Very good restaurant in the Black Forest and in addition the service person speaks French, very classy

I can only recommend this restaurant with reservations. Be careful when the daily special is offered. In my case, the beef roulade with spaetzle was supposed to cost 28 euros. In my opinion, an excessive price, which left me with the feeling of being ripped off, considering the other prices.

A nice Italian restaurant. Fantastic food, very tasty, and friendly service. It gets a bit busy on a Saturday evening, making it difficult to make everything perfect.

We were there with a group of 12 people. Most of us ordered pizzas. These were served to our tables in batches. While the first person had almost finished eating, others at the table were still waiting for their food 10 minutes later. Apparently, the pizza oven is too small. The pasta and fish dishes also arrived late. The service was a bit chaotic, as the waiters sometimes didn't know which table an order belonged to, even though there were table numbers. I wasn't impressed with the pizza itself; it was underseasoned and the crust was very dry around the edges. Card payments accepted.

They told us "don't order pizza it takes too much" so we order pasta. 50 minutes later no pasta comes, we asked and they said "5 to 6 minutes" which meant they hadn't prepared it yet. 1 hour later we had a starving 5 year old and no apologies. We took the food to go which was good but won't come back for sure.

We stumbled upon this by chance, were at the café next door, and made a reservation for the evening. Beautifully decorated and with a cozy atmosphere. Friendly and excellent service. The food was incredibly delicious; the steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, and the meat was very tender. The salmon pasta was equally excellent, and the pizzas at the neighboring tables looked more than delicious. 💪🏻 I can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to come back again if it works out. 🤘🏻

Now to be honest, if you want to experience a really friendly Italian who conjures up 4 incredibly delicious pizzas on your table 10 minutes before lunch, then this is the right place. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but I think you know what a juicy pizza looks like.

Very quaint, cozy restaurant. Went there spontaneously for lunch with the kids! And what can you say, it was delicious. The pizza is exactly how you want it, brilliant dough, tasty, crispy and not too thick. The hosts are all very nice and accommodating. A classic recommendation.

Just wow the steak was the best I eaten ever

We enjoyed our first visit so much that we decided to come back for our last day of vacation. The places are very good, the staff very kind and adorable with our baby, and personally, being a big fan of pizzas, I was not disappointed. Everything was excellent!

Fast and good service, everyone enjoyed the food. We were there with 3 adults and 2 kiddies. After a short order, everything went very quickly, so that the children were happy with their meal. They also made smaller portions for the children. If I offer, I feel it secretly and will visit the business again.

Cozy Italian restaurant in Schönwald to recommend

We were there today with 12 adults and 10 children and it was really a great day. With this large group, we weren't sure if the kids would be a bother, but they even got their own table and even when they ran through the path, everyone was always really nice. The food was really tasty and despite there being so many people, we didn't have to wait long. The pizza and the meat were really good and even my son (who usually only wants to eat pasta without sauce) ate the entire portion of spagetti Bolognese. Thanks!

We were there on January 2nd, 2025. We ordered a schnitzel. Schnitzel was OK. Fries were OK. Pasta Schönberg was not tempered enough and in my opinion it was in the style of Alfredo but very greasy with little parmesan. Pasta Misto with spoiled vegetables and the absolute crowning glory was Pasta Bolognese. Mega salty and incredibly sour. Sose Bolognese was watery. We didn't finish all of the pasta and left. We don't have any complaints either. Later in the evening and the next day my wife and I had severe digestive problems. No food was accepted from us before visiting the restaurant. We ate pizza here two days before and it was OK. My conclusion, by far the worst pasta I have eaten in many countries in my life. Service was OK. Ambience OK too. Too bad

Although everything was actually reserved, we were given a table. All 5 meals as well as dessert and drinks were delicious. The restaurant is recommended and worth the money.

Delicious food, large portions, for a great price

The pizza was very tasty, crispy and well topped. Unfortunately, the service employee was completely overwhelmed by our request for water for the dog and after a while and when we asked, she told us that she didn't have a bowl...The boss then took pity on us after further inquiries and brought the water. ...something went wrong, which in turn got us a very dirty look from the other service employee...so remember: pizza, yes, but not with a dog!

