Wait to be seated. You will wait. For ages. The staff must be terribly badly paid because they don’t really care. Eventually we got seated and waited another 10mins before we could order. The kitchen was pretty slow too and the food when it arrived was just tasteless. We ordered simple stuff like basic pasta dishes and they were all tasteless. All dishes were 15-20 euro apiece. Frankly I don’t know this place survives. Airport restaurants are always expensive of course but at least they are quick. They have to be quick. This place is geologically slow and the food is awful. Hopefully someone will read this review while they are waiting to seated and save themselves the time and expense.

The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, but what really stood out was the exceptional service provided by Wai Thu. Wai was knowledgeable about the menu especially the Rumpsteak that I wanted to try, her prompt service and warm demeanor made me choose to dine here and the experience was truly delightful. After weeks of travel & headed home, i craved a good burger. Their burger was excellent on any standard and far above any I've had in an airport. Steven, my server, was attentive and welcoming. The kitten robot he works with ensures your food comes out fast and right off the grill.

Food is slightly above average. Prices are high, as expected at an airport restaurant. The overall experience is ruined by a waiter who did not speak English very well and quickly forgot what you just asked for. I ordered a starter and a main. I was barely gain way though the starter, when the main arrived. I tried to explain to the waiter that I want to finish the starter before having the main. Took me 3 minutes to make her understand. I also ordered dessert and espresso. Guess what. The dessert came well before the espresso. Would I recommend? Maybe. Not sure.

This is a restaurant where the employees are racist. After eating with my companion, I paid with cash, and the employee told me to wait for about 5 minutes so she could give me change. I thought they were telling me to wait because they didn't have any cash, but they cleaned other's table and welcomed other customers as usual. They were never busy. I realized it was unfair treatment and asked for the change again. The employee asked me to wait again, so I protested that I had already waited over 5 minutes, and the employee immediately gave me the change. They apparently deliberately delayed my payment for no reason. This is clearly racism and employees should feel ashamed of their actions. Especially in Germany, we need to be more careful about this behavior. This is a store where the employees are racist. After eating with my companions, I paid with cash and the clerk told me to wait about five minutes so he could give me change. We had a wonderful experience at Lucullus Nero while waiting for our flight. Our waitress, Tisch, was absolutely fantastic and friendly throughout. She took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her warm and attentive service truly made our visit enjoyable. We waited about 30 minutes to order. The drinks then came quickly. When we asked after 50 minutes when our food would come, we were told that it was coming now. But it didn't come. All the other people who entered the restaurant at the same time as us had eaten and paid. When we asked further questions, we were cheekily lied to, saying that all orders had been canceled and that it was therefore taking longer and that the waitress was alone, where I saw her colleague serving at another table. Absolutely incompetent and rude. Unfortunately I can't recommend it as a stopover.

After 20 minutes we still couldn't place an order. Have and then sat in the bistro. We picked something good looking (Black Forest). €9 for flour poisoning is simply too expensive. The thing was so dry. There was no ketchup either, that could have at least moistened the thing a little.

I stopped here while at the Frankfurt airport. The environment was comfortable and it was nice to sit down in a proper restaurant. The service was slow, but that is because the server had so many tables. She was super busy. They needed more staff for the number of customers. Menus were available in German or English. The server spoke pretty good English and seemed very used to working with all kinds of guests. The food was good, though a little expensive, it seemed to me. This is a good place if you are looking for a sit-down meal at the airport.

on a 5 hour holdover @ Frankfurt Airport (so bleak, one of my least favourite transit airports) en route back to Sydney from hiking across the Balkans I was fortunate to find Lucullus Nero & experience the excellent service provided by Haris - he is a credit to your restaurant, so friendly & obliging. However I feel the ambiance of the restaurant is being adversely impacted by the food delivery robots - personal service is what matters! no robots please!

