What a great find in Munich! We ate here three times in a week...friendly service, a cool interior, great beer and wine and fabulous pizza. What else do you need? We just arrived back in Munich, and we are coming back for pizza 🤣

The food was incredibly delicious, and the pizza chef was really friendly. There was something for everyone, from toddlers to jumbo, everything was great.

Formerly Haider's Pizza. We have known the drugstore store for 30 years. I said about 6 months ago that the last time was so bad. Tried it again yesterday...pizza tuna, onions, capers, olives ordered medium size. Very thin, barely any tuna, 2 snippets of onion, 6 capers and 6 olives. The dough was crispy but if the topping was missing, €10.90 and we were still hungry. In the past and with the older gentleman there, the üizzas were well occupied and the customers were standing all the way out to the street. Yesterday my husband and I had another customer and an order. Everything is just not the same as it used to be...Unfortunately It's no longer worth driving from Giesing to Schwabing because of a very poorly filled pizza.

We ordered pizza here in a large order. No special requests from the free text fields were taken into account. The vegan pizza was also not taken into account. The pizza was like rubber. Absolutely inedible. Unfortunately no recommendation

This pizza is already something of a cult in Munich. "The" pizza man isn't the most talkative, but he does his job the way it should be :) For those who oversalt or write too much pepper: then just don't go there, the pizza man has been making the same pizza for decades and it's just always been different.. Small update: I was at the pizza man again today for a long time. Unfortunately the pizza turned out somehow different. The tomato sauce was very special back then, but now it tastes more “normal”. Good but not what it was anymore. Too bad.

Large selection of pizzas. There is something for every taste. From vegetarian to hearty, you'll find what you're looking for. The Pizza Mufti or the pizza with Indian marinated chicken are particularly recommended. Otherwise, just ask the pizza maker and he will recommend the suitable pizza and you will be satisfied.

There have been many very positive recessions written that are still true. Small but fine restaurant where you can look over the master's shoulder while he prepares pizza. The pizza (4 pizza sizes can be ordered) was very, very tasty and I would love to come back when I'm in Munich again.

It is one of the most cozy places that offers homemade-like pizzas. Once u go there, always wanna come back again...I do recommend it...

We wanted to visit the pizza shop on Münchner Freiheit today.....like the last 28 years.....oh, what a shock...our favorite pizzeria can no longer be found. Thank God there was a note on it saying "we've moved....Gieselastr.8" Of course we went straight away and, as always, got the best pizza in the world. For everyone who wants a pizza experience want to experience in a hot way. Gieselastr 8 "Pizzamann Schwabing" is a must!!!!!

The best pizza restaurant in Munich and ever! Very friendly pizza maker :) He whipped up nice fresh pizzas for us in the evening, the small pizzas are perfect! He also liked making it vegan with lots of vegetables :) Price is very affordable. Thank you and see you as soon as possible!

Very good pizzas of various sizes and with thin and crispy dough. Very rich. The cook is a very kind man. The place is clean and nice. You can eat outside. I loved its simplicity and kindness. You can enter calmly. It won't let you down.

I recently dined here, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, making it a comfortable spot for both small and large groups. The pizza is absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and a great variety of toppings to choose from. There’s an older gentleman who works there, and while he may be a bit slower in getting things done, he’s very kind and adds a charming, homely touch to the place. It doesn't get much better than this if you're looking for good pizza and have been for decades.

Chili sauce and salt in excess in the purchased pizza are not necessarily to be expected and are not good, especially for children. Maybe you want to grab a thirst quencher from the fridge for an additional few bucks for the operator's cash register ;)

A really cute little place. The boss is super nice and you can really feel the dedication to his shop, he is very lovable and admirable. The pizzas are very fairly priced. However, I have to say that to be honest it tasted very salty. Otherwise it tastes like a Dr Oetker pizza in places, even if it is freshly prepared, which you can see.

The best pizza in Schwabing lives on! After moving out of Siegesstraße, I rediscovered the former Haiders Pizza on Giselastraße, about 500 m from the old location. The old sign that was already hanging at the drugstore is also there! The pizzas are legendary and as long as the pizza man makes them, they will remain so. Price/performance is absolutely okay. You can order any pizza in four different sizes. All highly recommended. Now there are also places to sit inside and outside.

We had already gone to the pizzeria for pizza; the pizzeria was still on the old street (near the drugstore) about 35 years ago. Our children were not yet born at that time. That was during my youth. I've known the pizzeria since then and back then there weren't two of them making the pizzas 🍕. We like going there because the pizzas are very good and you can watch how the pizzas are made. Everyone who has been going there for pizza for a while says that it is the best pizza in all of Munich and I can't add anything more to that. These are the best pizzas in all of Munich. Unfortunately, you can tell the years have passed since the pizza maker, but nothing has deteriorated. As long as pizzas are still being made here, we will go every two weeks. I hope we can eat pizza there for a long time. You can't tell or write much about it. You just have to try the pizzas and then... simply deliciousrrr.

We spontaneously decided to have pizza during our vacation. From the outside it looked like a normal small snack bar, but inside there is a nice atmosphere that is based on New York style. There are four different pizza sizes, with the classic selection. The owner is very friendly and we felt very comfortable as a family of 5. Toilet very clean, as was the overall impression. The waiting time was short, despite other guests and 5 pizzas for us. Definitely not our last visit!

