Instead of the stated 35 - 45 minutes, we waited a "full" 2.5 HOURS for delivery via Lieferando. There was no advance warning whatsoever, let alone a response to an email from me asking whether there would be any accommodation. It's a shame because the food is really tasty.

Food was delicious, always possible!!! The glass cube itself is also mega. Few negative aspects such as staff / tables not wiped etc. but you can ignore it. Come again.

A great looking building with quite a few floors and plenty of seating, plus outdoor seating too. Seats on the upper floors offer nice views of the town centre. I ordered on the kiosk, which was easy enough to do. The receipt assigns a random name to you, which is the name that they call out when your food is ready. I found this to be odd. Why don't they just give you an order number and call that out instead?? My order was ready fairly quickly, and it was pretty tasty. I preferred the dessert more than the chilli cheese fries, but would be happy to try other items on their menu. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely return.

Always a french fry festival! Delicious poutines are the best way to enjoy fries. The store also looks super modern, with glass all around and creative sayings everywhere. Definitely worth a visit.

The receptionist was nice, the food rather cold, the coke expensive and there wasn't a glass available, no napkin, no salt served with the pommes. Second time in ten years a guest, and I won't repeat it.

The food has always been delicious and I've been there 100 times, probably really nice 100 times. The staff is always friendly, especially the manager of the store is friendly, competent and the heart of the store. You'll always be full and the churros aren't bad either!

Ate "Montreal" yesterday (around 5:30 p.m.). Yesterday, as soon as I was eating, I noticed something was wrong with the food. The sauce didn't taste fresh. Radishes no longer looked good. Had nausea and stomach pain all evening. Luckily my little son didn't eat it.

The building contrasts very beautifully with the buildings in the area. Close to the center and the food is good.

Sehr leckere Fritten mit ebenso leckeren Beilagen. Schnelle Bedienung. Das Ambiente verleitet zum verweilen. Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man draußen sehr schön. Das ganze macht einen sehr nachhaltigen Eindruck durch das durchdachte Konzept zur Plastikmüll Vermeidung. Probiert es mal aus.

Very friendly and very nice staff. The fries are super tasty and a hit. Just as much and an exceptional selection of dishes. The garlic fries are also highly recommended. There is definitely something for those special tastes

It's a bit annoying that you have to stand at the checkout because the orders are always called out and not brought to the table, but otherwise I think everything is very nice. Personally, I didn't find the shwarma fries particularly tasty, but the prices are very great and a portion always fills you well.👍🏻

After the service was subpar last time, it happened again yesterday. I was able to see before my eyes how an employee was shouted at by the manager of this place. This same leader had previously reprimanded my wife in front of the children (the children had Happymeal with them) while I was ordering food downstairs. The way he did it is neither customer friendly nor humane. From now on we will give this shop a wide berth.

Lokal trendy und gut gemacht. Toiletten Herren unterirdisch. Müll häufte sich , zwei mit Urin überfüllte Pissoirs. Essen ist eine Zumutung! Nicht gut gebackene Pommes treffen auf Gepampe was seinesgleichen sucht. Die Currywurst Variante war grade so genissbar, obwohl die Wurst jeden Berliner beleidigen würde . Die Variante Chili Chees mussten wir entsorgen!

Delicious fries. You can order with many additions. I chose with olive oil and garlic. I highly recommend. I was very charmed by the order number, which was a random name. Great solution for tourists. Great service in English. Very fast service, we waited only 5 minutes. The place is super decorated with an idea. Even though McDonald's is right next "door", I chose this place again and again.

This is a small but charming restaurant. The fries are delicious, and I ordered the “Istanbul Street” dish. The sauces were fantastic. There’s also a self-service machine for placing orders. I highly recommend it, especially for visitors from abroad.

Super good and the food fills you up. Remember the password when ordering. Preparation is quick and easy. Because you need your password when handing out food. The food was delicious and we were full afterwards. Ambience was good, but very crowded.

We are under 70 and clearly not the target group. Machine ordering is still possible. But picking up the order is pure chaos as is picking up the garbage and the tray. The garlic fries were rotten, soft and lukewarm, and the look showed that too. There's no comparison with Belgian fries and even the fries in Berlin for €1 are way better. It's better not to remember it and keep driving.

Somehow worse than I remembered, and for the absolutely mediocre food it's just too expensive for me now.

