Pizzeria Americana in Nürnberg

Seit ein paar Wochen wirklich stark nachgelassen! Erst im September eine Pizza mit hähnchen bestellt, das hat geschmeckt, wie die fertigen gewürzten hähnchenstreifen von kaufland. Letzte Woche eine Pizza online bestellt und abgeholt, dann eine komplett andere Pizza bekommen(mit Kapern und Oliven) welche es nichtmal auf der Karte gibt, als wäre es resteverwertung gewesen. Diese war echt scheußlich. Echt enttäuschend, das war das letzte mal. War jahrelang meine Lieblingspizzaria, aber nun ist vorbei. Niemanden mehr zu empfehlen.

It's really slowed down a lot in the last few weeks! Just ordered a pizza with chicken in September, it tasted like the ready-made seasoned chicken strips from Kaufland. Ordered a pizza online last week and picked it up, then received a completely different pizza (with capers and olives) which wasn't even on the menu, as if it had been used up leftovers. This one was really horrible. Really disappointing, that was the last time.

The pizzas are A1 and that's actually the most important thing here. Prices reasonable. One point deducted because sales employees sometimes seem stressed and annoyed. It's difficult to judge the ambience at a pick-up station/stand-up snack bar - that's right - they say here.

I have loved going to Pizza Americana for over 30 years! But that ends today! I ordered three pizzas for our children, my wife and I at 5:55 p.m. and generously selected the pick-up time online at 6:20 p.m. It was supposed to be a meat pizza with extra ingredients, a Quattro Formaggi pizza and a small salami pizza. I got there at 6:20 p.m. and saw that there was a lot going on. The digital display with the pickup numbers was broken. There was a crowd of people standing in front of the pizzeria, people who had ordered online or there were being served in a wild mix, it didn't matter. Unfortunately I had already paid, so I thought I would just wait a few minutes. The few minutes turned into 45 minutes, people who ordered their pizzas on site well after me, or who had a higher number than me online, all had their pizza before me. When I asked, the colleague at the counter became rude, but after several times he took pity on me and asked me for my number. Two pizzas from my order had apparently been sitting around for 20 minutes, the third was forgotten, so I had to wait another 10 minutes for the third to go in the oven. At 7:05 p.m. my pizza finally came out of the oven. In the meantime I said I wanted my money back and didn't want to wait any longer - nothing. The children were waiting at home, I was cold, I just wanted to go home, so I took the pizzas and also the free tiramisu that I didn't feel like eating anyway. When I get home I open the pizza box and instead of my meat pizza I only have salami and ham as toppings!!! I can be kidding myself! THANKS FOR NOTHING, PIZZA AMERICANA! NEVER AGAIN! PLEASE PLACE YOUR ONLINE ORDER NEXT TIME WHEN YOU ARE FULL. Real impudence. Too bad. A Nuremberg legend died for me.

Can't be reached by phone, I'm absolutely against digitalization... so eat for yourself!

Super delicious pizza and there is a small pizza that is really small and perfect for a meal with children or when you are slightly hungry. Large selection. You just shouldn't expect a restaurant, it's just a stand-up snack bar.

Very good pizza, prepared quickly with what I think are high quality ingredients. Always tastes very good and there is a large selection. Not cheap but still worth the money. Clear recommendation.

Unfriendly staff. They don't manage to place the order correctly and are then very bold. Pizza was wrong and so was drinking. Mistakes can happen but then at least you expect kindness!!!

Pre-ordered pizza online for 5:15 p.m., asked at 5:30 p.m. because the number wasn't called, the order was lost and was only baked afterwards. I don't have a problem waiting when it's busy, but local orders that were just placed were ready quicker. My suggestion to make a large pizza instead of a small pizza as an apology for the waiting time was not followed through on. All right, I will no longer be a customer here 👋

My personal favorite pizza ever since 1996. But it's a matter of taste. I can only recommend it.

