You can go there if you want to eat something. The food lacked seasoning and the six snails were overcooked and somehow rather bland. Italian is different.

Rustic and inviting atmosphere, with authentic Italian flair. We spent Valentine's Day evening here. The 2 hour stay flew by. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Food came to the table quickly and hot. We had the recommendation of the day brought to us and we were super happy with it. And at the end we were able to enjoy a homemade tiramisu. Prices are quite manageable. We would be happy to come back. Thank you

The staff is very nice and tries to accommodate your every wish. I had a bruschetta as a starter and a seafood pizza as my main course. Despite the seafood, the pizza had a nice crispy base! You have to get that done first! Perfect. I will definitely come here again!

We were there with a larger group and made reservations in advance. You had to approach the staff on your own initiative to get their attention (you can easily miss 9 people) Star deducted because you feel lost. The restaurant was full, so the staff had a lot to do, but the customer shouldn't notice this because of the quality of the food or the inattentive staff. There is understanding and empathy, but there's no question that the food was lukewarm, so it got cold very quickly while you were eating. There is even a 2 star deduction for this. My friend's potatoes were even served cold. The problem was also solved, but it took a really long time that you definitely couldn't wait to eat your meat. So first there was meat and then freshly made potatoes 😋. The lady who served us was really very friendly but we had empty glasses, which made us pay quickly and leave the restaurant. But what should be emphasized positively is that the meat was 1 A 👍

Very nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. There were eight of us there and ate various fish dishes, pasta, pizza and salad. We all enjoyed it very much and we received our food at the same time. Recommendation!

Pleasant atmosphere and good food.

Tortellini alla Panna were initially served without ham and when this was brought up, a new portion was brought with ham. While eating you noticed that the tortellini were completely dry and when the tortellini was opened you could see old and dry meat inside. Even though we didn't finish the portion, we had a stomach ache afterwards... Pasta is definitely not recommended, pizza is much better.

Pizzeria Da Giovanni offers good Italian food and a cozy atmosphere. The service is always very friendly. Both in the guest room and on the terrace you sit like you are in a roundel. I find it cozy here. I think the starters and the pizza are really tasty. Lasagna and pasta dishes are also good. However, these could be a little creamier, i.e. the sauce could have a more dominant taste. It is advisable to reserve a table on the weekend.

Unfortunately, my visit to this pizzeria was very disappointing. First the wrong salad was served and when we noticed this it was reluctantly corrected. In addition, the drink we ordered was completely forgotten and we had to ask several times. Overall, the service was very inattentive and not very customer oriented. It's a shame, because the food could taste better if the service wasn't so chaotic. Probably won't come back."

Large terrace with lots of tables in a relatively quiet residential area. The employees were very accommodating with one exception. The prices are okay for current inflation times. The grilled sea bream there was excellent, better than in any fish restaurant. Pasta also very good.

I've been coming there for over 30 years. Unfortunately, the successor is only half as friendly as his dad. When paying, people looked in a different direction, bored, and no thanks were given for the tip. You didn't feel particularly welcome. But at least the food was okay.

Very nice and courteous staff, we received a very warm welcome, even though we arrived shortly before closing time, we were treated to top quality. Pizza & salad were great - value for money was great! Happy to come back!

Received the wrong dish, which then arrived without a side dish, which was supposed to come, but was forgotten. Friendly but scheduled service. The food itself wasn't bad, it's just a bit stupid to go home hungry. As compensation we received dessert on the house. Gladly not again.

Food was okay, but the service was clearly overwhelmed. 30 minutes between delivery of the drinks and ordering the food, then it took another hour for the meal. This works much better for almost everyone else.

Very nice and fast service. The food tasted quite good, but unfortunately “that certain something” was missing; The food was very “objective” and not very appealingly prepared. My eyes literally didn't eat. Unfortunately some of the salad wasn't fresh. Ambiance kept relatively simple and rustic. When the weather is warm, it gets very warm and stuffy in the “winter garden” at the back. It's certainly nice to sit on the terrace at the front.

