Unfortunately, when it's full, the air in the room quickly becomes stuffy.

There's no better way to finish a long day than an absolutely horrible meal. I am seriously amazed that they could serve their food without embarrassment. To start with, I ordered a beer that was completely flat and without any carbonation. Not a huge deal...it happens. But then the replacement beer was also completely flat, so I just gave up and drank the sad, malty, lifeless beer. The food was the real issue. I ordered a bavette steak that was to tough to chew. It was supposed to come with a "port wine reduction," which sounded lovely but was actually a thick, grey, overly salty paste that was entirely unappetizing to even look at. How a cook could put that on a plate and send it to the dining room is beyond me. To top it off, it was served with potatoes that tasted as if they had been cooked hours before. What a waste of 33 euros. My wife and son shared the tagliatelle with steak. The pasta was undercooked, the beef unchewable, and the whole thing sat in a pile of liquid instead of in a creamy sauce that that sticks to the pasta that you'd expect. Really awful. Would not recommend.

Totally lovely evening in a pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly service. Food (pizza, salad, tiramisu and grappa) were very tasty.

A perfect cozy place for lunch after you end up walking from the main city centre to the church. Excellent pasta in lemon tomato sauce and equally amazing was the tiramisu ❣️ must visit place. The service was fast and with a smile.

Tasty and varied menu, but weak service. Not accepting a reservation for 14 people for the Christmas party on the grounds that it would be on a Saturday is really crazy.

Super fast service, nice staff, drinks and food arrived pleasantly quickly, pasta was super tasty but pizza dough was firm and dry (hard to cut with a knife), ambience and presentation are great, but a must for these prices.

Absolutely recommended! Wonderfully delicious food and definitely one of the best Italian restaurants we've been to so far. The tiramisu in particular was to die for! We will definitely come back when we are in Bamberg again.

We had ordered a salad & a pizza, where the salad was initially forgotten. Unfortunately, the salad didn't taste like anything and there was hair on the pizza. The price/performance is not right & it used to be much better.

I was sitting in front of the bar. A waitress with very long fingernails used her fingernails to pick pieces of lemon from drinks and then served those drinks to customers. 2 pizzas arrived in an hour even though we asked for them several times. They said they would come every time. They said a large group had ordered pizza before us but why weren't we told so we could order something else. A staff member yelled at me when I got angry about the food delay. No staff member apologized and we had to run to catch our train. The food really wasn't Italian and the pizza was ok, definitely not worth 18 euros. This was one of the cheapest items on the menu. They don't serve bread or snacks like other Italian restaurants. They promised us a seat outside after 15-20 minutes and of course we didn't get it. Inside, the ceiling is a bit low. I was sitting in front of bar. One waitress with very long nails took lemon pieces out of drinks with nails and then surve that drink to customers. 2 pizzas came in more than 1 hour time even we asked many times. They say every time it is coming. They said they have a large group ordered pizza before us but why this was not told to us so we could order something else. Worker yelled at me when I got angry due to food delay. No workers said sorry and we had to run to catch our train. Food was really not Italian and pizza was ok definitely not worth 18 euros. That was one of the cheapest foods on the menu. They do not serve bread or apitizers like in other Italian restaurants. They promised us outside place after 15 20 minutes and of course we did not get it. In inside area, ceiling is a bit shallow.

What a shame that the service wasn't attentive over the course of the evening, so that the guests noticed that personal conversations between the employees were preferred to the guests - that's not a good thing. Empty glasses were also not removed, although here in particular there was very little attention. The types of beer we ordered were also mixed up. A massive mistake - especially in a beer town. Nevertheless, above all, culinary praise goes to the kitchen. 😊

We even ate here twice during our Bamberg vacation because the food was so delicious and the service staff was so friendly. The pizza, pasta dishes and salad were very tasty and we spontaneously got a table every time. Really highly recommended!

The service was great and friendly, the atmosphere is nice. But unfortunately the Pizza Diavolo was not satisfactory. It seems to me that the yeast dough just didn't rise. In addition, the beer was stated as 0.5 liters, but when the head of foam came off, it was only a maximum of 0.45 liters. The complaint went smoothly, but it's still a no-go for me. For the price (pizza €15) I only give it 3 stars.

The Corleone pizza was a highlight. Very tasty with smoked cheese. Very friendly service that, despite the store being full, had an overview and fulfilled all requests quickly. Price ok. One star deducted from Baron Ambiente for the annoying piano music.

Although everything was reserved, we still managed to find a place for our short stopover in Bamberg. It was very tasty and the service was very friendly despite the heat and crowds. Next time we’ll make a reservation too!

