Pizza Hut in Bochum

One of the tastiest pizzas you can get from a pizza chain. It's super filling and can easily last for two days or more than one person. The only downside is the price; they're so expensive! 😬

I have to say, the service has improved considerably and is now truly outstanding. I can only say good things about everyone. Everyone really puts in a lot of effort and is courteous. So, at this point, I'd like to give a huge compliment to the entire staff. I'm there almost once a week and so far, I can't say anything negative. I was particularly impressed by the staff member Josephine. A+ with * 👍🏻, although, as I said, everyone here puts in a lot of effort.

Unfortunately, we are very dissatisfied with our visit to Pizza Hut yesterday. It took a very long time to even be served. The service was poor, and the staff were unfriendly. We wanted to go to the restroom to wash our hands, and there was no soap left. We pointed this out to the staff and received the response: "As far as we know, there's soap!" That's absolutely unacceptable, and it's totally rude and inappropriate. Firstly, this statement shows that the staff doesn't even check the restroom. Secondly, I would never have gone there if there had been soap, and I don't understand why the staff didn't immediately go and check it themselves and apologize after hearing such a statement. The pizza used to be better.

I used to go to Pizza Hut all over Germany, and also a lot in the Ruhrpark. Then I stopped for a while. Now we wanted to go there again, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. First, one pizza was delivered incorrectly, and then the pizzas don't taste the same as before. The typical Pizza Hut taste we loved so much is gone. Hardly any tomato sauce, and the little that was on it had almost no flavor. The once-great crust was dry and the flavor was more like that of a bad frozen pizza. It's a shame, we won't be going to Pizza Hut again.

We haven't been to Pizza Hut in a while and wanted to eat some delicious pan pizza again. So, we got a table right away in front of the cinema. That's about it for the positives, unfortunately. Pizza, a bad joke. Sorry guys, where did the delicious pan pizza go? One pizza was completely wrong, the other was the wrong size... Okay, it can happen, but then you just kind of excuse the two drinks, or you make something up. The price is unfortunately very poor considering the service. I'm glad I have small, owner-operated restaurants. We definitely won't see each other again! I'll spare you a photo of the sad pizza.

We had onion rings and chicken pieces, and the quality was truly terrible, and at a comparatively high price.

I haven't been to Pizza Hut in a while. I had fond memories of its amazing pan pizza. But oh dear – the menu was a bit confusing. The small pan pizza costs €18.99, so I don't want to say anything. We eat out often, but I thought that was really too expensive for a small pizza. They used to have quesadillas and a great salad with oranges in it. They're all gone. I was kind of disappointed... The drinks (watermelon lemonade with mango and orange was just water with a syrup mixture) Overall, I was disappointed. We wanted to pay and said so, but the waitress seemed to have forgotten. At least my son enjoyed his pizza.

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the quality wasn't impressive for the price. I wouldn't recommend the pasta here. The service and wait time were fine. But the pasta itself was really not tasty at all.

Good pizza and pasta, and the salad and ginger food are also delicious. We come here often.

I'm very disappointed with the quality and service offered here! I was a big fan of this franchise, but I never expected to rediscover Pizza Hut after a long wait and be so disappointed. The pizza quality was really poor for the price. The cheese wasn't even melted properly... and the side order box for €9.99 was really meager! I'm sorry... For me, this brand is dead forever! Very unfriendly and food tastes like cardboard

The staff was very rude, the food was served cold, the plates were very dirty, and the place was very unfriendly. Unfortunately, I have to say that the previous owners were much better.

I really enjoyed it. The pizza was delicious, freshly made, and quite filling. I'd especially like to mention the staff – super nice, friendly, and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands.

Ordered online: unfortunately, I ordered the wrong item, called right away, and it was already "too late." Basically my fault, but customer service can be better. Material costs are relatively manageable, and it was empty when I picked it up. They could have done something to increase customer loyalty. In short, a greasy salami pizza instead of tuna... Well, I have the toast at home.

When you go to Pizza Hut, you know what you want and what you're getting. So: super delicious pan pizza and friendly service. Prices are a bit high, of course, but rent in Ruhr Park isn't cheap either. A movie night with Pizza Hut is the perfect choice.

