Impressive! We received a very friendly welcome at the door and were immediately offered a table inside or outside. The service was exceptionally friendly, competent, and fast. We had pizza, pasta, and salad. Everyone was 100% happy, and the pizza was truly delicious. The welcome from the kitchen at the beginning was another plus. This was our first time here, but definitely not our last!

The best pizza in Frankfurt. If you haven't tried it here, you're missing out. The owner is simply a master of his craft.

Based on the many positive reviews, I was expecting something delicious and was disappointed. The food isn't bad, but it's not something you absolutely have to try. The staff are very helpful. I didn't find the ambiance at all inviting. It's very cramped and cramped, in a small, homemade-looking hut in a very ugly neighborhood that doesn't exactly invite you to eat.

I was really surprised by how good the pizza was – super thin, crispy base and truly delicious ingredients, nothing pre-made or overdone. Just right. The place is relaxed, nothing fancy, but cozy, and the people there are super friendly. You immediately feel at home. I really had the feeling the food here is cooked with passion. This definitely won't be my last visit.

The pizza is truly delicious, the crust is nice and crispy, and the ingredients are fresh. I also particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were beautifully prepared and flavorful. We and our dog received a warm welcome! We were able to choose our preferred table, had plenty of space for the dog, and were immediately offered water. The service was excellent! Fast, attentive, and super friendly! The food tasted absolutely delicious. There was a classic selection of Italian cuisine, but also dishes you won't find at every Italian restaurant. A definite recommendation!

The two of us ate there today. Unfortunately, we misread the opening hours and arrived just as they were closing. The chef was super, super nice and said he'd make us something to eat. The food was incredibly delicious, made with lots of love, and you can really taste it. We were able to eat in peace, and the whole experience was simply wonderful. I was especially pleased with the unexpected appetizer, which was a pleasant surprise on the menu. The service is top notch: Giulio and his team create a truly warm, almost family-like atmosphere. It is felt that they value the traditions of Italian cuisine and use only the best ingredients. Be sure to try the handmade pasta and do not miss the chance to order their signature tiramisu - a real culinary masterpiece! 10/10, I unconditionally recommend it to all connoisseurs of authentic Italian cuisine. So glad I took the train out to this gem. The staff are wonderful, genuinely so excited to see every customer. The owner is hugging old friends and making new ones left and right. Hello and good evening dear friends and those interested in good taste. I was once again at Pizzeria Giulio, which presents itself as Italian. What can I say, again very embarrassing, I had planned to invite a future business partner there for dinner. But I was there beforehand and spoke to the owner and gave him more than enough money in advance and said, no matter what the cost, he should please not collect any money in front of my guest as otherwise he would be embarrassed. He refused and told me several times in Italian and German, no problem, I should eat and pay the money/the bill later or tomorrow. I thanked him warmly and it was very surprising and primitive, he didn't keep his word and when we wanted to leave he pressured us to pay, saying: Here's the bill and he did that very often and in a domineering manner. What's even worse is the pasta he made for us was much more than al dente, already overcooked, completely soft, and the Pesto Genovese was drowned by just cream and was just sweet. Nothing has changed from before. The quality has just gotten worse, he's become a liar, and the new dough is only sweet like Pizza Hut's. Unfortunately, that's not what my future business partner and I are going to do. Never, ever go there again. I advise everyone against it; don't let yourself be fooled by the cheap prices and these little touches. 😑😶😔😪😥😭🤯😡👎👎👎👎👎

Without a recommendation we would not have had a chance to discover this restaurant, from the street it looks like an ordinary bistro in an industrial area. But, great pizza and friendly communicative service. The portions are really big.

When we were there, it was quite busy due to an event. The service team was nevertheless very friendly and welcoming. The food is a bit above average, but nothing exceptional. The pizza crust was a bit too crispy and dry for my taste. The arrabbiata was good and actually spicy. Due to the lack of card payment (2025!), I'd give it a 3 star rating, but the friendly service and fair prices bring it back up to 4 stars.

