Very tasty beer. I always enjoy coming here.

Yes, I'll be back for a meal and a good drink! It has the ambiance of a good company restaurant. Everyone in our family praised the food and drinks. What surprised me was that, even though we had booked in advance, we were immediately told that we had to vacate our seats after two hours at the latest.

The Braumaseiter schnitzel tasted like a convenience store item. The fries were drowned in the schnitzel's sauce. The service was very good and the location is great.

We were there in the afternoon – it wasn't particularly busy. Still, it was a struggle to get the waiter's attention. The food wasn't great. While we weren't seated, a "reserved" sign was slammed down on the table. But we were told not to let it bother us. Paying wasn't easy either. We waited a long time again. And finally, the tip wasn't enough. This was made very clear.

Anyone who can't make a reservation made three days in advance via the website and then is incredibly unfriendly on the phone doesn't deserve more than one star. Actually, zero stars would be a fair rating. Apparently, they don't need it. It's a shame.

Something special and above all child-friendly

I've been there several times and actually almost always satisfied, today I ordered the same salad as 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately today it was only a little more than half as much as it was weeks ago, the Riesling spritzer that I ordered was with a completely different Riesling than 3 weeks ago, which was really tasty, this Riesling spritzer was just sour and inedible for my taste. Was very disappointing.

First the positive: I like rustic breweries, this one is very new, but tastefully furnished, cozy, the open copper kettles and storage tanks fit in perfectly. The beer was surprisingly tasty, especially all the standard varieties and the seasonal Altbier. The food was solid, but nothing special. The outdoor area and play areas for children are also great. I found the starter negative; we had a seasonal, light asparagus soup, which was okay in terms of taste, but much too thickened; the addition of green asparagus and spring onions seemed inappropriate. Unfortunately, the service was the worst, although nice but too inattentive, the request for payment was only fulfilled with a delay, even though the waiter in charge came by the table several times. Will come back for a second chance ;)

Every time we are here it is great and the Golden Angel hand cheese is the best I have ever had, I wish I had the recipe. So creamy and mild

Since the brewery is open until midnight, we - and also guests who came later - thought that it wouldn't be a problem to get something to eat at 8 p.m. Wrong thought! We had 5 minutes to decide. Of course there was no more knuckle. So we decided on a schnitzel with mushroom sauce. It was OK but not a highlight either. The waiters often looked for the guests who had ordered. So not entirely professional. All in all okay, but not a must.

Even though it was very full, we got a table after a short wait. The beer and the food were excellent. The service is exemplary.

We're not coming anymore. Already at a wedding reception of friends in the golden angel, the arrogant and unfriendly nature of the service was noticeable. Today we were there again privately. The giant table next to us was first asked for drinks and served. When it was our turn to order a soda for our child, they said: more information. He couldn't do anything with "soda". We didn't have a card on the table, I said that and then they said we were sitting in the wrong place. How are we supposed to know that? Can you communicate with us? The food was ok and arrived quickly but it was brought with an unfriendly face, the child was ignored when he asked for something and when we didn't give a tip at the end he got really rude and asked what was wrong and slammed the receipt on the table. It was the service itself that wasn't right. It's something special for us to go out to eat and then be treated like that by someone who obviously doesn't want his job. Simply annoying. If you're so dependent on tips, get a better-paying job or behave in a way that makes people happy to give them. We do not recommend Golden Angel

