Pizzeria Giulio in Frankfurt am Main

We've been loyal customers of Giulio's for years and have always been very satisfied. From the very beginning, when he still had his small shop, we've appreciated his pizzeria. The quality was always top-notch, the service friendly, and the food simply delicious. However, we've noticed on our last few visits that the quality has declined somewhat – both in terms of taste and service. This is probably due to increased demand and the resulting overwhelm. That's a shame, because we know things can be better. Giulio often asks for feedback, so I hope he takes this criticism to heart. Otherwise, it remains a great pizzeria with a fantastic chef who always welcomes his guests warmly. Despite everything, I still recommend it!

Brutally good pizza, I got some for myself and my colleagues today, we all loved it.

I combined my lunch today with a short consultation. First of all, I received a very warm welcome from the manager. Guilio handles everything very professionally. I'm not a big pizza eater, but the pizza was excellent. Even though we won't be able to do business together in the future, Giulio's food was a hit. 🔥🔥🔥

Morbidly great restaurant. Simply an icon of our chain store. Our Nusret from Frankfurt. Outstanding food, portion and price. Simply unbeatable. At any other restaurant you will pay at least twice as much for poorer quality.

I used to enjoy being a guest at Guilio, but recently things have gotten worse. The pizzas still taste the same as always, but they seem monotonous - there is always arugula on top, which offers little variety. My pasta was also way too salty, which spoiled the enjoyment. The ambience is no longer what it used to be. The seats are worn out, the restroom is not well maintained, and overall the restaurant feels run down. It used to be cozy and well-kept here, but now it lacks cleanliness and atmosphere. It's a shame - I hope things improve here soon!

The ultimate pizzeria A culinary delight, the food here is prepared with love and absolute skill Showing up spontaneously is bad, you should make a reservation in order to get a chance. The local was clean and the food was very good, but also inexpensive. The surroundings take some getting used to, but once you get into the place you won't notice the industry from the outside.

We were there today for the first time, the owner was very nice and friendly. Although the place is a bit out of the way, the food is like traveling through Italy, nice that there is someone who can recreate Italian flavors. My daughter said it was small but cool! And I can confirm this, because when kids eat it, it's really tasty and cheap. I can recommend it with a clear conscience and best regards. Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort, der Besitzer ist sehr nett und freundlich. Obwohl das Lokal etwas klein ist, erinnert das Essen an eine Reise nach Italien. Schön, dass es jemanden gibt, der italienische Aromen nachkochen kann. Meine Tochter sagte: "Klein, aber fein! Und ich kann das bestätigen, denn wenn die Kleinen alles aufessen, ist es wirklich lecker und zu einem guten Preis. Kann ich mit gutem Gewissen und herzlichen Grüßen empfehlen.

Service and food is awesome. The owner runs the shop with passion, you can taste it and notice it. Every guest is greeted personally. The store is full every time I'm there. The focus here is on the quality of the food, less on the look of the store, but that is what gives it its special charm.

I would like to thank the whole team very much. We were at the Pizzeria Giulio on Saturday evening with 10 girls. It was carnival and we were there as part of a bachelorette party. A wild evening! We had a small room to ourselves. The team was extremely friendly and very understanding of our very exuberant behavior. We danced, sang and laughed and behaved rather inappropriately for a restaurant visit. It was great and we let it happen. Thank you for that. We all ordered different pizzas and we agreed it was the best pizza we had had in a long time or ever. The dough is delicious and baked crispy. The pizzas are very generously topped with delicious and fresh products. Really absolutely recommended. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

Super service, everything organic

We traveled from Cologne specifically to experience this pizzeria ourselves because of the fantastic reviews. We were at the door at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. so we could definitely get a table since you can't make a reservation. We were greeted warmly at the door by the boss and taken to the table. As expected, the restaurant is already packed shortly after opening on Friday evening. The free appetizer -- strips of bread with garlic oil and rocket and three kinds of dip -- came shortly after we were assigned our seats and tasted heavenly. We ordered pizza surf and turf and pizza caprese with onion. The pizzas are lavishly topped with many high-quality ingredients. We were so busy eating the delicious food that we barely talked. 😅 Despite the festive enjoyment, we only managed half of it because the portion was really big. The dessert recommended by Chef was a lemon panna cotta with mint pesto and fresh berries. Also a 10/10! A truly refreshing treat that rounded off a successful evening. The waiters were very present and hardworking. The team is well-coordinated and takes good care of the guests' well-being. We are absolutely thrilled and can confirm the other high ratings 100%. Currently Frankfurt's number 1 for Italian cuisine! Bello is not only a really nice guy, but also an outstanding host. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. His food? Not just good - it's MEGA! The surf and turf pizza with buffalo mozzarella is absolutely amazing: airy dough, perfect ingredients, just “tasty”! Here you can feel the passion and the real dolce vita. Bello, you are Frankfurt's number 1 - don't let it slide! Absolute recommendation!

The very good reviews and a personal confirmation from my bro brought me to this store. I'll tell it like it is: Baba! The owner is a baba guy, you are welcomed baba and the pizza is baba! We sat down and talked about whether we wanted to order a starter, but couldn't find anything on the menu...2 minutes later the waiter came with warm bread, olive oil and "other dips"....I don't know exactly what that was, something like spicy Greek or aioli cream. Delicious. I ate Pizza Diavola and it wasn't a Neapolitan pizza or any other "special" pizza...it was just very good! Not too heavy and not too dry. Not too spicy and not too "opposite of spicy in German (?)"... This is a shop that I would really recommend and it really got the Alman out of me when I rated it. Earned.

This is how customer loyalty works! I ordered here for the first time today. When I picked it up, I was offered an additional salad (free) while I waited another 2 minutes for the pizzas. After paying, a drink was pressed on me in a very friendly way. In the end, the pizzas at home tasted great (as well as the salad) and the whole thing was cheap and halal! What more could you want? We will definitely order there again and eat there too. All thumbs up for Giulio and his pizza!

I enjoyed going to Giulios a few years ago when I was still in Bornheim and I was really impressed. The boss with love and passion shows all guests how grateful he is that they eat with him. There is an appetizer made of small slices of bread and mega delicious dips. The pizzas are just crazy. The Pizza Giulio has been my favorite for years and it is an experience every time. I love this pizzeria and recommend it to anyone who wants to try the best pizza in Frankfurt

I ate there today after my course and since I don't know my way around here, the outside of the shop seemed very small, but the inside was great. The service was extremely friendly and everyone was accommodating. The food tasted very good and the inside shop was cramped but very nicely decorated. Overall a 10/10 location.

Guys, I'm telling you: this pizza! One bite and bang – straight away on holiday in Italy. Thin, crispy dough, perfect tomato sauce, cheese that stretches just right - just perfect! All that was missing was for a real Italian to sit next to me and gesticulate loudly. But an Albanian does it too! And the service? Simply great! Friendly, warm and with a hospitality that is rarely found. The guys here aren't Italian, they're Albanian - but honestly? That just makes it even better! This is the best pizza place I've eaten in the last 25 years! I was recommended the shop yesterday and went out to eat again with my wife the next day. I can only recommend this pizzeria; I was in Venice three months ago and ate really good pizzas there, but this pizzeria can easily keep up. And the dips are definitely recommended, especially the garlic dip is awesome!!!!

It's not an exaggeration at all when I say that I ate even better than in Italy. If there were points, I would give it a straight 10 with an asterisk. In general you are treated very warmly, almost like family. In addition, the prices are fair for the quality and portion. I can only warmly recommend everyone to come here!
