It's a fairly small place, but the pizzas are incredibly delicious and they serve first-class espresso! If you're here as a tourist, you should definitely stop by for a bite to eat :)

Italian restaurant in a German brasserie setting 🇩🇪🇮🇹 Wide selection of dishes: pizza, pasta, meat, fish... The dishes are delicious, very generous, and well paired. As for the prices, they are very reasonable, especially considering the quantities offered. A big plus for the side salad, which is a real mixed salad 👍

Upon arrival, there were three servers sitting outside. One was busy on her phone most of the time, while the other two were simply loud and disruptive—whether talking or laughing loudly, or using their phones loudly. I was brought the wrong food, so I couldn't eat with my partner. I've rarely felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant, which, unfortunately, was entirely due to the completely unprofessional behavior of the servers.

The food was above averagely expensive for seasoned frozen food. The service was terrible. If the staff weren't busy chatting loudly at the next table in their own language, maybe half of the order wouldn't have been forgotten. The bottom line: avoid!

We ate there during our vacation and even placed an order, which I then picked up. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the portions good and—in our case—large (my salad, for example, was so huge that I couldn't finish it and still managed to take it home clean). Overall, we were very satisfied and would visit this restaurant again.

Well, everything could be better. The onion soup was served piping hot from the pizza oven, making it impossible to eat. My palate and tongue were scorched. Despite asking, the chef showed no sympathy. My response: "I've always done it this way." The pizza tasted good, but it could be better.

This place became one of my favorite restaurant ever. We loved it so much, that we spent here with my friends both of our evenings. All of the meals were so delicious, the portion so big that we couldn’t even finish it. But what made the most was the atmosphere brought by everyone from the stuff. They were all so funny, so caring, making us welcomed and amused all the time. When we ask them the second day if we can buy some mayonnaise cause the shop wad been closed already, it was so nice from them when they gave it to us for free. Whole design was beautiful and I am sure if I visit Schwarzwald once again I will definitely stop in this place.

The previous owner was great. The new staff are a disaster. They don't want to work. Asking for a change when the menu was offered was impossible. The chef wasn't even asked. What a shame.

A lovingly run pizzeria that makes you feel like you're in Italy. Unfortunately, the main road runs right past the outdoor area (with a hedge as privacy).

The food is excellent. I ate there three times and everything was delicious. It was a bit difficult with the young waiter at the counter at times. He doesn't check everything. Since there are enough staff, I was able to overlook it.

I got takeout food from here once. But they overcharged me. They must have calculated it with a phone in hand. Probably, I didn't say anything about it. We also ate on the patio once. It was delicious, but they had prepared lasagna instead of the tagliatelle I ordered. They did ask if that was okay, and we accepted, otherwise we'd have to wait for our food again. After two mistakes, I won't be coming back.

Everything was perfect I will come again

We found a seat on the terrace, which consisted of plastic chairs and metal tables without any further decoration. The waiter, who was standing in a corner and saw us coming, asked us something like what we wanted. We said something to eat and a drink, which was accepted with an exuberant wave of our arm. We ordered three non-alcoholic drinks and three Schniposas. The salad was OK, as was the dressing. Two schnitzels were ordered with mushrooms; the black mushrooms covered in sauce were served on top of the fried schnitzel. The waiter had kept the ketchup for the third schnitzel in his trouser pocket. The fries were OK, just normal frozen ones. By the way, the prices on the internet are not the same as those on the menu in the restaurant; they are between two and four euros more. The many positive reviews are hard to understand.

Four of us were here. We were served quickly. The food isn't recommended. The spaghetti carbonara was swimming in oil, the schnitzel was a ready meal, which isn't necessary. Maybe we should have ordered a pizza, which looked okay. The place didn't look very inviting either; it was the only one open in town, so we had no other choice.

We received an unfriendly welcome; our question about whether we were at the right table was too much for the female waitress. A young waiter took our order; he was very friendly. If the dish is labeled spicy, please spice it up! The waiter who cleared our plates had bought his gum worse than a cow. His grumbling was impossible to ignore. When we wanted to pay, the question was whether to pay with cash or by card. We paid, the grumbling waiter waved his arm, saying it was only inside. Sorry, but it could definitely be a bit friendlier; it was barely busy.

