Pizza was very good 👍 And for our little one there was a children's portion of pasta with Bolognese, which she really enjoyed

The ambience is fine, but I wasn't even remotely convinced. My pizza mista was delicious, I can recommend it. Unfortunately, the service wasn't convincing at all. The employee only ever responded when asked to do so. He was interested in all sorts of things, but hardly ever checked on his guests' well-being. That seemed pretty disinterested. Card payment was not possible. I didn't feel comfortable there. I would probably get a pizza to take away there again.

Very tasty Italian food and very good service

We were very happy that we spontaneously got a table for four people after a sporting event. And when the cards were half thrown on the table and the waiter was gone again. I didn't think this was nice either, but the shop was very full and the waiter was probably very stressed (and perhaps still "new"). I also overlooked the greasy menu... On the first page there was a note saying that if you have any questions about a dish or would like a change, please feel free to speak to the staff. I thought that was nice. The waiter (with short-shaven hair), as mentioned several times in the other reviews, was so unfriendly and annoyed. I had a question, and he replied: he didn't have time for something like that, after all, everything was on the cards and he was gone! At first we thought he was joking... we canceled my friends' order and left the restaurant immediately. There are so many other options for delicious food in Grömitz. This behavior is a “NO GO” these days!!! Unfortunately I had to give it one star.

If I could give 0 stars, I would, we couldn't even enjoy eating there because the service staff was so rude that we left immediately! My friend just wanted to ask a question about the food and was immediately told she should read it herself; He didn't have time to answer questions and took the card away from her! Impossible! We then ate at Luna Rossa, highly recommended, a difference like day and night! If you want to do yourself a favor, don't eat there!

Should be renovated. Food okay but nothing special.

A male service worker with a bald head pointed out to us as soon as we sat down that the kitchen would be closing in 5 minutes! When he said that there was enough to do today, unfortunately he did that to every guest! Food was great, you should rethink the service!

First I have to say that we find the food itself delicious, so we usually came to eat every holiday. During our previous visits, however, we have repeatedly noticed that the restaurant is only interested in money/profit and that customer service is completely unimportant. During one visit, we put together our own pizza (ham, salami, onions, pepperoni) and therefore came to a price of over €20, as everything was billed as an extra request (the most expensive pizza on the menu is under this amount). We have never experienced anything like this in a pizzeria. Today we were in the restaurant again and ordered a salad, but we weren't asked about the dressing, the salad came to the table with vinegar/oil and we asked for a yoghurt dressing, again an extra request for €2. Unfortunately, my wife didn't quite finish the pizza; wrapping it also cost another €1. We have never experienced all of this in any holiday destination. But you can do it with tourists. Despite the food, we will avoid the restaurant in the future.

We had dinner with 4 adults and 1 child, the food was really good, but the service was the worst, very unfriendly and in a hurry, you couldn't finish ordering because he kept running away. Even though it's always busy, you don't keep customers. We go to Grömitz every year and definitely won't eat there again, there are other Italians in Grömitz

Damn tightly packed tables. Any tighter and you would have to crawl over the tables. Pizza is also made a bit too carelessly. Partially until the dough is black... Not so nice. Service, well, what do you expect from a tourist booth? It's just "delivered".... There's room for improvement... But only if you don't want to be like some tourist pizza stall ;-)... I therefore recommend a small Italian restaurant, very close by and within easy walking distance, if you just turn left out of the shop, just before the "Grömitz-Center" follow the street to the right, then you will come across the "AJA" in the Strandallee, corner of “am Strande”, this gem of an original Italian restaurant. Well, the “art” on display is a matter of taste. Of course the food too ;:-))). But everything fits perfectly and is original Italian...

Aufgeschlossenes und freundliches Personal. Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und es gibt keine sonderlich langen Wartezeiten. Definitiv empfehlenswert!!!

We ordered bruschetta, which was served on pizza base instead of baguette. Just terrible. Since we didn't tip enough in the eyes of the waiter, we were shown the middle finger. Below all dignity. We will never enter the restaurant again.

The service is very nice and quick, but the dining room needs a make-over as it seems very old-fashioned and, above all, cramped. It is also very loud in the guest room. The food was okay, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. We had carpaccio as a starter, which was barely edible because of all the lemon juice. This should then be left to the guest themselves. Pizza and pasta were okay, but as I said there is still a lot of room for improvement. And what I see as a big drawback is that you can't pay by card.

The 5 of us wanted to sit outside and we were not allowed to sit outside because there were only tables for 4 people, there was no other solution, even though there was enough space for a 5 chair. We weren't even offered a seat inside and were basically left standing. I have never experienced such bad service! Super unfriendly & not worth our money.

Service wasn't very friendly. The food was OK. After eating we were immediately presented with the bill, even though we would have liked to have had something to drink. That was a sign we should leave (expulsion). There were maybe 6 people in the restaurant. There can be no lack of overwork.