We asked for a pizza with more tomato sauce and less cheese. She misunderstood and wanted to bring us a new one. They scraped off the cheese, and there was no tomato sauce left, and it was burnt. It was simply a disgrace. Never again. On top of that, she was rude.

This was our second time at Pizza Hut. The first visit was years ago, and we had fond memories of it. This time, however, we were very disappointed. Even though the place wasn't busy, we had to wait about 30 minutes just to order. When the food arrived, some items were missing (mine was the country potatoes). The rest of the food, which also arrived, was definitely not impressive and looked a whole lot better in the pictures. We got the melts. So, based on our experience, unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it. Given the increased prices, we expected more.

We ate here a while ago. The pan pizza tasted great, just like at every Pizza Hut. The staff was very friendly. The wait time was a bit long, though. The atmosphere was okay.

I agree. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. Anything outside of a standard pizza is not recommended. They don't accommodate your requests, and if you return an almost-entire pizza because it doesn't taste good, you get a halfhearted apology and still get charged the full price. I won't be going there again.

We ordered takeout, but unfortunately, they didn't provide cutlery (or at least a fork). How can you eat pasta without a fork and you're not home? We even asked if we could eat in (because we didn't know they didn't provide forks) or if we could have one, but the answer was "no, it's because of taxes" or something. First of all, great service. Wiam served us, and she was very nice and funny. Really pleasant service. Keep it up. The pizza was also very tasty. It was very quick. The location was also good. The pizza is perhaps a bit overpriced, but otherwise everything was great. We'll be happy to come back.

The pizza was greasy, and we were charged for a more expensive pizza. When we pointed this out, they said the order was already in the system and couldn't be changed. We paid €60 for three pizzas!!!😡

Not recommended! I could have found the starters in the freezer at any supermarket for half the price. If I had prepared them at home, my meal would probably have been completely overcooked, unlike at Pizza Hut. We also left the bruschetta alone, as you could have just as easily eaten a clove of garlic. The "homemade lemonade" is made from a syrup mixed with water and is therefore not fresh at all, just far too sweet. The staff apparently knows that they shouldn't charge for their rubbish, because when we tried to pay, several employees walked right past us without taking our money (we even went to the cashier because the staff no longer walk past your table once you've had your food).

I ordered two medium pizzas. I paid €36 for them. During the (long) wait for the pizza, I noticed an offer on the glass front for €25 for the exact same pizzas. After pointing it out to several employees, I was sent away with apologies. Absolutely not recommended. Stay away! Customer rip-off!

1.5 hours after placing my order, I received a message saying "Order canceled." No response or explanation. No one was available... At that point, hardly any delivery services were open... Thank you, Pizza Hut team...

It was a beautiful day, but unfortunately the small children spoiled the atmosphere, and the pizza dough was soft! Nevertheless, we're very satisfied.

The Magharita pizza tasted absolutely terrible. The sauce was sweet and tasted strange. But hunger drove me to eat it. Luckily, I didn't get any stomach problems, but I did get a disgusting taste in my mouth. Plus, the prices were exorbitant. Never again.

Hello I went for pizza with my wife and kids. I paid with my debit card. It cost 80€ euros. This amount was deducted from my account the next day, but a day later my account was debited again. So I paid twice. (It's annoying but it can happen, technology) Now no one feels responsible. The branch doesn't want to help me. There is no contact person or customer service in Germany. Had dinner there today… oh man 😅 2 adults and a child. One pan pizza in L, one in M ​​and a children's plate. 3 small drinks added, 54€ gone ☝️ 108 fucking DM. Service, after 40 minutes we finally got the drinks - this was also wrong. The store is dingy and noticeably old. The staff was polite but the gastronomy was absolutely far from professional quality. The glasses are gripped at the top, e.g. BTW: it was empty, not full. You can really expect something different for the money and the price-performance ratio makes it very unlikely that you will visit again.

Disappointing Experience We were looking forward to a delicious meal, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The pizza was soft, but the ingredients were literally spread all over it and were completely soggy. Our daughter's meal, on the other hand, was far too hard and inedible. Even worse: After the meal, we all had stomach problems and had to fight diarrhea. The service was friendly, but that couldn't make up for the poor quality of the food. We definitely won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant.