Wir waren eigentlich immer gerne im Goldenen Engel, doch unser letzter Besuch war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Der Service war extrem unfreundlich – die Kellnerin im Dirndl kam an den Tisch, nachdem wir höflich gebeten hatten, einen Burger zurückgehen zu lassen, weil das Fleisch ungenießbar war…wir sind wirklich nicht pingelig aber es war voller Knorpel, durchwachsen und einfach nicht essbar. Statt Verständnis gab es nur eine patzige Reaktion: Mit einem genervten „Was ist?“ wurde uns direkt signalisiert, dass Reklamationen auf gar keinen Fall möglich sind. Die Kellnerin weigerte sich lautstark, das Essen zurückzunehmen, machte uns Vorwürfe und behauptete, wir würden „Pressfleisch erwarten“, das sie nicht verkaufen würden – ein völliger Unsinn. Wir legen selbst großen Wert auf gutes, hochwertiges Fleisch und wissen, wie zart es sein kann – dieses hier war alles andere als das. Am Ende haben wir gesagt, dass wir nur die Pommes essen würden – dennoch mussten wir den vollen Preis zahlen, keine Entschuldigung, keine Einsicht, stattdessen eine Szene, bei der sich sogar andere Gäste umdrehten, weil die Kellnerin so laut wurde. Sehr schade, denn wir sind in der Vergangenheit eigentlich gerne gekommen. Aber nach dieser Erfahrung überlegen wir es uns in Zukunft zweimal. So sollte mit zahlenden Gästen nicht umgegangen werden.

We ate there for the first time today. The many parking spaces available are positive. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not family friendly when it comes to bringing strollers - we weren't allowed to bring ours in. That was a big negative point for us. The Brauhausschnitzel was highly recommended in terms of taste. The cheeseburger, on the other hand, couldn't convince us - it was cold and lacked that certain something in terms of taste. Due to the lack of stroller friendliness, we wouldn't go there again.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and have been very satisfied each time - especially with the consistently high quality of the food. On our second visit we ordered similar dishes to the first time and were impressed again - they really value consistent, excellent quality. A special highlight is the home-brewed beer, which is served fresh from the barrel. The Altbier in particular seems to be a house specialty – full-bodied, well-balanced and really tasty. A small downer: Unfortunately, the 5 liter kegs were already sold out on Saturday evening - apparently a sign of how popular the beer is. The service was also friendly, attentive and accommodating on both visits - you feel like you're in good hands here as a guest. Overall, an all-round successful visit - if you appreciate good food, home-brewed beer and friendly service, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

Essen war ok , die Burger sind etwas klein , da sollte man eher zum Schnitzel greifen wenn man Hunger hat . Ansonsten war der Kellner direkt beleidigt und unfreundlich wenn man kein Trinkgeld Geld gibt

Large beer garden. Playground for children. The ideal resting place on a bike tour. Delicious, fresh home-brewed beer and small dishes. We have enjoyed coming here in the summer for many years. This text is already a few years old. The pictures are current from March 2025.

Prices are sometimes too high for what is on offer

Top service!!! Despite a spontaneous request and a full house, a table for 8 people could be organized (without any problems). The prices are reasonable and the food tastes very good. We didn't have to wait, everything came immediately and the service was absolutely friendly and confident 👍

We've been here a few times, the food is good, but the cheese spaetzle could be a little more steamy, some dishes lack a certain something but absolutely okay. Easily accessible by car and there are enough parking spaces available. In summer there is a large terrace and beer garden including a small playground.

The service is really great. This hardly exists in restaurants anymore. Very friendly and approachable as well as flexible. Almost everyone's food was very, very tasty. Unfortunately, the Pfännchenspätzle tasted and smelled a lot like pan iron. Unfortunately, this aftertaste wasn't that tasty. Rethink iron pan cleaning? Maybe they need different treatment. A brewery restaurant, easily accessible via the motorway, with plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the building. The interior with the visible brewing kettles is very modern and tastefully designed. There are many tables spread over two floors. The existing beer garden was not in use at this time of year. A reservation is probably always a good idea as it can get busy. The service was friendly and almost too fast (which I think became evident later in the food.) In general, dishes are a matter of taste and I therefore rarely comment on this, but in our case the schnitzels, which were delivered extremely quickly, were probably not fresh from the pan and, given the price, the quality was not OK. I would like to come back for the good beer, but not for the schnitzels. A friendly employee spontaneously explained the brewing system to us as we left the restaurant. A nice move, I think!

