We had a wonderful experience at Lucullus Nero while waiting for our flight. Our waitress, Tisch, was absolutely fantastic and friendly throughout. She took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her warm and attentive service truly made our visit enjoyable. If you're ever at Frankfurt Airport, I highly recommend stopping by Lucullus Nero – especially if you're lucky enough to have Tisch as your server! Thank you for making our wait so much more pleasant.

We waited about 30 minutes to order. The drinks then came quickly. When we asked after 50 minutes when our food would come, we were told that it was coming now. But it didn't come. All the other people who entered the restaurant at the same time as us had eaten and paid. When we asked further questions, we were cheekily lied to, saying that all orders had been canceled and that it was therefore taking longer and that the waitress was alone, where I saw her colleague serving at another table. Absolutely incompetent and rude. Unfortunately I can't recommend it as a stopover.

This restaurant doesn't know they're in an airport. It is the slowest restaurant here. It very overpriced too. You should try another spot.

We didn't have any expectations for this place, just wanted a quick pizza and craft beer before our flight. I was very surprised by the delicious pizza we got! Expensive as any other airport restaurant, but nothing else negative. Funny to be served by a robot!

After 20 minutes we still couldn't place an order. Have and then sat in the bistro. We picked something good looking (Black Forest). €9 for flour poisoning is simply too expensive. The thing was so dry. There was no ketchup either, that could have at least moistened the thing a little.

I highlight the friendliness of the staff

I stopped here while at the Frankfurt airport. The environment was comfortable and it was nice to sit down in a proper restaurant. The service was slow, but that is because the server had so many tables. She was super busy. They needed more staff for the number of customers. Menus were available in German or English. The server spoke pretty good English and seemed very used to working with all kinds of guests. The food was good, though a little expensive, it seemed to me. This is a good place if you are looking for a sit-down meal at the airport.

Surprisingly great Diavalo pizza and spaghetti carbonara! Also, they have a fabulous wine collection with some real gems if you ask the manager.

The Diavola and carbonara were delicious. Great wine. Authentic Italian.

People are EXTREMLE unfriendly and rude and pretend they dont speak german

on a 5 hour holdover @ Frankfurt Airport (so bleak, one of my least favourite transit airports) en route back to Sydney from hiking across the Balkans I was fortunate to find Lucullus Nero & experience the excellent service provided by Haris - he is a credit to your restaurant, so friendly & obliging. However I feel the ambiance of the restaurant is being adversely impacted by the food delivery robots - personal service is what matters! no robots please!

Very good service with both Steve and a robot taking care of us. A relaxing environment in a busy airport gave us a nice break from long travel.

Nice and relaxed service (was served by Haris 🙂‍↕️), the food was tasty and I also found the atmosphere very pleasant; the facilities are very nice! Since there wasn't that much going on, I was able to sit and relax and recover from the airport stress :)

Ich war irrt die Geldschein, und er hat 20 Euro mehr genommen .... I think the person serving me was the owner. I got confused about the bill for a moment and paid it by mistake. He swallowed it like nothing happened... Something's not working out, huh? I was doing it Rather, it's like asking what's the problem.. When I calculated it later, I found out that he took 20 euros more.

We ordered a margherita with vegan cheese and got one with mozzarella. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he said we'd get a new one, but seemed like he thought it was our fault (not his). The Margherita with vegan cheese arrived after what felt like an eternity, but new cutlery was only available upon request. At least we didn't have to argue about the bill; we were charged straight away for just one Margherita. In general, we had the feeling that the employees had to do far too much at once and therefore - understandably - seemed to be very overwhelmed with the overall situation in the restaurant, and we asked ourselves how a restaurant could do so in such a "foolish" way can be operated at all. Not a recommendation from us.

It was very nice and relaxing to eat there. The food was delicious and the waiter Haris was great and really lifted our spirits. 🙏 was great

Service was terrible. It took nearly 30 minutes to be seated and then left without ordering after waiting another 20 minutes with no server coming to the table.