Very bad pizza, Pizza Rosa next to this shop is better

A friend raved about this pizza stand many years ago. I've been waiting ever since to try the pizza. So I had very high expectations. First a bit of general information... the snack bar is located in a short cul-de-sac with easy turning options, right near the south barracks. There are actually plenty of parking spaces there, but it can still get tight at peak times. Right next to it is a second pizza stand (Pizza Rosa), about which I can only say that the owner must be very brave to set up his business right next to it given this competition. When I was there, you could clearly see who had the most repeat customers. While there were only 3 people at Rosa's, there were probably around 8 at Americana's. Nevertheless, no one had to wait longer than 10 minutes for their order, even for larger ones. The pizzas are only available to take away. If you're starving, you can of course eat your food at one of the two bar tables. The selection of suggested pizza combinations is large. But you can also customize the pizza. The pizzas are offered in three sizes, small (24cm), large (28cm) and family (about the size of a baking tray). The prices were surprisingly cheap. (The normal pizzerias cannot keep up because of the additional costs). I was positively surprised by how the payment was processed. At a terminal you enter the order number that you are given when placing your order and you can then choose whether you want to pay by card or feed the machine with cash. The printed receipt can be handed in when you pick it up. I had a big special with the special request to replace the mushrooms with olives. After about 10 minutes my pizza was ready. It was generous and lovingly occupied. And the most important thing at the end - how else do you get readers to stay tuned. .... the quality and the taste. I am very picky about pizza and prefer mostly crispy, thin crust pizzas. However, this pizza had a slightly thicker base and wasn't quite as crispy. Nevertheless, I got a rare good pizza. Compared to most pizzas in years past. I would give it 7 out of 10. I can recommend this pizza stand with a clear conscience. But a long journey isn't worth it either. Conclusion: Well-filled and delicious pizza at a reasonable price, making this stand a good recommendation for everyone who doesn't live too far away.

I bought a pizza and noticed how the boss was very angry with the employees and was constantly yelling and screaming. When the pizza was ready, it was badly burnt and smelled bad. When I went to the boss where I ordered my food, she went to her workers and shouted loudly, "You burned the pizza." I wanted my money back, but she did The boss refused and brought me a pizza that had the wrong toppings! I'll never eat there again, completely disappointed - what would you have expected from a shop where employees are shouted at.

Unfortunately, the pizzas are no longer the same as they were when they were made in the oven and always checked by hand instead of sent through a machine. Staff is always very, very friendly and helpful.

It's a shame that the range of family pizzas is no longer available, so we could always try several... I thought it was ok that there was perhaps a little less topping on it, that's what it was an offer for. But still, there are large pizzas at normal prices everywhere, so picking them up is unfortunately no longer worth it...

It's always been great, great, thick and tasty pizza and the staff is great anyway. Very friendly and helpful, even when there is a staff shortage. I hope the pizzaria still remains.

A very good pizzeria near the Südkaserne in Nuremberg. Staff was very friendly and the same from the start. The pizzas are very tasty and juicy. You can watch the preparation directly. Changes to the pizzas can be made depending on the size at an additional cost. Overall a very good pizza for a good price. Gladly again! :)

This *pizza stall has been a well-deserved local great for decades! However, there is such a rush of customers here (almost constantly) that you can hardly see the stress and rush of the employees. Nevertheless, the well-known quality, huge selection of dishes, always fresh salads and sauces AND still fair prices. Free parking and highly dedicated employees who you can watch while preparing your order. You also have to accept the waiting time

I knew the pizza from the past, every original Nuremberg resident knows it. An American pizza has a high base and plenty of toppings. Today's dough was nothing. Ed liked the ready-made dough from Lidl and also the tomatoes 🍅 sauce, which was ready-made from the jar. The ham must be thin and skinless You could also see that the ham was from the refrigerated section of Lidl. As soon as I took a bite, everything was swallowed like a finished product. I'm so shocked because even Dr ötker's restaurant actually tastes better...then they said they'd rather eat there, then we'd save ourselves pizza boxes. Yes, well, but there are no places. 2 strange tables to set up and a park bench where you can look directly into the house. And if you want to eat in peace, new customers constantly come and watch you eat. So we sat down in the meadow. There was no other option. Conclusion Pizza was really not good. I won't go there anymore and would rather give my money to a clever pizza maker. Quality grade 5 unfortunately :(

We wanted to order a family pizza 🍕. At first we were told this offer no longer exists. When we pointed out the website, the offer suddenly appeared! In addition, you were loudly insulted: “You all want to eat well but don’t want to pay anything!! After a wait of over 30 minutes we got the pizza. It's a shame I went there since childhood. Not in the future!

The pizza is excellent. You have to quickly find your way around the ordering process. The ambience is just bar tables in a parking lot. Still always worth a visit.

Good pizzas at moderate prices (who knows for how long...) It's very good that you can also pay with a bank card there. The parking situation is actually only a little more tense on weekends between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., but there are always (free) parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

These are the tastiest pizzas I know. We always enjoy coming here.

