Pizzeria Eiscafé Bistro Conti in Kaarst

Delicious ice cream, super friendly service, family-run, and truly (!) authentic. They even have my beloved chinotto (bitter orange lemonade)... and the espresso is one of the best in the surrounding area. Including Düsseldorf! 👍🏻❤️ Outside, you sit like you're in 1950s Italy on authentic Italian outdoor furniture under a parasol, lush vines carrying grapes above your head... all that's missing is the Italian piazzetta in the background, the sea nearby...! 😎🇮🇹 But it's also possible without it. It's simply a little break from everyday life. Highly recommended!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Shortly before the ice cream parlor opened, customers were already lined up and waiting. That says it all about how popular it is. The ice cream was worth every wait. Very tasty, and the price-performance ratio is also good. 😊

A very nice little bistro, run by a family. There are a few outdoor seats, but it's very nicely decorated. The ice cream is delicious! If you're coming with several people, I highly recommend making a reservation. Parking isn't a problem.

Absolutely recommended! I can't understand the few negative comments here. The pizza was extremely good, the service was exactly what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant, and the value for money was amazing!! I'll definitely be back!

Went there first for ice cream and later for dinner, both dishes were delicious, very nice little bistro with very nice staff

My wife was treated terribly today. She told me I've rarely experienced such unkindness! Since the ice cream was for me, I'd like to emphasize that these tiny scoops and the taste weren't exactly mind-blowing. Absolutely outrageous!

Support your local Italian, there aren't many of them left. Papa Conti is an old school Italian, it would be nice if it stayed that way for a long time.

Me and my family have been on vaccation driving around Germany and ended up here at this pizzeria/ice cream place by pure chance. My family loves ice cream, we eat it several times a week and this spot right here has the best ice cream we’ve had in Germany. I usually don’t write reviews on google but when it’s great people need to know it’s great. Also, they serve alcohol which is great for me because I’m not the one who’s driving 🥳

A gem of a place, with super delicious food and drinks! The owners are very kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels cozy and pleasant. The Sicilian pizza and the spinach tortellini were very very good, and the red Sicilian wine was difficult to stop drinking:) And also the dark beer:)) And if nothing else, make sure to try their pistachio gelato, a treat that will make you smile! Bisher haben Mitarbeiter unseres Teams dort diverse Pizzen gegessen.Ab und an mal auch Pasta. Der Teig der Pizza ist sehr gut, und durch das gute Belegen mit Tomatensauce und einem leckeren Käse, ist die Pizza auch schön saftig. Die Pasta ist beisfest und zerschmilzt im Mund. Portionsgröße ist ideal. Als Nachtisch bestellen wir immer ein Eiscup. Beim Fruchteis schmeckt man die wahre Frucht, straciatella beinhaltet große Schokoladenstücke und nicht nur kleine schokostreusel wie bei manchen anderen Eisdielen. Alles ein voller Genuß. Man merkt das ein richriger Italiener meister in seinem Fach ist. Personal ist sehr nett und nach mehreren Besuchen wird es auch eher persönlich und familiär. Als wäre man in Italien selbst. Und dazu kommt noch, dass die Preise wirklich in Ordnung sind. Sodass unser Team extra von Düsseldorf zum Bistro fährt um eine Hauptspeise und den leckeren Nachtisch zu verzehren. Wir sind ca. zwei mal im Monat dort zu Tisch. Und wir kommen immer wieder. Vielen Dank für alles Bistro Conti
