Addendum July 5th, 2024: I don't go there anymore. The almost €12 salad (Insalata Contadina) is out of the bag and the supplier is held responsible for brown salad after a complaint. They were allowed to keep the money because they probably can't afford fresh "homemade" salad. A few weeks ago I was asked/blamed for my ex-husband not picking up and paying for his order... This is a private matter and I am not my ex-husband. Actually my regular pizzeria for 5-6 years, as orders go quite quickly with an average of 20-30 minutes. But sometimes the quality leaves something to be desired. I usually leave €30-40 lying there. Several times it was €9! Salad (Insalata Contadina) either stale or from the day before?, the lettuce leaves were really disgustingly mushy brown. It was better years ago, you cut back on the ingredients and they are just like that. Four pizzas were recently ordered, cost around €45 and you could pull out a 10-15 cm long hair from one pizza. Really tasty! *Irony*! It was especially embarrassing for me because my visitor had exactly this pizza. If we hadn't been so hungry, I would have brought all the pizzas back! I've already mentioned it personally. and a tip: let someone answer the phone who can understand the order and who you don't have to explain your order to five times... (okay, I like my pizza more special)

Friendly, quick service and the taste of the food is really impeccable. The location is also great, when the weather is good you can sit outside very well.

I was invited to a birthday party at my uncle's house. The food was good, but the landlord and the female waitress were very unfriendly. That's a shame because it ruined everything that was good. Maybe we had a bad day. I actually don't really want to go back.

After we were completely unnerved and wandered through the boring, empty, sleepy and tastelessly renovated Marbach (desperately looking for a restaurant after a long hike), the 'Al forno' was a great choice for us. Located right next to the town's only attraction, Schiller's birthplace, we were able to satisfy our great hunger here. The chef even came out of the kitchen to discuss the ingredients for her lactose-free pizza with my daughter. The staff as a whole is really very child-friendly! The food was served quickly and tasted great. Thanks to this restaurant, our visit to Marbach wasn't a complete disappointment.

I ordered orange juice for the pizza, and they brought me lemonade (in an already uncorked bottle). They pretended that they didn’t understand the words “saft” and “juice”. When I asked why they brought me something completely different from what I ordered, they took out a one and a half liter bottle of orange juice and offered to buy and drink the whole thing (all 1.5 liters). This is the case when the explanation is even worse than the misunderstanding itself. But it all started with the fact that a family with children eating at the next table was brought three glasses of different juices and I also wanted to drink juice. P.S. The pizza and coffee were delicious and great.

A really great Italian. No matter whether pizza or pasta dish. I like rigatoni al forna. The name here makes me even happier. I found my Italian hehe. I wish everyone who reads this from the bottom of my heart happiness 🍀 and love ❤️ because those are the only two things that multiply when shared and I share them with you 🙋‍♂️

Very good pizzeria. Food is great! However, very small. Table should be booked in advance. And there are no parking spaces, you have to park further away and walk. But it's worth it!

I go in once or twice a month for lunch or dinner. I'm slowly working my way through the pizza menu, and every pizza I've tried has been amazing! The desserts are great, too!

Very good cooking. I recommend the oven baked pasta dishes. The tagiatelle with salvia sauce was delicious as well.

We went to eat zander fillet with salad on December 31, 2023. What is on offer is too expensive and the minestrone soup had the stalks of cauliflower and broccoli in the soup! What a shame!

We have been coming to Al Forno for many years and always eat very well there. The restaurant is small and always busy. Reservations are an advantage. The pizzas come from the wood-fired oven and are simply delicious. Even though my pizza base was a bit too dry last time I visited. All other dishes were great as always...

It's a small, beautiful pizzaria and the food is just perfect. For me it's the best pizzaria in the world 😍

Cannelloni zum mitnehmen bestellt. War mit leckeren frischen Nudelteig als Wellen angerichtet aber komischerweise mit gekochten schinken Scheiben und ein paar Hackbrösel gefüllt. Essen war Katastrophe. Hätten Pizza nehmen sollen.

Wunderbare Steinofenpizza, definitiv die beste in Marbach! Der Pizzaboden ist ein Traum und belegt wird hier mit hochwertigen Zutaten.

Wir saßen sehr gut draußen. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Spaghetti Carbonara kann ich nicht empfehlen. Sie wurden in einer Sahnesoßen-Flut serviert, die mir keine Freude gemacht hat. Ich hätte eine Pizza bestellen sollen; die sahen an den anderen Tischen sehr gut aus.