The salmon is delicious and the service amazing! Kinga and Fero who were serving us were super nice and played with my 5yo, he loved it :)

The food is pretty good - we ordered a pizza which arrived using a robotic cart. We ordered Evian water which was on their menu but they gave us Vio instead. They seemed to not have Evian but did not say anything about it. They took cash only on the day we visited. The biggest issue was the forced service tip of 10% - I always tip food services, but deciding on my behalf how much I should tip is not okay if you ask me.

After 30 min seating and still nobody coming for the order, I am using the time to write this review and slowly going somewhere else

The food was satisfactory - however they use automatic robots to deliver the food and I assume for this reason are grossly understaffed. Please staff the restaurant appropriately so customers can efficiently eat and get to their gates.

Haris, the server, made the experience worth while. He gave great recommendations and showed genuine care. Fresh and flavourful food and a good menu variety.

Beware of ordering water, they charge you for it, and not only do they charge you for it they give you the big one, even though you didn’t request it, eight euros later. Also, read the final line on the glass of wine. Two different sizes and they don’t suggest one or the other they just give you the big one.

Amazing food and amazing service!

Worst service with pasta with NO seasoning: My son and I had lunch at the restaurant. Alio Olio and i ordered had 0 seasoning and tasted like nothing. However, since it is an airport restaurant that is always busy, I did not say anything and quietly finished my meal. As we were finishing our meal, there were many people waiting in line, so I asked our server to bring the check so that other customers could be seated. We waited for 10 minutes, and despite making eye contact with the server multiple times, she neither brought the check nor asked us to wait. We then went to the register and asked if we could pay, but the server ignored us and continued helping other customers with non-urgent matters. After seating seven new groups and cleaning up our table, she once again went back to the kitchen, passing right in front of us. I said, “Can I please pay for this because we have waited over 10 minutes.” To my surprise, a male chef came out of the kitchen and started to mock my comment with the entire crew in German. Although I did not understand everything they were saying, they kept repeating “10 minutes! 10 minutes!” and laughed together while shaking their heads. The chef and another server glared at me and my 11-year-old son. This is one of the most ridiculous experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I hope the employees would get some basic training on not mocking foreign customers and be respectful of them.

Pizza diavolo very good Kinga (wait staff)was friendly and efficient Hugo (cocktail) was too sweet and its Prosecco was flat.

Here you can have a good meal in a nice atmosphere during a stopover. Thank you Haris for the great hospitality!

Miserable and overpriced airport restaurant. Pizza was tasteless and dry. Food is served via a robot which was filthy and had drops of other customers food all over it, and yet they still ask for a tip at the end.

Haris and Ferro were so wonderful! My daughter has severe food allergies, and they were incredibly helpful and made her feel safe. They boxed up our food to go, so she could have a delicious meal on our overnight flight. I am so grateful for their kindness! They made our day!

We have passed thru the Frankfurt airport on our way back to South Africa Haris serviced us a spicy salami pizza and it is the best I have had in my 41 years we in SA eat a lot of pizzas and we can learn from them well done Haris and your team the pizza is perfect 👌

I had a Ceasar salad that was quite big in size but didn't taste like any of the Ceasar salads I've had before. It was somewhat sweet (notes of barbeque sauce), the chicken was cut along the grain and fried so hard it was dry, while the bread was chewy. There wasn't much of service (part of it was done by a robot, in the beginning a bit unfriendly waitress took my simple order and rushed away, in the end another one brought me bill when I asked for it) but the waitress still demanded me how much tip am I going to give and even highlighted the sum to stress that she wants tip. Can anyone explain why the restaurants at Frankfurt demand tip in such an aggressive way? Don't German laws require that people who work in restaurants get paid by the restaurant? Isn't tipping in Germany customary only when the service is good and even then voluntary?

The service from employees Ferro and Haris is very good! They are very attentive and friendly. The food was filling and the atmosphere was comfortable. I can only recommend.