We ordered a margherita with vegan cheese and got one with mozzarella. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he said we'd get a new one, but seemed like he thought it was our fault (not his). The Margherita with vegan cheese arrived after what felt like an eternity, but new cutlery was only available upon request. At least we didn't have to argue about the bill; we were charged straight away for just one Margherita. In general, we had the feeling that the employees had to do far too much at once and therefore - understandably - seemed to be very overwhelmed with the overall situation in the restaurant, and we asked ourselves how a restaurant could do so in such a "foolish" way can be operated at all. Not a recommendation from us.

The food is pretty good - we ordered a pizza which arrived using a robotic cart. We ordered Evian water which was on their menu but they gave us Vio instead. They seemed to not have Evian but did not say anything about it. They took cash only on the day we visited. The biggest issue was the forced service tip of 10% - I always tip food services, but deciding on my behalf how much I should tip is not okay if you ask me.

Beware of ordering water, they charge you for it, and not only do they charge you for it they give you the big one, even though you didn’t request it, eight euros later. Also, read the final line on the glass of wine. Two different sizes and they don’t suggest one or the other they just give you the big one.

Worst service with pasta with NO seasoning: My son and I had lunch at the restaurant. Alio Olio and i ordered had 0 seasoning and tasted like nothing. However, since it is an airport restaurant that is always busy, I did not say anything and quietly finished my meal. As we were finishing our meal, there were many people waiting in line, so I asked our server to bring the check so that other customers could be seated. We waited for 10 minutes, and despite making eye contact with the server multiple times, she neither brought the check nor asked us to wait. We then went to the register and asked if we could pay, but the server ignored us and continued helping other customers with non-urgent matters. After seating seven new groups and cleaning up our table, she once again went back to the kitchen, passing right in front of us. I said, “Can I please pay for this because we have waited over 10 minutes.” To my surprise, a male chef came out of the kitchen and started to mock my comment with the entire crew in German. Although I did not understand everything they were saying, they kept repeating “10 minutes! 10 minutes!” and laughed together while shaking their heads. The chef and another server glared at me and my 11-year-old son. This is one of the most ridiculous experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I hope the employees would get some basic training on not mocking foreign customers and be respectful of them.

I had a Ceasar salad that was quite big in size but didn't taste like any of the Ceasar salads I've had before. It was somewhat sweet (notes of barbeque sauce), the chicken was cut along the grain and fried so hard it was dry, while the bread was chewy. There wasn't much of service (part of it was done by a robot, in the beginning a bit unfriendly waitress took my simple order and rushed away, in the end another one brought me bill when I asked for it) but the waitress still demanded me how much tip am I going to give and even highlighted the sum to stress that she wants tip. Can anyone explain why the restaurants at Frankfurt demand tip in such an aggressive way? Don't German laws require that people who work in restaurants get paid by the restaurant? Isn't tipping in Germany customary only when the service is good and even then voluntary?

After all the very positive and VERY negative reviews I was skeptical and thought I'd play some roulette. And I must say I REALLY LIKED IT! The food came quickly (10 min tops) and it looked and tasted amazing (I had the carbonara). Indifferent to earlier reviews, the amount of sauce was just right, not too soggy, and the pasta had a nice bite to it. Heck, even the Rucola was tasty. All in all it was quite nice and filling pre long-way flight,if a tad expensive (18€ for 1 pasta oof). My explanation for the bad reviews is that this place is like russian roulette. Either you get them on a good or bad day, but it has the potential to be great. Also the cat Robot server is just so adorable.

Beautiful, cozy Italian restaurant in the middle of a hectic airport in Frankfurt. It's obviously a very high tempo restaurant, but I had Haris as my server and despite how busy he was, he didn't sacrifice good service. That is always appreciated. It was definitely a great dining experience, not to mention the excellent pasta and wine I had.

Very inattentive service. No questions asked as to whether you would like to reorder something. Dishes are not cleared away. You have to walk there yourself to pay. Food is average.

Vi bestilte det der skulle være nem og varm mad. Karrypølse med fritter. De to andre fik salat. Karrypølsen var kold. Det samme var fritterne. Salaten var overhældt med dressing. Uspiselig. Pølser og fritter røg ud igen og var også kolde anden gang. Vi ventede herefter på en øl til. Der ikke kom. Da vi skulle med et fly måtte vi afbestille.
