Great ambiance. Friendly staff. Prices are significantly too high. The pizza tastes miles below that of Salinos. A salami pizza for €20 is absurd.

We had reserved a table outside for today, September 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. And yet, despite the very mild weather, we had to sit inside. Five of us at a tiny table. The food arrived very quickly. At 6:30 p.m., we were asked to pay because the table was needed. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink, dessert, or an espresso. The five of us spent about €200 and were served after an hour! I don't think a good evening is a good one. You won't see us in this restaurant again. And we're not tourists!

We actually just wanted to go for a spontaneous coffee, but this wasn't the right place. We quickly found a table for the four of us. The four coffees were only lukewarm, and there was no dessert left. We finally found what we were looking for in the Old Town.

Four of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner. The service was very friendly and gave us the choice of whether we wanted to eat inside or outside. We had three starters, all of which were delicious; my favorite was the beetroot carpaccio. The main courses were also very good. The tagliatelle is homemade, the steak was perfect, and the panzanella was also very good. All four of us were completely satisfied and had a truly wonderful time.

We were a group of six and decided spontaneously to have an early dinner here on a Monday evening. We were very fortunate to get a table outside (the weather was perfect for that). The food was delicious, the service friendly and welcoming. The location is great and I think it is a good idea to reserve in advance to ensure you get a table. Their vegan chocolate mousse is fabulous and worth a try even if you are not vegan.

Astronomically high prices and, unfortunately, very small portions. I find €19 for spaghetti with pesto and €23 for salmon tagliatelle quite cheeky. Everything on the menu is presented with great pomp and circumstance, but it's still just spaghetti with pesto.

The food, homemade pasta and pizza, was incredibly delicious. You're willing to pay a little more for that. The service staff were also incredibly friendly.

This so-called 'pizza' was a bitter disappointment—actually, it's a disgrace to even call it that. The dough was hard and dry, reminiscent of poorly baked pizza bread, and there was no question of professional preparation. The toppings seemed carelessly arranged and tasted completely indifferent. Overall, a culinary disaster that fell short of all expectations. The setting was OK.

Unfortunately, the pizzas were very salty and completely tasteless, both the tomato sauce and the dough and toppings. I'm surprised by so many good reviews.

Nice ambiance and a good location, but we waited an hour for our food and then asked for it, only to be put off and then told that we'd been completely forgotten, even though the waitress had walked past us several times. There was no real apology or even a drink as a courtesy. We also waited a long time to pay. The food was so-so.

Italian restaurant with mediocre service. The place would like to be in the top league. The price is reasonable, but the service doesn't live up to it. When I ordered a bottle of wine, no one offered to taste it. Generally speaking, the service was pretty poor. The food itself was okay, but the pasta and pizza weren't outstanding. The ambiance is okay, but everything was very cramped. The five of us were crammed into a table for four. There are better restaurants in Bamberg.

Nice place. Good, fast, and attentive service. Very good pizza. The pasta and salad weren't particularly large in quantity. But everything tasted good. Prices a bit above average. A salad with a few turkey strips was €20. And unfortunately, the Tucher beer was a bit overpriced. Better to get Kulmbacher and Kapuziner. But otherwise, it was a nice evening in a relaxed atmosphere. It's fine.

A quiet atmosphere, the owner is friendly and attentive to the customer's needs. I had salmon tartare and seafood tagliatelle. The pasta was homemade, the octopus a little tough, but overall the dish was good. I highly recommend going there.

Unfortunately, the pizza was very dry and hard. It was almost impossible to cut it with a knife. The selection of drinks and pizzas was unfortunately very limited. But the staff was very friendly.

We noticed this cute little restaurant while walking past and decided to ask for a table. All the tables were reserved, but we were given an hour to eat and that was enough for us as the food came quickly when there were still few customers. The staff was polite and one of them shook hands with all the older customers entering the restaurant. We were not shaken hands, but we were really lucky to get a table. Thank you for that. Those who arrived after us did not get a table outside. The food was good and the service was first class. The view of the small square and the cobblestone streets created an ideal atmosphere.

Friendly service and a great location. The dishes are visually appealing, but not tasty. It was edible, but it didn't satisfy our palates. Unfortunately, the high prices aren't convincing, and I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something to eat as well as something to drink.