Together with my partner and our child we went to have a pizza at your place. Unfortunately, the pizza was literally floating on the board - both mine and my partner's. The chicken on the pizza probably wasn't good for us because my partner and I had stomach problems all night and had to constantly go to the toilet. We will never come there again. In addition, the bill was very expensive and the quality does not correspond to the price.

There were 2 of us and we ordered 2 pizzas. Pan Salami + Minced Beef & Classic Onions + Tomato + Tuna. It was tasty! The crust of the pan pizza reminded me of a simple dish from my childhood (much like this ratatouille flashback meme). It was great. Even though I was told that the pan pizza should be a little lighter, I couldn't complain. Waiting time wasn't bad. After all, it says “restaurant” at the front and not “snack bar” or “fast food”. With interpersonal interaction (and putting the cell phone away for a while), things went well. With this attitude you should also eat here. I (or we) cannot understand the 3.3. We will definitely come back! Thanks to Miri for the super friendly service!

Since all the escalators were out, I had no chance of getting to Pizza Hut. Funny concept...

Unfortunately, even though the staff was friendly and helpful, I can only give it one star (no, I give it 3 because of the pizzas, which were good). We had to wait forever, even though only a few tables were occupied. Once we placed the order, it took forever to get 3 pizzas, 1 salad and 1 x mixed starter (country potatoes, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, Tex Mex triangles, crispy onion rings). There were onion rings and chicken wings here, yes there were exactly 2 small ones of each on the huge plate. The whole thing with 2 triangles and 6 potatoes. That looked very ridiculous. There wasn't any dip or anything like that either. That for 9.99 was quite a deal. There was no dip with the salad either, we had to request it separately. The pizzas were ok and tasty. But overall long wait for almost nothing (at least for me.) I won't come again. I can't recommend it.

Food delicious, ambience and service catastrophic. We were seated at a dirty table and had to wait a long time to get the card. Only then did it become apparent that the table was dirty and it was temporarily wiped over. Afterwards the table was wet and the cards were placed on it. Yummy. We waited 40 minutes for the food. The pizzas taste delicious, but are expensive. In general, you just noticed how uncoordinated the store was.

We were there before the cinema and wanted to eat something delicious, but unfortunately nothing came of it. The food was subpar, as was the salad. So we won't be coming back. The waitress was very nice, didn't even ask if it was tasty, she could probably guess what the answer would have been. But I told her that we weren't happy, to which she just shrugged her shoulder.

Today, on February 14th, 2025, I was in the restaurant at 8:45 p.m. where I was informed at the reception that no more orders would be taken, only for take-away. How can something like that be? That the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. and you are sent away at 8:45 p.m. Takeaway only. This is an outrage, especially since I came from Dortmund with my partner. I am very disappointed and will avoid this restaurant from now on. Too bad!

Seems very run down: seats broken, sanitary facilities shabby. While eating, one of two pizzas didn't arrive. After waiting for some time I asked that the pizza had been forgotten but could now be made. But the first pizza had already been eaten and I decided not to eat it. Before going to the cinema we had a drink here as a group, Because we still had a little time. Service, unfortunately not at all attentive and rude in my opinion. The whole store isn't really inviting. Unfortunately, it's a shame. It has potential because it is right next to the cinema and should therefore be better. Wir waren seit langem mal wieder bei Pizza Hut im UCI Kino was Essen. Das Personal war super nett und sehr aufmerksam. Besonders die Bedienung "Miri" möchte ich loben, sie war super nett und für jeden Spaß zu haben, es gibt nur eine Kleinigkeit anzumerken, ich war etwas enttäuscht das ich mit meinen "11" Jahren kein Ausmalbild erhalten habe, das hat Sie aber mit einem " besonderen Geschenk " wieder gut gemacht. We went to this store before going to the cinema. First, you should bring your time. Eating a pizza before going to the cinema is hardly possible because the process until the food arrives takes much longer than you are used to elsewhere. The waitresses were all friendly. Unfortunately the prices don't go anywhere. Price/performance is really 0 here! It's all far too expensive and I personally and my girlfriend didn't like the pizzas. Apart from the fact that there was simply a lack of seasoning (e.g. salt, intensity of the tomato sauce), no component of the pizzas appealed to us. It's nice that there's also a vegan option, but it's expensive and doesn't taste particularly good either. We both threw away our pizzas after one slice, which I personally find terrible, but the price/performance took away our appetite and we no longer wanted to believe whether the vegan food was really completely vegan given the bad experience. Unfortunately in the top 3 of the worst pizzas of my life and that considering the prices.

