January 2025 We spent the weekend in Aachen and decided on this restaurant after the city tour. As soon as you enter, you notice the ambience of the restaurant, and the vault also exudes an interesting atmosphere. The rattan wooden chairs are not particularly comfortable and may not suit everyone's taste, but stylistically they fit the rustic atmosphere of the restaurant. The furnishings are overall in the same style – rustic and simple. We were sitting in the counter area and our table was wobbling due to the uneven floor, which was quite annoying when eating later. Now about the food: the portions were quite generous, which made us feel satisfied. Unfortunately the taste couldn't quite keep up. Overall there was a lack of “spice” and a certain “power”, that one would hope for from such a dish. A positive point to note is that there was a generous amount of pizza rolls (they were very tasty) for free with the pasta dishes, which is not a given at every restaurant. The prices in this restaurant are more than fair, which considering the generous portions and the free side dish with the pasta dishes is definitely positive. So it's a good price-performance ratio, even if the culinary experience still has room for improvement in terms of taste. CONCLUSION: Overall it can be said, that the restaurant impresses with its special atmosphere and fair prices, but the finer work on both the furnishings and the courts could still be worked on. Anyone who appreciates a rustic atmosphere and affordable prices is definitely in good hands here!

In my opinion the best Italian in Aachen, just in terms of price/performance ratio. Spaghetti and pizza dishes are simply great and highly recommended.

I've been a regular customer for 30 years. Perfect in every way every time, except when the chef was on vacation. Huge selection on the menu, but every dish is perfect every time and comes quickly and hot. Pizza rolls are a must beforehand :-) The waiter Alessandro is my absolute favorite waiter, great guy! The only thing I would like to see is a larger selection of drinks.

I really enjoyed the service and the classic vibes I really highly recommend it for a date night but I didn’t like the their pasta a lot the sauce was more water than the sauce taste…

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe zum Abendessen in dieser Pizzeria. Das Ambiente im Keller ist sehr schön. Nach Möglichkeiten daher unten reservieren. Dann aber nicht wundern, hier gibt es keinen Handyempfang und kein Wlan. Für "digital Detox" daher wie gemacht. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Beim Essen hatten wir leider unterschiedliche Erfahrungen. Die Lasagne war qualitiativ ein Reinfall. Sehr wässrig, kein Geschmack, keine Bechamelsoße und an manchen Stellen sehr verbrannt. Wahrscheinlich wird diese tiefgefrohren in den Ofen geschoben. Die Champignons ?! liefern vermutlich noch zusätzliches Wasser. Geschmacklich daher eine Nullnummer. Die Pizza hingegen war sehr lecker. Dünner Boden, sehr knusprig und nicht verbrannt. Für meinen Geschmack, hätte es etwas mehr Belag sein können, aber ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen. Preislich völlig in Ordnung.

The experience in this pizzeria was not positive, the food served is not the best one expects and the service has many shortcomings, the boy who served was very distracted and inexperienced, he bumped into several customers while transporting the dishes and did not notice the absence of cutlery on the table, they were brought after 10 minutes and after asking several times.... Result we ate the cold pizza. Inaccurate cleaning of the place and neglected toilets. Only the name is Italian, the dishes could improve considerably. First and only time in this place.

die älteste aachener pizzeria, mitten im angesagten pontviertel. nach langer zeit mit der ganzen familie dagewesen ... und es war genauso lecker wie immer. hervorragende pizzen mit dünnem boden und ausreichendem belag; zum individuellen nachwürzen gab es knoblauch- und chiliöl. sehr günstiges preis-/leistungsverhältnis und sehr freundlicher service. kölsch leider nur aus der flasche.

Rarely have I had such a miserable meal. Lasagna unseasoned, covered with tasteless tomato sauce, served on a steel pan. The Paradiso pizza with tuna looked disastrous with the orange tomato sauce or whatever that was supposed to be. Cola and Fanta were stale. You should definitely check the invoice, incorrect prices are being given. When paying by credit card, no receipt is given because supposedly no copy is made when paying contactless.

Eenvoudig italiaans restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Gelegen in het bruisende Studentenviertel. Op de kaart geen spannende zaken. Eten was lekker op smaak en de rode huiswijn goed op dronk. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön - typisch italienisch rustikal. Es gibt auch ein Aquarium. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war leider eher fad. Wir hatten eine Pizza mit Brokkoli (kaum gewürzt, wenig Geschmack), gratinierte Meeresfrüchte (sehr viel Käse, wenig Geschmack) und Spaghetti Bolognese (normal lecker). Mit kleineren Kindern vermutlich gut, da sie wenig würze mögen.

The checkered tablecloth and the rustic decoration take you straight to a small pizzeria in southern Italy. The proximity to the cathedral gives the whole thing a special atmosphere and you really feel like you are in a hidden gem in the middle of the city. As far as the service is concerned, I can only rave. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made our evening an unforgettable experience. Overall, I can fully recommend La Finestra. Whether you're planning a romantic evening for two or want to have something delicious to eat with friends, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Medium quality food and demotivated stuff. The only Italian thing here is probably the car of the owner. Don't try anything with mushrooms. I am pretty sure they use canned ones and they have a soft squishy texture. The pizza is the typical Imbiss quality you get from almost all other places at pontstrasse. A bit expensive for what they offer. It isn't worth a visit.

