Finally a good pizza...... The owners are Tuscan....I haven't spoken to them much but they seem to be nice.....I will definitely be back to eat the pizza again and try something from the cuisine

The only unpleasant thing is that we only stopped for one night while passing through, when instead the welcome, the rooms, the setting right in front of the forest and the quality of the cuisine would invite us to stay for a few days. It's a fairytale place. We dined outdoors enjoying the magnificent coolness near the small stream, and saw a small squirrel hopping about. The same this morning, looking towards the forest from the magnificent covered terrace of the room. The bruschettas are fabulous! But so were the pasta dishes and pizza we tasted. Family and friendly welcome, parking available for guests. Perfect!

Unfortunately I have to give one star even though none is deserved. As a Schönwalder, I went to this pizzeria for the first time yesterday with my wife and children. It was around 7 p.m. and when I asked if it would be possible for three people the answer was "I can't do that anymore!" and the waitress immediately disappeared without a glance or further explanation or apology. The tone was extremely unfriendly, which I find very unfortunate. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant and will never go again.

Family-run hotel with a restaurant for Italian specialties. Everything is just right here. We had a nice, large, very clean room with a balcony. There are enough parking spaces available. The very friendly and helpful hosts made our stay sweeter. A rich breakfast buffet with everything you could wish for and special requests are also happy to be fulfilled. The beautiful location, the summer garden and the restaurant where you can enjoy Italian specialties complete the whole thing. Here the boss cooks himself, using fresh ingredients. All the dishes that left the kitchen looked delicious and lovingly prepared. We also had an excellent meal and ended the evening in the summer garden! Thank you for the great time, we will definitely be back!

We didn't stay as it no longer had availability. We had dinner. Italian cuisine, refined and plentiful. Excellent welcome: Mrs Beatrice also gave us some tips for places to visit. Pleasant evening, we will return this evening.

The hotel is actually very nice and well located. But the owners seem completely overwhelmed. No money is invested in the maintenance of the building and unfortunately the rooms are not really clean either. We had a holey bedsheet, cobwebs and dust in the room. Not only the outside area looks very untidy, but also some places in the hotel. For example, you can find withered plants, Easter decorations and poinsettias. For breakfast there were baked rolls, which were baked again the next day. In general the breakfast was inferior. That was also the reason why we didn't want to try the restaurant.

At the same time, only booking a seat was the reason for personal presence. However, the kind, courteous, polite hospitality - which I also read about in the comments - has already shown itself! The environment ... just one word: wonderful! We are preparing to celebrate my mother's birthday here, as part of a long weekend, but success can already be sealed! Anyone who can, should definitely come here!

The food was delicious. Friendly, fast service. The ambience is clean, bright and inviting. Gladly again.

The island 🏝️ Klause is an excellent Italian restaurant and hotel. The pizza was very authentic and delicious. Really a recommendation ☺️

There are a few 3-star restaurants in Baden-Württemberg, and in the Inseklause you can eat like you have 4 stars. Compliment attitude to life like in Italy

The woman was always super present. She implemented wishes and requirements without comment. He probably asked me 3 times a day if everything was okay. My son treated her super sweetly. The room is clean and tidy. The rolls for breakfast could have been fresh but that's not a bad thing. The dinner was excellent and the cook did it with a lot of love!

We weren't there in the hotel, just in the restaurant for lunch, on Good Friday. We ate fish. It was really, really well made and tasted delicious. We were full and very satisfied. We particularly liked that the food seemed to be freshly cooked and no convenience products were used. We would go there again at any time.

Booked a room here and wanted to cancel at short notice. Cancellation was rejected. No accommodation! Customer service is something else.

I didn't like the pizza that much, I don't know why there were greens on the pizza. Some kind of plant (maybe oregano) that doesn't accompany pizza. Without that the pizza would have tasted better

A very nice accommodation, very nice operators, accommodating and very polite, the food is very good... nothing tk and everything is really hand-made by the chef.... Mario in the best manner... delicious hand-crafted food... has us We really liked it and we would love to come back. The room was great... with a balcony and a view of the Gutach... a former mill... where else is there... Modern and up to date... bathtub and shower with many different programs and underfloor heating... If you're not happy here... you urgently need tutoring... 🙈😂🤗 .

