If I could, I would give zero stars. Ambience, service and last but not least the quality - simply bottomless. I ate the worst spaghetti ice cream in all of Nuremberg here. (Far too sweet, it was yellow(?!) and had coconut flakes as a topping?) How you can generally call the food "Italian" remains a mystery to me...

The service is underground! You immediately feel unwanted 20 seconds after sitting down. Very tasty food but not great service! Most of the time the waiters are good, but there is one waiter who always has a dissatisfied face. He looks like an older man, he doesn't behave politely, doesn't say hello/bye, doesn't ask if we're okay, and he always has an angry face! After such a staff I don't want to visit the restaurant anymore. (I worked in a restaurant myself and could have been fired for such behavior. You have to treat visitors with respect.)

A few days before my birthday I made a reservation for about 8 people. I asked if I could also bring a cake. (Of course I would also buy large family pizzas, fries and drinks from them.) Their answer was yes. On the day of my birthday I came a little early and told him I had a cake and asked him if I could put it in the fridge. The answer was no, we don't have one 😅 - strange but then a man put the cake with the drinks. I was the first to arrive and said that the guests were still coming, then I got a stupid answer. OK. When everyone arrived we ordered all the food. (we also asked for extra plates and cutlery, at least napkins) then we heard stupid sayings again. When everyone had finished eating, no one from the staff even tried to put anything away. Instead, we put everything away, even though staff was available. When we got the cake 🎂, I asked again for cutlery, this time we had plastic cutlery and had to eat from our (old) plates. The owner of the pizzeria was in a pretty bad mood. I kept hearing bad sayings. My conclusion: Food great but the staff -1 star if there was one.

So pizza and food are super tasty and that's what matters. I wouldn't recommend eating there. Service is underground. I hope the owner does something, the chefs don't deserve that.

Everything is fine, food is delicious, I have known the owner for years, but the waiter there is also a long-standing, unfriendly man who is of Indian origin, I think he doesn't have an unnecessary discussion with him every time. He scares customers away from the store. So unfriendly. You can order online, receive an order confirmation by email but the order never arrives. On the phone you are then rudely informed that they don't deliver to the address and that we must have ordered somewhere else. Sorry guys, check your own website and email address. Small and cozy, the food, regardless of type, is always very tasty. You are warmly welcomed and receive great service. In terms of taste, every dish here is well served. The portions are large and you will be full. Ice cream here is also very tasty. All around a great little Italian Clear recommendation Price performance is very fair

I was just there, as always, I wanted to order my pizza with more fruit kalzione. I ordered pizza salami kalzione. I complained and was then treated very unfriendly by the waiter. Ordered via Lieferando. Food came quicker than expected. Pizza was delicious. But drinks were delivered incorrectly. I got wheat beer instead of pilsner. No response to complaint...

Went there for years, but in the last few months the quality of the food and especially the service has declined. When we last ordered via Lieferando and chose the burger without a side dish (choice between potato wedges and fries), the burger arrived without lettuce, tomato and cucumber. After inquiring over the phone, we were told that it was normal if you chose something without a side dish and that the rest wouldn't be there either. A joke!

I really can't complain. I both ate there and ordered and ordered for pickup. Pizza was always delicious and the staff was always friendly. I can always rely on that.

Today Friday 04/12/24 23 o'clock ..my pregnant wife eats 1 hour late...lasagne broken...the shop is anti-social...burst...it's...not working people....believe me...

We haven't been there for a long time. Well yesterday for the first time again. What can I say, we were thrilled. From pizza to burgers and veggie burgers to dessert, everything was excellent. The food was on the table quickly. We really enjoyed it. The prices are also completely reasonable. Ambiance very cozy. Service was great. We now make the journey more often to eat well and comfortably. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Food is good. Space is good enough. Service is good if your definition of good is being treated like you are garbage. Not recommended until service learns how to treat customers like humans.

I've never been served as badly in a restaurant as I was at Mario's. The waiter Angelo was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. He clearly transfers this to his guests and seems to hate his job and be forced to work. In addition, it is not possible to pay by card for less than 15€ and that was not stated anywhere, neither inside nor outside!!! I will never enter this restaurant again! The owner's daughter also showed her unsympathetic and very unfriendly character!!! A visit to this restaurant is certainly not recommended!

Huge pizza, super tasty and low price too.

This little man with the glasses is by far the worst waiter I've ever served in my life. The staff is completely unprepared, arrogant and looks down on the customers. It seems like they are doing us a favor by serving us. I definitely won't go back there! I don't find my money in the trash to spend on abuse.

The food was delicious, especially the Diavolo pizza was really spicy. Service was fine, although both waiters obviously had colds. Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer for dessert, but it was definitely worth the wait as it was delicious.

An Italian Restaurant managed by Indian owner. The Pizza's are good. The service can be improved, perhaps a little training? Some of their staff are polite and professional. They have an offer during the noons everyday for pizzas, burgers and pastas.

Meine Erfahrung mit diesem italienischen Restaurant war gut. Die Atmosphäre ist positiv und die Qualität und Quantität des Essens ist hervorragend..mein vorschlag wäre, diese Ort zu besuchen und das essen probieren.