I had a diabolo, very well filled and the price at 14 euros was okay for Bamberg. But the most important thing was that the pizza was very tasty and, according to its name, spicy. Not over the top just the way I like it.

The service was friendly, but it took a very long time before the pizzas were served. We didn't get enough cutlery and the beer, which was ordered at the same time as the food, never came. The pizzas were overcooked and definitely not tasty. All in all, a waste of money and the evening.

Had the risotto with chanterelles and a small insalata mista. Was there alone and sat inside. Service was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Food was good too!

The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu offered an excellent selection of Italian dishes. Since we unfortunately only had a limited time window, we pre-ordered the food by email, which worked smoothly from an organizational point of view. The dishes were simply delicious – freshly prepared and full of flavor! The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Italian cuisine!

Four of us spontaneously dined here. The conditions were very friendly and gave us the choice whether we wanted to eat outside or inside. We had three starters, all three were very tasty, my favorite was the beetroot carpaccio. The main courses were all very good too. The tagliatelle here is homemade, the steak was perfect and the panzanella was also very good. All four of us were completely satisfied and had a really nice time here.

We had a delicious dinner. The staff was very pleasant, friendly and always up for a joke. We'll definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Yes this is a tourist trap , but what isn’t in this part of this beautiful town? Having said that, the service was excellent. Got to sit in an air conditioned room on a 30 degree day. Had a quite delicious pizza and a Barbera. All over good place to stop for lunch after seeing the nearby sites

Great pasta and pizza. It’s fresh homemade pasta and you can taste it! Great quality. Would recommend the Arrabbiata Pasta if you like spice.

Nice, small restaurant with delicious dishes - also open on Mondays, great! Pizza and risotto highly recommended. Unfortunately, on our last visit there was a technical problem in the kitchen, so it took forever. But the restaurant did everything they could to put the faux pas right - thank you very much for that too!

Und hätte man die Pfifferlinge ein bisschen raffiniert gewürzt , wäre das eine tolle Pizza gewesen. Alles in allem: für den Preis- etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail.

Mega delicious pasta. Wouldn't have expected such great quality and such value for money in this heavily touristed place. Our service ladies in particular were very friendly and attentive. Recommended at any time. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

They offer and advertise gluten-free pizzas, which pleased me as a person with celiac disease. The surcharge of €4 is far too high and is no longer proportionate for me. There are many places that offer this cheaper. So I ate gluten-free pasta with seafood. The seafood was excellent, the sauce was too salty, the pasta was al dente, but with an additional charge of €3.50 it was also too high. The competition (but probably the same owner according to the waitress?) offers noodles at no extra charge. The service was very friendly, after we had a very incompetent service at the beginning. I wouldn't eat there again. But it wasn't a failure either.

The food is very good. The ambience too. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high compared to some other places in Bamberg. But a visit is definitely worth it.

Incredibly attractive card that makes it difficult to decide. There were four of us and we shared antipasti and another starter. Afterwards there was pasta and pizza. Personally, I found the pasta dishes very tasty and better than the pizza. Would definitely reserve! The service was very nice and the atmosphere was great (we sat outside).

Ein schönes Plätzchen und das Restaurant macht sehr vieles richtig. Vor allem das Personal war sehr nett - ein junges Team - und hat mit Humor und Freundlichkeit serviert. Die Speisen sind über dem Durchschnitt: Pizza sehr gut, Pasta fast noch etwas besser. Die Preise sind angemessen - für die Pizza etwas hoch. Man sitzt aber wirklich sehr schön - an einem heißen Abend mit etwas Luft draussen, und nicht zu eng an den nächsten Tischen.

We have ordered two pizza and I got mine first after 10 min we still waiting for my girlfriends pizza. They said nothing, I needed to ask several times for the pizza and they said 1 min. 🤣 no discount and no service.. but the was food was great

This time I had a salad plate with shrimp, unfortunately the specified grains were missing and consisted mainly of arugula. Unfortunately there was no pizza bread either.

We chose this place for the possibility of eating gluten-free food for my boys. Very unique and well looked after environment. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good pizza, both normal and gluten-free. I instead chose the risotto with bacon, provola and mushrooms, very tasty. The tiramisu to close the lunch is also good. Positive experience.

Today we were there with my girlfriend. I would like to note the work of the staff, they are good, the order was taken very quickly and in 7 minutes it was already on our table. The dishes were delicious, we had two pastas with salmon and squid with prawns. If I will be in Bamberg again, I will definitely come again. Very cosy atmosphere of the place

The food was excellent and looked the same at all the other tables. The service was attentive, particularly the Chef de Service. He has everything under control and, despite all his efficiency, exudes enormous calm. You can sit outside comfortably away from the hustle and bustle.

