Pizzeria da Luigi in Mainz

Still the best Italian pizza in Mainz in 2025. Top service.

Food is completely OK, but nothing more. The pizza is a bit soggy if you don't eat it straight away. The wine spritzer could be a little more sparkling. In the summer it's really nice to sit in the courtyard - that's why the 4 stars for ambience. And the service is good.

We always go here after football and the pizza has always been very tasty. Extra requests will be accommodated.

Ordering via Lieferando was a complete disaster: first the order wasn't ready, then the version I wanted was only available in the smaller size (even though the order had already been paid for). When I asked whether I would get the difference refunded, I was told that I should clarify the delivery details. After chat and telephone contact with Lieferando, who do not offer a refund option and referred to the pizzeria for clarification, the difference was grumpily paid to me after several discussions. The store doesn't seem to care about service. Anyone who registers via the delivery service should at least check whether the menu is correct. I can NOT recommend the gluten-free pizza because of its taste, it tastes bland.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't cooked through and there was almost no tomato sauce on it. It's a shame, but unfortunately I don't recommend it...

Twice no. First order, two different pizzas. Both taste technically subpar and only half baked. Will not order there again.

I ordered rigatoni Bolognese. I had to look for the minced meat in vain. Taste was rather below average.

Very tasty pizza - also gluten-free possible. Each pizza is baked in the oven in its own form. However, there is a risk of contamination from the pizza peel when removing it from the mold. We picked up the pizzas on site and asked that the pizza peel be changed or cleaned before using it on the gluten-free pizza. The wish was gladly granted. My daughter has celiac disease and reacts to even trace amounts, but there were no problems after consuming it. The pizzas are nice and thin and crispy. The topping made from fresh ingredients was just the right amount, not too overwhelming but not exactly small either. You can also eat on site with a view of the kitchen and everything looks friendly and clean. We would love to come back again.

Pizza, das man selbst zu Hause backen kann ist eine tolle Idee 😀

Es ist mir ein Rätsel, wie man eine so lieblose und unterdurchschnittlich schmeckende Pizza backen kann. Gebt euch doch mal Mühe mit dem Teig und der Qualität der Zutaten.

Eher Imbisscharakter. Pizzateig nicht durchgebacken, Cola abgestanden - eher keine Empfehlung.

Ist eigentlich eine Abhol-Pizza Station, Karte sehr umfangreich, wir sind in Bretzenheim kulinarisch nicht sehr verwöhnt, man kann bei schönen Wetter hier durchaus hin gehen um draußen eine Pizza zu essen. Ansonsten sollte man sie mit nach Hause nehmen.

Die Pizza schmeckt gut. Allerdings finde ich 2 Euro Aufpreis für glutenfreien Teig nicht angemessen.

The price is realistic, everything is ok. If only the terrace was decorated a little with some details or at least coasters on the table to lift the sterile whiteness. The tiramisù was perfect for me.

Lecker gegessen kann man drinnen und draußen sitzen

Tomatensauce ist entweder zu viel gewürzt( zu viel Pfeffer) oder gar nicht. Es könnte auch mehr Soße bei den Nudeln dabei sein z.B. der Combinazione

Die Pizzen (ich hatte bisher Bolognese, Thunfisch und Zwiebeln sowie Salami) sind leider nur Durchschnitt,nicht schlecht, aber nichts was einen vom Hocker reißt. Die Preise sind relativ hoch,da dürfte es gerne etwas besser schmecken.

Freundliches Personal, Pizza und Getränke müssen selbst an den Tisch gebracht werden. Preise angemessen. Pizza ist okay. Im Moment nur Pizza leider, wegen personalmangel

Die Pizzeria da Luigi ist immer einen Besuch wert. Ob Abholung oder auch im Hof, es schmeckt prima. Außerdem, durch nichts zu toppen, im Fernseher in der Ecke läuft immer RAI. So muss das sein, ein Stück Urlaub im schönen Mz-Bretzenheim.

Die Pizzen sind der absolute Wahnsinn! Sehr gut gewürzt und auch der Teig genau richtig. Schön kross und gleichzeitig nicht zu viel Teig. Gerade die Pizza Rustica ist meine Empfehlung!

Man kann nur abholen, kommt gar nicht ins Lokal rein. Die vorbestellte Pizza wird einem nach draußen gebracht.

Even the big pizza is small. Did not like the dough.

Pizza war super lecker. Und es war angenehm sich dort aufzuhalten. Man musste an der Kasse bestellen, sich selber seine Getränke holen. Essen wurde gebracht. Für den Datenschutz wird hier nichts getan, jeder trägt in einer offenen Tabelle seine Daten ein. Wo ist hier der Datenschutz?? Als ich den Mitarbeiter fragte warum das jeder einsehen kann, bekam ich nur ein Achselzucken. Drin wie draußen sitzt man gut, wobei draußen ist mehr Platz. Was mich etwas gestört hat, das mann die Pizza ohne Handschuhe belegt hat. Toiletten waren sauber und Desinfektionsmittel war vorhanden. Der Chef war sehr nett.
