonde waitress had absolutely no desire to serve us, waved us off several times, no greeting, very unfriendly and rude.

Ich habe mir die Bewertungen vorher durchgelesen. Ich bin schon erstaunt, wie sich Personal und Essen innerhalb von scheinbar 2 Tagen ändern können. Wir hatten wohl einer der besten Pizzen die es in der Region gibt. Die Preise sind wohl auch gefallen, da sich die Preise nicht großartig von den Preisen der Region unterscheiden. Wir haben knapp über 50 € bezahlt und haben gut gegessen und getrunken. Die Bedienungen waren nicht nur freundlich, sondern haben jeden Spaß mitgemacht. Es kommt halt darauf an wie man mit dem Menschen umgeht. Für das bezahlte Geld erhält man halt keine Leibeigenen.

Super friendly and very helpful staff. When my friend suddenly became very unwell, everyone took care of her immediately and we were immediately driven to the clinic by one of the employees, as it couldn't be ruled out that it could be a stroke and the emergency services said we should take a taxi. Thank you so much for your loving care. After a 3-day stay in the clinic, we were there today to say thank you and were invited for a cappuccino. If only everyone were so helpful. Many many thanks

I cannot thank you enough for your kindness when I took ill on Sunday evening. Our waiter called the ambulance service and never left my side and the waitress actually dropped all she was doing and drove me to the hospital. Today when I returned to thank her we were invited from the waiter to stay for a cappuccino. I shall definitely return and look forward to a great service and delicious meal. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

We sat outside for dinner on July 23rd, 2024 and ordered Insalata Rustica and pizza bread as a starter and 2 pasta dishes as a main course. The starter was served in a very short time, the main course was apparently forgotten. When we pointed this out after about 3/4 of an hour, the bill was presented to us with the note that we had to "call up" the pasta dishes. No apology, rather accusations and arrogant behavior from the waiter ended a disappointing visit to the restaurant. We have never given a negative review, mistakes can happen, but this customer-unfriendly behavior should be shown and evaluated.

Food was delicious, special requests were fulfilled without any problem. Friendly service, attentive, approachable and not rushed. Magnificent location. Gladly again.

My opinion is that ready-made bases are used for the pizza.

The prices are insane. It would also be cheaper. There's actually nothing on the pizza and the arugula is just old. A glass of Spezi for €3.80. Ober preferred watching football. Well, I don't have to go there anymore.

Das Bier war nicht kalt, die Pizza leider verwürzt und ungenießbar. Nach meiner Reklamation, kam eine sehr unfreundliche und arogante Reaktion der Bedienung. Ich habe eine Neue Pizza bekommen die dann OK war. aber für diesen doch sehr hohen Preis und den tollen Holz Pizzaofen leider nicht angemessen. Wir werden den Laden nicht mehr betreten.

The guest is treated very friendly and courteously here. The Capricciosa salad is highly recommended. The pizzas are baked directly in the oven, which can be seen in the restaurant. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

A great pizzeria. A must for everyone traveling in Nördlingen. A warm/fun welcome, you are greeted in a friendly manner and jokes are made with you. All waiters are in a good mood and enjoy their work. The food is simply delicious and fresh. We'll be back 😊

Service disappointing, pizza unimpressive, comparable to frozen pizza. We asked a normal question about a dish and were shut down with the sentence: “I’m too busy right now”. We had to put pizza at our place ourselves. Man with glasses and bald head is all I say.

The older waiter with the glasses and the bald head was very unfriendly, but the two young waitresses were very nice. My pizza was okay, but my friends' pizza was very tasteless.

Very tasty pizza and the opportunity to sit outside. The pizza is available gluten-free for an additional charge, even without pre-ordering. It was busy, so our drink didn't come until after our meal - which was a bit of a shame. We'd love to come back!

Umgebung zwar schön aber sehr voll und aufeinander. Essen schmeckt gut. Der espresso war sehr enttäuschend, sehr wenig in der Tasse drin. Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich. Was jedoch schade ist das zubereitet wird von einer Dame mit offene Haaren und mit Straßenkleidung.... nicht so hygienisch mitanzusehen. Sonst alles top.

Wir haben eine Pizza geteilt und ohne uns darüber aufzuklären wurden uns 1,50€ für den Extra Teller abgerechnet. Wir haben zusätzlich noch einiges konsumiert daher find ich es wirklich eine Frechheit. Zumindest sagen sollte man es.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Ambiente passt perfekt zum Essen. Es ist rustikal eingerichtet und es passt perfekt zusammen. Wir waren schon öfter hier essen und es ist jedesmal köstlich!

Interessante Lokalität. Pizza gut Nudelgerichte eher wie fertigsoßen. Die Vorspeise gebratene Artischocke war sehr gut.

We recently visited this restaurant for dinner as part of our recent holiday to Germany. We were very pleased with the service and high quality of the food on offer which was very authentic and fresh. We would definitely return when next visiting family in Germany. Highly recommend.

Hmm, Spaghetti aglio peporoncini bestellt. Sollten eigentlich etwas würziger sein. Aber irgendwie kam der Knoblauch nicht wirklich geschmacklich heraus, geschweige den die Peperoni. Den beworbenen Pamesan konnte man mit der Lupe bestimmt erkennen, aber geschmacklich nicht wirklich ausmachen. Vielmehr hätte dieses Gericht noch etwas mehr Salz benötigt. Dabei bin ich eine Person, die gerne auf Salz verzichtet.