Unfortunately we can only confirm the bad reviews. We have been here several times and have always been satisfied. But today the plates were cleared and the bill was brought straight away without being asked. No chance of ordering dessert or another drink. The bald waiter (unskilled) was just cheeky and rude. This company cannot be recommended. Despite the good food, you have to give it a wide berth. It's a shame, with decent service this would be a recommendation.

We ate very well as a family and it was delicious. There was also a great selection for the little guests. Thank you 😀

Friendly Italian near the pier. There is of course a lot of hustle and bustle during the season, the pasta dishes are delicious.

You can't complain about the food, it wasn't particularly amazing but everyone enjoyed it. The restaurant is not very well located, as people are constantly walking past, but it is nicely decorated and you feel comfortable. The employees all seem friendly at first, but (I can only say this about one specific person) they seem quite arrogant and we experienced two times where a tip was simply refused, as if it wasn't enough for him. This of course affects the overall impression. But overall you can't really complain.

The food came quickly and was very tasty, unfortunately the waiter/owner came about 30 minutes later and wanted to collect. The reason was that time on the terrace was limited. We thought it was a joke, we had a liter of wine + large Bottle of water + appetizer + pizza ordered. He got really rude. Something like that has never happened to us before

We left after the four of us (2 children and 2 adults) had only chosen 2 pizzas and 4 drinks. The employee wasn't comfortable enough to sit outside. We were also told that there was only pizza and pasta, card payment was also not possible... Never again

NO CARD PAYMENT!!! Overall the place is getting old. Very narrow guest room with maximum seating. Loud acoustics and music. Service was quick and friendly with a full house. The food wasn't good. On the pizza with anchovies, large areas were not used at all, very sparingly here and there. Also very weak in taste. The olives still had their pits and were not only hot, but also dried dead after baking and without any taste. Conclusion: typical tourist trap with low performance for quick CASH! Not recommendable !

Ambience isn't that great inside. Everything is very tight It's good to sit outside. Very large selection of food and reasonably priced. Pizza is very tasty. I can only recommend. Pasta dishes are also good. Sauces are often the same with different components 2023: Service is friendly and usually quick. We ate there several times during our vacation. Would love to come back 2024: Service is often unfriendly and service takes a long time. Just drinks and taking the order

Sales, sales - if you just sit down at the table with your friends and just order something to drink - FLY!! That's what happened, we thought it was a joke, but no, bye, we were allowed to pay and leave. We didn't get enough change back. For the small beers we ordered, our friends also simply gave us large ones. That was the case before. Of course it brings more sales. Anyone who goes there should pay attention to what they order and what they actually get. We have never experienced anything like that in Grömitz. Grade 6 for you then cheeky and rude middle-aged gentleman, unfortunately that didn't work at all Behavior. This way of dealing with guests is really beneath all dignity. - Sorry!!

Das Essen war gut, doch die Bedienung war die Unfreundlichkeit in Person, habe ich so noch nie erlebt. Solange dieser Kellner dort beschäftigt ist werden wir dort nicht mehr Essen gehen und wir leben in Grömitz.

Food was ok, but nothing special. The waiter was a disgrace. Wrong, more expensive food charged. When asked about it, he immediately became mushy and didn't want to correct the bill. "Of course the boss wouldn't be there!" Then we were bid farewell amid Italian insults. Total tourist rip off!

Left in the middle of the order, came back 1 minute later and just said we should hurry up, he couldn't wait 5 minutes until we made a decision. As a family of 6, we wanted to eat together only half was delivered and so we had to wait another 20 minutes for the pizza. So one part was finished and the other started later. We were simply forgotten. Very RUDE when paying! Remaining money was thrown on the table without a thank you or anything. As already mentioned, the unfriendly waitress turned away and left! We won't eat there anymore!

This has to be paid and period. After a short discussion, it was changed and an additional euro was disparagingly placed on the table. The whole thing can easily give the impression that people are more interested in quick business than hospitality. According to the motto: new holidaymakers are coming tomorrow (we won't be back) It's a shame about the delicious pizza

We were there around 2 - 3 p.m. the restaurant was pretty empty at the time (pleasant) we ordered bruschetta, a tomato soup and 3 pizzas, plus 3 cokes, we paid €81 for Grömitz, it was limited, the food was plentiful but tasteful Room for improvement, I can still recommend it.

Whenever we are in Grömitz we HAVE to come here. I mean, it's the best noodles in the world after all😉 The employees are always very nice and friendly. The dishes are all very good and of high quality, you can just taste it🫶🏻 Simply a 10/10 again and again🍓🫶🏻

Never go back in. Disaster, the people from Kern are really unfriendly and even send people out who are still eating or want to order a drink, supposedly the tables are reserved.