We ate there yesterday with 3 girls and our conclusion: If we didn't always make the best of everything, it wouldn't have been such a great evening! Pizza Hut is more like a hot oven tray experience - once and never again! The food was mediocre, the ambience was mediocre, the service is not to be envied, it made an effort, but couldn't do anything great! We check it out as tried, but it's not our cup of tea! We were there on Saturday, there wasn't much going on, the children's pizza was no longer available because there was a children's birthday party there. The quality of the food is rather mediocre, no comparison to before. The staff friendly, but quite overwhelmed. The cookie was first served raw, after complaints it was burnt. The mushroom should be fresh.

I was expecting tagiatelle with cheese and cherry tomatoes. I got penne with cheese soup.

We were warmly welcomed and served by Azra. We ate the pizza with the cheese crust and it was just mega, the cheese literally came out at you. Only recommended!

We were there at 8:20 p.m. The manager said we couldn't eat in the restaurant anymore even though it was still open for 40 minutes. We had to eat our food like dogs in front of the restaurant and finished eating before closing time while others were still sitting in the restaurant. The manager is a complete disaster and should be replaced. I will never eat there again and I would advise everyone against it

I went there with my wife before going to the cinema and ate. The pizza and the pasta dish as well as the starter were an absolute hit. We had two waitresses and both were very friendly and took their time and explained everything calmly. We will definitely go there more often now.

At 3 p.m. we sat down at the table. We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. There isn't much going on there at that time on a Sunday, so I can't understand why it took so long At 3:20 p.m. I got up myself to ask the waitress to come over and take the order. She took the order and we got our starter (salad) at 3:45 p.m. Then our food at 3:50 p.m. The melts were okay and the pizza (chicken broccoli) unfortunately didn't taste that good. Lacked salt. Ambience terrible, tables were always unclean before we were there and still when we left. Not recommended!

At Pizza Hut Bochum it was delicious again after a long absence!!! Service is great!!! The only thing I find sad is that the Mac'n Cheese version is no longer available!!! My daughter and I loved this Cheesy Crust version!!!

I don't understand the bad reviews?? I was welcomed on Saturday by a nice lady named Sultan and brought to the table. The food tasted great and I didn't have to wait long for it. Management helped at the front. I had a short, nice conversation with Mr. Nuri and everything was great! Keep it up.

The food was at the table quickly. We have been visiting the restaurant for about 5 years and the atmosphere is, as always, very pleasant. Ms. Sultan was very polite and served us very friendly. Kudos for this :)

Very, very bad service, unfriendly and dirty tables and benches! Not recommended at all! 4 things were forgotten and when we brought this to the attention of the staff, it was ignored and we were left sitting for 25 minutes until the management came with the receipt and said this was never ordered. Very bad service, unfriendly and forgetful

No reception, even though it says at the entrance: “We will show you to the table.” Not even a welcome or hello. Then we ordered without any problem and there was even a coloring sheet for children - nice touch. After a few minutes our drinks arrived, but there was no still water, which is really incomprehensible. There was also no proper response even after WE offered to get water from the sub shop (even though that would have been their job). That wasn't allowed, but after a while another family came out of the cinema with popcorn and drinks and nothing was said. Completely inappropriate. We also had Garlic Bread Bruschetta and they were the worst bruschetta of our lives, the tomatoes weren't fresh at all and the bread was so soaked that it was so unbearable that we had to give the plate back after a few bites. No apology or anything like that. A slice of bread was brought with our salad, which was quickly taken away again with the words: "Sorry, that wasn't supposed to go to you." - that doesn't work at all. The pizzas were also better... The homemade lemonades were very tasty, and the American coleslaw salad was also okay. Unfortunately, the young service was not convincing at all and it quickly became clear that the staff had no experience in service, especially when dealing with the non-existent water and taking away the slice of bread as well as the non-existent reception, even though there were 5 people there at the time were. The bill came after an eternity and no attempt was made to correct the problems, not even an apology. We are very shocked and this was definitely our last visit.

