Pizzeria Amico in Bremen

The food was delicious and the atmosphere pleasant. We were able to get a table for two in the evening without a reservation. There is paid parking available on a side street between 8 am and 6 pm. I'd gladly come again.

There were four of us at lunchtime, and we felt very comfortable. The food was delicious, relatively inexpensive, and the service was very friendly.

My visit to the Amico Restaurant in Vegesack's pedestrian zone was overall disappointing. While there were some positive aspects, the shortcomings unfortunately outweighed the negatives, especially regarding the food. The restaurant itself feels a bit dated. The decor is definitely past its best and could use a refresh to create a more modern and inviting atmosphere. The food was the biggest complaint. My expectations of an Italian restaurant were not met. The tortellini didn't taste homemade, which is especially unfortunate for a restaurant of this type. Even more disappointing was the sauce, which obviously came from a pre-made bag. It had an unpleasant aftertaste that made the dish almost inedible. While my companion's pizza looked fine, the quality of the pasta wasn't impressive. The staff, however, deserves special mention. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit a bit more bearable. The restrooms were also clean and tidy, which is always a good sign of the restaurant's hygiene. ​In summary, while the Amico Restaurant in Vegesack scores highly with its friendly staff and clean restrooms, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. For anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine, this restaurant is unfortunately not recommended.

BEWARE, ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF: I ordered two small seafood pizzas for €5.60 each. Since we wanted to eat in the restaurant, we were told it would cost more but not how much. In any case, I paid €21.00 for two small, inferior pizzas, smothered in Tabasco, and you had to hunt for the seafood. They had the absolute nerve to then look at me with an idiotic grin when I thought the price was a joke.

A ritual to go there for 45 years

We stopped by spontaneously, and both pizzas were delicious. Both had plenty of toppings and seasoning. The two servers were very friendly. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the atmosphere is pleasant. The restaurant also offers takeout service, and packing up leftovers was no problem.

We ordered two pizzas to go. When we opened both boxes, one pizza was a regular slice and the other was cut into many small rectangles. Did we ask for that? No. How are you supposed to eat that with your hands? We didn't bring forks because every normal person eats pizza with their hands. Sorry, but that was really unpleasant.

The pizza was delicious and the service was good too! With three drinks, I still spent under €30, including tip.

Second time here and once again amazed. The pizzas are Italian style, with a soft but not chewy dough that is perfectly topped. On the photo are large pizzas, one spicy, one with parma and rucola and one with mozzarella and basil (forgot the names). The staf is very very kind and the lady serving us was very elegant.

We go to Amico regularly and love the family atmosphere. The service is friendly and customer-oriented. The food is prepared with lots of fresh products. Wir sind enttäuscht. Nur ein paar Hähnchen "Fitzel" auf der Pizza "Hähnchen Curry". Stücke von Dosen Pfirsich. Teig ungleichmäßig ausgerollt, dadurch stellenweise nicht durchgebacken. Mit der Currypaste und viel geschmacklosem Reibekäse ein durch geweichter Teig. Nur der Rand trocken und kross. "Pizza mit Parmaschinken". Etwas Parmaschinken, viel Rukula, Stücke von Dosen Pilzen. Der Teig war ebenso. Gut, wer es so mag, dafür gerne sein Geld ausgibt. - Wir nie wieder-. Die Cola war abgestanden.Das Becks vorgezapft- lauwarm , wenig Schaum . Wir bekamen nichts ersetzt. Es wurde nur gemeint, das es dem Koch gesagt wird. Den Service hielten wir für inkompetent. Gab es hier einen Pächter Wechsel ???

I was there for the first time on Thursday evening with a friend and I have to say it will be the last time... It was only our second choice that evening anyway, unfortunately everything was second choice - the food, the service , the friendliness... Very disappointing. Pizza was absolutely over-seasoned and I didn't feel well afterwards. Unfortunately, they didn't ask if we wanted something more to drink... When we wanted to pay, they were visibly annoyed (at us?!) and actually just wanted to get rid of us quickly, shortly before closing time at 9:30 p.m.... Up After our farewell, all that was left was "Yes, yes, bye, bye" Yes, goodbye and goodbye, that's what I say! I'd be happy to leave my money somewhere else!

I often sat here over 40 years ago. I was visiting Bremen-Nord again and still think the pizzeria is cute. The food came quickly and I thought it was delicious.

Das Essen hat 7 Sterne verdient, leider habe ich diesmal keine Fotos gemacht, kommt dann nächste Woche. Es gab Bruschetta vorweg, die leckerste in Bremen. Als Hauptgericht die Tageskarte, Schweinefilet, Pilze in Sahnsauce mit Pommes und ein Mexikanischer Auflauf vegetarisch. Sehr lecker. Ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Wir haben wieder reserviert. Das Ambiente ist alt, gehört aber irgendwie dazu.

Katastrophe! Hatte Spaghetti mit Meereesfrüchten. Die waren aber nicht zu erkennen. Waren wohl in einen Häcksler gefallen. Also Abfall.

Toller Empfang und sehr nette Bedienung. Hat mir gut gefallen. Toiletten sind sehr klein und könnte könnte eine Sanierung gebrauchen. Trotzdem komme ich gerne wieder

Klein und fein sehr gemütlich. Essen ist super lecker und schnell zubereitet. Auf der Karte stehen viele Sachen vom Salat Pizza Rollos und noch mehr. Service ist schnell und einfach freundlich. Heute das erste Mal da gewesen aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal.

Leckere Tagesgerichte. Liebevoll zubereitet, wie z. B. Thunfisch Spaghetti in Tomatensosse, garniert mit Rucola und Käse oder Geschnetzeltes mit Gemüse, Reis und Salat, Jede Menge andere Fleischgerichte, aber auch Gratins. Sehr schmackhaft, gemütlich, günstig. Aufmerksame Bedienungen. Ruhig und zentral gelegen.

