Sehr leckeres Essen, hausgemachte griechische Speisen und sympathische Inhaberfamilie. Auf jeden Fall wird man gut satt. Waren sehr positiv überrascht. Deutlich besser als der 0815 "griechische Durchschnitt".

Heute war uns mal wieder nach Platon. Im Gegensatz zu „unseren anderen Griechen“ hat dieses Restaurant nichts von einem Imbiss. Die Speisekarte enthält viele griechische Gerichte, die auch unter neuer Leitung nichts von ihrer Qualität eingebüßt haben. Alles frisch zubereitet, Salat gibt es vorne weg. Dennoch geht es zügig. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist ok, der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich.

In den letzten Monaten war ich ein paar Mal dort. Eigentlich wollte ich nicht mehr hin, aber durch sozialen Druck war es letzte Woche wieder so weit. Wir waren zu dritt, hatten alle Pizza. Wir haben nach der Bestellung etwa eine Stunde gewartet bis sie kamen. Die Böden waren zäh, dafür am Rand angebrannt, ließen sich mit dem Messer nur sehr schwer schneiden. Rückmeldung nach dem Essen wurde mit Schulterzucken quittiert. Bei den letzten zwei Malen hatte ich Bifteki. Einmal ziemlich klein, beide Male lauwarm, hätte heißer sein sollen. War kein Genuss.

Man kann in diesem Restaurant sowohl drinnen als auch draußen in der Fußgängerzone sitzen. Beides ist zu empfehlen. Die Einrichtung im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm und schlicht gehalten. Das Personal ist freundlich und gibt Tipps zum Essen und beantwortet Fragen sehr gerne. Die Karte ist nicht zu groß und bietet alles was das Hers begehrt: Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte, Gerichte vom Grill, vegetarisch... Die Gerichte schmecken sehr gut und das Flisch vom Grill ist sehr saftig und nicht, wie so oft beim Griechen, tot gegrillt. Auch die Weine schmecken sehr gut. Bei den Öffnungszeiten an Sonntagen wird flexibel gehandelt, was die Mittagspause betrifft. Sind Gäste da, wird das Restaurant nicht geschlossen und man fühlt sich auch keineswegs unwillkommen.

We often buy doner kebabs here. The bread is homemade, and the doner tastes fantastic! Last time, on the recommendation of friends, we ordered a cake. Visually, the cake was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, the taste inside wasn't quite what we expected. We had ordered raspberry, but it tasted very faintly of raspberry, and the cream was similar to meringue. But that's a matter of taste. We are very grateful to the team for the excellent service.

Thomasstraße 2BWe have been ordering from Kitos for a long time and were generally very satisfied. But recently the quality has declined. There is much less there than before. We ordered from there again just last night and were looking forward to it. When the food arrived, I was surprised why the dishes were so light. When I took the lid off, I realized that the bowl was only half full. Usually you fill yourself up from one portion, but yesterday we had so little in the bowl that I ended up cooking afterwards. You don't cut back on the quantity, you increase the price. That would make it no longer worth ordering. Last week we ordered something too and they only gave us one portion of fries instead of the two stated. We still had to pay full price. We are really happy with you, but if it's always like this, we'll have to order somewhere else. We were so looking forward to the food yesterday and in the end we were disappointed. That's not what you're used to at Kito's. We really like ordering from you, but unfortunately not like this. We ordered the potato casserole with broccoli last night. There were only two small pieces of broccoli in the bowl. I was very disappointed. Such a shame.

Lohbachstraße 8We had two pizzas again today. They're absolutely fantastic. Crispy crust, generous toppings, and in my opinion, too cheap 😉. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is okay. It's a snack bar, after all, not a fancy restaurant. If it weren't so fattening, we'd be there much more often.
