And then there's the house cat, Sammy – a true veteran of Pier's Kitchen. He's lived there for years, visibly well-fed, content, and in full possession of his culinary dignity. As a proud, furry gourmet with a penchant for coziness, he's fully dedicated to the enjoyment of excellent cuisine. You can see it in his face: he lives in comfort and abundance, and with every movement he embodies that sovereign calm that only true connoisseurs exude. Pier's Kitchen leaves behind more than just the taste of excellent food – it lingers with a comforting feeling of arrival, appreciation, and genuine hospitality. Every visit is a short break from everyday life, sustained by warmth, enjoyment, and loving details. It's one of those rare places that stays with you for a long time – not just because of the food, but because of the atmosphere that lets you leave with a smile in your heart.

I was privileged to experience Pier's culinary skills. The food was expertly prepared and presented. Pier surprised me with his creativity and incredible attention to detail. You can feel and taste that someone cooks here with a lot of love, knowledge, and enthusiasm. By far the best thing I've ever eaten. Thank you!

Absolutely delicious, but really hard to find. It's best to arrive 10 minutes early and browse a bit. Unfortunately, the staff is slow to get going. But it's definitely worth it once you get a taste for it!

Piers Kitchen can be quickly and easily summarized, unique top and star cuisine. The atmosphere is unique. I, who visited this excellent establishment in spring, was able to enjoy a 4-course meal with wine making on the veranda under a clear starry sky. The staff was very accommodating and the tall, bald-headed waiter wasn't above any gag, one squeal after another of joy escaped my lips with each of his empty phrases, wonderful! Price performance great. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Thanks!

Incredible wine selection! This restaurant had me satisfied in every way possible. The toilets are immaculately well designed and well maintained. In addition, the food selection elegantly covers the Asian and Italian fineness. 5/5 would recommend 100%. Salut to the chef, who personally greeted us at the table and offered us a beautiful plate of freshly cut fruits.

J'etais de passage à Cologne pour un voyage romantique et nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant. Nous étions dans une phase difficile de notre relation mais la nourriture et l'ambiance de ce restaurant nous ont rapproché et a permis de sauver notre couple. Amateur de saveurs, je vous le recommande !

Expérience incroyable, le personnel est très sympathique, je recommande fortement les coquilles saints Jacques avec perles de truffes ! Absolument incroyable ! Sans parler du vin !

Also, um Gottes Willen, machen Sie sich selbst einen Gefallen…und gehen Sie in höchster Eile zu Piers Kitchen, auch wenn Sie tagelang anstehen müssen, digga, ich schwöre, es lohnt sich!

Je recommande fortement les pâtes au pesto avec tomates cerise et filet de vinaigre balsamique. Un délice !

Das Sprichwort „Es zergeht mir auf der Zunge“ trifft hier echt voll und ganz zu! Von allen Restaurants in Köln konnte keins so nachhaltig in Erinnerung bleiben wie dieses. Dazu noch eine absolut nette Bedienung.

This restaurant is simply outstanding. I remember the cook from his restaurant in Tokyo, which he sadly closed. Therefore I made a trip to cologne to visit his newest restaurant. A trip worthwhile! The menu is a futuristic interpretation of various international kitchens - but with a twist: 5-course menus are not served in 2 hours but in 15 minutes. Doesn't sound harmonic, but it is. The experience is unbelievable. Another plus is, that you can catch a flight back to New York on the same day!

Eines der besten Restaurants, was ich auf meiner Weltreise zu verschiedenen Sternerestaurants gemacht habe. Der Service hier übertrifft den des Vêndomes, was wirklich eine Leistung ist. Auch die Auswahl an Speisen und insbesondere die exquisite Auswahl an andalusischen Rotweinen hat uns beeindruckt. Auch das moderne Konzept "ファストフード" des Restaurants hat uns überzeugt. Vielen Dank für das einmalige Erlebnis!

Herrliche diverse Küche, die sich durch sagenhafte Gerichte auszeichnet. Diese - ja, ich will es Zauberei nennen - wird nur noch durch die aufgeschlossene Art des überaus charismatischen Gastgebers übertroffen, der sich nicht zu schade ist, auch mal selbst Hand anzulegen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich bin über dieses kleine Restaurant gestolpert bei einem Spaziergang und dachte mir ich probiere es mal aus. Ich muss sagen, ich habe noch nie so schmackhaft gegessen. Wow. Chef Pier kann mich ab jetzt zu seinen Stammgästen zählen!

War unbeschreiblich. Lebe jetzt schon seit einigen Jahren in Köln, aber habe so ein Essen noch nie erleben dürfen (weder hier, noch in anderen Städten). Ich kann es wirklich nur jedem empfehlen hier einen unvergesslichen Abend zu verbringen. Nicht nur die Bedienung sondern auch das Ambiente sind unbeschreiblich, dazu sind die Produkte wirklich sehr frisch. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Carbonara und das Trüffelrisotto. Gerne wieder

Mir fehlen die Worte! Eine Mixtur aus einzigartigen Gerichten und guter alter Hausmannskost hat mich förmlich vom Hocker gehauen! Der Koch besteht jedoch darauf sehr viel Dankbarkeit für die gute Kost zu zeigen da ein wiederkommen sonst nicht möglich ist!!!

Was here on my second night in Cologne. The children were really hungry and therefore really annoying. My wife still suffers from germanophobia but since we stayed in Pieres Kitchen she is a totally different person. For everyone living in Bristol: This is some of the Best Ratmeat i have ever tasted! For sure worth the visit!!

Nette Bedienung. Corona Maßnahmen wurden eingehalten. Noch nie besser gegessen. Und Kaffee gibts aufs Haus.

Der Chef gibt der italienischen Küche eine neue Dimension. Unvergesslich ist seine Carbonara.... Auch wenn wir vier Monate auf eine Einladung warten mussten hat sich die Wartezeit gelohnt.
