The food is alright, but the portions are ridiculously small, even more considering the astronomical prices We were 4 at the table, ordered the meatballs and got just 3 😅 I would not come back, felt ripped off.

Here you can If you're single, definitely don't go out to eat, you're only tolerated for 1 hour, it smells like a tourist trap, all the tables are reserved, no one is there?? And no card payment, you also have to be a Lilliputian at the small tables, who knows what the food would have been like, just bad for Berlin...

I love tapas, but I was very disappointed by this spot. My dining companion for this meal is a pescatarian, and there were very limited options beyond patatas bravas or potatoes in other formats. The food we did order was very mediocre. Our server was borderline rude when we asked to split a bottle of wine--maybe because we are two women? Our meal was also much more expensive than other, much better meals we had in Berlin.

Love this spot. Our go to restaurant on special occasions. Highly recommend their tapas.

Absolute failure, 30 minutes waiting (standing) for the table despite a reservation, too few employees, mediocre tapas. If this shop were in Spain, it would close tomorrow.

On a beautiful summer day we visited the tapas bar and sat outside. The atmosphere was pleasant and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. The selection of dishes was impressive and every single one we tried was extremely tasty. From classic tapas to creative variations, the cuisine really impressed us. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service. The staff was always attentive and courteous, which made our visit even more pleasant. The prices were reasonable and we found the price-performance ratio absolutely fine. A small downside was the terrace, which could have been a little better maintained. Still, this didn't significantly impact our overall experience. Overall, we can definitely recommend the Tapas Bar and will definitely come back.

Went here for a date night and had a fantastic time! Highly suggest getting 3 dishes per person plus the bread basket, and it will turn out to be a good amount of food. Really great location aesthetically, attentive staff and great food!

We were here for the first time last year and absolutely loved it! It was such a perfect evening that we really recommended this restaurant permanently. We were all the more excited about yesterday - unfortunately it was an absolute disappointment! If we had known beforehand that the owner had changed, we wouldn't have gone. The food and the service are absolutely no longer comparable: Our waiter radiated complete listlessness and a bad mood that you increasingly lost interest in the evening. The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The taste is just average and just plain slapped on. The tapas also came very late, so you couldn't eat them so nicely together anymore. The pork fillet Iberico was very dry and the rib-eye steak with chimichurri was initially served raw and, when told, put back in the pan, slapped completely through (instead of pink) on the plate and brought back to the table in annoyance. It was just an absolute disappointment! To top it off, a maximum of mediocre musicians came into the store, which meant that conversation was no longer possible. It's a shame that when ownership changes, the ratings aren't also set to zero, because that way those interested are misled.

Was there yesterday with a friend. I've been eating out all over Berlin several times a month for years and enjoy trying things out. We really liked it at picoteo yesterday: they were very charming and accommodating to us and gave us a nice table outside. And so we sat with finely seasoned seafood and the right wine accompaniment and enjoyed a beautiful, mild spring evening. I will gladly come again…

We had an incredibly nice evening, with a large group, not only were we served quickly, but the quality of the food as well as the service was fantastic. Especially Theresa, an incredibly good, friendly and charming service person, made us feel as if we were at home!

Service was attentive and kind. The food was very good. Would recommend for groups.

The seat reservations were a bit disorganized for many guests (including us), so some seats were a bit tight or some were simply added to a table that was already occupied. Not everyone likes it. The food was tasty, but didn't blow us away either. Some of the prices do. Will try another tapas bar soon.

Not great, sangria needs improvement, pisco sour doesn't work at all - food is ok, but the service isn't particularly attentive. It's a shame, Spanish/Portuguese evening didn't work out that way.

Food is fine, but everything else was bad. Waited for ages, "house wine" ended up costing 42€, we had to repeatedly ask different workers to get more wine and water glasses as we only got 2/6. We finally got 5/6 wine glasses after 30min and we got the water glasses after we were done with our meal. The waiter was rude and unhelpful. When it was time to pay he stood next to us and pressured us. Complaining that he had work to do and no time for this. Would have been great to see him so eager to work earlier in the night. We won't be coming back as it was an unacceptable experience from a place that used to be good.

The atmosphere is nice but it used to be much better. Tapas and drinks were mediocre at best. We ordered a first round of croquetas de jamon and they were nice but the second time it was clearly some frozen food from the supermarket and for 4.50€ each which is crazy high (it used to be 3€ just last year). No tap water even after ordering a lot of drinks and food, pushy on tips. Overall 125€ for 5 tapas, 2 desserts and 5 glasses of the vinho verde and in all this…. cash only -_-

An absolute no-go restaurant! The waiter paid no attention to the guests we had to wait 15 mins to order. What's worse is that he even noted our orders wrong so that we didn't get all the tapas we ordered. The atmosphere of the place is also horrible as the waiters was running in the restaurant and started to fighting with each other. It was not comfortable and relaxed to seat there. The tapas was also extremely expensive for the quality and quantity. 8€ for 5 paprika is just ridiculous. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place there are more tapas restaurants in Berlin with better price and much better service.

