PHOENICIA (Libanesische Essen) in Frankfurt am Main

I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. Being Lebanese myself, I can judge the food and say that it is very tasty and authentic to a certain extent. At least that's how it was when I tried it. I tried shawrma, kafta and sujuck and they are all prepared in a Lebanese style like those prepared in some small fast food restaurants in Lebanon. The owner is friendly and he is Lebanese himself and he also prepares the food so he tries to make it as authentic as possible, unlike other restaurants I have seen that also have Lebanese names but no one like that The person who works there is Lebanese and they do the food wrong. You also need to understand that shawrma is prepared differently in every country in the Middle East. The atmosphere is private as you sit in a corner shielded from the street. The opening times are understandable as the area in which it is located only comes to life on Friday and Saturday evenings. The prices are also understandable when you consider all the costs.

The employee wasn't competent enough to listen to how I wanted my burger and after I pointed it out in the normal way I was shouted at, rejected and finally insulted. Under no circumstances would I recommend this store, I would rather starve!!

I've eaten shawarma there several times, it tastes really tasty and the staff is very friendly. Absolutely recommended

Best cheeseburger of my life!!!!

I've been there several times now and eaten a shawarma. Never with a good ending. Had to throw up every time. The pickles are forbidden, I've never seen anything like them.

The shawarma should be banned immediately. The meat was unappetizing and completely tasteless. 7€ for something like that is an absolute disgrace.

Doner is a lame meal for them, catastrophe there

Nice little snack bar with Lebanese dishes. Still open even late at night. Perfect for a little hunger in between meals.
