Was there today? with my wife. So, dinner. If I were a restaurant tester. I would have given this place a 1. Plus. With multiple stars. Great food, super nice chef. The staff too. Very nice. So. This place. I can only recommend it.

Giulio is the warmest host. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's one of the best pizzerias in Frankfurt.

Four of us ate there. The owner and the staff were truly extremely friendly and welcoming. The appetizers were delicious, which is unfortunately not a given these days. All our requests were met. And the food was absolutely delicious. The pizza and pasta were both very good. We would go back anytime. Anyone who likes Italian cuisine will definitely be in the right place.

The food was incredibly delicious, the pizza base was crispy, as it should be, and the toppings were generous. We were very pleased with the welcome from the kitchen and the espresso at the end, thank you very much. We will definitely be back.

Because of the extremely good reviews, I wanted to try the place and naturally had high expectations. The service was super friendly, but that was about it. The pizza was average, and the atmosphere, depending on where you get a seat, ranged from pleasant to "adventurous." The prices for the pizza and the location were also rather high. The drinks menu was very limited: no wine or beer.

A cozy place with attentive service, but unfortunately the pizza was just average for all of us and not something we'll particularly remember.

Traditionale Giulio Pizzeria – a true slice of Italy in Frankfurt! Not only is the pizza legendary here, but so is the pasta! I ordered pasta and was delighted: freshly prepared, perfectly al dente, with a rich, homemade sauce and the finest ingredients. The service was warm and attentive. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. For me, this is one of the best places in Frankfurt for enjoying traditional Italian cuisine.

"Experiential dining" is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Pizzeria Giulio. It's located in the middle of an industrial park, a bit hidden for those unfamiliar with the area. But once you find it, you enter a small shop and are warmly greeted by the owner himself. Everyone is friendly, and orders are taken quickly. A delicious welcome from the kitchen shortens the wait until the main course arrives. When it's ready, you get delicious pizza and pasta, seafood, and steak. Everything is handmade and tastes very good. The price is reasonable. We'll be happy to come back.

After we had enjoyed the truly excellent meal and were about to pay, the chef approached us and insisted that we pay nothing. We've never experienced such a gesture before, and it impressively demonstrates how hospitable Pizzeria Giulio is. For me, Pizzeria Giulio is not only the best pizzeria in Frankfurt, but even in all of Hesse. Every visit begins with a warm welcome from Giulio himself, and his team also impresses with their friendliness and attentiveness. I particularly like the fact that Giulio regularly visits personally, checks on things, and continually thanks guests – a level of service that is rare. The culinary quality is world-class: The Pizza Giulio is a real highlight, as is the Pasta Giulio for two people. Only two points could be improved: Firstly, the prices were raised slightly a few months ago, and secondly, the restaurant is located in an industrial area, which makes the overall ambiance less inviting. With a nicer setting, the rating would definitely be 11/10!

The food was incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, we had to wait 50 minutes. And our surf and turf only had three prawns on it, which cost €45. I think that's a bit steep. The restrooms aren't clean at all. The manager is really friendly. The salad was okay.

THE best pizza in Frankfurt! If you don't let the location put you off, you'll get one of the best pizzas in Frankfurt. The chef greets everyone personally and makes you feel welcome. When you arrive at your table, you're immediately served homemade bread with incredibly delicious dips. From ordering to the pizza on your table, it takes less than 10-15 minutes (even when the restaurant is full). For me, the pizza ticks all the boxes: fluffy crust, thin base, delicious tomato sauce, cheese and then toppings, and fresh mozzarella as a topping after baking. Most importantly: 2 people, one drink each, and one pizza = €30! I recommend a visit to everyone.

Based on the many positive reviews, I was expecting something delicious and was disappointed. The food isn't bad, but it's not something you absolutely have to try. The staff are very helpful. I didn't find the ambiance at all inviting. It's very cramped and cramped, in a small, homemade-looking hut in a very ugly neighborhood that doesn't exactly invite you to eat.

I was really surprised by how good the pizza was – super thin, crispy base and truly delicious ingredients, nothing pre-made or overdone. Just right. The place is relaxed, nothing fancy, but cozy, and the people there are super friendly. You immediately feel at home. I really had the feeling the food here is cooked with passion. This definitely won't be my last visit.

Hello and good evening dear friends and those interested in good taste. I was once again at Pizzeria Giulio, which presents itself as Italian. What can I say, again very embarrassing, I had planned to invite a future business partner there for dinner. But I was there beforehand and spoke to the owner and gave him more than enough money in advance and said, no matter what the cost, he should please not collect any money in front of my guest as otherwise he would be embarrassed. He refused and told me several times in Italian and German, no problem, I should eat and pay the money/the bill later or tomorrow. I thanked him warmly and it was very surprising and primitive, he didn't keep his word and when we wanted to leave he pressured us to pay, saying: Here's the bill and he did that very often and in a domineering manner. What's even worse is the pasta he made for us was much more than al dente, already overcooked, completely soft, and the Pesto Genovese was drowned by just cream and was just sweet. Nothing has changed from before. The quality has just gotten worse, he's become a liar, and the new dough is only sweet like Pizza Hut's. Unfortunately, that's not what my future business partner and I are going to do. Never, ever go there again. I advise everyone against it; don't let yourself be fooled by the cheap prices and these little touches. 😑😶😔😪😥😭🤯😡👎👎👎👎👎

Simply great, but unfortunately always full

The pizza was a pleasant surprise: excellent dough with the right texture, balanced taste and quality ingredients. Everything was prepared at a high level. We were especially pleased with the good price-quality ratio. We will definitely order again - a very worthy option!

When we were there, it was quite busy due to an event. The service team was nevertheless very friendly and welcoming. The food is a bit above average, but nothing exceptional. The pizza crust was a bit too crispy and dry for my taste. The arrabbiata was good and actually spicy. Due to the lack of card payment (2025!), I'd give it a 3 star rating, but the friendly service and fair prices bring it back up to 4 stars.

To end a busy workday on a high note, a colleague and I tried out Pizzeria Giulio, a well-known spot on social media. After a warm handshake from Giulio himself, we were escorted to our table. We both enjoyed the famous Giulio Pasta Pizza and were delighted by both the presentation of the dishes and the excellent quality. The food and service were truly excellent. Neither of us has ever had a meal like this in Frankfurt before. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit :-)

Until you arrive at the door, you don't really expect much, given the setting—right in the middle of Frankfurt's eastern industrial area. Inside, the pizzeria impresses with a cozy, pleasant atmosphere in a typical Italian trattoria style. The service staff is super friendly, and the menu is very varied with seasonal specials. Both pizza and pasta, as well as salads (gigantic and fresh!)—and of course, the house highlight, "Pizza Giulio," made with pasta AND pizza—were incredibly delicious. Absolutely a HOT TIP, we'd go back! The only drawback: no card payments.