Man kann schön gemütlich draußen sitzen in der Fußgängerzone. Die Portionen sind den Preisen angemessen. Bedienung war nett, essen gut, wenig Wartezeit.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker! Der Teig war perfekt. Aber es gefiel mir nicht, dass die Tische schmutzig waren und meinem Freund die falsche Pizza gebracht wurde, die er ausgewählt hatte.

Einfach unglaublich. Immer wieder ein Genuss, diese Pizza. Der Teig, frisch vor deinen Augen ausgerollt und liebevoll belegt, so das dir der Zahn tropft. Und das, bevor die Pizza überhaupt in den befeuerten Steinofen kommt. Ein umwerfendes Geschmackserlebnis, welches sogar eine Reise aus Hamburg wert ist.

Sehr lecker aber der Preis wurde erhöht

Wir waren auf einer 3-Tägigen-Geschäftsreise und wollten eigentlich ein bestimmtes Lokal in Bremen besuchen. Am ersten Abend sind wir auf das Amico gestossen und haben dann unseren Plan, das ursprünglich avisierte Lokal anzusteuern, aufgegeben. Im Amico haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, das Essen und die Getränke waren einwandfrei bzw. richtig lecker. Was soll ich sagen? -wir waren dann jeden Tag im Amico.

Es ist eine kleine, aber feine Pizzeria. Die Steinofenpizza ist sehr lecker, preislich ok und die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Räumlichkeiten sind klein und gemütlich und die Tische sehr schön gedeckt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich!

Ich könnte viel schreiben über dieses nette kleine Restaurant im Herzen von Vegesack, aber überzeugt euch einfach selbst davon. Ganz egal ob Pizza, Pasta, Rollo oder Salate alles lecker und frisch.

Nett und gemütlich ist es hier wie eh und je. Der Gruß aus der Küche war fabelhaft. Zudem hatte ich heute die beste Calzone, die ich seit langem gegessen habe. Auch die Pasta meiner Frau war ausgezeichnet und sehr reichlich. Vielen Dank für das gute Essen und den netten Service.

Nicht eine Sauce selbstgemacht, kein echter Koch in der Küche. Es ist nicht schwer Saucen selbst zu machen.

Mittagstisch um Amico ist gut. Es gab ein Nudelgericht. Es war lecker, schnell da und der Service war gut. Rustikales Ambiente im positiven Sinne. Gern wieder.

Eigentlich erwartet man in einem italienischen Restaurant Gerichte mit italienischer Geschmacksnote. Die 2 Gerichte die wir ausprobiert haben (Hähnchenbrustfilet mit Spinatsahne-Sauce und Auberginen mit Nudeln überbacken, mit Sahnesauce) haben zwar gut geschmeckt aber es fehlte uns in beiden Gerichten genau solche Note (mehr Gewürze und Tomaten aber weniger Sahne hätten die Lösung sein können). Das ist natürlich Geschmackssache. Auf jeden Fall hat uns hier generell gefallen. Nettes Personal, angenehmes Ambiente, gutes Essen. Einkehr hier lohnt sich bestimmt.

Ich gebe einfach 5 Sterne für alles, da es mir dort gefällt. Natürlich ist es kein Gourmet Restaurant für höchste Ansprüche.

Leckeres Essen, super Service. Wenn wir mit dem Boot im Hafen Vegesack liegen, ist das zu unserer Lieblingspizzeria geworden. Freuen uns schon auf die nächste Bootssaison um dort wieder Essen zu gehen.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber; wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen ist super. Da wir zu Mittag dort gegessen haben, wurden wir auch schnell bedient – wie es abends in Stoßzeiten ist, können wir nicht beurteilen. WC-Anlagen klein und renovierungsbedürftig, aber sauber. Für unseren Freund, der auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen, aber mit Unterstützung ein paar Schritte gehen kann, war das schon sehr schwierig. Beengt ist auch das Platzangebot im Lokal, aber das macht hier den Charme eindeutig auch mit aus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Salat excellent, spaghetti with shrimps and pesto, taste excellent, but far too much sauce. Pasta was al-dente at start but it kept cooking in the plate with too much sauce.

Sehr unfreundliches Personal. Verweigerte mir die Benutzung der Toilette. Trotz freundlicher Anfrage und Bezahlung wurde es mir verweigert!!

Die Pizza war sehr gut und frisch vor den Augen zubereitet. Nicht so ein Papperohling mit ein wenig Zutaten und Käse wie im Montanaro eine Ecke weiter. Der Auflauf der Begleitung war auch sehr gut. Kann man gerne und gut hingehen.

Leider sehr schlechte Pizza, zumal sie auch falsch ankam. Leider auch die schlechteste Pizza die ich jemals gegessen haben, total versalzen, trocken und schlechter als bei einem Dönerladen. Leider versteht die Kellnerin die Bestellwünsche nicht, daher kam es bei uns, als auch beim Sitznachbarn falsch an. Trotzdem ist die Kellnerin sehr höflich und nett.

Für mich persönlich gibt es keine bessere Pizza als die von dort

Bedienung sehr auf Zack, Essen kam flott, an Qualität nix zu meckern, etwas unruhig eben - aber war auch volles Haus...... Ist ja auch eine Fußgänger- Durchgangs Straße !

Waren enttäuscht. Beide Gerichte ( Tortellini mit Pilzen und Spaghetti Pollo) waren sehr salzig und es war sehr viel Maggi dran (ich habe wirklich noch auf die Krümel gebissen). Schade,vielleicht wäre Pizza die bessere Entscheidung gewesen.
