Superb food. Wish they had draft beer but wine alternatives are excellent. Very kindly served me near closing time. Had seafood pizza. Very good choices on the menu and very pleased with everything. They also have a really excellent chilli oil which was available upon request. To me this really added to the meal. Overall, delighted and very pleased with everything so highly recommended.

It's so cozy here. The food is excellent. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy. Guiseppe Ostwind is such a kind-hearted host, highly recommended.

We were here yesterday as a group of twelve people for our final course in guidance counseling and had registered accordingly. The waiter and assistant were both very friendly and quickly took our orders. We ate pizzas, ravioli, and spaghetti vongole. All the dishes looked delicious and freshly cooked. It's noticeable that exquisite ingredients are used here, especially on the pizza. The ravioli are, of course, homemade and beautifully folded. The only thing I noticed about the spaghetti vongole was that it must have had an extremely high amount of garlic in it, because even a few meters away, you could smell an unpleasant garlic odor. But that's a matter of taste. The pizza dough was beautifully fluffy and well-topped. For dessert, many had homemade tiramisu, also very delicious. The restaurant is a quaint, small cellar restaurant where you just feel at home. However, when it's full, it can get a bit noisy. Reservations are probably recommended in the evenings, especially on weekends. I highly recommend this small but fine restaurant!

We were hungry on a Saturday evening while passing through and hadn't made a reservation. The chef was on top of things and, after a short wait, we had a table for two free in the garden. Super delicious dishes and pizzas, even at the next table. Very friendly service and a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended, we'd gladly return.

It was very busy and we hadn't made a reservation, but there was still a table available. The waiter did mention that we might have to wait a little while for our food. The wait wasn't too bad, and the food was definitely worth it. Absolutely delicious!

We chose this restaurant because of the great reviews. The service was excellent. The pizza rustica we had was delicious. The vitello tonnato was good; I would have preferred the tuna sauce to be a bit more tuna-flavored and less mayonnaise-y, but that's up for debate; it's purely a matter of taste. The meat, tender and pink, is a dream. A definite no-go was the Sardi antipasti platter for €15.90. Getting four slices of sausage, one small bruschetta, a few cubes of melon, one cocktail tomato, a few strips of bell pepper, two slices each of eggplant and zucchini, and some arugula with cheese for that was simply unacceptable. I asked the waiter that that wasn't possible for almost €16, and they replied that they could understand it, as the chef had just been on vacation for a week. SCUSI, then please tell the guest that when they order or reduce the price of your mini appetizer platter, which is definitely not worth the asking price.

Excellent Italian cuisine, everything is harmonious, casual, and above all, customer-oriented. Absolutely delicious pasta, the wine pairs perfectly (not for sommeliers, but it's perfect). Amazing dessert, excellent espresso. What more could you want if you just want to spend a relaxed evening!!! When we entered the restaurant the smell of garlic and seafood welcomed us. The owner was extremely friendly and we enjoyed a great dinner either mixed starters, Bruscetta und Pizza - we would definitely come back. Thanks to the whole team of L’Osteria Sarda ❤️

My first visit, so I can only review my own dish and that of my invited friend. Regardless, the ambiance and service were very nice, personal, and pleasant. I had baby calamari on lamb's lettuce. Sensationally good. Buttery soft, wonderful aroma – I enjoy cooking myself, but I could never have achieved this quality. A taste experience! My friend wanted typical Sardinian food and ordered "Stozzapreti Sardi con Salsiccia" (homemade pasta with Sardinian sausage, tomatoes, etc.). Also absolutely excellent! We'll definitely be back! Italian restaurant that we discovered by chance. It has a lovely little courtyard that immediately gives you that vacation feeling. The staff was very friendly and managed to find us a table even though it was very busy. The food was delicious. For me, it's an absolute insider tip in Bamberg.

As someone with celiac disease, finding truly delicious gluten-free options is often a challenge – but this restaurant exceeded all expectations! I tried both the gluten-free pizza and pasta and was honestly delighted. The pizza had a perfectly crispy, flavorful base (no cardboard feeling!) and the toppings were fresh and generous. The pasta was cooked al dente to perfection and served with a sauce bursting with flavor – hearty, filling, and simply delicious. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable about cross-contamination. They took my intolerance seriously and made sure I felt safe and well-cared for throughout the meal. Whether you have celiac disease or are simply following a gluten-free diet, this restaurant is an absolute hidden gem.