Hier arbeitet das unfreundlichste und unhöflichste Personal was ich je in meinem ganzen Leben erlebt habe! Selbst wenn man den Chef miteinbezieht, greift dieser dem Kunden gegenüber wohlwollend nicht durch. Und diese Aussage beziehe auf mehrere Vorfälle an verschiedenen Tagen. Ich würde sagen Beruf verfehlt, wenn man so mit seinen Kunden umgeht!! Das verdirbt einem letztendlich auch den Appetit.

Coole Pizza und Pasta...wer zum Mittag in der Nähe ist...halber Preis ...und es schmeckt ....

Habe früher oft und gerne hier gegessen. Inzwischen ist es geschuldet an den Kellner ein Ort der Nostalgie, aber keine empfehlenswerte Adresse. Die Portionen sind klein.

Habe schon öfters da bestellt. Jedoch war es das letzte mal da mir jetzt schon zum 3. Mal eine falsche Bestellung aufgedrückt wurde. Beim letzten mal wurde mir dann noch von einem der Angestellten zugesichert, dass ich doch das am Telefon bestellt hätte, obwohl ich weder mit dem Angestellten geredet, noch meine Bestellung über Telefon sondern direkt vor Ort aufgeben habe. Deswegen 2 Sterne für den Service. Das Essen ist auch Durchschnitt. Das einzig wirklich brauchbare ist die Pizza. Das Ambiente erinnert mich eher an eine Jahrmarkt Bude (übertrieben gesagt). Als Musik habe ich dort nur Radio Pop Hits mitbekommen, was dem Ambiente nicht wirklich gut tut. Alles in allem ein eher. Mittel mäßiges Restaurant mit eher unfreundlichem Personal.

Bedienung das letze. Keine lust auf arbeit. Unfreundlich. Bei einer hälft hälft Pizza bestellung verdreht er seine augen. Wir waren fast dabei aufzustehen und zu gehen. Eine weibliche bedienung wäre nach meiner meinung das beste für pizzeria mario.

The taste of pizza is very nice.. the Mittag menu pizzas are not so great, but the regular ones are good and so are other options on the menu.

Die Pizza, die wir uns bestellt haben, war sehr lecker. An diesem Tag war Pizzatag. Was mich im Gegensatz zu anderen Pizzerien sehr gewundert hat, dass alle Pizzen vergünstigt waren. Fand ich super. Was schade war, waren die vielen Wespen. Aber das ist halt mal im Sommer so.

Wir haben wieder nur etwas getrunken. Leider wirkte der Service auch bei unserem 2. Besuch nicht besonders motiviert. Als "Mario" vor 25 Jahren noch "Dario" war, war das hier echt noch ne nette Adresse, auch für nicht Südstadt-Bewohner. Den Außenbereich könnte man sicher ohne viel Aufwand einladender und windgeschützter gestalten.

Supper leckeres 😋 Pizza 🍕 sehr zu empfehlen

Pizza sind sehr lecker auch wenn nur der Name italienisch ist brauchen die Jungs sich nicht zu verstecken super arbeit am Ofen ! Dünner knuspriger Teig wie es sich gehört ! Mittagsangebot ist klasse billige Pizzen nur bißchen weniger drauf! sitzen kann man auch sehr gut.

Wir bewerten hier das Lokal mit dem Service und nicht den Lieferdienst. Wir gehen immer dort essen und haben den Lieferdienst noch nie genutzt. Wir hatten heute Wolfsbarsch mit Salzkartoffeln und Spinat. Dazu einen toll angemachten Beistellsalat. Alles sehr fein in der Küche frisch zubereitet. Echt großes Kino. Wir waren total überrascht von dieser Qualität die man in einer Pizzeria eigentlich nicht erwartet. Nachtrag: Januar 2023 und es gibt eine neue Speisekarte. Und man kann es kam glauben. Keine Preiserhöhung! Top

Haben zur Mittagszeit tolle Angebote und auch dann sehr lecker noch. Und nicht nur des Preises wegen. Auch das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam

Italienischer Salat sehr lecker Einen Punkt Abzug,weil zu viele Autos ganz knapp an den Tisch durch die Fußgängerzone fahren und man die Abgase während des Essens einatmet

Ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Hatte Gnocchi Gorgonzola bestellt und stattdessen Rigatoni bekommen. Und die Nudeln waren nicht mal fertig gekocht. Also nicht al-dente... sondern wirklich nicht fertig gekocht! Die Gorgonzola-Soße war ebenfalls enttäuschend. Fast nur Sahne und viel zu wenig Gorgonzola. Die Pizzen meiner Freunde waren auch eher unterer Durchschnitt. Also ein Eis und einen Cappuccino bestellt. Wenigstens DAS wird man in einem italienischen Restaurant hin bekommen, dachte ich. Leider nein! Nicht wirklich :-/ Wie gesagt... das Essen ist ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Nervigerweise hängt auch eine riesen 80 Zoll Glotze im Restaurant, auf der die ganze Zeit italienischer Schlagerkrampf lief. Auch nicht gerade das, was man bei einem gemütlichen Essen mit Freunden haben will. Daher leider auch nur 2 Punkte fürs Ambiente. Fazit: Wenn man zufällig in der Nähe ist, dann ok. Aber wenn man auf der Suche nach einem wirklich guten Italiener ist, dan fallen mir spontan ein halbes Dutzend bessere ein. Mein Tip: Al Parco oder La Commedia.
