We came here for a lovely dinner on our drive along the A2 because of the great reviews. And we received a really warm welcome, the food is fantastic, the portions are large and excellently prepared. The atmosphere is special, very cozy. Absolute recommendation from us, definitely again!

We had a celebration and booked a table at grandma's kitchen in Schöningen. The food was very tasty. The service was super friendly and I found the whole atmosphere very nice. We come from Braunschweig, but it's worth visiting the restaurant there again.

Been there again after a long time. Very nice ambience, with attention to detail, very good food, but what kind of service is that 😬 Ms. R. said she had to tell us all about her suffering and badmouth her brother, even though we didn't know her at all, we just wanted a cozy get-together sit and eat well.

We held a small family gathering here in the evening. As I had hoped, all the guests were amazed by the atmosphere. As always, the food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly. You won't be able to get rid of us anytime soon 😉

Reserved easily online. We were there with three adults and a 7 year old. Very chic, rustic atmosphere, super friendly service. Price/performance fits. The map is quite clear, which I personally don't think is a bad thing. On the contrary, for me it shows freshness. There was also a seasonal daily menu with fresh mushrooms. Food was super tasty, everything was TOP. Always my pleasure! The only point deducted is that there was a fungus in my teeth that seemed to have not been washed off properly. It can happen, it also shows fresh quality, but it shouldn't happen.

One thing in advance: so far it has been a nice experience to eat there or to take food out of the house. But now - even the staff doesn't understand it - the prices have shot up so much that we're now thinking twice about eating there. To eat: fries lukewarm, almost mushy. Schnitzel - loses the breading Sauce has a lukewarm taste. Chicken - 1A…. But for €13.90 half a (!) rooster is more than cheeky. (The 1A refers to the taste) And honestly the cramped atmosphere doesn't make up for it!

The food is absolutely delicious. The attention of the waitresses was excellent. They are wonderful, attentive, friendly and the service is fast and for a very affordable price. Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Schöningen.

Simply great! The staff immediately gave us a friendly welcome. The children got toys and crayons within a short time and I also had to get the dog out of the car 😅 the food was very tasty. You felt comfortable from start to finish. That's the way it has to be!!! Keep it up ❤️

Terrible. Service rude. Wrong orders delivered 2x (pre-ordered for 11 people with food selection) Drinks are a rip off. Currywurst was delivered without sauce, and 1 burger was cold

The food was very tasty, and as a greeting from the kitchen there was a cup of wild garlic soup! Spicy and unexpected. All you can say about the ambience is: really cozy! And then the last highlight in this series. The service: Super friendly; attentive; fast; quick-witted without being pushy! So six stars rather than five. All in all: A highly recommended restaurant *****!

Great little cozy restaurant. Staff incredibly warm and friendly. Food was excellent and tasty. I think the price is fully justified. You have to look for parking a bit. Reservation is essential unless you arrive very early. Small counter available. Restaurant fills up very quickly. You can also pre-order and pick up food here. Simply very comfortable. I'd love to come back when I'm nearby. My full recommendation.

We haven't been to such a nice restaurant with German cuisine in a long time - it's rare to find one. Came across it by chance on the way back from swimming. We always like a nice little menu. It was a great meal with very nice staff. The ambience coupled with the friendly staff invites you to come back. Great restaurant 👍👍👍

Wir waren heute dort zum Frühstück. An die Gastro zur heutigen Zeit habe ich wirklich gewisse Ansprüche, das liegt nicht zuletzt auch an dem hohen Preisniveau. Dieses Restaurant hat das im Namen steckende Konzept sehr gut umgesetzt. Das Ambiente ist mega und die Bedienung war mehr als freundlich und auf den Punkt aufmerksam. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Allein die kleinen Tische empfinde ich als ausbaufähig, jedoch bietet das Lokal nicht viel Fläche weswegen ich keinen Stern abziehen kann. Macht weiter so! Wir kommen einmal zum Abend, wollen das Essen mal probieren. 3 Personen - großes Frühstück - 46€.

Klein, aber oho! Tolles uriges Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen! Sehr freundliches und sympathisches Personal. Das Ambiente ist wirklich wie bei Omi zuhause :-) Wir kommen wieder!