Price/performance top. My veal liver (INCLUDING fried potatoes and side salad! It's very rare these days) was very nicely prepared and really tasty.

Pizzeria Da Giovanni offers solid dishes at reasonable prices. The pasta with salmon was tastefully prepared, although a little more sauce would have rounded off the dish perfectly. The rump steak was okay, but not outstanding. Overall, a satisfactory experience that leaves room for small improvements.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years because the price-performance ratio is right. Although I've had a bit of an eating flop here and there. However, no one is interested in these complaints and no improvements are made. The service has always been a bit marginal since the change from “Da Bruno” (he had to give up the restaurant due to illness). The female service staff are always snippy and cheeky. We always overlooked that. It's just plain Italian, we said to ourselves. On our last visit, the waiter in charge was so rude after a polite query when paying (“there are plenty of other restaurants you can go to”). He is right. Completely unnecessary statement from him. Especially since we are known as “regulars” there. I definitely won't go to this restaurant again.

Beautiful ambience, right on a street full of great flowering trees. The food is always exactly as you would expect, it is brought to the table quickly and tastes great. The service staff are also totally welcoming and accommodating. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is hoping for a welcoming, great atmosphere with good food! Always my pleasure

Extremely delicious pizza. Maybe the best in all of Wiesbaden. Service is basically friendly. But we were there several times and we were never asked whether it was tasty. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is outstanding here.

We knew Bruno from before, so we went back there after a few years! After arriving in Wiesbaden on a Saturday at 2:20 p.m. just before closing time, we arrived and were allowed in, but without our two small dogs, which we had to bring into the car! While one waitress let us in, another complimented us out! The two loudly exchanged words in Italian in front of us and then agreed to serve us, although not in a very friendly manner! Pasta with salmon and fried salmon with orange sauce and rice It took a bit of a long time, even though we were the last ones to order anything! The pasta was neither al dente nor did the sauce and salmon taste good, my orange sauce was a lukewarm, thick, indefinable flour mush! The salmon was fried too long! The salad served with it was served with a run-of-the-mill mayonnaise/yoghurt sauce! In short, fobbed off! We were happy to forgo dessert or espresso!

Das ist unsere Stammpizzeria. Wir gehen regelmäßig zum Essen hin, denn auch die anderen angebotenen Speisen sind gut. Die Tageskarte erweitert die Speisekarte. Die Bedienung ist nett und flott. Es gibt keine langen Wartezeiten aus die bestellten Speisen. Die Pizzeria ist gut besucht, daher sollte man lieber reservieren.

Food was quite good. The waiters seemed rather unfriendly and in a bad mood even though we were very friendly ourselves. You didn't really feel welcome.

Ich bin begeistert, sehr schönes ruhiges Ambiente, super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und das Essen war erstklassig und die Preise sind absolut human und werden der Qualität gerecht, hier war ich zum ersten aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal 😊

Ich bin begeistert. Waren mit einer Gruppe da. ca 20 Leute. Platz für alle! Das Essen kam "RESPEKT" für alle gleichzeitig an. Die Pizza war groß und sehr sehr lecker. Selten so eine gute gegessen. Ich komme gerne wieder! Zu zweit oder Gruppe! TOP

Wir waren mit 13 Leuten zum Mittagessen bei Da Giovanni. Alles top. Sehr freundlicher Service, das Essen kam für Alle zeitgleich und war hervorragend. Es waren alle sehr zufrieden.

Leider ist es so laut wie auf dem Bahnhof, das Essen war auch schon mal besser und die Bedienung ist zwar schnell, aber bringt auch viel ungemütlichkeit rein..

Die Pasta leider ungenießbar. Vongole schmeckt einzig nach Zwiebeln und Salz, Arrabiata nur sauer und mehlig. Pasta nicht al dente. Nach einer Gabel beides zurück geschickt. Service und Küche waren überfordert mit dem Andrang also warteten wir 1 Stunde auf die oben genannten Speisen. Trotzdem 3 Sterne für den Service, da das Personal die Mangelqualität eingestand und wir nicht zahlen mussten.