Unfortunately we were misled by the good reviews. I don't even know exactly where to start. Things didn't start off so well because there didn't seem to be enough cards for all the guests and we had to wait to study the card. When we finally got a card, we quickly noticed that the prices didn't match those on the website and were even higher. Here we are now moving into a realm beyond good and evil. Over 7 euros for a few fried peppers. You have to let that melt in your mouth. Cost of goods probably less than one euro. The whole service was always very hectic and there was no cozy atmosphere. Our order was taken very quickly and not too friendly. Of the 5 tapas we ordered, two came first, then our bread with aioli came later (extremely small portion of aioli, which wasn't enough for the whole bread, even if we used it sparingly). Then two tapas were brought that we hadn't ordered and our last tapa was forgotten and not served even when asked. During our entire stay, food from the kitchen was repeatedly carried outside and then back again because the person who ordered it could not be found. One might think that it would be worth taking a little more time when taking the orders... The icing on the cake was a loud argument between the employees. Regarding the quality of the food: Two tapas were quite tasty, the Boquerones fritos were clearly in the deep fryer for too long and I've eaten the pimientos better. In the end we had a tapa on our bill that we had neither ordered nor been served. And of course you couldn't pay by card. Welcome to 2024. Once and never again.

As a Spaniard, I am ashamed that there are places like this. It makes me sad that a German relates the Spanish hospitality industry to this. A jug of sangria 28 euros. But what drug did you take when you made the prices? A plate of Manchego cheese 8 euros. 4 pieces of cheese that were so thin you could make a paper airplane with them. The croquettes... anyway. I don't know if these people have ever eaten croquettes in their lives. Obviously the bread was neither there nor expected. Ah! And we ordered a bottle of wine and they don't open it at the table!!!! They bring us a glass jug with the wine. Who do you want to fool?

Some of the food (calamari, sausage) is very salty and some waiters don't care about customers at all. The taste of paella is not bad, but it is a bit soggy. It's a place with a great atmosphere for drinking sangria and wine with a lot of people, but I can't say that the food and service are good either. The sangria was so delicious.

If there was an option to put a zero star , I would do so . Perhaps someone should choose to visit this place if only he/she is a native German speaker or wishes to practise Spanish. We tried to order but the waiter didn’t speak English and made no effort at all to help showing his boredom,how helpful is this really ? Makes someone feel unwelcome from the first place . Tapas were nothing special and very expensive as well . Keep in mind that they do not accept card payment and you pay only by cash. The waiter didn’t bring us the change and we had to ask for it , how embarrassing and pathetic. There are endless options in this city to go and enjoy your meal , this is not one for sure.

The food is nothing special, the goat cheese smells awfully, so does the plate with sausages (cut in pieces like salami,not real sausages)and ham. Patatas bravas are not bravas in any way The waitress speaks only Spanish, shows no interest in helping a customer to order and the worst part is that he didn t bring the change, we had to ask for it, are we serious ? Noisy atmosphere, make yourself a favor and eat somewhere else ! Berlin has so many nice places

Small but nice restaurant, good staff and service. Unfortunately it's a bit cramped and the tables in front of the counter, well, don't necessarily invite you to linger for a long time, there's a lot of traffic and the counter operation is a bit of a hindrance, but that's okay without a reservation and for spontaneous people. Tastes typical and absolutely nothing to complain about. Decent selection of food and drinks. The price is probably typical for the industry, but a tad too much for me. Conclusion: you can do it!

We are repeat offenders!! Coming to this great restaurant for the second time because we love authentic Kpcje, the wines remind us of holidays in Mallorca and Portugal. The service is courteous and extremely friendly. It was a celebration for us

Food is okay, but don't expect fresh seafood. Employees are very friendly but there is only one star for service because you can only pay in cash. In the end we were able to agree on Paypal. Always running with cash is simply no longer appropriate.

Group of 10, celebrated a friend’s birthday, can recommend it. Great atmosphere, can get loud, but it’s part of the charm, kinda like you’re in a lively Spanish tapas bar with all the chatter. We went on a saturday night, a band played a couple songs. You can request for a birthday cake from the kitchen too!

Really great food and it's nice to sit outside too. It is very loud inside and unfortunately you are asked to leave after exactly 2 hours. That's what we announced, so it's no surprise, but the starter and main course are tight and it's simply a mood killer. Popular or not.