I love the pizza! It's worth a visit every time to eat here. The staff also prepare the food with enthusiasm and friendliness and serve their customers very pleasantly. However, I was greeted very unfriendly by the new employee and shouted at me that I was too incompetent to remember my number, even though she had given me the wrong one. She let out a really annoyed sigh because the system, which based on how fast it was probably running Windows XP or something similar, didn't respond immediately after I successfully typed. Overall, she gave an impression that she had no interest in working or in the customers she served. I felt very attacked and insulted after this visit.

The pizzas and salads are good and can also be made during your lunch break thanks to online ordering. The only thing that really bothered me last time was that we both ordered pizzas with extra garlic and neither could be smelled or tasted. We said that immediately on the spot and got the cheesy answer: “Of course, we should just smell it.” That was the end of the matter for the pizza maker. Not nice especially because it cost extra. He could have just put a little garlic on it and we would have left happy. The 4 points for service are mainly given to the employees who take orders on site. Pizza is very standard and nothing special

Well, I live nearby and have always enjoyed ordering a pizza there. What I got there today was anything but tasty. The pizza (I deliberately ordered it as "double baked" because I know that the dough would otherwise be almost raw when it's ready) wasn't really good. The topping was floating on the tomato sauce when you took a bite, you have the entire coating of the piece in your mouth and it actually tasted like nothing. But the absolute hammer was that I had an older stamp card that had 15 stamps on it. I showed it to the boss while paying at the machine and: She waved it away succinctly from a distance and just said: It's no longer valid, you can throw it away. That's what I call customer friendliness! Something like that is an absolute NO GO! I have been a regular customer there for 39 years, but from now on I will never go there again! Quality great, customer friendliness PFUI!

Oh man. Regular customer for over 10 years. Today I didn't have to wait just under an hour for the pizza, instead of the usual 10-15. Because despite asking twice, the order somehow got lost. Sorry, none. (You could have at least bought a drink or something to make up for it.) And then the disaster. Forgot the extra garlic, it's not that bad. But obviously they were in such a hurry that the base was neither fully baked nor the cheese really melted - not to mention the slight browning. Interestingly, the pizza was only partially sliced. This is no longer the Americana that I always advertised as the best pizza in Nuremberg. It just tasted disgusting. And most of it ended up in the trash, wasting good food and still staying hungry. A pity. I probably won't go there anymore.

My experience with this pizzeria's tuna pizza was disappointing. The delivery came on time, but the taste and freshness of the tuna left a lot to be desired. Worse, an hour after eating I developed severe diarrhea, raising serious concerns about the freshness of the ingredients and hygiene standards. A very unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Pizza Stand spezialisiert nur auf Pizza, meiner Meinung nach wird sehr am Käse gespart und der Teig schmeckt sehr nach Tiefkühl Ware oder ähnlichem. Für die Preise peinlich. Die Konkurrenz neben an macht für weniger Geld wesentlich schmackhaftere Pizza.

Auch die Sonderwünsche per Kommentarfeld wurden beachtet! Sehr gut!! Das Personal war freundlich und die Pizzen waren lecker.

Leider hatte ich nach der Pizza Calabrese (Thunfisch) eine Lebensmittelvergiftung. War auch eindeutig dadurch, dass der Thunfisch nicht verdaut werden konnte. Wir haben euch noch eine Chance gegeben und diesmal habt ihr anstatt Paprika leider Salami verwendet. Aus religiösen Gründen mussten wir die Pizza dem Hund geben. Daher nie wieder …

Ein Pizza zum mitnehmen die einen guten Geschmack hatte. Der Käse gut und der Teig ebenso. Kann ich empfehlen. Es gibt verschiedene Größen, für den großen Hunger vorher schauen!

Spiegelei bei Abholung auch beim Eiweiß noch deutlich roh auf der Pizza. Extra nochmal hingefahren und eine neue bekommen, ok, aber dabei noch blöde Sprüche gehört.

Ich kenne diese Pizzaria seit meiner Kindheit und gehen dort regelmäßig für die Family ganz leckere Pizza holen. Die Qualität ist immer noch die gleich, schmeckt sehr lecker dort.

Leider ist die Qualität nicht die, die wir in der Vergangenheit kennengelernt hatten. Schade. Americana no more.

Heute waren die Pizzen sehr gut. Absolut Klasse. Großes Lob heute. Leider schon oft enttäuscht worden. Bestellung per Telefon nicht möglich. Bonuspunkte/Stempel werden nicht mehr anerkannt aber es gibt eine Kundenkarte die uns leider nicht angeboten wurde. Personal fehlt.