We often go to the Goldener Engel because of the really good beer. When it comes to the taste and drinkability of the light beer, you won't find a better brewery beer in our region. The service is very friendly, helpful and quick. Now to the often negative point: the food! Burger is soggy and tastes pretty bland. The other dishes vary from edible to rather poor. Only the knuckle (Rheinhessian cover) and the fries were always of consistently good quality.

Great choice. Super beers. I can highly recommend the "Dunkles", my favourite. Good service and nice atmosphere. I would recommend making a reservation. Very popular.

Huge restaurant, good service, very good food and drinks in the medium price segment. Special feature: home-brewed beer. Nice “stylish” furnishings, but very loud, soundproofing measures are urgently needed. It is not possible to have a conversation at normal volume with the other person.

The food tasted very good. There is nothing wrong here. The service staff were a bit disoriented and confused, but we still got everything served correctly. The ambience is also very nice. There is a television hanging from the ceiling showing a campfire. I'm a big fan of little things like this.

Kamen erst um 14.00 Uhr bei nur 4 Gästen im ansonsten leeren Lokal an. Nach Einnahme der Plätze belehrte uns der Kellner (mit Bart) mehr als unfreundlich und ausufernd, dass nur er als Gastgeber die Plätze vergibt und nicht die Gäste selber. Wir verliesen daraufhin das fast leere Lokal und gaben dem Gastgeber Gelegenheit den Tisch weiter zu bewachen.

Wir waren im Winter dort, also drinnen, nicht im Biergarten. Schöne Räumlichkeiten Deftiges Brauhaus-Essen, für Vegetarier nur bedingt geeignet: - Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Pommes 15.90 € (große Portion!) - Käsespätzle 15.90 € - Brauhaus-Burger 19.90 € - Kinder-Schnitzel 7.90 € - Kinder-Chicken-Nuggets 7.90 € Ich hatte ein sehr feines Hirschsteak von der Tageskarte, top-medium gebraten, mit deftiger Beilage (Kraut und Knödel).

We were there in winter, so inside, not in the beer garden. Nice premises Hearty brewery food, only partially suitable for vegetarians: - Schnitzel Viennese style with fries €15.90 (large portion!) - Cheese spaetzle €15.90 - Brauhaus burger €19.90 - Children's schnitzel €7.90 - Children's chicken nuggets €7.90 I had a very fine venison steak from the daily menu, fried to medium rare, with a hearty side dish (cabbage and dumplings).

Tolles Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen sowie Heringe probiert. Service schnell, freundlich und trotz abendlichem starkem Andrang immernoch mit nem Lächen und einem freundlichem Ton beim Gast.Es gibt im Gastronomiebereich doch wohl noch Betriebe wo ein Gast nicht nur Nr ist und abgefertigt wird. Klare,eindeutige Weiterempfehlung. Ggf vorher Reservieren Karte wurde geändert! Heute gab es ein geniales Hirschsteak mit Serviettenknödel. Fleisch war auf den Punkt getroffen! Service schnell,höflich und Kundenorientiert.

Spent on the Rhine over Christmas. My girlfriend knew the place. It's very nice, friendly staff and very tasty food.

Completely fine for the price range. Classic dishes for a brewery, from sausage salad to schnitzel and cheese spaetzle to ice cream with raspberries. Lots of children's meals. Well attended. Reservation on weekends makes sense. Not too loud despite the full house.

Everything was at a high level.

We made a relatively spontaneous reservation for 18 people on Christmas Day at the Goldener Engel brewery – absolute prime time! It was particularly important to us that the location was barrier-free because our grandmother is in a wheelchair. The team was incredibly accommodating, even called us and did everything possible to make it work. Of course we had a time slot, which is completely understandable given the late reservation. The food was simply top – 100%! The service was also excellent, there was really nothing to complain about. We would like to thank you very much for the great hospitality and will definitely come back next year. Next time we know: make a reservation earlier so we can enjoy even more time. Absolutely recommended!

Solid brewery cuisine, not exactly cheap. The beer tastes really good and the place has flair. It's pretty loud because it's acoustically difficult. Service and waiting times are so-so.