It is a very cozy, lovingly run hotel, in a good location, not far from Triberg, in the Black Forest!

The spaghetti portions are for children, not adults, so they are too small. The pizzas are not too big, the price-performance ratio is not right.

We had a group of nine and stayed for two nights. The dinner we had in the restaurant was fantastic. Our breakfast both mornings was great and the service was first class. The accommodations in the hotel were very good and the location of this hotel was perfect for our visits in the region. Highly recommend!

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort gewesen. Das Essen selbst war lecker, aber nichts besonderes, die Portion jedoch war winzig klein für einen sehr üppigen Preis 2/5 Sterne. Die Einrichtung war schön, aber nicht besonders. 3/5 Die Bedienung war nett, jedoch nicht überschwänglich oder auffällig freundlich. 3/5 Es war ein schöner Abend, würde bei diesen Preisen und mit Hunger im Gepäck jedoch nicht nochmal kommen.

Die beiden Betreiber, sie macht den Service und er ist in der Küche sind beides Künstler, so herzlich und liebevoll. Das Essen ist top, und eben kein eingedeutschter Italiener. Hier bekommt man Qualität und die liebe zum Detail schmeckt man auch in jedem Gericht. Die Vorspeisenplatte war einfach der Hammer und ich hatte die Pizza mit gegrilltem Gemüse und Pinienkernen, als extra habe ich noch roher Schinken darauf bestellt. Es war einfach köstlich.

Das besondere italienische Restaurant, mit toskanische Einschlag, Speisen mit hochwertigen Zutaten in besonderer Kombination, wo gibt es sonst u. A. Pizza mit Mortadella u Pistaziencreme, einfach lecker!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Inselklause! Das Frühstück ist klein, aber völlig ausreichend. Es gibt jeden Morgen Kaffeespezialitäten und auf Wunsch Eier. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben einen großzügigen Balkon. Wer hier Urlaub macht, muss unbedingt im Restaurant essen, 10 von 5 Sternen für die Pizzen! Die Gastgeber sind super nett, zuvorkommend und erfüllen nach Möglichkeit alle Wünsche. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

10 giorni in luglio meravigliosi passati con Bea e Mario proprietari simpatici e molto disponibili, cordialità simpatia e disponibilità ad altissimo livello. Bella posizione per visitare la foresta nera e per rimanere in "contatto" con una buona cucina italo toscana che da queste parti non fa mai male! Consigliatissimo!

Tolle frische Pizza, feine Zutaten, leckere Pasta, Bruschetta, Salate, bis jetzt hat uns alles sehr überzeugt! Wer eine gute frische Pizza sucht ist hier richtig! Außerdem immer wieder was Neues auf der Karte und auch wer wie ich kein Fleisch ist wird garantiert fündig!

Ich habe dieses kleine Restaurant auf TripAdvisor entdeckt. Es ist klein, aber fein. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Gemüsepinsa hervorragend und absolut frisch. Der Beilagensalat delikat abgeschmeckt. Das Restaurantpublikum von alleine bis zur Gruppe und vom Biker bis zum Trachtenpaar. Für mich absolut zufriedenstellend, deshalb 4 Sterne.

Super bonne cuisine italienne, produits frais et de qualité, je recommande vivement ce restaurant nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Sehr netter Service und super Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Wir hatten eine Forelle und Gnocci mit Lachs, welches beides hervorragend geschmeckt hat und trotz Warnung ruckzuck serviert wurde. Auch die Bruschetta sind super lecker! 💯 absolute Empfehlung!!

Super nettes, familiengeführtes Hotel. Die Inhaber sind total lieb und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Man kann dort auch zu Abend essen. Das war tatsächlich herausragend. Richtig klasse! Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Blick vom Balkon und war gemütlich. Die Einrichtung mag etwas veraltet sein, wir haben uns aber durchweg wohl gefühlt.