Very good restaurant with very nice service and the typical Italian / Sardinian flair. The pasta was sensational, very delicately seasoned and without too much fuss. The rule “less is more” applies here, i.e. a few very good ingredients, a kitchen that knows how to do it makes an excellent dish. The same goes for the pizza: very good dough that was clearly allowed to rest for a long time. The right amount of tomato sauce and not too much mozzarella, combined with enough (but not overloaded) ingredients and you get a very good and wholesome pizza. Gluten-free pasta and pizza variants are also available upon request. Price/performance fits! 👍 We'd love to come back!

Very bad experience – absolutely not recommended! My friends and I (including two small children) were turned away from the restaurant on the grounds that there was only one member of staff present. However, there were several large tables available both inside and outside - including a table for six people. The employee's behavior was extremely rude and disrespectful. There was no attempt at politeness or hospitality. Treating guests like this is completely unacceptable. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. It's a shame about the experience - never again!

A visit to a restaurant that you don't necessarily remember: over 20 minutes of waiting time despite a table reservation, the service was somewhat okay (but just putting the wine on the guest's table and not pouring it as a matter of course is strange), the food was okay, but also no revelation (ravioli great, pizza sola) and the location in the basement takes some getting used to.

We were there with a group of eight people and the level of satisfaction varied. Depending on the waiter, the service ranged from very friendly to helpful. The atmosphere is casual. The salad Mista was quite clear and not dressed. However, as is usual in Italy, there was vinegar and oil at the table. The pizzas had plenty of toppings, but the flavor was missing. It was the same with the noodles. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but maybe we had an unfavorable day. In terms of price-performance ratio, a visit is okay.

Even though the kitchen was about to close, I received very friendly service and advice. And what I was served was very good. I think it's great that the restaurant is on the "lower ground floor" and the romantic atmosphere. Well, you can argue about the “art objects” there. But I also go there to eat and not to the museum.

Delicious food & attentive service. However, it was far too loud for me and the service staff looked so dark throughout my entire stay that I felt neither welcome nor comfortable. That's why I personally wouldn't go there again. Smiling and warmth are important to me. If that's missing, then even good food can't make up for it.

Inexpensive and good Italian restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the old town! Fast service and delicious food. We'd love to come back. On the second visit the day after, the kitchen was again impressive: excellent antipasti and excellent pasta. The restaurant, which is rarely visited by tourists but rather frequented by Bamberg regulars, is a real insider tip.

If you don't like it, don't go. I misunderstood it was an appetizer bread, so I asked if it was free, but the female employee said she would ask another employee, so I felt like she was giggling and laughing with the other employees, and they didn't even come to tell me that it was the main dish after that. I asked for a receipt, but they didn't give it to me for 20 minutes, and the people who came later than when I asked for a receipt had finished serving their food, had finished drinking their own beer, and had done other things^^, and that was when they said, "Acha>_< I forgot, haha, since I came to Germany." For the first time, I went to the checkout counter and paid. The food wasn't bad, but I think I might have to go all the way to Bamberg and eat something else. Well, I guess those people didn't have much of an ear for it. Haha. Achahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ^^!

2 weeks in to our drive around Germany and we wanted Italian. After walking several blocks on Tuesday 8/13, we discovered the restaurant closed and abandoned - At 8 pm! These guys need to update their Google listing with the correct open days/times. Unfair to tourists. Went to a brew house instead.

We popped in here by chance as our evening was ruined by a visit to another restaurant. Fortunately, there was a table for the four of us. Very polite staff, after literally 5 minutes we got drinks and after 10 food in total. The pasta was great! We had a great time, thank you. I recommend 👍🏻

2 out of 5 stars just because the bruscetta tasted good. My wife and I each had a pizza that was completely bland and apparently not seasoned. There also seem to be problems with service when the boss of the pizza oven has to run back and forth all the time. Otherwise beautiful Immenhof. Some reviews also wrote that it wasn't seasoned, apparently that's always the case...

Sweet restaurant with a lot of charm thanks to the kind of vaulted cellar. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious (we had pizza) and delivered quickly. I would particularly like to highlight the fantastic espresso - Bravo!