Used to go here because of the real carbonara. Now it's just pasta with a little bit of cream and cooked ham. Had parmigiana, just some aubergine and a little bit of tomato sauce, no extra flavors or herbs...

Ich hatte eine Tomatensuppe. Diese war geschmacklich absolut enttäuschend. Einfach lieblos zubereitet. Die Nudeln für 2 Personen standen der Vorspeise in nichts nach. Am Besten waren bei diesem Gericht noch die Tortellini mit der Sahnesauce. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat uns einen Espresso und einmal Tiramisu kostenlos zukommen lassen. Das Tiramisu war dabei sehr lecker.

Veel moeite gedaan om een reservering te plaatsen ivm de kerst periode....bij aankomst werd niet eens naar onze naam gevraagd en werden we mee genomen naar de kelder, kijk maar waar je gaat zitten?! Zoek maar een tafel uit. Bediening uiterst onvriendelijk en opgejaagd. Eten matig....prijs is er ook naar. Jammer!!! Jaren lang als kind en later met partner met plezier gaan eten maar na de corona is het niet meer wat het was. De vaste klanten zitten boven en krijgen alle aandacht en je wordt in een achteraf plekje geplaatst en ziet een uur helemaal geen personeel Toiletten zijn hetzelfde als 25 jaar geleden en mogen wel eens netjes gemaakt worden. Jammer van deze mooie zaak, wij kiezen voortaan voor een ander restaurant

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen war ziemlich miserabel. Spaghetti carbonara haben einfach nur nach Butternudeln geschmeckt und die Lasagne nach nichts. Bedienung war auch relativ unfreundlich und zerstreut. Die Tische waren dreckig und nicht einheitlich dekoriert. Der Keller an sich ist sehr schön, man könnte ihn viel schöner herrichten. War das Geld definitiv nicht wert, auch wenn es verhältnismäßig günstig war.

Wir haben über Uber Eats bestellt und das Essen kam super schnell (ungefähr 25 Minuten) an. Zu unserer Überraschung waren die zwei Pizzen und die Nudeln schon total kalt! Haben wir so schlecht noch nie geliefert bekommen! Aachen hat deutlich bessere Pizzerien (72h Pizza, Vabene, Ofra).

Eine Pizza, wie ich sie schon lange nicht mehr gegessen habe. Kommt dem Geschmack einer Pizza in Florenz sehr sehr nahe. Einfach traumhaft gut. Der Service war um das Wohl sehr bemüht und aufmerksam. Da gibt's nichts auszusetzen. Eine klare Empfehlung

Perfekt italienisch. Habe bis heute die beste Champignon Pizza dort gegessen. Man sieht wie alles vorbereitet wird, was ich sehr wichtig finde. Nur zu empfehlen.

Es war eine Katastrophe… Ich mache normalerweise nie Bewertungen aber hier fühle ich mich gezwungen, weil es so schrecklich war…. 1. Beim Eintritt in das Restaurant, wurden wir nicht mal empfangen.. der Kellner hat uns nur angeschaut und das wars. Wir mussten uns aufmerksam machen dass wir da sind und reserviert haben. Daraufhin wurde uns in barschem Ton gesagt: „dann müssen sie runter gehen“!! 2. Der Gewölbekeller ist sehr schön, da kann man nichts schlechtes sagen. Die Bestellung der Getränke und Speisen wurde zügig aufgenommen.. aber hier war null Organisation.. wir wurden 2x von 2 verschieden Personen gefragt… 3. Es dauerte sehr lange bis wir Brot bekamen… und auch die Vorspeise kam spät. (45 Min). Die Suppen waren gut, aber so lange warten zu müssen naja. 4. Meine Mutter wollte als Hauptgericht den Salm…. stand auf der Karte, hatten sie aber nicht. Den Zanderfilet auch nicht. Naja dann hat sie eben die Pasta mit Scampis genommen, die nicht mal gut waren…Die Pizza Funghi war gut. 5. Der Service war so schlecht… ich war schon in sehr vielen Restaurants und so was habe ich noch nie erlebt… man wird nicht mal angeschaut, wenn die Speisen gebracht oder abgeräumt werden!!!! Und Kellner die durch den Raum laufen.. ist ein No Go!!! Auf der Damentoilette war nicht mal Toilettenpapier…. Ich habe noch nie kein Trinkgeld gegeben.. aber wie man so schön sagt; es gibt für alles ein erstes Mal. Einmal und nie wieder. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Mein Sechzigster im Gewölbekeller war ungemütlich!!! Und die flotte, temperamentvolle Bedienung eine Sensation in Sachen Service und Kundenorientierung! La Finestra ist eine absolute und in jeder Weise geschmackvolle Bereicherung für Aachen!

Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort essen. Die Pizza war lecker aber es war sehr laut und hektisch . Die männliche Bedienung war sehr nett wurde aber ständig von einer weiblichen Bedienung (vielleicht Inhaberin) blöd angemacht . Es ging irgendwie ums abkassieren und da fehlte wohl Geld . Sorry wenn ich wo essen gehe möchte ich so einen Streit nicht erleben. Die Frau war vom Ton her sehr unangenehm!! Das war sehr unprofessionell 🫣

Seit mehreren Jahrzehnten immer gleichbleibende sehr gute Qualität. Freundlichste Servicekräfte in der Stadt. Weiter so.

Ein sehr gemütlicher Ort, um gut und schnell italienische Speisen zu genießen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr urig. Das Essen wird schnell serviert. Ein tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis hat die Mittagskarte. Wirklich gute Gerichte zu einem günstigen Preis.

11 von 10!! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und das Essen super. Wir waren mit 9 Leuten zu Gast. Untergebracht wurden wir im Gewölbekeller, welcher eine wunderbare Akustik aufwies und schlicht aber ausreichend dekoriert war. Definitiv empfehlenswert!

Nette Bewirtung und eine super Pizza

Het eten was dik in orde, de pizza en pasta waren prima. Echter de sfeer was ver te zoeken. We hadden online gereserveerd, maar omdat we toch iets eerder wilden komen hebben we daarvoor gebeld. Kregen we te horen dat ze eigenlijk vol zitten en niet aan reserveringen doen.... uiteindelijk hebben we toch een plekje gekregen. Konden we alles binnen 50 min naar binnen werken. Van de ene kant werd er dus toch wel moeite gedaan, maar gezellig is het dan niet meer.

Liefern eiskalte Pizza via Lieferando. Geht gar nicht!!! Vermutlich ist der Fahrer rumgeirrt und die Pizza wurde dadurch kalt oder die Kühltaschen von Lieferando sind Schrott. Darüber hinaus...wurde die Pizza nicht geliefert wie bestellt. Statt Büffelmozzarella..wurde eine Burrata Kugel auf die Mitte platziert....Voll Katastrophe für ein solches Restaurant.

Sehr leckeres essen! Haben eine Pizza Funghi und Rigatoni Bolognese bestellt und es war sehr gut. Der Service war auch gut und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr sympathisch. Nur zum empfehlen

Essen, Service und Ambiente sind super. Wir haben unten einen Tisch bekommen, leider waren weder die Tische noch der Boden vom Vorabend gereinigt, die Tische wurden dann halbherzig schnell "abgewischt".

Der beste Italiener bei dem ich je war, und gerade bei den Preisen einfach unschlagbar. Die hausgemachte Pasta ist ein muss. Seitdem ich Vegetarier geworden bin finde ich die Auswahl ein bisschen einschränkend, aber es gibt schon genug.

Die Pizza (zum ersten Mal eine ganze komplett geschafft) war arm belegt, der Teig war lecker und die Portion Nudeln geschmacklich auch ok, doch nichts für großen Hunger, ohne den extra bestellten Beilagensalat wäre man nicht gesättigt, es fehlte m.M.n. Brot zum überbackenen Gericht zum tunken für die Sauce. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ok.

Draußen war es lebhaft, gilt aber nicht als Kritik, es führt halt eine Straße vorbei, und der ein oder andere Hansel muss sich schon mal mit seiner Karre präsentieren. Gestern haben wir mit 4 Personen hier gegessen. Es waren Pizzen nach orginal italienischer Rezeptur und so haben sie auch gemundet. Schön das es noch sowas gibt.Leider haben wir im Eingangsbereich gesessen und daher ist mir das Ambiente sehr laut vorgekommen. Das heißt für mich beim nächsten mal lieber weiter durch zu gehen, wenn mann sich als Gast beim essen auch gut unterhalten will.

Einer der Geheimtipps auf der Pontstraße! Die Pizza ist richtig gut aber es ist nie wirklich voll. Die Einrichtung wirkt etwas altbacken aber das ist eigentlich ganz nett zwischen den ganzen stylishen anderen Läden.

We visited this place for dinner and felt extremely uncomfortable being there. We were not German and the waiter was very aggressive with us since we stepped in. When we told him we don’t speak German he became even more angry with us and the table next to us looked at him like why the hek is he treating them like that. In short, we got a side of poor attitude with our pizzas which tasted nothing short of terrible. We order the burrata pizza and the vegetarian pizza. The pizza dough was not bad, but the toppings lacked proper harmony as an overall plate as the toppings felt inconsistent with each other. For example, we had broccoli on our pizza with artichokes and aubergines, which were a very bad combination that led to an overall tasteless dish. Not to mention very small amounts of sauce. One more thing, when we first entered they told us you can only order pizza and nothing else from the menu which is pretty disappointing. Overall, dont get fooled by the high rating, its not worth your time, money, or tastebuds.
