First of all: the pizza was really good! There is a large selection, as well as many creative creations and vegetarian selections as an alternative to the “standard” pizzas. The service on the phone was super friendly, but unfortunately we all didn't find the on-site staff to be very welcoming. We would come back because of the delicious pizza.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because the service was so unfriendly that I left straight away! I took a seat at a table outside; almost all of the tables were free and not marked as "reserved". It was lunchtime and the pizzeria was still open for about an hour. When the waitress came I was asked if I had made a reservation. As already mentioned, it was almost empty inside and outside! I was told to please sit at the table next to two other guests in a not exactly friendly tone. It's a shame, there was probably little thought of service in the service. I then left the pizzeria. Reply to the local operator's comment: Apparently you misunderstood my review. I didn't leave the restaurant abruptly after your employee asked if I had made a reservation. Only when she wanted to seat us shoulder to shoulder with two other guests and didn't respond in any way to my suggestion that I didn't want to sit directly with other guests did I leave. I also can't imagine that all the tables were still occupied an hour before closing time for lunch, because after I had a delicious meal at another restaurant, I drove past there again and almost all the tables were still unoccupied. The service staff should probably be trained to treat paying guests respectfully.

Just been there (8/31/24/12:20 p.m.). Almost all of the tables outside were free and without a “Reserved” sign. The waiter immediately explained to us that the table was reserved and that we could sit directly at the table where the only guests outside were sitting. The Pizzeria Capri in Ingelheim is a place with potential that is unfortunately not fully utilized. Let's start with the positive: The pizza is really great. The dough is fluffy, the ingredients are fresh and rich, and the taste leaves nothing to be desired. If you are looking for an excellent pizza, you will definitely find it here. Unfortunately, the praise ends there. The ambience and service are in stark contrast to the quality of the food. The service seemed stressed and unfortunately unfriendly during our visit. You won't find a smile or a kind word here. The waiting time was particularly annoying: after 25 minutes we finally got our drinks, but an incredible 1 hour and 20 minutes passed before the pizza was on the table. That's definitely too long for a pizzeria. Another drawback: paying at the table is not possible. You have to go to the checkout, which makes the visit a bit uncomfortable. Overall, an ambivalent impression remains: While the pizza is excellent, the surroundings unfortunately leave a lot to be desired. With better service and a friendlier atmosphere, Pizzeria Capri could be a real highlight in Ingelheim. So for now it remains a “good meal in bad surroundings”.

Since we weren't allowed to move to the shade because the table was assigned, we were able to wait an hour for our food. The “Chef Salad” salad had collapsed and had been sitting around for a while. In addition, there was hardly any ham, cheese or anything else in it, as is usual with an Italian salad. The Frutti di Mare pizza was watery, probably from the thawed fish. In addition, the fish, especially the shrimp, was raw. When we complained they only wanted to exchange the fish. There was no apology or other accommodation. The person in charge responded with an arrogant and unreasonable manner. In summary, this has nothing to do with a good Italian.

You're sitting on a main street, the pizza wasn't my thing at all, some of my dough was almost raw and tasted like unfinished bread. That doesn't have much to do with being a world champion.

We reserved a table for Friday evening a week in advance. Very good pizza and reasonably priced. We had Pizza Weltmeister, Bacione and Contadina. The pizza came quickly and fully met my expectations. Gladly again.

But then🙈🙈🙈🙈 All of the waitresses (except the young man who continued to serve us after ordering our drinks) were completely overwhelmed by the situation and were amateurish. In an average restaurant, they were not able to manage the situation in a controlled manner. The young lady with the dark tied hair took our drink order. The expression on his face was so frightening that we felt unwelcome. My wife and I wondered if we should actually stay. Despite the very good pizza, we will definitely not eat there again and will also encourage all friends, acquaintances and relatives to consider being served there. (assuming the young man is there)

We ordered guazetto & carpaccio as a starter and a pizza.. unfortunately there were no molluscs in a lot of the mussel shells. Every time I wanted to get one I only had the shell of the mussel. After a lot of mussels we called the waitress over to us Bored, she came up to us and said, “That’s without mussel meat.” When I asked her why it was on the menu, she unfortunately didn’t give me an answer, turned around and left. I personally find it very disrespectful to react like that. I mean, when I come in somewhere I want to be treated well and such behavior was a mystery to me. Our starters were only cleared away when we asked her about it when she brought us the main course. The pizza carpaccio simply had nothing to do with a pizza, more bread as a topping without tomato sauce and cheese! There was cream cheese on it, I had the feeling we were eating bread with cream cheese... that's never happened to me, never again, thank you!