We were a group of 9 people. We had reserved it weeks ago. When we arrived there was no more space. We should wait 10 minutes. After 40 minutes a table became available. A couple with a dog who arrived much later were then assigned to this place. We were told they had no space. They then left the restaurant upset. The staff was totally overwhelmed. Impossible!!!

We waited almost 10 minutes until we got the menu, then another 8 minutes until we could finally order a drink. Except for the lasagna, food for 4 people came relatively quickly and tasted good. Relatively high prices, pizzaria near Munich was cheaper...

Quaint Italian restaurant. Super nice and above all fast service as well as very good Italian food. We were here twice without a reservation and there were still spaces available. The annex is very friendly and bright.

I stopped by here on a wonderful Sunday afternoon. Very nice restaurant, very well maintained and clean. The toilets are also very clean. The food (pizza arugula for me) tastes fantastic and the staff is extremely friendly. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. Everything is great.

The food is of the highest quality, is wonderfully tasty and is served in generous portions - the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and competent service, which makes the visit a completely pleasant experience. At a late hour we were looking for a place to have dinner in this sleepy place. Quite inconspicuous from the outside, but a very Italian atmosphere from the inside. Good-humored employees, with humor and wit. The pizzas are decent and very tasty... We would like to eat there again when we are on holiday in Schönwald.

Nice little Italian on the main street. We've been here 3 times now and everything was perfect. Very good pasta and pizza. Gladly again. Prices are sometimes quite excessive for schnapps after the meal at 5 - 7 euros and sometimes for the dishes themselves, so one star less.

Nice restaurant with “casual” friendly service. The food tasted very good and was reasonably priced. We only sat in the beer garden outside and therefore can't give any points for the inside of the restaurant.

I ate Tortellini a LA Panna, but was a bit disappointed because it tasted quite bland. Prices are quite high. I paid €15 for the tortellini.

We are some Spanish friends who spent a few days on vacation in this town in the Black Forest. Good service and good treatment and of course the beer and spectacular food. The friend Juan Carlos was very helpful and kind. In the town the only place that was worth it. Highly recommended site. We feel at home.

Traveling in the Black Forest with my family, we stopped last 03/06 in this excellent restaurant-pizzeria in the heart of Schönwald, run by Italian staff. Typical and welcoming environment. The service was friendly and excellent; we chose several first courses from Italian cuisine and they were all delicious. The bruschetta they brought us with chili peppers was special. Excellent value for money. I recommend the end of the meal in their pastry shop next door (Cafè Princess), where they make an exceptional Black Forest cake 🍰. Highly recommended!

We're on holiday here and thought we'd go and have dinner there. Done. Said Done Ambiance. It's OK . We sat outside. Service. Drinks are ok We waited a whopping 45 minutes for the food. Simply forgotten. Excuse, we have a lot to do. Yes, exactly . The people who came later got their food earlier. size is. Admitting it and apologizing for it. That the man forgot his food Eat . Food was ok But if you think about it. Price performance for a pizza with ham 16 euros. Where just something fancy for 3 euros. You can do it. But you don't have to. All in all, I don't have to have it again. I can eat better and cheaper in any snack bar.

Bad service. We won't be coming back!

I cannot really speak about the food as I was the only person in my dinner party (6 people) not to receive their order. We brought it up to the waiter and they forgot to put my order in. (The water that I got was good). After that we waited for another 45 mins and I still had not gotten my order. We decided to leave as the party I was with had already finished eating and had their plates taken away. This was an amazing start to a 4 day getaway. I will not be visiting this place again.

Very very very good pizza!!! Fantastic staff. Nice, convivial, attentive and extremely helpful! The pizzeria is open until 10pm. Better to book if you can because it is really very busy. In addition to the pizzeria there is the possibility of having a drink afterwards in the restaurant next door which is open until midnight. We ate and drank very well and it was nice and very pleasant to chat with the owner and the other guys in the place. Highly recommended!!!!