The service is an absolute disgrace. I've never been treated so antisocially. If I had a little more free time, I would take legal action against this.

I was excited to try their Poutine, but I was disappointed after the first bite. The fries were not at all crispy, they were soggy right away and also undercooked, I didn't even eat some of them. The pulled pork on top was ok, as was the service, which was extremely fast... But for a place that specialises in fries, it definitely didn't live up to its name.

Few guests and fast food. Unfortunately the fries weren't cooked through. The feedback from the employees was that it always took the same amount of time to prepare something. No apology came from his lips. Dealing professionally with customers looks different. We definitely won't eat any more.

Nice service, enough seats. However, I would have liked crispy fries. Mine were topped with coleslaw and mushy pulled pork. It wasn't really a hit in terms of taste.

I always enjoyed going to Frittenwerk, delicious and varied food with vegan dishes. Unfortunately, things are changing more and more for the worse since the bolo fries were abolished. Always great in taste, but today there are many defects. I ordered an XL portion of the Istanbul Street Fried, but it was almost smaller than my companion's normal portion of the Tijuana Street Fries. That doesn't work at all, the only reaction was that it was served in the larger bowl and therefore looked smaller... as if the same portion were simply made in a larger bowl, which is a shame, and then there was the long, long wait of about 20 minutes because Nothing worked at all, I've never experienced that here before

Four of us (2ERW 2K) were here during the September special. The store is very clean, the outdoor seating is quite comfortable and there are plenty of seating areas available. The staff is very friendly. At first glance the prices seem quite high, but when you have the fries on the table in front of you at the end, they are quite enormous, complex portions. A clear recommendation from us, we will be back :-)

The staff is great and atmosphere is great as well. The food however, I expected better fries, they were loaded which was great, but it became soggy very quickly. I also ordered churros with pistachio cream, but it seemed like old already made churros were deep fried again, they were definitely not freshly made. This part was disappointing. Otherwise they provide everything like salt, pepper, chilli flakes, etc for the fries...the service is great no doubt. The place looks beautiful, very inviting. But I wish the fries were more crunchy and churros fresh.

Unfortunately the fries weren't cooked through. When I asked, I was told that it was because of the sauce. I know the difference between undercooked and soft from the sauce. I hate to be kidded. The name would suggest that here is the place to be for chips (so 'french fries' 'friet') well if that's what you are looking for 'walk on by'. Whilst the salad we had was really good the 'fritten' were marginally fried, old and sad. Also the add on costs of sauces we found to be disproportionally expensive. We were also charged deposit on the soft drink bottles (no glasses provided) which was not refunded.

After a long time we were back at the Fritzenwerk and probably for the last time. I was really looking forward to the garlic fries. However, they were only lukewarm, far from crispy and not really cooked through. I kindly mentioned this to the staff. The answer was...: "We have the same deep fryer and the same fries as always." He took a fry, broke it over and said everything was fine. Neither I nor my daughter continued to eat. Thanks for nothing.

Nice atmosphere that is clearly superior to the food and staff on offer. The fries from the “Frittenmanufaktur” are an average convenience product that doesn’t stay in the deep fryer long enough. The pulled pork is not pulled pork, but more like a hint of meat in too much, slimy sauce. People who know nothing about BBQ will be very disappointed. The employees behind the counter didn't even smile during the too long wait. You could also see how the boss there treated the Lieferando messenger very badly. All in all it was a poor performance and the kebab shop next door probably would have had better food.

It was our first time at the Frittenwerk and we wished we could have placed the order with the employee. The menu pricing is a bit misleading. You see the complete menu at the terminal and then have to pay for everything individually. That's why we decided against a menu. The sweet potato fries were very tasty.

It's been a long time since I've been back to the Frittenwerk Aachen, unfortunately this time I wasn't at all satisfied! My fries with Currywurst Special were inedible - it wasn't a curry sauce, but some kind of tomato ketchup and extremely sour on top... it tasted as if it had been soured or had simply become sour in the heat 🙁 Bad enough, but the attempt to explain the fact to the shift manager ended with the comment: The curry sauce always tastes like this here... Das nennt sich "Frittenwerk" ! Ich hatte Lust auf Pommes und was ich bekommen habe war eine Zumutung! Die Pommes waren alt, kalt und ungenießbar. Die Soßen waren ungewürzt und das alles für 8.20 € Jede beliebige Pommes Bude kann bessere Pommes machen! Und günstiger.