We were here again today for the first time since the change in ownership. The quality has decreased a lot. The menu is almost identical, but the food just doesn't taste as good anymore, rather bland and poorly seasoned. Unfortunately, the previously good cocktails are no longer available. Even more tables have been placed in the room, so that there is no space between the tables. The volume was also very loud. There were also musicians. I often couldn't understand the people I was accompanying, so conversation wasn't possible. After about 45 minutes, thanks to mass processing, we were finished and fled. The waitress tried hard. When we entered the location we were initially made to wait for a few minutes. We were very disappointed and will not come back.

Too little garlic in the food. Garlic cream with bread, well. Tables too narrow. How am I supposed to fit tapas in there? In Spain (where I have been 500 times) it is simply better. Solid for German tastes. Plus: Bavarian light beer on tap. Everyone should try it and form their own opinion. Very nice service and friendly atmosphere.

We have been guests for years. Since the change of ownership, it hasn't been so good. Not good service. The glasses were empty after the first round and when the lady came she pointed out that the table would soon be given away instead of asking first if we would like something more to drink. You don't make sales like that. Tapas are still good, but the mojo has waned. Unfortunately, after two chances, we decided that we would no longer come. The charm from before, where we sat there until closing time and looked forward to the schnapps with the bill, has disappeared.

I'm sorry to post this review but we didn't like the food at first and then for a paella it took 1 hour and a half when the girl told us that half an hour at most. All there is to say, we didn't like the food because the Spanish omelette to give an example It had black pepper, something that no one told us and we didn't even look at what it had and we couldn't eat it, the squid was good, the croquette tasted like chorizo ​​instead of ham... And the paella after so much time waiting when it arrived it was like the tortilla with more spices.....I'm sure people are used to those foods. Not to be Spanish, I wish you luck but I don't like Spanish cuisine.

A very nice, authentic little Spanish restaurant. A table reservation would be an advantage as it fills up quickly. Not all the Tapas that I had here were high-quality unfortunately! Everything I ate gave me the feeling that I could have got them from the supermarket. They dont have a great selection of wine which can accompany different Tapas sorts. The bread that they offered was so dry and hard to eat. They welcome more customers than the restaurant can handle. Unfortunately this causes noise inside and after a while it is impossible for anyone to hear one another. Their location is great. The waiter was polite.

Nice tapas bar with good atmosphere inside. You‘d have to make reservation ahead since it gets really crowded especially durung weekends. Tried many tapas and paella and they were all good. Also if you wanns est desert, Chocolate mousse is amazing!

Awful place. I don’t even know from where to start. I booked a table in advance for two people, we arrived at the restaurant, 10 minutes before the reservation. I was checking in and asked the waiter kindly to let me know if by any chance our table was already free and he was extremely rude with me and kicked me out from the restaurant. Ultimately I had to wait for my table that was gave to us 10’minutes after our reservation. After sitting, we had to wait 30 minutes for someone that came to take our order. We ordered the drinks, wine and tap water and the waiter declined to serve us tap water and told us that he can serve free water only if we are dying from thirsty (so greedy and bad vibe). After that we had to wait another 40 minutes to be able to order our food. In total we wait 1 and half hour for ordering. The food arrived after 30 minutes (total 2 hours before we could finally eat something). We ordered sea food. The food was awful, frozen fish not fresh at all. This place is a scam with uncomfortable people working there and run by greedy money grabbers.

Tastes food, but not a big portion, there are a lot vegetarian options, atmosphere and stuff are nice, I don’t eat seafood but my friends liked it, wine was great too, only one thing is that there is only thing is that payment is by cash only.

It’s a nice spot but food isn’t that great: frozen shrimps, uncooked peppers, chicken with skin only. Service is in a hurry to get you out quickly to bring more customers. Location is great and that’s what you should choose.

The most delicious tapas place in Berlin! Very cosy atmosphere and the best service! Samik was delightful and even surprised us with some limoncello on the house! Definitely check this place out, 10/10!

Food was very disappointing, I was here last time in the summer and it was great. Great atmosphere and nice staff, if a bit over-run. We waited 20 minutes before we even got a drink, which sucked. Sadly not up to standard on the food, so I wouldn’t recommend.

Ich war mit meiner Familie im Pico Tapas-Bar und wir waren alle begeistert von dem Essen, dem Service und dem Ambiente. Die Tapas waren authentisch, frisch und lecker, die Portionen waren großzügig und die Preise waren fair. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Das Ambiente war gemütlich und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das Pico Tapas-Bar ist eine tolle Adresse für alle, die spanisch-portugiesische Küche lieben oder ausprobieren wollen.