There were 7 of us, everything was empty and we asked for 2 tables to be put together outside. No chance, on the contrary, when we left there was still blasphemy from the two ladies who had probably fallen into the make-up paint bucket shortly before.

We didn't have a reservation but then we were lucky. The menu serves all the Italian dishes you would expect. We had pizza, pasta and risotto, all of top quality. Even if not in NYC this little Italy is always worth a visit.

We spontaneously got a place outside on Sunday evening. Homemade lemonade with gin was delicious. All three pasta dishes tasted good. Tiramisu was also delicious. The service was extremely friendly. Price/performance is also completely okay. -> Recommendation from me.

Were turned away despite free places. Reason literally “the kitchen needs some rest at the moment”. It's best to close it completely then the kitchen will be quiet forever...

It's more of a fast food snack bar, definitely good for a small snack. But be careful, you can't eat relaxed here. Regardless of whether it's personal or business, you should avoid this shop if you don't want to be rushed by the staff every 5 minutes so that you don't get past the time slot you supposedly reserved for. Maybe you should try to encourage the guests to come back and not force them to leave the restaurant after exactly 85 minutes. Really a shame. We come from nearby and can recommend more pleasant restaurants just around the corner

Beautiful decor, amazing food, fantastic staff! The crostini was delicious. The mascarpone adds a nice touch to it. The tagliatelle with seafood was excellent. So was the tagliatelle with beef strips. You must try the tiramisu for dessert because it’s phenomenal. Light and very tasty. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re in Bamberg.

I don't know how this place deserves 4.5 stars, pizza tastes so-so, dough is more like a frozen pizza and the Aperol was more water than spritz. Children's Pizza Margerita is not possible, only standard size of course there has to be something worth it (€12.00 for Margerita Pizza 😉) Packing up the leftovers was also marked as done with a bag on the table. In that sense, good luck...unfortunately we won't see each other again.

Very tasty food and fast, friendly service

There were four of us. The steak came almost raw instead of medium and was still cold inside. After we returned it, the plate came back with fewer potatoes and the extra salt was missing. But it was ok. Lillet was more water than drink. Pizzas were ok, although 5 postage stamp-thin pear slices on a pear gorgonzola pizza are rather sparse. In total we paid 120 euros including tip, which in my opinion does not correspond to the offer. Only the service from the employees was top and in the end it was worth it.

Standard pizza that is neither particularly large nor topped with particularly tasty ingredients. The dough isn't really good either! With prices between 18-20€ per pizza, I expect a really unforgettably good pizza. You'll probably find it in the Osteria Sarda, but not in Little Italy!

Good pizza & lovely seafood risotto and fish of the day. The Dragon fruit & mango homemade lemonade is great - I had mine with a bit of vodka. Nice place in a cute little nook of Bamberg's old town. I'd definitely come again.

Except for the worst and most expensive pizza I've ever eaten, everything was fine

We were served lukewarm tap water from the seltzer bottle that had already been opened (!), pasta was served without parmesan, was way too spicy, and we didn't receive a bill. What's that supposed to mean?? Tourinepp!

If you don't want to waste your money, don't go to this restaurant. I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. We ordered a pizza primavera and it had 2 kilos of rucula (pizza completely disproportionate in its ingredients) a rubbish pizza. The spaghetti is dry spaghetti from a package with jarred tomatoes, spaghetti that any student on a very reasonable budget could make in their apartment. Italy wouldn't be proud of this restaurant.

I really like Italian cuisine and was looking forward to pasta or pizza. However, since everything was either with fish or mushrooms or just "spicy", I chose a salad with chicken strips. The salad had no seasoning other than the dressing and the chicken was rubbery. My husband had spaghetti 'arabiata'. His statement 2x 5 minute terrine ready on the plate and a chili pepper on the side... the dish was ready. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The toilet wasn't the cleanest, but you could get some quick business done. Next time I visit Bamberg I won't go there again. Sorry. For me it was the worst Italian restaurant we've ever been to.

We got a table at short notice. The waitress was very friendly and the food came quickly. The vegan chickpea ravioli are recommended. The pizza and salad were also delicious. We can recommend the restaurant.

It was always a good restaurant, but now far too expensive. Pizza for €20 with an actual value of €5 is more than usury.

It was our first time here and we were more than satisfied :) We got a place for 2 at short notice, the service was very courteous. The food arrived very quickly and was simply A1, the gnocchi and pizza were simply great 👍🏼 We would love to come back 🙂
