The outside facade doesn't even begin to show what a beautiful shop lies inside. The vegetable platter and the starter platter for two are simply delicious. The tastiest ham pizza I've eaten in a long time. The staff friendly and accommodating. Price performance top. Highly recommended folks

I rarely, in fact almost never, give just one star. But, after waiting more than 1.5 hours, our children got their food. We're talking about a 1.5 hour wait and that with children. Here we are mainly talking about normal operation. After we (parents) got our food after almost 2 hours, we were no longer hungry. The people who came before us even waited almost 2.5 hours. I didn't become conspicuous because of my wife. But one thing is certain: service is a disaster because you will also be insulted, the food is not OK and the waiting time is a DISASTER. Thanks for nothing. Never again. P.S. : Oh yes, no matter what kind of pizza I chose, it was always: We didn't have it and the steak (I'll call it steak) played hide-and-seek with us (hardly any meat available).

I had Christmas dinner there for the second time with my girls and I can only say it was simply delicious, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, the atmosphere and the staff were simply very good hosts. I'd love to come back.

Tastes great! The menu is manageable and the selection is good, everything your heart desires. The weekly menu also included additional dishes such as mussels. These are almost always worth 5* ;-)

A Modo Mio hat meine Erwartungen an italienische Küche und Gastfreundschaft übertroffen. Die individuell zubereiteten Penne waren ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk und spiegelten perfekt meine Vorlieben wider. Das Ambiente, mit seiner charmanten Gestaltung im italienischen Stil, entführte mich in die malerischen Straßen Italiens und sorgte für eine unvergleichliche Atmosphäre. Der Service war herausragend - professionell, herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Personal schaffte es, eine Atmosphäre der familiären Gastfreundschaft zu kreieren. Insgesamt war mein Besuch bei A Modo Mio eine unvergessliche Reise durch die köstlichen Aromen und die Kultur Italiens. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Ambiente und Personal gut aber Essen zum Mitnehmen nicht gut. Pizzabrötchen hart und schmecken wie vom Vortag. Lasagne auch total trocken. Kaum Soße. Pizza schmeckte aber sehr gut. Verstehe nie warum Pizzabrötchen in Massen vorgebacken werden. Das ist kaum mehr Arbeit die schnell in den Ofen zu schieben und frisch zu servieren. Aber größter Reinfall war die Lasag vom echten Italiener. Dann lieber zu Il Giornale in Merheim. Echter ita, echte Küche

Ahhh ich liebe diese Pizzeria!! Seit 10 Jahren hat franco diese Pizzeria und hat alles richtig gemacht. Preis Leistung top! Bedienung top ,sympathisch und süß! Franco nett ,mega sympathisch Pizzabäcker, lustig und sympathisch Essen super! Preise sind sehr fair! Ambiente geil vorallem ferrari Sammlung, wow! Steinofen mega!!! Relativ schlichte Einrichtung, die nicht erahnen lässt, wie lecker und ursprünglich das Essen ist! Neu jetzt das eigene Olivenöl aus Licata, sehr fein. Die Herzlichkeit und der nette, zuvorkommende Service-unübertroffen! Man fühlt sich willkommen bei Franco, Luigi, Stefano und dem gesamten Team. Immer wieder gerne!

Es ist bei Franco und Rosaria wie bei Familie, dass essen schmeckt immer hervorragend und die Preise sind gut. Seit Jahren meine lieblings Pizzeria.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Pizza war Top! Hatten noch ein Nudelgerichte, was leider versalzen war. Der Herrr, der uns bedient hatte, probierte das Gericht und gestand es viel zu salzig wäre. Das Gericht musste am Ende der Rechnung nicht bezahlt werden, was ich finde sehr gerecht ist! Besser Reservieren, kann sonst sein, dass keine Tische mehr frei sind. Parkplatzsituation ist eher schwierig...Am Straßenrand gibt es ab und zu mal frei Parkplätze, ist aber keine Garantie.

Haben den 40. Hochzeitstag meiner Eltern dort gefeiert. Vorbeigebrachte Deko wurde liebevoll für uns vorbereitet. Sehr nettes Team! Tolles Essen! Immer wieder gern!!!

Super lecker und echt italienisch. Wir sind immer wieder gerne dort. Obwohl wir nur alle paar Monate dort sind, werden wir als Stammgäste behandelt und die Kellner/innen wissen noch genau, wo man beim letzten Mal gesessen hat. Wir sind auch ab und an mit ein paar Kollegen zu Mittag dort. Besonders gut finde ich, dass es die Spaghetti Carbonara sowohl in der "deutschen" Variante mit Sahne gibt, als auch echt italienisch ohne Sahne. Schon das ist ein Grund immer wieder hier hin zu kommen.

In Modo Mio kann man herzhaft italienisch essen. Das Normale Pizza Ding wird ergänzt um tolle Speisen "à la Mama". Herzhafte Salcica, Steinpilzrisotto und Meeresfrüchtesalat. Zum Abschluß fehlt nicht die Zabaione. Ein Heimatort, ein Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen in einem Ambiente, das groß und klein, arm und reich an einen Tisch bringt. Viel italienisches und kölsches Ambiente in bester Art vereint. Hier komme ich gerne und immer wieder zum Essen hin

Das Essen war super. Leider ist in den Stoßzeiten eine sehr hohe und unangenehme Lautstärke zu vernehmen. Das kommt ua durch den glatten Stein-Boden und den Flurartigen langen Raum. Mit einfachen Mitteln könnte man hier entgegen wirken um ein angenehmes Ambiente zu fördern. Es gibt beispielsweise Akustikbilder die die Laustärke senken. Auch können insbesondere an der Decke als auch in den oberen horizontalen Ecken (zwischen Wand und Decke) Akustikschaumstoffteile angebracht werden. Leider wurden keiner dieser Maßnahmen ergriffen. Wer ein Empfindliches Gehör hat sollte dies vorher wissen.

Die Pizza war wirklich sehr lecker und super Service. Leider wieder ein Restaurant welches nicht mit der Zeit geht und nur Barzahlung annimmt oder Nur! EC Karten ab 20€ annimmt. Spontan essen ist hier so leider nicht möglich außer man schleppt sein Sparschwein mit.

Sehr gutes Essen! Vielleicht sogar die beste Pizza die ich bis dato gegessen habe! Kellner waren allesamt auch sehr freundlich. Inneneinrichtung sah schön aus und man merkt, dass man auf viele Details geachtet hat. Das einzige, das besser hätte sein können wären die sanitären Anlagen.

Sehr begeistert von meinem Besuch in diesem Restaurant! Das Essen war fantastisch, hat geschmeckt wie in Italien. Die Preise waren mehr als fair für die Qualität, die man hier geboten bekommt. Das Personal war nett, aufmerksam und hat eine authentische italienische Atmosphäre geschaffen. Obwohl das Restaurant von außen eher unscheinbar wirkt, wird man im Inneren von einem charmanten Ambiente überrascht. Ich hatte einen tollen Abend und kann diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Das Essen war fantastisch und auch der Service toll. Wir hatten draußen einen Platz, es war dort (neben der Mauer) schmutzig und unaufgeräumt. Außerdem hat es stark gerochen, wir haben deshalb den Platz gewechselt.

Hands down the best Italian I’ve ever eaten at. Hospitality was amazing - we made friends with one of the waitresses, the food was extremely good (the best Italian pizza and pasta I’ve had) and the wine was great. Hoping to go back to Cologne every year and eat at this amazing restaurant!
