Great staff, so friendly, the location is cozy and relaxing, and the food... Is AMAZING !! Check this place out, fantastic Italian food !

We came all the way from Hildesheim. We had a very delicious pizza 🍕, highly recommended. Very tasty.

The pizza was really, really good!

Unfortunately, instead of the ordered liguine, we only received spaghetti. The service was okay, but €3.50 for an espresso is simply unacceptable. They should take a look at how they charge in Italy...

We ate at Piazza Colombo with four people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The appetizer platter was fantastic and large, and tasted delicious. The pizzas were also excellent, although they could have used a little more topping towards the edges. The drinks were perfectly chilled, the service was incredibly friendly, and the liver pâté (half Sambuca and half Jägermeister) was superb. We'd gladly return!

A wonderfully warm welcome – where do people hold the door open for you these days? Excellent service, complimentary bread and aioli as a small appetizer, a more concise menu than at other Italian restaurants, but everything was very tasty and attractively presented. Prices are on the higher side, but the fresh ingredients and the view of the town hall justify it. If we're ever in Wiener Neustadt again, we'll definitely be back!

We arrived without a reservation, so our table was a bit smaller, very friendly service, sometimes we were a little overlooked because of the small table, food very good, the ice cream is also highly recommended.

I opted for pizza bread and truffle tagietel, both of which were delicious. We sat outside under the patio heater. Aside from the fact that we had to make our presence known both when ordering and paying, there was nothing to complain about...

I went to Pizzeria Colombo with my family today. We chose this pizzeria because of its good reviews. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The pizza wasn't cooked properly for my taste, and the toppings (onions, mushrooms, peppers) were half-raw. So, we can only judge the pizza, and it wasn't good. The service and the ambiance were good.

During our vacation, the four of us spontaneously went to eat at Piazza Colombo in Wernigerode – and we were absolutely thrilled! We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and of course, our Labrador was allowed to join us at the table, which we found very pleasant. The food was excellent: fresh, delicious, and attractively presented. A particularly positive aspect: everything was served promptly, so we didn't have to wait long. A truly lovely break in a relaxed atmosphere, right next to Wernigerode's historic town hall – great food, friendly service, and dog-friendly to boot. Highly recommended!

Very professional and friendly service. Very good and freshly prepared food. We ordered two starters for four. No problem! A really pleasant atmosphere. And to top it off: For dessert, the family gets to eat ice cream in a cone at the table. Amazing! After a 28.5 km hike, this was a truly wonderful stop. We'll be back...

Whether the 4.9 stars are actually correct here is questionable. We are skeptical, as honest and friendly reviews are deleted by Google for alleged "defamation." We don't understand the reason behind this. Perhaps for market advantage? They don't know for sure. This has happened several times in our attempts. There weren't a single negative word in the reviews, so you should live with such a rating (and actually learn from it). I wouldn't rely on the 4.9 stars here, unfortunately. Anything below 3 stars seems to be deleted, which prevents an honest assessment. You can see a picture attached, and below is the deleted review. What's wrong with that? It's a shame, because the colleagues here are doing a good job, but not so good that you'd call it "almost perfect," as a 4.9 would be. 4.1-4.2 would be more in keeping with reality. Before this review is likely deleted, we think it's worth saying that the staff is actually very friendly. But that's about it. The ambiance is run-of-the-mill, and the food is okay. It's okay once in a while, but it's not exactly amazing (which is what we expect from a 4.9 rating). Neither for locals nor tourists.

I'd prefer not to give a single star. They weren't unfriendly, but friendliness or even normal customer service looks completely different! We waited an extremely long time – both to finally receive a menu and later for the bill. The food, especially the pasta, is not recommended. Either the chef spilled a bottle of oil on it, or pasta drenched in oil is standard fare there. The porcini mushrooms were also absolutely mushy and overcooked. My request for Parmesan cheese was never fulfilled, so I had to eat my meal "as is." When asked how my meal was, I answered honestly. The waitress offered to bring me more pasta, but by that point, I was already more than full and stuffed (from frustration). The pizza was okay, but not appropriate for the price, but at least it was edible. We even had to ask for the bill three times and waited forever. Of course, we had to pay full price for the bad pasta... So, overall, this restaurant is not recommended at all. There are better options in the immediate vicinity. We were more than disappointed.

We were there as a family with two adults and three children. We had excellent food and a very friendly chef. The staff were also on the ball and very friendly. That's what gastronomy is all about, but unfortunately, it's far too rare in good old Germany.

Highly recommended.. took a short motorbike trip to Wernigerode and nibbled on a delicious pizza.. very busy shop, and yet the food arrived at our table pretty quickly.

We only had one ice cream and two drinks, and the ice cream was delicious. I can't comment on the food, except that the pizzas served at the neighboring tables also looked very good.

Very nice terrace and cosy interior. Service is friendly and fast. However, the quality of the regular Italian dishes (the pasta dishes) was disappointing. Certainly not bad, but it could have been much more refined and more tasteful (better spiced). The mixed salad was also a bit too simple/rustic. None of us had pizza and/or ice, so we cannot judge that. UPDATE September 2025: Please note that more critical reviews - like this one - will be marked as spam ("defamation") by people who apparently don't appreciate an honest, legitimate review and then Google will automatically remove it. We decided to eat here because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed... The food is overpriced. The pizza Parma tastes more like Black Forest ham from Netto than Parma ham. On top of that, it costs €18. However, the service is very friendly, and the ice cream is delicious.

The girl who served me was extremely friendly and diligent, but the food left a lot to be desired. All you want from an Italian restaurant is to eat a truly Italian pizza—not a tasteless pizza with a bad base. The restaurant manager is very arrogant, and instead of allowing his staff to process the payments, he comes himself with the card reader to collect the tips. Because this behavior bothered me, I didn't give him a tip, whereupon he threw the card on the table after I paid. A lack of respect for both the customers and—even more so—for the employees.

At least it's positive that people with disabilities were served. But then to rip them off when paying is completely unacceptable!!!!!!!!!! The boss even went to the guests with a pen and paper. They were supposed to pay €57. He calculated it with a pen and paper. When they asked if it was really that much, he recalculated and suddenly it was only €45. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I can only advise everyone against visiting this restaurant, especially since the service is absolutely abysmal because guests don't count for anything, they just bring money. Even though we were hungry and really wanted Italian food, we decided against consuming more than two beers there.

I rarely, if ever, give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But here everything was perfect. The server was very nice. He was the first to crouch down next to my daughter while she ordered. The pizza (Parma) was thin and crispy, without a black crust. The Parma ham was freshly sliced. Special requests were no problem. The only thing that surprised me, but didn't bother me because I like it, was that they served San Miguel beer (Spanish beer). Since we were sitting outside, we didn't really notice the lovely interior ambiance. The prices were also moderate. Not typical plaza prices.

We were here a few days ago as holiday guests, and unfortunately, we didn't feel any Italian flair at all. The staff seemed rather annoyed, but we were allowed to sit at a table with our dog. Unfortunately, the beer was poured significantly less than requested, and the ingredients on the pizza were no longer fresh (arugula). If you want to check the prices online on the menu, they unfortunately don't match reality. We would have certainly ordered something else, or ordered something, but no one was interested. It's a shame, because we actually love Italian food. Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcome.
