Pizzeria Hellas Grill in Velbert

Very nice staff and the food tastes very good.

We were in Velbert last week to pick something up, and on the way we were hungry for a good snack. Had a quick look at GM and decided to drive to the Hellas Imbiss Grill. Shortly afterwards we were there and received a friendly welcome, lots of free parking spaces (by comparison, parking in Cologne is a disaster) right next door, a very friendly, bright and family-friendly place to eat. Very loving host family (which is rare!) You can sit inside or outside, have good portions, very fair prices and the fries as well as the pita were very tasty! So don't hesitate to go if you're nearby👌

If you have no demands and are jaded about bad cuisine, this is the right place for you. I can only agree with the reviews here, so much arrogance... it doesn't deserve a visit. Everything should be right and harmonious. SO you lose your appetite.

The curry sauce for the currywurst was totally watery. Unfortunately I can't say more. I threw away the sausage.

Super arrogant Greek family who can't do anything, substandard food, lots of ready-made products... old fries, greasy "and super unfriendly, please don't visit, even the tzatziki is ridiculous" if you're looking for a good Greek in Velbert, go to kitsas, annoying but "here you'll be ripped off"

One of the best Greek places in the area. Decent portions, very good quality, friendly staff. You can eat there or take the food with you. Prices at today's normal level.

First of all: CASH PAYMENT ONLY Yesterday I was looking for a Greek restaurant/grill and ended up here based on the reviews. We had the grill platter with a portion of tzatziki. Gyros were very tasty with great meat quality (most competitors fail with the latter alone...), souflaki and steak were perfectly grilled and not too dry and the salad was fresh with a delicious dressing. The tzatziki was fresh and nice and airy and tasted great with just a few cucumbers and garlic. Fries were also very tasty. The quantity was more than sufficient and the price was cheap to reasonable for the quantity and quality. All in all, a round of 5 stars for the food and the very friendly, attentive and quick staff. Definitely coming back!

Very clean snack bar, nice people and great atmosphere! Everything is freshly prepared, it takes a while if you haven't ordered in advance...but it's good! I liked it very much and the price is reasonable these days, thanks for such delicious gyros gratinated! Will come back, no question! 😋🥰👋🏻

The door to the beautiful outside area is always open so it gets cool in the restaurant.

An arrogant reception. There is a draft at your seat and if you point this out you will be looked at even more arrogantly. Card payment suddenly no longer seems possible with the statement that it would never have been possible before. But no signage either. You'll be taken for a fool if you ask questions about it. All in all...not recommended.

I then had to go and get cash to pick up my pre-ordered food. In 2024 I find it impossible that you won't be able to pay cashless, sorry.

Unser Lieblings-Grieche! Ein Mehrgenerationen geführter Imbißbetrieb, wo das Essen seit wir ihn kennen, (9 Jahre) immer lecker schmeckt und eine gleich gute Qualität hat. Gyrosteller, -Pita, Pizza Hellas oder Schnitzel, sehr zu empfehlen. Hier schmeckt es auch ganz vielen anderen, denn es ist immer gut besucht. Der überdachte Anbau lädt zum verweilen ein. Wer Essen mitnehmen will, sollte vorher telefonisch bestellen und dann selber abholen. Das vermeidet die Wartezeit vor Ort, weil wie bereits erwähnt, hier schmeckt's nicht nur uns!

Hier kann man wirklich sehr gut Essen.

Sehr leckeres Gyros gibt es dort. Preis/Leistung ist okay, die Preise sind nicht so abgehoben wie bei manch anderem Imbiss, dafür sind die Portionen aber auch nicht riesig. Das Ambiente ist für einen Imbiss schon sehr ansprechend.

Super gute Pommes, Geheimtipp ist der Bohnensalat.

Überbackenes Schnitzel war super, Gyros ohne Pommes etwas verloren auf dem großen Teller (nicht zu viel). KöPi vom Fass lecker nach einer kleinen Wanderung. Nettes Ambiente im Wintergarten.