Wir waren hier in einer vierer Gruppe und fühlten uns gleich wie im Sommerurlaub. Tolle Düfte, tolles Ambiente, toller Service. Wir hatten reichlich Tapas zum testen. Ganz klare Empfehlungen: boquerones, Papas Mojo, Entrecote, Gambas ala plancha, chipirones und die Nachspeisen. Wir haben sowohl leckeren Wein am Tisch genossen, als auch wunderbar kaltes gezapftes Bier. Ein gelungener Abend

Total spiessig deutscher Laden, von spanischem Flair keine Spur, schlecht gelaunte Kellner und Angestellte und auch die Tapas echt schlecht, sorry. Danach war mir stundenlang übel, kein Witz.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. To bad the food was not very good. The gambas where still raw when served. They went back to the kitchen upin return they seemed to have been deep fried. 2/3rd in size and completely dry. They where taken from the bill. The bacaliones where good and so was the ham. Fishcroquettes where very boring as to my surprise so was the maincourse, a rather small, 3 person pan paella. It contained 5 small gambas(dry), 5 mussels (wet and very salty) 3 small pieces of chicken and some bits of cuddlefish (which whére tastefull and tender). For the rest a boring rice mix. That was for 3 persons 45€ Paella ( see picture) Very disappointing and rather expensive food for Berlin-prices. If the kitchen steps up a bit it could be a nice place.

Eine kleine Location, daher bitte vorab Reservieren. Die vielen verschiedenen Tapas waren sehr lecker. Für jeden etwas dabei. Eine Fischplatte für Zwei hatten wir ebenfalls bestellt. Nachtischvarianten hatten wir auch. Der Kuchen im Glas - mmmhhh. Dankeschön und bis zum nächsten Mal...

Picos Tapas Bar was a wonderful experience we had last night! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We didn't make any reservation since we weren't expectating that the place was so popular, and eventhoug it was full they managed to get us a table.

We’ve been here twice. The first time we found the paella really tasty, however the second time we’ve tried it it was lacking a lot of salt. The fish they use is actually really fresh and good. Regarding the tapas, most of them are really nice but the tortilla was too hard (maybe it was a bit old?)

Sehr enttäuscht, hatte online reserviert hat super geklappt aber als wir nach einem Fahrweg von 50min am Tisch saßen erfuhren wir, das keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist! Angeblich wird das beim reservieren angezeigt. Ist aber nicht so. Als wir die Kellnerin fragten ob Paypal geht, meinte sie das war mal jetzt nicht mehr. Erst als wir aufgestanden sind und beim gehen meinte der Chef dann habt ihr Paypal. Haben einfach ein anderes Restaurant angerufen und einen Tisch bestellt, hier ist alles super.

Wir haben hier einen nahezu perfekten Abend verbracht. Der Service war hervorragend, freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommend, das Essen sehr gut und schnell und die Stimmung einfach toll! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Bier bestellt, nicht bekommen... 1/2 l Wein bestellt, Flasche erhalten... 2x Iberico bestellt, nie angekommen... Verschiedene Tapas bestellt, nur teilweise erhalten... Gleich mit der Einschränkung, Aufenthalt nur 2 Stunden, empfangen worden... Nur cash, wurde auch gleich angesagt... Service ließ zu wünschen übrig, keine Nachfrage mehr, ob alles ok ist oder noch etwas gewünscht wird. Immerhin kam die Rechnung schnell und war korrekt... Schade... Aber... Nicht nochmal!

Das Essen war gut. Es waren nur leider, 5 Bestellungen falsch. - 0,5 Wein wurde bestellt. Eine ganze Flasche kam (0,75) - Spieße Menüs, der Tageskarte, wurden (als Erstes) bestellt, kamen leider nie an. - Kartoffel Tapas leider nicht bekommen. - Es würde nur einmal der Serrano Schinken bestellt. Es kam 3 mal. - Ein Bier wurde bestellt, dass nie ankam. Als einer der ersten Gäste, war es sehr verwunderlich, dass die Bestellung nicht richtig von dem Kellner aufgenommen wurde. Es wirkte so, als wenn sie unterbesetzt waren. Aber das wurde nicht Kommuniziert. Es stimmte alles auf der Abrechnung. Nur war es etwas ärgerlich, dass das nicht ankam, was bestellt wurde. Vor allem, wenn ich dort meinen Geburtstag feiern wollte.

Eine der besten Tapas-Bars der Stadt. Wirklich alles auf der Karte schmeckt fantastisch. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und die Wartezeiten sind kurz. Abzüge gebe ich für den Service wegen des Cash only. Das ist 2023 nicht zeitgemäß, zumal man gerade in größeren Gesellschaften schnell eine Rechnung über mehrere hundert Euro zusammenhat.