If you have a branch next to the cinema, you can assume that people want to go to the cinema after eating. But that could be difficult when visiting this branch... It can even ruin a great trip to the cinema. We were there on Sunday. The restaurant wasn't full. Still, it took 20 minutes just to get my lemonade. The food was supposed to come after almost 40 minutes, but the wrong dish was prepared and we were asked if we wanted to eat the wrong one or would we rather wait longer so that the correct dish could be prepared. Since the time until the cinema was now too short, I just wanted to pay for the limo and leave. Do you know what was the worst? Nobody said "sorry"... I will not visit this store again.

Very bad!! Totally overpriced and doesn't taste good either. The women's toilet stinks... and dirt on the walls is absolutely not recommended!!!!!

Unfortunately it is very disappointing. The tables were sticky and not entirely clean. My pizza came half cold and half baked with an onion peel. The toilets were worst, extremely smelly and very unhygienic. And really expensive.

Be careful when ordering😱 We waited over 30 minutes for a pan🍕 to take away and unfortunately we were not alone in this sad fate 😔. The mood on the “waiting bench” was correspondingly bad. Everyone was told it would only take 15 minutes. Of course, we understand that waiting times may be longer if it is very busy. However, it would only be fair to tell customers the actual time it will take. This is really uncool, especially when going to the cinema. We waited 30 Minutes till we could order. Then another 20 Minutes for our food where they first brought us the the wrong food. The food was cold and they barely have any vegan options. I got a normal Pepsi even tho I asked for a zero. The prices are to high for the quality. If you want to eat fast food go to mcDonalds

Das war das letzte mal! Bedienung total überfordert und unqualifizierten, besteck wurde erst an den Tisch gebracht als das Essen schon da war, auf beiden Pizzen fehlten bestellte Zutat. Bei 3 Euro pro Zutat schon sehr ärgerlich! Der Tisch klebte wie sau. Preise für dir 26 Euro pizza überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt. Früher war es echt super da aber heute ?! Speisekarte wurde geändert und viele Speisen sind verschwunden. Getränke schmecken auch nicht mehr und eine Normale Fanta oder merinda gibt's auch nicht mehr.

We came in and were sent to the upper tables by an annoyed blonde waitress. When we asked nicely for another seat because there were only screaming and running around children in the corner, we were told that there were too many of us. When we finally sat at the table, the bench was greasy, children were screaming left and right and we asked another waitress to clean the bench, who then fetched a rag in annoyance. When the children's screaming became just too loud, we asked again to be moved, which was again denied because there was no space there, so we left. When we went out we saw a free table for six and there were five of us. I also noticed that the brunette waitress had complained about us to her colleagues and that we should leave. I actually really enjoy eating here, but I'm reconsidering whether I really want to be treated like that when I'm already spending a lot of money on a pizza.

We were looking forward to a cozy evening at Pizza Hut, but were unfortunately disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted somewhat rudely by an overwhelmed waitress. Our request for a quieter place, as there were many children playing loudly nearby, was rejected. When we finally sat down at our table, we immediately noticed the dirty bench. The children's screaming was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a relaxed conversation. Multiple requests to the staff to assign us another seat were not fulfilled because there was no space in other seats. In addition, our request to clean the bench seat was only met with annoyance. Since we didn't feel comfortable due to the unhygienic conditions and poor service, we decided to leave without ordering. It's a shame that a restaurant like Pizza Hut, which is usually known for good food, is negatively affected by such poor service and lack of customer focus. We will consider visiting this location again in the future.

I have to agree with the very bad reviews. We were greeted and served very rudely. After we asked if anything that was oily on the seats could be cleaned, the service became even less friendly. There were almost no drinks on the menu and Pepsi schwip schwap etc. Only iced tea and zero drinks. But if I come from Essen specifically to eat pizza at their place, I expect that I also have a choice of drinks. The service was very nice

Pizza Hut offers delicious pizzas with a crispy base and a wide range of toppings. The food was fresh and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the friendliness of the employee could be improved as the service seemed a bit impersonal. Still a good place for a quick, tasty meal!

The pizza was terrible, hardly any toppings (at Chicken Supreme you have to work hard to find the three pieces of chicken. But you find a lot of mushrooms that weren't mentioned in the menu at all. Only the dough tasted good and the employees were friendly and nice. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu, but everything is also overpriced. 0.33L glass of water as expensive as three sixers of good and cheap water.