Wir waren hier montags und haben leckere Gyros-Pizza gegessen. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Ich kenne den Laden und die Betreiber seit 30 Jahren, auch schon aus dem früheren Laden 500m weiter oben. Der Senior war schon immer ein Griesgram. Der Sohn am Pizzaofen macht das im Umgang wett. Die Qualität des Essens ist und war nie zu beanstanden. Mittlerweile stören mich allerdings Preisentwicklung und die parallel reduzierte Menge des Essens. Wenn man sich preislich Richtung Restaurant mit Mittagstisch und tagespreisreduzierten Gerichten am Abend (Schnitzeltag, Steaktag) bewegt, muss man sich auch qualitativ und quantitativ mit dieser Konkurrenz messen lassen. Da fällt der Imbiss mittlerweile hinten runter. Wer eine Portion Pommes in Restaurants und Imbisstuben auf ca. 15 Stäbchen reduziert, um mehr Ertrag zu erwirtschaften, spart meines Erachtens am falschen Ende. Schade.

Sehr nette Bedienungen. Super leckeres Essen. Ambiente ist auch Top. War heute mit meinen 3 Jungs da und sind bestens behandelt worden. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Eine Pommesbude mit der Möglichkeit vor Ort zu essen. Soweit nichts ungewöhnliches, aber hier ist vor allem der Außenbereich sehr schön gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut, das Essen lecker und bezahlbar. Leider wohne ich zu weit weg, um Hellas zur Lieblingspommesbude zu machen.

Solides und leckeres Griechisches Essen. Lecker Gyros, Salat etc. Sehr schöner Laden von innen. Hell und modern. Nette Bedienung und schneller Service. Saubere Toiletten. Parken kann man vor der Türe. Im Sommer gibt es eine Außenterrasse zum sitzen. Man kann vor Ort essen oder sein Essen mitnehmen. Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung. Gutes Mittelfeld.

Sehr gut zum Bestellen und selbst abholen. Lieferservice gibt es bisher nicht. Alles mit Gyros ist sehr gut.

Sehr saubere Toiletten und Gasträume trotz hohen Kundenandrang.! Top! Eine moderne Terrasse ist auch vorhanden!

Essen kann man dort gut und schmeckt auch sehr gut,nur die Portionen sind zu klein und dem entsprechen zu teuer ,so richtig Kinderfreundlich naja..und es müsste sich etwas am Service Personal ändern,mehr Freundlichkeit wäre schön

Wir gehen regelmäßig zum Hellas Grill und verbringen hier unsere Mittagspause. Gyros immer schön knusprig und Pommes sowie man sie vom Griechen kennt. Preisleitung ok.

Das Essen ist durchschnittlicher Pommesbuden-Standard, ist OK. Nicht OK ist die Unfreundlichkeit, mit der man hier vom Chef bedient wird. Ich werde ihn dann in Zukunft in Ruhe lassen und nicht mehr behelligen.

Nach dem Umzug direkt neben Lidl und Trinkgut hat die Lokalität leider nachgelassen. Sicherlich kann man dort schön draußen sitzen und auch die Inneneinrichtung ist ansprechend. Nach Anfänglicher Begeisterung wurden wir doch recht schnell enttäuscht. Der Salat besteht nur aus 3 Blättern umd die Portionen sind auch sonst geschrumpft. Zusätzlich begegnete man uns recht unfreundlich... Schade.

Das beste Gericht der griechischen Küche, dass ich je gegessen habe war die Gyros Pita hausgemacht. Zudem glänzt der Laden mit sehr großen und großzügig belegten Pizzen jeder Art!

Seit Jahren im Ortsteil Bonsfeld ansässig. Seit Jahren auch mit guter Qualität. Zeit muß man jedoch schon mitbringen, denn die Fastfood werden sorgsam zubereitet.