I eat there for more than 40 years 😊 I do not always eat the same pizza, I have it in different sizes. I am soooo happy this place survived and just moved a few streets away. Now there is more space to sit. You can even play PacMan while you wait for your pizza to take out. This is still number 1 in Munich. Unfortunately there are only 5 stars to give, I want to give 10. * * * * * * * * * * 😋😋😋

As a big fan of Italian pizza crafts, I take advantage of the large selection of excellent pizzerias in Munich every week. A perfectly baked pizza dough, a fruity tomato sauce, flavorful cheese and delicious ingredients - you can't get any of that here. The completely over-salted pizza that made me get up at night is much more reminiscent of a pizza from a kebab shop. At the drugstore I got by far the worst pizza in Munich. Anyone who has ever walked through a furniture store shaking their heads, completely not understanding who in God's name is reaching for the ugly sofas: They are the same people who left 5 stars for this pizza. Absolute aberration of taste.

I was very satisfied with my visit to Schwabinger pizzaman. The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and crispy dough. The service was friendly and attentive, and the price was fair for the quality and quantity. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty and filling meal. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, with cozy furnishings and relaxed music. The selection of pizzas was varied, from classic to exotic flavors. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the dough was homemade and crispy. The pizza man was very friendly! The value for money was also very good, the portions were generous and the pizza was worth every penny. This is one of my favorite pizza places in Munich.

Delicious, one or two pizzerias can still take a look at it in terms of taste and quality. The atmosphere is really nice and the free Pacman machine is, in addition to the taste, the creatively designed cards and selection of food, an absolute highlight. I've been there several times and I'll definitely go back.

Since then there has been no seafood other than canned tuna and anchovies, which means the selection has been reduced. I also got the wrong pizza today - I ordered with anchovies and got capers instead.

Super delicious pizza, everything is fresh and smells delicious. The store is simply furnished, but has everything you could want. The drinks come in glass bottles, so it tastes better anyway! You can watch the pizza being topped and then put into the oven. As soon as the pizza is ready, you can pick it up at the counter. It's more like self-service. The service is also very nice. The quality hasn't changed and I'll definitely come back more often. Price and performance are 1a.

Nach wie vor unglaublich leckere Pizzen bzw. ohnehin der beste Pizzaladen hier in München. Egal, ob vorher als Haider Pizza oder jetzt an neuer Wirkungsstätte - ausschlaggebend ist allein der Pizzabäcker und der macht seine Sache ausgezeichnet, seit vielen Jahren und auch jetzt immer noch. Vom Ambiente her hat einen ja weder die alte noch die neue Location vom Hocker gehauen, aber wir kommen ja auch nur wegen unserem Pizzabäcker. Solange der seine legendären Pizzen backt, werden wir sicher noch viele Male vorbeikommen!

Der Pizzamann ist eine Institution in Schwabing. An seinem neuen Standort kann man sich sogar zum Essen reinsetzen. Muss man mal eine Pizza gegessen haben.

Wir haben für eine Veranstaltung eine große Menge von 130 Pizzen gekauft. Die Kooperation hat unkompliziert und gut geklappt. Alles wie abgesprochen und die Pizza war warm und lecker. Klare Empfehlung!

Einfach toll. Mein Opa, mein Vater und ich essen hier seit Jahren bzw. Jahrzehnten unsere Pizza. Als das Drugstore an der Münchner Freiheit geschlossen wurde, waren wir wirklich traurig — umso toller, dass es die Pizzeria nun ganz in der Nähe, sogar in noch schöneren Räumen gibt. Preis-Leistung ist genial, die Pizza schmeckt super. Wird frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Sehr netter, ruhiger Herr, der den Laden schon seit Ewigkeiten schmeißt. Große Empfehlung von Herzen! 🥰

Die Pizza war lecker, aber sehr stark gewürzt. Wir mochten es, aber kann für Manche zu würzig sein. Der Service war super, wir wurden direkt bedient und sehr freundlich behandelt. Das Ambiente war gemütlich und die Preise sind - für München - normal.

Leckere Pizza, sehr netter und schneller Service!

Leckere Pizza nach Traditioneller Art von 1967. Super Konzept, Mittagstisch wird angeboten und gibt es in 4 Größen. Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen sowohl draußen. Pizza Hähnchen war super leckere, nur die Jalapenos hätte ich mir geschnitten auf der Pizza vorgestellt. Dafür ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Hier gibt es erstklassige Pizza, wenn man beispielsweise auf Kneipen – Patrouille ist oder vor / nach einem langen Abend. Der Pizzamann ist auf jeden Fall ein Urgestein des Münchner Nachtlebens, ich bin froh, dass ich ihn kenne. Man kann aber auch mittags dort hingehen, wenn man beispielsweise dem Nachwuchs einmal einen echten Pacman – Arcade – Automaten ausprobieren lassen möchte, den gibt es dort nämlich noch. Es ist kein Restaurant, sondern man kehrt eher kurz ein, um seine Lieblingspizza zu genießen.

Die Pizza dort ist immer so gut! 😊 Kenne den Pizzamann von meinem Dad, den erst schon seit einigen Jahrzehnten kennt. Die neue Location dort ist einiges größer und lädt auch zum dort essen ein. Das Highlight ist aber weiterhin die Pizza selber!

Sehr nettes Personal und die Pizzen sind wirklich sehr gut. Und sie bieten sogar laktosefreien Café an.

Meine normale Salami-Pizza hatte eine scharfe TomatenSoße (warum hab ich nicht verstanden) und dann wurde die Pizza zwar vor Ort selbst gemacht, aber sie war trocken, scharf und ungenießbar. Empfehle ich nicht weiter

Neues, tolles Lokal. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei der Pizza kommen Kindheitserinnerungen wieder hoch. Das letzte mal war ich vor ca. 20 Jahren da, aber der Geschmack erweckt gleich sämtliche Erinnerungen. Hoffentlich bleibt uns der Laden noch lange erhalten!