We used to like going here, even if the pizzeria is more expensive. Allersings: The quality is no longer up to par and people are being ripped off. People only half listen on the phone and yet the production is wrong. I have a cow's milk intolerance and ordered buffalo mozzarella for myself and my daughter instead of regular cheese. We received 3x buffalo mozzarella and normal cow's milk cheese (my husband didn't want any) and paid an extra charge of 4.50 euros for each pizza. 3 pizzas each 26 cm in diameter, including a Margherita, were over 40 euros😳 And it didn't taste like it used to. Not being able to order a family pizza with a larger group is stupid. Jumbo is too small in this regard. Some then had to starve. My companion and I actually wanted to have a nice evening after hearing and reading a lot of good things about the house's pizzas. The evening became a traumatic experience. The food was very good, without question, but you can't and shouldn't treat new customers as if you've known each other forever. Multiple visits to our table (it was undoubtedly clear that my companion was the reason for the intrusive actions) with hearts and too many compliments, multiple physical contacts with kisses on the cheek and asking for my companion's cell phone number, I think , are unlikely to be good for business. We were there for the first time, were shocked and decided not to have dessert. The evening was a trauma for us. In addition, the walls and the pictures on the walls were full of dead flies and some corners even had spider webs on them, it just didn't look clean. I don't think we'll be back in this location again any time soon.

Then unfortunately comes the disastrous rest. Unfortunately, service is not a term here, you've probably never heard of it there before. Waited forever for the card at the dirty table where we were seated (with a reservation). Taking the order took forever. Although not very busy, we waited over an hour for our pizza. Drinks were ordered several times from different waiters, but no one brought anything to drink. After the pizza we saved ourselves from asking again about the drink that had still not been brought, as well as dessert and coffee... sad how such great food and service can be ruined so badly. Definitely has more potential!

You can't make a Margherita, the world champion pizza, any better. The service was ok. I found two points negative: water (San Pellegrino = Nestlé Plörre) is only available in bottles because otherwise there would be too little carbon dioxide in the water...yeah sure...and the box for the leftover pizza costs 1 euro extra. With the pizza prices and the number of guests, you certainly don't need either. Therefore no 5 stars. Compared to the Neapolitan pizza from Da Michele in Hamburg, the Margherita here was better, but in Hamburg they have tuna pizza and the tuna is fresh.

This place, in my humble opinion, is not as good as they say. As someone who loves Neapolitan pizza very much, I've been here twice. Unfortunately, the pizza does not make it to my top 10 favorites. The not-so-good parts: The dough :( It lacks taste and salt. The second time, the pizza wasn't cooked enough. A little more time in the oven, maybe 20 or 30 seconds, would have been better. The edges of the pizza look fancy, but they're not light and fluffy. They're quite heavy, so much so that even though I can usually eat a lot, I was only able to eat three-quarters of the pizza. The place, it's not very humble. And their local wine selection, it's not very wide. Good things: The mix of flours they use is good. But they need to work on how they use it (see above).

Die Kellner waren nett und im Service sehr gut. Nichtsdestotrotz war die Erfahrung hier leider weniger „weltmeisterlich“. Den Tisch hatten wir für eine Zeit von 1,5 Std. reserviert und dementsprechend gehetzt wurden wir von dem Kellner, der die Bestellung aufnahm. Alle 5 Minuten kam er an den Tisch und fragte nach. Nach dem dritten Mal war ich aufgrunddessen - und wegen der Lautstärke in diesem Restaurant - so gestresst, dass ich einfach irgendwas bestellt habe. Bis das Essen kam, dauerte es auch nochmal 45 Minuten; am Ende hatten wir (Gruppe von 9 Pers.) nur noch eine gute halbe Stunde zum essen. Meine Tagliatelle haben vor allem nach Pilzen geschmeckt, einige von denen waren etwas zu matschig. Am Schluss waren wir uns alle einig, dass die Pizza mittelmäßig gut war, nichts besonderes, und vor allem keine Weltmeisterpizza war.
