Disappointing Experience at Pizza Haus Our visit to Pizza Haus was unfortunately anything but convincing. The daily special, "Frutti di Mare," had little resemblance to a real seafood dish. Three mussels, only two of which were stuffed, some muscle meat, and small pieces of squid – but no shrimp or other typical ingredients. The taste was over-seasoned and fishy, ​​lacking the fresh tomato sauce you'd expect. The pizza was also disappointing: dry crust, lacking flavor. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't enjoyable – you can make better things at home.

I have just come out of the Pizza Haus in the center of Schöningen extremely satisfied and blissful. I've eaten there a few times and have been more than satisfied with the food every single time. I think it's clear that they set high standards for themselves when it comes to serving their guests a decent and tasty dish. You can taste that when shopping you really value the freshness and quality of the ingredients, which has a clearly positive effect on the taste. The pizza base is freshly finished after ordering and has the perfect thickness and consistency for my taste that it takes to get the taste and the feeling of eating to the point. In terms of taste, I haven't been to a pizzeria where I like it nearly as much and I haven't been able to find my favorite, the salmon and spinach pizza, on a menu anywhere else. The premises themselves are very comfortably furnished and not too large and you feel a warm, cozy and inviting atmosphere when you enter the store, which makes you feel very comfortable and welcome even for a long time. In summer there is also the option to sit outside and enjoy the sun while you eat. But I personally prefer the indoor one However, as a person with typos, I wouldn't normally write a text because of all these positive points, and I certainly wouldn't go into details. 5 stars and done would be my usual approach, if I don't even forget it. However, I see the hospitality and the extremely pleasant and friendly treatment of the guests as prompting me to express my thanks and satisfaction in this way. Because today I was out and about in Schöningen very late, desperately looking for something warm to eat somewhere and I was already of the opinion that I wouldn't have any luck since all the other shops were already closed. However, the lights were still on in the pizza house, so I went in and asked if there would be anything else to eat. Only then did I realize that it was actually quite close to closing time and that everything had actually already been cleaned. Normally a situation in which I would have felt uncomfortable and left again so as not to cause such inconveniences for myself. But no... I was welcomed so warmly and hospitably and asked to choose a table that I actually felt very comfortable and the owner didn't want to let any guest leave hungry while it was officially open. Despite the late time, my food was prepared with the same care that I know from back then and I was also asked not to rush unnecessarily and to feel at home and make myself comfortable. During the meal I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner and felt really comfortable and welcome. If it hadn't been so late, I would have sat there even longer after dinner and just drank Coke and chatted. When I finally left the shop after a grappa on the house, I not only felt full, as is usually the case in most restaurants, but also happier inside and really happy and filled with the cozy, warm atmosphere, which really surprised me because I was emotionally upset and restless and very restless before entering. And for this uplifting and beneficial experience, I can certainly express my satisfaction in the form of a somewhat very detailed review, which, as I have just noticed, has become a bit very long. (By the way, that's a clear indication that I'm thrilled) Big thanks again to the boss. I will definitely come back. The prices are also absolutely reasonable.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend today. The service, well, people tend to sit down and have a drink themselves instead of providing service for the customers. My friend had vegetarian cannelloni, which were swimming in oil (which is probably more like OPEC's daily production), and there wasn't even a spoon to eat with, just a knife and fork. The waiter or co-owner wanted to tell my friend that it wasn't oil, just water, and that the food was cooked in a stone oven. But water looks different. 👀 I had a Pizza Grande, which was okay with the seafood but had onions on it to no end. These weren't even finely cut, some were just quartered, i.e. very roughly cut. The ambience was very nice with lots of beautiful flowers as we sat outside. Please work on your service and food preparation. Then there will certainly be more stars.

I had a wonderful experience at the pizza house in Schöningen. I ordered the pasta arrabiata and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was perfectly balanced and I could feel the love and care with which they were prepared. The ambience was very cozy and inviting, and the staff was extremely friendly. I was particularly impressed by the boss, who personally prepared the delicious noodles late in the evening. If it were possible I would give more than 5 stars. I will definitely come by again. There were four of us here. Food is great, but you can't pay by card these days (?). Not everyone has 80 euros in cash. The final bill wasn't correct either, but don't worry about it.

Extreme attention is paid to quality. Very clean. The ingredients are TOP. I really have the feeling that it is prepared with care and attention is paid to every detail. The prices are too low in my opinion (I think that's the reason for less than 5 stars because people can't appreciate it). But exceptions prove the rule. Great people behind the counter. As a long-time customer of the pizza house (I visited the shop at its old location on Bismarckstrasse), I recently paid another visit after a three-year break. The experience was characterized by proven solidity coupled with a few points that still offer room for improvement. The house's pizzas have a dough with an appealing taste, but the problem occasionally arises that the dough is not completely baked in the middle. Nevertheless, the topping is of excellent quality and culinary value. A small point of criticism concerns the size of the "large" pizza, which in reality turns out to be a little smaller than expected. Furthermore, it would be desirable for the menu to indicate the sizes of the pizzas in centimeters to give customers a more precise idea. In view of these points, my rating unfortunately cannot reach the highest grade. Because of the criticisms mentioned, I give it four stars. However, I hope to see further improvement in the consistency of the dough as well as clearer representation of pizza sizes in the menu to optimize the overall experience for our valued customers.

Es war Stadtfest, daher drücke ich mal beide Augen zu. Aber die Zeit, um den Tisch abzuwischen hätte man sich nehmen können. Das Essen war für den Preis okay. Leider gab es keine Kinderportionen( auch nicht auf direkte Anfrage) und 1,5 Stunden für den gesamten Ablauf war doch sehr lang, vor allem mit kleinem Kind .

Sowohl Essen, Service, als auch die Preise: Alles einfach wunderbar.

Ich war schon an vielen Orten in Deutschland, um ein gutes italienisches Restaurant zu finden, aber keiner von ihnen war so wie das Pizzahaus Schöningen, das Personal war freundlich, der Pizzameister hat die Pizza gemacht, als würde er in Italien leben, ein wahres Meisterwerk, würde jedem empfehlen, dorthin zu gehen und ihre Pizza zu probieren