Small garden to sit in, the menu is rather basic, but the pasta tasted very good, antipasti and tiramisu were delicious and we also liked the house wine. We can definitely recommend the restaurant and sweetens the anticipation of Sardinia 💖💑

Great little restaurant. The food is simply over the top, and the value for money is more than perfect. The atmosphere is really cute and my personal highlight is the boss, he serves there himself, sometimes takes up to 10 dishes plus extra requests and does so without a note. Everything arrives at the table hot and right, the glasses were never empty for long. I can only recommend it to anyone who appreciates Sardinian cuisine and anyone who wants to try it. Fresh ingredients, processed with love. Keep it up 🤩

Had dinner here with a colleague on June 8th, 2024. I had the pasta with truffle, he had the vongole pasta. The Vongole noodles were okay, but not very seasoned. My pasta with truffles was a total miss. The truffle was like paper and tasteless, the sauce was just cream and the pasta was mixed. Furthermore, the food lacked spices, salt and pepper were foreign to the cook. Absolutely unacceptable for this price. The Bruschetta starter costs €7.50 and was just 3 pieces of bread with a little tomato and cheese. All in all

a real disappointment as I found absolutely nothing that reminded me of Sardinia. unfortunately for me I tried a cacio pepe and bacon, in the end I ended up with a plate of pasta with cream and bacon.............

Der tolle Service begann schon auf dem Parkplatz :) Wir waren das erste mal hier und waren nicht sicher, wo wir im Hof hinter der Schranke parken können. Der Rest verlief ähnlich angenehm, tolle Vorspeise (Antipasti nach Art des Hauses), geniale Pasta und alles in echt schönem Ambiente. Wir kommen wieder und essen uns weiter durch die Speisekarte.

Sehr nettes, flexibles und sehr freundliches Personal. Dazu noch sehr leckeres Essen. Kann man guten Gewissens hingehen.

Aufgrund des guten Wetters konnte man heute draußen oder im Lokal sitzen. Wir entschieden uns dennoch für drin, da es Abend doch wieder kälter werden sollte. Dort waren auch schon einige Tische belegt. Wir wurden an einen nicht eingedeckten Tisch gesetzt, der dann noch ab geputzt werden musste. Der Service war freundlich. Als Aperitif nahmen wir den Limonicello Spritz. Er schmeckte gut. Als Tagesempfehlung gab es u.a. Pizza Stella mit Rinder-Carpaccio, scharfer Salami und Buratta. Die war wirklich gut. Also, falls sie im Angebot ist, ist sie auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Zum Dessert hatten wir Tiramisu. Auch das war geschmacklich gut, nur aufgrund des Schichtens in einem bauchigen Glas, hatte der Cremeanteil einen leichten Überhang. Bei dem Essen waren wir von der sehr guten Pizza - in optischer Weise und Geschmack – freudig überrascht.

We have filed a case against you, soon the police will reach out to you — Never ever trust this restaurant! They have charged my friend with €3200 while he was not even in the country. Their machines have a device that can scan your card and then withdraw your money. Please please be aware. And I am ready to share whatever I can to prove this.

Food - excellent….we had aglia olio and a pizza…just as good as the ones we had in Italy…😘 Service - friendly and quick Value - they had lunch menus that include salad and/or soup. The price was around €11-14. The minestrone soup was delicious.

Original Italian and creative pizzas, in the middle of Bamberg. We would have liked a few more special Sardinian dishes (e.g. fish, fregola, etc.) on the menu. The pizzas were perfect!

Unser dritter Abend in Bamberg hat uns hierher geführt. Die Osteria ist ein ehrlicher Italiener mit guter Pizza und leckerer Pata. Keine gehobene Küche aber sehr reell, wir waren zufrieden. Nettes Ambiente im Keller und sehr freundliche Bedienung bei fairen Preisen.

The price-performance ratio was very disappointing. The two pizzas and the vegetarian antipasti were bland and nothing special. Around 15 euros per dish is rather expensive, especially when you consider the food served.

Incredibly delicious! I love pizza and have certainly been to almost every pizzeria in the city. This is definitely one of the best! It's not directly comparable - I don't know exactly how, but this pizza simply tastes different from the others: the dough is special and definitely unique in Bamberg. The other ingredients are very well coordinated and of very good quality. The pizza has class instead of quantity. Today I had a simple margerita, a sarda and a simple pizza bread. It's a mystery to me how such a simple pizza bread with dough, tomato sauce and spices can be so tasty that my two children didn't leave any of it for me! I strongly recommend giving L’Osteria a try! Service and ambience are great too!

A great restaurant near the ZOB. The service is very child-friendly, on-the-fly but not intrusive. In addition to the normal menu, there is a board with daily specials. The food was served very quickly. The pizzas are large and have plenty of toppings, but the pizza with pesto and porcini mushrooms somehow lacked pizzazz, as did the pasta. The ambience in the cellar is unique and the prices in the restaurant are absolutely fair. We would recommend a reservation; By 6:00 p.m. all tables were full.