To end a busy workday on a high note, a colleague and I tried out Pizzeria Giulio, a well-known spot on social media. After a warm handshake from Giulio himself, we were escorted to our table. We both enjoyed the famous Giulio Pasta Pizza and were delighted by both the presentation of the dishes and the excellent quality. The food and service were truly excellent. Neither of us has ever had a meal like this in Frankfurt before. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit :-)

Until you arrive at the door, you don't really expect much, given the setting—right in the middle of Frankfurt's eastern industrial area. Inside, the pizzeria impresses with a cozy, pleasant atmosphere in a typical Italian trattoria style. The service staff is super friendly, and the menu is very varied with seasonal specials. Both pizza and pasta, as well as salads (gigantic and fresh!)—and of course, the house highlight, "Pizza Giulio," made with pasta AND pizza—were incredibly delicious. Absolutely a HOT TIP, we'd go back! The only drawback: no card payments.

I've tried various pizzas and pastas several times for lunch, and I've eaten there once. The taste wasn't convincing. The service in the "restaurant" could be much better, and the dining room was full of flies. That's unacceptable. And if Da Gulio is an Italian pizzeria, I'm the prince of Zamunda... I'll eat somewhere else.

The best pizzeria Frankfurt !!!

I was truly impressed by this pizzeria! The pizza dough was perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The quality of the ingredients immediately reminded me of my last vacation in Italy. I'd like to particularly highlight the fact that all the dishes are halal. Finally, you can treat yourself to a salami pizza without worrying! I opted for the Surf and Turf pizza. At €35, it's a bit more expensive, but you get a great deal: tender shrimp and a medium-grilled beef fillet – very high quality and delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. You immediately felt welcome. The only small downside: The location in the industrial area isn't quite as charming – but you're happy to put up with that for good food.

The positive reviews can't be true. They must be FAKE. There are honest opinions out there that describe the state of affairs at this "pizzeria." Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. One star is definitely too many. The restaurant is invaded by flies. Dining in this condition is anything but pleasant. The menu is sticky. The tables are dirty. There was a hair in my salad that wasn't mine. The chicken ham is of poor quality. It has little to do with an Italian restaurant. I will never go there again.

A "small" but nice place in the middle of an industrial area. The staff was super friendly, courteous, and attentive. Luckily, we were seated without a reservation on a Friday evening, even though there were a lot of people coming and going. The starter was outstandingly good and had already convinced us that we had chosen a real local for our dinner. But when our pizzas arrived, this was confirmed again. A very good selection and some creative combinations, like the pizza with honey. We really enjoyed it, and we understand the excellent reviews. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back!

I visited "Pizzeria Giulio" because of its strong online presence and the many positive reviews – unfortunately, the on-site experience was a complete disappointment. The restaurant presents itself online as a modern, authentic pizzeria, but it turns out to be a simple snack bar with little atmosphere and none of the charm of traditional Italian restaurants. The menu is extremely limited, and the prices are unreasonably high. The dishes themselves were completely unconvincing in terms of taste – the quality was disappointing, the pizza experience bland and far from what one would consider authentic Italian cuisine. Added to this, the hygiene level is questionable: During my visit, the dining room was besieged by flies, which made the meal unpleasant. This propeller was placed there to "fight" all the flies. Shortly after eating, I felt unwell, which further worsened the overall impression. The huge discrepancy between online presence and reality raises questions – it seems as if significantly more is invested in marketing than in quality, cleanliness, or hospitality. Unfortunately, you won't find authentic Italian cuisine here. Conclusion: Anyone looking for authentic taste, ambiance, and quality will be bitterly disappointed at "Pizzeria Giulio." But you can just tell: The place isn't what it used to be. The service was a disaster. We had already ordered, but other guests who arrived after us got their food before us. Something is definitely wrong. The conditions in the restaurant seem unhygienic and generally neglected. There's dirt everywhere, and you can't miss it. On top of that, you still can't pay by card, and it's 2025. In a remote location, that's really inconvenient and raises questions. What disappointed me even more was the pizza itself. It used to be generously topping, but now they've cut costs considerably. The taste isn't what it used to be either. I honestly feel sorry for Giulio, a passionate person who built this pizzeria with so much love. But the team around him and the recent developments really make me sad. The last two visits were simply disappointing, and I say that even though I'm not usually someone who writes bad reviews. I really hope things change. But the way things are now, I can't recommend it anymore.

The Instagram profile advertises an authentic Italian pizza, but it reminds me more of a pizza from a kebab shop. Without pork, you can't really call it authentic Italian ingredients. Furthermore, a real Italian restaurant offers alcoholic beverages. A Spotify playlist of Italian music is playing, and the waiter greeted us with "Bonasera"—all super inauthentic. Not recommended.