Pizza was ducking like Frozen, it is not possible to eat with your forks, so we asked then to cut, and they said know. Ducking worst pizza and I have waisted my calories too…

The food was OK and the service was good. I ordered a Caprese and it cost €17. It was supposed to come with seafood, but I didn't want that, so I just ordered the Caprese. It should have cost the same as with the seafood. I don't think it's right to keep the price the same if you don't get the most expensive part of the meal. What about pensioners who order small portions? Do they then pay the same price as the regular meal? Customer friendliness on the part of the manager is unfortunately different. I won't be going back, and I think there are other pizzerias that treat customers differently.

We were here as a group of girls, and each of us had super delicious food. My truffle pasta and pizzas were amazing. The interior design and the good service rounded everything off :)

We ate at Little Italy for the first time quite by chance – and were immediately impressed! The service was incredibly warm and attentive. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they immediately found us a great table. Since then, I've been there three times with friends – a delight every time! The food is authentic, fresh, and brings a real Italian feeling to Bamberg. Especially if you're from Kulmbach, like us, and love the city anyway, Little Italy is a real highlight. Here, you truly feel like you're on vacation in Italy. Clearly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

Lovely pizza and nice spot to sit

The salmon tagliatelle had pasta that was too firm, the onions (unfortunately) weren't listed, and it generally tasted of nothing. There was also a half-full Aperol. The service was abysmal, not warm or attentive. We had to remind them several times that we wanted another menu. Furthermore, the prices were astronomical, and the quality unfortunately didn't live up to them.

We sat inside, unfortunately, because the weather wasn't great. The pizza was great and the drinks were good too. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was modern Italian. I definitely recommend it, but the prices are quite high.

We went there spontaneously without a reservation. Unlike in other restaurants, our spontaneity meant we weren't greeted rudely; instead, we were greeted warmly and seated right away. We were served by two very young, super-friendly waitresses. The food was almost perfect. Tip: Be sure to try dessert! They're especially delicious here.

The restaurant is small but very nice. The service was friendly, but several glasses were broken that day when they were being cleared away. I didn't find the request to pay very charming. Although several tables were free for a long period of time (and even when we were asked to leave), we were asked to pay - even though we had made sales from drinks. Too bad.

If we were from here, little Italy would be our new regular Italian restaurant. The service was super friendly and fast. The food was something completely different than the run-of-the-mill food that is often available. It was super tasty and we all really enjoyed it. The selection is good and there is a nice selection for vegetarians. If we come here again, we will eat there again.

Great evening with great people. Nice quick service. Tasty crostini as a starter. The seasonal tagliatelle with asparagus and prawns was to die for. Unfortunately, in the end I wasn't full despite the starter and main course :( Unfortunately, the main courses came very separately, so I was half-eaten by the time the others got their pizza. Everyone was happy with the pizza.

Waited 10-15 minutes for the table despite a reservation. 40-45 minutes after ordering, we asked for the two pizzas because guests who came after us had already received their orders. Apparently the order was forgotten. As a service worker you should keep an eye on the situation. Pizzas for €16 & €21 each were more in line with the quality of an €8-10 pizza. As an operator, I would either adjust the prices or significantly increase the quality.

The best thing is of course the location. Sitting outside here when the weather is nice is really nice! Unfortunately, I wasn't that impressed with the food; for example, my pasta wasn't cooked properly. But the prices are quite high. We also had to wait quite a long time for our order even though there weren't many guests there.

Little Italy stands for little Italy That's how I describe the non-existent service, the unfriendly service and the unpleasant ambience. The food was ok and tasty, we've probably been to Italy too often and were just expecting the local flair and hospitality. For us, never again little Italy.

Sehr hochpreisig, gutes Essen und schönes Ambiente. Haben online einen Tisch gebucht für 1.5 Stunden, wurden direkt nach dem Essen gefragt ob wir weiteres bestellen möchten, wir meinten wir warten kurz -man muss auch erst mal verdauen- kurz darauf wurden wir gebeten zu gehen obwohl unsere gebuchte Zeit noch nicht vergangen war. Sehr schade, wir wollten einen Nachtisch/Kaffee. Für schnellesser ok, wenn man gemütlich essen gehen möchte dann doch woanders.