The pizzeria itself was quite nice and very busy. Despite that, there weren't long waits. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating is right on the street. This rather poor review is due to the following situation: We each ordered an appetizer and a main course. The appetizer was served – and it was also very tasty. Unfortunately, the fact that we had ordered an appetizer and a main course wasn't passed on to the kitchen. The waiter asked if we wanted the main course straight away. Our answer was no! Two minutes later, a lady, sloppily placed the dishes at the next table, saying "I'm sorry." My pizza got cold. Normally, I don't have to take responsibility for an employee's mistake and would have expected a new, especially warm, pizza. There was neither a discount nor a free drink, nor even a question about whether we were okay with it. A real shame; for me, it was absolutely rude and a no-go. Mistakes can happen, but not at the expense of a paying customer.

What a mess. Terrace half full and then you have to sit in the sun because you are at a table for 4. Have fun with your four guests, not me.

A nice Italian restaurant. Fantastic food, very tasty, and friendly service. It gets a bit busy on a Saturday evening, making it difficult to make everything perfect.

We were there with a group of 12 people. Most of us ordered pizzas. These were served to our tables in batches. While the first person had almost finished eating, others at the table were still waiting for their food 10 minutes later. Apparently, the pizza oven is too small. The pasta and fish dishes also arrived late. The service was a bit chaotic, as the waiters sometimes didn't know which table an order belonged to, even though there were table numbers. I wasn't impressed with the pizza itself; it was underseasoned and the crust was very dry around the edges. Card payments accepted.

They told us "don't order pizza it takes too much" so we order pasta. 50 minutes later no pasta comes, we asked and they said "5 to 6 minutes" which meant they hadn't prepared it yet. 1 hour later we had a starving 5 year old and no apologies. We took the food to go which was good but won't come back for sure.

We stumbled upon this by chance, were at the café next door, and made a reservation for the evening. Beautifully decorated and with a cozy atmosphere. Friendly and excellent service. The food was incredibly delicious; the steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, and the meat was very tender. The salmon pasta was equally excellent, and the pizzas at the neighboring tables looked more than delicious. 💪🏻 I can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to come back again if it works out. 🤘🏻

Just wow the steak was the best I eaten ever

We enjoyed our first visit so much that we decided to come back for our last day of vacation. The places are very good, the staff very kind and adorable with our baby, and personally, being a big fan of pizzas, I was not disappointed. Everything was excellent!

Cozy Italian restaurant in Schönwald to recommend

We were there today with 12 adults and 10 children and it was really a great day. With this large group, we weren't sure if the kids would be a bother, but they even got their own table and even when they ran through the path, everyone was always really nice. The food was really tasty and despite there being so many people, we didn't have to wait long. The pizza and the meat were really good and even my son (who usually only wants to eat pasta without sauce) ate the entire portion of spagetti Bolognese. Thanks!

We were there on January 2nd, 2025. We ordered a schnitzel. Schnitzel was OK. Fries were OK. Pasta Schönberg was not tempered enough and in my opinion it was in the style of Alfredo but very greasy with little parmesan. Pasta Misto with spoiled vegetables and the absolute crowning glory was Pasta Bolognese. Mega salty and incredibly sour. Sose Bolognese was watery. We didn't finish all of the pasta and left. We don't have any complaints either. Later in the evening and the next day my wife and I had severe digestive problems. No food was accepted from us before visiting the restaurant. We ate pizza here two days before and it was OK. My conclusion, by far the worst pasta I have eaten in many countries in my life. Service was OK. Ambience OK too. Too bad

Although everything was actually reserved, we were given a table. All 5 meals as well as dessert and drinks were delicious. The restaurant is recommended and worth the money.

The pizza was very tasty, crispy and well topped. Unfortunately, the service employee was completely overwhelmed by our request for water for the dog and after a while and when we asked, she told us that she didn't have a bowl...The boss then took pity on us after further inquiries and brought the water. ...something went wrong, which in turn got us a very dirty look from the other service employee...so remember: pizza, yes, but not with a dog!

Delicious food, large portions, for a great price

We were a group of 9 people. We had reserved it weeks ago. When we arrived there was no more space. We should wait 10 minutes. After 40 minutes a table became available. A couple with a dog who arrived much later were then assigned to this place. We were told they had no space. They then left the restaurant upset. The staff was totally overwhelmed. Impossible!!!

We waited almost 10 minutes until we got the menu, then another 8 minutes until we could finally order a drink. Except for the lasagna, food for 4 people came relatively quickly and tasted good. Relatively high prices, pizzaria near Munich was cheaper...

Good-humored employees, with humor and wit. The pizzas are decent and very tasty... We would like to eat there again when we are on holiday in Schönwald.