After all the very positive and VERY negative reviews I was skeptical and thought I'd play some roulette. And I must say I REALLY LIKED IT! The food came quickly (10 min tops) and it looked and tasted amazing (I had the carbonara). Indifferent to earlier reviews, the amount of sauce was just right, not too soggy, and the pasta had a nice bite to it. Heck, even the Rucola was tasty. All in all it was quite nice and filling pre long-way flight,if a tad expensive (18€ for 1 pasta oof). My explanation for the bad reviews is that this place is like russian roulette. Either you get them on a good or bad day, but it has the potential to be great. Also the cat Robot server is just so adorable.

The Food Robot Was The Best For Me

Very inattentive service. No questions asked as to whether you would like to reorder something. Dishes are not cleared away. You have to walk there yourself to pay. Food is average.

Beautiful, cozy Italian restaurant in the middle of a hectic airport in Frankfurt. It's obviously a very high tempo restaurant, but I had Haris as my server and despite how busy he was, he didn't sacrifice good service. That is always appreciated. It was definitely a great dining experience, not to mention the excellent pasta and wine I had.

The service is amazingly slow. The food is acceptable.

The salads were fresh, the pasta was al denté and the sauce was excellent. But most of all I am leaving this comment to highlight the excellent service we had tonight from our waitress who, when we learnt we would not have time to eat our dinner because boarding was moved 20 min earlier, found a way to get our food faster, managed to get us to pay the bill super fast and most of all, found boxes when there were none so we could finish our dinner quietly by the gate. We were so stressed that we would miss the plane (again), she was a life saver tonight. So 5 star for the service!

Haris was a great waiter. He was very busy and yet when he talked with us he wasn't rushed or hurried. He took the necessary time to make sure we had all the information about the menu choices we were pondering. He provided spot on suggestions because I believe he knew the menu backwards and forwards. The food arrived quickly and was hot, fresh and very good quality. We enjoyed our food and Haris processed our bill seamlessly.

Italian restaurant, we ate tuna 🍕 (good), spaghetti pomodoro (good) and rigatoni all'arrabbiata (very good). Prices of the correct dishes. Very funny robot waiter. Overall a good experience.

The food and atmosphere were okay. But it takes too long. Those who are short on time at the airport will definitely not be able to go. It took too long to order food, receive food, and receive the bill. Even if you want to pay, no one comes. I received the bill too late and when I quickly paid it, I saw that it included a tip of more than 10% of the food price. Why did you include a 10%+ tip that you didn't agree with? It's not a lot of money, but I want to be compensated for the time I spent waiting, but I'm angry that they even gave me a tip. Don’t they usually give you the bill first and then come to pay? It's the first time they've brought it to me at the same time, so it's even more absurd after I quickly calculated it. Is this the waiter's intentional action?

Nice seating arrangements, quite and spacious. Fortunately no loud music. Cozy bar area with good selection of takeaway food. Large window front with a nice view of the air planes parking at the gates. A service robot can be admired bringing the food to the tables. Food is a 3.5: Chicken Cesar Salad was a big portion, greens a little stale, lots of chicken meat, seasoning a little uninspired. Okay for an airport restaurant. Probably other dishes are better. Very friendly and attentive waiter. New waitress Whai Thu still has to ease into the job a little. With a little more confidence, a more ready smile and soem more experience she’ll do great. Oil and vinegar dispensers/ salt cellar on the table could do with a wash.

Relax but service is awful and expensive. Picture menu is breakfast but 24 Euro. Fraun face man, miss delivery menus and forced charge even they miss delivery. I ordered normal coffee but Capuccino delivered as this is coffee he told and price more with forced invoice. Kelner was slow attention. If you have a lot of time staying here maybe good idea. They leave you alone long time.

We had 2 oil based pastas. Both were overcooked and had no salt at all. When we were almost done eating, the female waiter cleared our plates, which was very unpleasant, and then asked for a tip. We come to this airport often, but will not be returning.