Sehr heimiliges Restaurant, nicht sehr groß, aber gemütlich. Die Inhaber kümmern sich selbst um den Service und die Küche. Das Essen ist eine Mischung aus italienisch und deutscher Küche. Die Pizzas sind ausgefallen und sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren mit 11 Personen zum Abendessen in der Inselklause. Wir mussten relativ lange auf die Karte und die Getränkebestellung warten. Die Bedienung (Inhaberin) hat uns daraufhin erzählt, dass sie kein Personal finden und dass sie und ihr Mann das Restaurant und das kleinen Hotel alleine führen. Leider hört man in letzter Zeit sehr oft, dass kein Servicepersonal gefunden wird. Das Essen hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Wir haben alle unterschiedliche Pasta gegessen und waren alle sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Total freundlicher Empfang. Hotel liegt an der B 500, die man aber nachts nicht hört. Direkt an unzähligen Wanderwegen. Bushaltestelle direkt am Hotel. Frühstück alles da was das Herz begehrt. Große, schöne, saubere Zimmer. Abendessen war sehr gut. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Unfreundlich,ich bestellte eine Calzzone der Käse fehlte komplett, auf meine frage zum Servicepersonal wo der Käse sei meinte sie nur der ist drinnen ich zeigte ihr den Inhalt worauf sie nicht mal richtig schaute .

Erg goed eten, zowel Italiaans als Duitse keuken. Vriendelijk bediening die het wel druk heeft omdat de eigenaar zelf in de keuken staat, en de eigenaresse de bediening doet. Zeker een aanrader om te gaan eten, in deze corona-tijd is reserveren aan te bevelen.

Het eten is hier geweldig. Het italiaanse stel wat het hotel runt staan ook in de keuken en koken kunnen ze! De overnachtingen waren ook goed. Erg fijn bed, schone kamers, mooi balkon. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar al is het alleen maar om te eten

wir haben am freien Tisch draußen gewartet bis die Bedienung kommt..vergeblich. War garnicht so viel los in der Wirtschaft, nur paar Biertrinker. nach 20 Minuten ging ich rein und wollte Toilette besuchen und schauen, wo die Bedienung steckt. Ich dürfte nicht WC besuchen, ich müsste "warten bis die Kellnerin Bestellung aufgenommen hat", und..."das dauert noch ca Stunde" Na danke.., dann sind wir gegangen

Liked · Schön gelegen. An der Strasse gelegen, aber ruhig da Zimmer mit Aussicht auf Berg und Bach. Schönes aber kleines Zimmer (Breg). Angeblich spitzen Küche, konnten aber leider nicht probieren (siehe unten). Frühstück (Corona) ganz gut. Disliked · Personal etwas harsch, wir fühlten uns nicht wilkommen. (Als wir zu Abendessen bleiben wollten, erfuhren wir etwas harsch - Sei haben nicht reserviert, wir sind voll. Auf die Nachfrage, wann wir doch kommen könnten erhielten wir die Antwort - 20:00 Uhr oder später, aber keine Garantie. Wir sagten, wir würden uns anstellen und sehen wie sich die Lage entwickelt. da wir noch etwas Zeit bis 20:00 Uhr hatten, sind wir in den Wald und sind dann in der Nachbarortschaft gelandet, erstmals auf ein Bier, dann haben wir dor auch gegesen. Zurück im Hotel haben wir uns dann angehört - Ich habe für Sie reserviert, aber egal. Und das wieder in etwas harschem Ton.)

Die italienischen Gastgeber überzeugen mit einer authentisch, italienischen Küche. Während meines Aufenthalts in Schönwald war ich hier mehrfach essen und habe es jedes Mal genossen. Leckere Pasta, gutes Fleisch, hervorragende Pizza. Die Gasträume sind modern und im Garten sitzt man prächtig - auch wenn die B500 am Grundstück verläuft. Der offene Wein könnte etwas anspruchsvoller sein. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind eher günstig. Im übrigen hat die Inselklause ihren Namen auf Grund des Erbauers einem Gastwirt von der Insel Rügen, der nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg dort seine Inselklause errichtete. Die Inselklause liegt direkt an der Gutach und verfügt über eine kleine Insel in dem Gewässer, das weniger Kilometer später die Triberger Wasserfälle speist. Hier kann man schöne Stunden bei gutem Essen verbringen.