I had dinner there 8 months ago. Very tasty food with creations that you don't get anywhere else, in a nice atmosphere and nice service. I can highly recommend the restaurant. There are no parking spaces directly in front of the door, but there are paid parking spaces nearby.

Today I had lunch in an Italian restaurant and tried a particular pizza. It wasn't your usual pizza, but an interesting combination of sausage, mozzarella, tomato, cooked figs and ricotta added after cooking. The price is in line with the area, although for us it may seem a little high. The place is welcoming and is located in a perfect location, right at the foot of the Duomo. The staff is friendly and also speaks Italian, although the menu is only available in German and English. Convenient payment by credit card.

We had dinner on a Saturday evening. The reservation slots will be honored. We really liked the atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy even when we left at 8pm. Our dishes (pasta and risotto) tasted very good, they were both excellent. The risotto dish had a pleasant spiciness. The portions of both dishes were ok, but could have been a little larger. The service was nice and very attentive. I liked the red wine glasses and the temperature of the wine.

Overall, we had a good evening in Little Italy. Unfortunately, I honestly have to admit that the prices are too high. I had the lemon risotto with sea bass fillet. Luckily I still had a starter, otherwise the portion for just €23 wouldn't have been enough for me. I'll be honest, I was a bit shocked that as soon as you don't order a standard pasta/pizza dish, you usually pay €20-23 per dish. With a starter (antipasti €22...) and a main course each (+ two drinks each per person) the final amount came to an impressive €90. Definitely too much, even if it was admittedly delicious.

Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen. Es war ein komplette Katastrophe von der Vorspeise angefangen bis zur Hauptspeise. Es hat nichts gepasst, mit Sicherheit nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Very nice cozy restaurant. The young waiter was very friendly and motivated. The men's toilet smelled very strong right into the entrance area. The risotto with king prawns was tasty, but unfortunately very little, nothing to fill you up. The beef fillet was nice and crispy on the outside, unfortunately cooked on the inside, we wanted medium. Unfortunately after the complaint it didn't get any better, no longer crispy on the outside and almost raw on the inside. Not acceptable for 35€!!! Our conclusion; Price performance just isn't right... What a shame...

We ate there as a family (2 children and 2 adults). The food was really delicious. The pizzeria is not far from the city center. The service was nice and the atmosphere was really pleasant.

Yesterday we had reserved a table in advance, the restaurant was nicely furnished in a rustic, cozy manner, unfortunately completely overcrowded with guests, a very narrow small table for 2 people, the boss / service was very nice, the rest of the staff were overwhelmed, the carpaccio starter was okay, the salad with goat cheese was tastelessly prepared , Pizza tuna was not an experience and the dough was not a burner, but rather a ready-made pizza base, very dry. Too bad.......

I ate dinner at Little Italy on December 26, 2024. Service, cleanliness and ambience were 5 stars. The tagliatelle with shrimp and octopus were very tasty and price/performance was okay. The mixed side salad, however, was too expensive from the PLV. The tomatoes were tasteless and a bit of colorful leaf lettuce... The 0.2 wine Lugana for 10 EUR was also very expensive in my opinion. Therefore 4 stars overall. But I can absolutely recommend it and will come back :-)!

Food was okay... service very good. Unfortunately none of the dishes were really warm. The pizza sat at the counter for at least 5 minutes until it was served, which is not an expectation I have. Portions were very manageable for this price category.

Worst Italian restaurant I have ever visited. Gnocchi is overcooked without seasoning, the other pasta dish (orecchiette) is oversalted. The starter plate was completely overpriced and lacked quality. All the positive reviews are incomprehensible and unfortunately we fell for it. Restaurant completely overrated and value for money a disaster. Never again!

I booked this place because the pizzas looked very good in the photos. Unfortunately the reality did not correspond, poorly cooked dough, a pool of oil or fat in the center of the pizza once served and the cheese which had no taste... The atmosphere and the room were nice and the nice service but we were disappointed with the food.

Der Empfang war nicht gerade freundlich und man sitzt sehr beengt. Die Pizza ist gut allerdings sehr ölig, der Rest nur sehr durchschnittlich mit nicht gerade top Qualität der Produkte. Geschmacklich sehr fad und ebenfalls sehr ölig. Einfach viel zu teuer für mehr als durchschnittliches Essen. Muss man nicht gewesen sein…..