Die Pizza war mittelmäßig. Der Service war leider sehr schlecht. Schade!

Super leckere Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten, aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr gutes und freundliches Ambiente. Wirklich zu empfehlen. Schade nur, dass es nicht gerade vor unserer Haustür liegt. Wir kommen aus Limburg.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen Samstag Abends dort. Obwohl es sehr voll war, mussten wir nicht lange auf unsere Getränke warten. Auch das Essen ging verhältnismäßig schnell und hat auch gut geschmeckt, nix Aussergewöhnliches, aber gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Beim Service allerdings müsste nachgebessert werden. Wir bekamen anstatt Pizza Schinken/Salami nur Pizza mit Salami, anstatt Radler wurde es ein Pils und wenn man getrennt zahlen möchte muss man dies drinnen an der Kasse erledigen. Wir werden aber trotzdem wieder hin gehen, da man sehr nett sitzt und die Preise auch sehr fair sind. Und Fehler passieren, sollten allerdings nicht zur Gewohnheit werden....

"Ristorante Pizzeria Da Bruno", das war einmal. Über 35 Jahre waren wir hier treue Kunden. Seit das Restaurant vor wenigen Monaten von einer Gaststätten Betriebs GmbH übernommen und in "Da Giovanni" umbenannt wurde, sind die Merkmale Qualität, Service und Freundlichkeit verlorengegangen. Die bestellten Nudeln waren mehr "hart" als "al dente", die Crevetten noch glitschig gräulich, die Zwiebeln noch weiss und die Soße schmeckte eindeutig nach "Tütensosse", also Fazit für das Nudelgericht: nicht zum Servieren geeignet. Das Saltimbocca alla Romana vom Kalb schmeckte extrem fad und wurde mit einer pampigem Soße, die klumpte, serviert. Wir sind so enttäuscht, aber auch hier gilt: Die Qualität einer Gaststätte steht oder - wie hier - fällt mit dem Können des Koch. Die beiden Servicekräfte waren freundlich, jedoch etwas unterkühlt. Ein Lächeln bei der Arbeit stünde den Damen doch so gut. Resümee: wir werden diese Gaststätte nicht mehr empfehlen.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut! Ich kann die Pizzen, Pasta und auf jeden Fall den Oktopus empfehlen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich!

Wirklich gutes Essen und ausnehmen freundliche Bedienung. Ich war sehr zufrieden. In Wiesbaden mit Sicherheit einer der besseren Pizzerien.

Wir wurden zu einer Familienfeier hierhin eingeladen. Und leider wusste das Restaurant auf ganzer Linie zu enttäuschen. Obwohl alles im Vorfeld abgesprochen war, (Gastgeber war sogar persönlich vorab vor Ort) klappte gar nichts. Tische bei Ankunft dreckig trotz Reservierung und pünktlichem Erscheinen. Vorspeisenplatte enttäuschend ( kein Öl ,kein Balsamico. kein Salz, kein Pfeffer). Getränke kamen nicht, und wenn dann teilweise ohne Gläser) Hauptgänge enttäuschend, nicht angerichtet, eher draufgeworfen. Digestif und Kaffee nur an einem der Tische abgefragt. Absolut unzureichender und unfreundlicher Service ! Nie wieder !

Die Pizzeria DA Giovanni befindet sich im Nordwesten von Wiesbaden, in Nähe der Albrecht-Dürer-Anlagen. Die Räumlichkeiten mit Innen- und Außenbereich sind modern gestaltet, alles macht einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte ist die in einer Pizzeria übliche, die Gerichte sind reichlich und qualitativ gut. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Aus unserer Sicht eine schöne und empfehlenswerte Lokation.

Italienisches Restaurant ok für eine Pizza und offenen Wein. Alles andere sehr enttäuschend. Die Karte hat zwar Fleisch- und Fischgerichte, aber die Küche hat es nicht 'drauf! Service ist auch oft überfordert. Also, bleibt bei einer Pizza, im Sommer auf der Terrasse kann man es gut aushalten!