The schnitzel and cordon bleu with fries was close to fast food level. The food comes to the table within 5 minutes, which does not indicate fresh preparation. The Cordon Bleu is far too small a portion for the price. The portion of the schnitzel was more than sufficient. No matter when, the brewery is always busy, a reservation is definitely necessary! This fact quickly creates a hectic and loud hustle and bustle for the guest. Despite everything, the service is always very friendly and professional.

I've been coming to Ingelheim once a year for about 10 years and meeting up with my colleague at your place. Food and service were always top. In my opinion, the only drawback with you is the men's toilet, which is unfortunately of "district league standard" (smell, hand hygiene (air dryer))

We had a birthday party here with 41 people. Everything was great!!! The food tasted great and was prepared quickly. The service was always very friendly. Our grandchildren felt comfortable on the playground. We'd love to come back!!!

Food was good. Side salad is a hit and also good for two to share. The rest of the food was good but the price was quite high. Service is super friendly and knows a lot about food and drinks. Overall, the guest room could do with a makeover, it seems a bit worn out. It's not bad, but it doesn't fit the message it's trying to convey overall. Various lamps in the ceiling are also broken. That doesn't make a great impression either. The men's room was a disaster, I have to admit. It smelled terrible, so bad it made me gag. A urinal broken, a sink broken, and somehow dingy. Unfortunately there were no windows, which probably contributed to the smell. I was here early in the afternoon when there wasn't much going on. Everything had been cleaned, the floor was still damp, so I'm guessing there was a technical problem. But it really wasn't nice. Years ago I took a beer brewing course, which I can only recommend. He was great.

Enjoy your meal. Comes quickly too. Very friendly. The building is a functional building. Apparently kid friendly. Accessible to disabled people. Ample parking spaces. There are not enough parking spaces for bicycles and unfortunately not good enough to securely lock up an e-bike. There was a lot of ice in my lemonade. Also quite expensive.

We had dinner there with a larger group. We were taken to a side room opposite the kitchen. Unfortunately it was very loud and hectic overall. The waiter tried hard but was totally overwhelmed. Unfortunately I had another unpleasant experience with my drink, I had a homemade lemonade with pomegranate. Unfortunately I had a slug!!! in the lemonade. We complained about this and were given a replacement drink, which didn't correspond to the one we complained about (ice tea without anything). Overall, my cheese spaetzle was very bland and the cheese absorbed water. All in all, a sobering visit for me.

The food would have been really very good, unfortunately it was only lukewarm and we had the pan-fried dishes, which must have sizzled normally. The service was very attentive and friendly, took the drinks but never brought them. Too bad. The brewery is really a really nice location.

A very nice location, nice employees, especially very patient with difficult customers and no matter how the customers get, the employees remain very friendly and continue to try to help. Best quality food. Everything tastes good and is also beautifully prepared. Beers also taste very good and the house lemonades are also recommended. Always worth a visit!!!

My steak was amazing! Well seasoned beef steak with fine herb butter. Just like you want a good steak. The service staff is friendly. We would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

Passed it on the way back home and was advertised as a great location. Not too much was promised. Loving and stylish atmosphere with a feel-good factor between the living room and the brewery. Friendly and attentive service, good food. Mega dessert from the season ticket. One can only hope that it finds its way onto the main map. Definitely a reason to stop again the next time you're in the area... No, there are enough reasons to drive an extra hour there.

Es gibt noch Luft nach oben. Die Speisekarte enthält nur Angaben zu den Zusatzsstoffen, nicht zu den Allergenen (Stand: 15.12.2023). Insgesamt sollten die Makros auch mehr Berücksichtigung finden, 20 g sollten es dann schon sein (0,8 x75 /3). Beim TIROLER PFANNEN-GRÖSTL bitte etwas drunterlegen damit das Fett ablaufen kann.

Last year we booked the Christmas party at Goldenen-Engel. Unfortunately the food wasn't what I had hoped for, and I also expected more of the service... But overall I found it satisfactory...

My wife's steak was outstanding and my salad with strips of beef was MEGA. Compliments to the kitchen. The service is also top, five stars.