We took 3 pizzas with us today and enjoyed them on the beach. The pizzas are freshly prepared. We were very happy with everything and even infected other people with it on the beach. :) yummmyy

Had a soup as a starter, I think it was number 33. For my main course I had number 90. Baked spaghetti. Still had 2 cola wheat. So there was no way I was drunk. Apart from the fact that we had to wait a long time for food and drinks, I had a slight urge to vomit after paying. I barely made it home before breaking it all out again. I can't recommend the "restaurant" more.

Spaghetti with shrimp, very tasty. Inexpensive 17.90 and beef fillet with fries and peppers and tomato sauce, also very tasty. Inexpensive 29.90 euros.

The manager is very unfriendly, we were just with our twin because he showed us a table inside where we unfortunately couldn't fit with our twin car.. then he said we don't have another table, bye.. there were only two tables occupied, unfortunately I have to give one star I would give zero.

Immer wieder lecker. Mein Favorit ist der Vorspeisenteller. Geht als Hauptgericht durch. Viel, warmes Gemüse und sehr lecker. Pizza ist super und auch die Pasta kann man sehr gut essen. Keinenlangen Wartezeiten. Der Service ist von zurückhaltend bis sehr, sehr freundlich.

Pizza top. All that can be said about the ambience is that the walkers' dog can sniff your legs. A delimitation would be advantageous. Otherwise I'll go there when I'm back in Grömitz

Price, performance great. Had spaghetti olio. Best spaghetti we've ever had. Big portion. Service was friendly and the restaurant was beautiful. Gladly again.

Entrance at ground level, on the main street. The opportunity to eat inside and outside was given. Friendly staff, lovingly prepared, delicious pizzas and also fries with nuggets for the children's wishes. :) Italian decorated ambience. Price ok for tourist place. Access to the toilet is not wheelchair accessible.

We were there spontaneously after our arrival and were warmly welcomed and promptly shown to a table that had more space than for two people because we had our large dog with us so that he had enough space. We thought that was very nice. Unfortunately, the space was next to the entrance to the toilets, which meant there was a lot of traffic, which we found annoying. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly and attentive and our pizzas were large and tasty. The ambience needs an overhaul. It needed to be painted and unfortunately it wasn't completely clean. Our dog found food from the previous person under the table. Otherwise, the price-performance ratio was right as it wasn't particularly expensive. We would go again despite the shortcomings. See you next time!

Newer ever!!!!! I've never had such a bad meal at an Italian restaurant. Even the simple dishes were a disaster. No trace of Italian. At the end of the season I would have even understood. So walk straight past. It's not worth it!!!!!!!!!

Food was very tasty. Had pizza and pasta. Service went like this. Tables and chairs quite closely spaced. WC could use an update.

Overall it doesn't seem very well maintained. The tablecloth was stained, the cutlery was water stained and the menu was pretty worn and dirty. The food/pizza was very simple and not very tasteful. Payment by EC card was not possible

Food is okay. We ordered to pick up ourselves. Baked pasta once with cream sauce. 1 pasta with cream sauce not gratinated and 1 tortellini gratinated. We got the pasta with cream sauce not gratinated once with tortellini. Since my daughter doesn't like tortellini, we threw them away. We then went back and were accused of having ordered incorrectly. And the boss wanted his tortellini back and was totally rude. When we were back home and my daughter wanted to eat, we saw that we had received completely dry pasta. No sauce, no ham, no anything, just pasta. Then we went there with the tortellini from the trash. We then threw his tortellini out of the trash onto the table and asked if he wanted to burn us. He wanted to make us new pasta but we don't order anything there anymore. We then got our money back. Be sure to avoid this landing. Not the best in taste!

Cute Italian restaurant, super friendly service and the most important thing: top quality food. We are in Grömitz four times a year and then a visit to Al Ponte is mandatory. Cavatelli Al Gamberi are one of the tastiest pasta dishes you can get on the Baltic Sea coast. However, you have to like a certain spiciness. Otherwise the pizzas are absolutely great!

The two of us were there yesterday (February 2024). When we came in we were the only guests, a few more guests came in after us. We ordered 1x pizza and 1x pasta. The pasta came very quickly, after about 10 minutes, but the pizza took a long time. When we spoke to the waiter about the situation, he always just said "The pizza is coming soon." After we waited in vain for the pizza for about 10 minutes and the pasta was cold in the meantime, my partner went to the counter to express our displeasure once again To say it, no one was really interested, the head waiter disappeared into the kitchen when he saw my partner and the other waiter wasn't interested either and just said again "Pizza is coming soon". When we paid for our drinks and wanted to leave we were not listened to and there was no apology. An impossible behavior! Unfriendly and bold! I advise against this store!

Nothing special but quite cheap for the location

We vacation at Al Ponte every year. As always, we received a warm welcome. They have the world's best Buschetta and the other dishes are fantastic. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and attentive. As always, it was very nice. We will come back in any case.