Very good food and fair prices at this pizza and pasta Italian restaurant. Our party of three got two pasta dishes and one pizza, all of which were very good, with generous servings. Restaurant is split between two buildings across the street from each other. Service was very good. We'd definitely go back if we are in Marbach again.

Wir gehen einmal pro Woche hin, weil man hier nicht nur gut isst, sondern auch das Gericht auf der Karte individuell angepasst bekommt. Inhaber, Koch und Bedienung super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Pizzen aus dem Holzofen sind super ebenso wie die Fisch- und Nudelgerichte.

Wir waren als Familie zu fünft dort. Es war recht wenig los. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt. Das Essen war heiß und gut. Pasta, Pizza und Salat. Der Pizzaboden war jetzt nicht so dünn wie man das von anderen Italienern kennt aber für uns ist das ein + und kein -. Wir fanden das super. Service freundlich und schnell. Preislich im Ordnung.

Normally I am very critical with pizzarias but here I was realy surprised and amazed by the pizza. The location is quite good, close to Schillers house/museum, with tables next to the street (only for residents, so not too much trafgic). And for the service, plain south-european hospitality. And then comes the Pizza. Capriciosa. Just perfect. Simple, just as an real italian pizza should be. Perfect dough. Perfect coocking. I will come back just to check if they can reproduce this pizza master piece.

Nach einer schönen Bots Fahrt auf dem Neckar wolten wir gut essen gehen. Und wir hatten Glück das Essen war sehr gut da gibt es nichts zu sagen, habe sogar nach Schlag bekommen ohne mehr zu zahlen. Einfach weiter machen👍👍👍🍀

Wir hatten Spaghetti Carbonara und eine Pizza. Die Carbonara waren sehr enttäuschend, da diese nicht typisch italienisch war, denn sie schwamm in Sahnesauce. Die Pizza war leider auch sehr lieblos zusammengestellt. Es waren unter anderem Ei und Spargel drauf. Das gekochte Ei wurde halbiert und nicht in Scheiben geschnitten - der Spargel waren 2 dünne Stangen .... Alles in allem enttäuschend.

Schade, war mal tolle Pizzeria, aber seit der neue Pächter da ist, schlechte Qualität. Heavy metal Musik und eine geschmacklose pizza die in jeder Dönerbude besser ist. Schade!

Einrichtung bräuchte dringend eine Überholung. Tische sind eng beieinander. Holzofen für die Pizzen ist im Speiseraum. Portionen nett angerichtet und ausreichend groß.

Die Nudeln sind sehr gut und die Soßen, die sie begleiten auch. Aber die Pizzen sind Oberliga. Vielleicht auch weil sie im Holzofen gemacht werden. Service ist sehr entspannt, sympathisch und zuvorkommen.

Super Service et une équipe très sympathique et des prix très abordables, mais malheureusement, pâtes 4 fromages sans goût, nappes tachées, Tiramisu congelé et servis encore à moitié congelé, et espresso sans anctuosité! Décoration trop vieillotte, un coup de peinture fraîche ne serait pas du luxe! Dommage, vu l'emplacement du restaurant et la sympathie de l'équipe ainsi que la qualité de leurs services, ils pourraient avoir un super local! Les détails comptent!!!!

Wir haben dort im Außenbereich etwas getrunken. Die Lage direkt in der Altstadt ist toll. Die Getränke waren günstig, aber der Betreiber/die Bedienung wirkte unprofessionell.

Insgesamt eine gute Pizzeria. Das Essen ist wirklich gut. Leider ist der Betreiber eher unprofessionell und für meinen Geschmack zu aufdringlich.

Auf der Suche nach einer Pizzaria, die durchgehend geöffnet war, sind wir zum "al Forno" gekommen. Wir waren das erste mal dort aber bestimmt nicht das letzte mal. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und ruckzuck bedient. Essen wurde proto serviert und war top. Wir hatten Meeresfrüchtesalat und Pizza aus dem Holzofen. Sehr lecker!!Unsere Kleine bekam nackte Nudeln und anschließend eine Belohnung, weil der Teller leer war. Kinder sind willkommen und wir haben uns sichtlich wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein recht kleines Restaurant was ziemlich eng bestuhlt ist. Reservierung (bei größeren Gruppen) ist zu empfehlen. Von der Einrichtung her, ist das Restaurant in den 80er stecken geblieben. Alles leuchtet in babyblau aber der nette Service und das gute Essen ist für uns ausschlaggebend.
