Phở Mum in Dresden

Today, Saturday, I was outside at one of the outdoor tables at around 1pm in the best first spring weather. I ordered the really delicious mango curry with salmon and drank a jasmine tea beforehand. Since everything was served relatively quickly and in a friendly manner and the food and the ambience lifted my good mood even more, I'm happy to give it a full 5 stars!

The food was really good, everything was fresh and simply delicious. The service was very attentive and everything went very quickly. I am completely satisfied and will continue to do so.

Great atmosphere, definitely worth coming for 👍🏻 The curry was a bit thin for my taste and the noodles were a bit sticky - but otherwise great! 👍🏻 Unfortunately they kept us sitting for a bit long today. Hardly a chance to order anything.

Didn't look all that Vietnamese inside, but the interior is nice. Unfortunately there was no Asian music, just mainstream pop. The food was very good. Summer rolls and pho were delicious and came quickly. I was a bit disappointed with the green tea; for almost 5 euros I only received a cup with a tea bag. I would have preferred a tea made from loose tea leaves. Nevertheless, a visit is worth it. Take a look and taste it!

They didn't want to serve me because I'm alone. And a group of 6 in front of me had to have a hard discussion so that they would be served because there were too many of them. Ridiculous. Only 3 tables were occupied, a few were reserved and otherwise there was more than enough space.

The restaurant is clean and typically Asian. Very nice lighting (you can read the menu without glasses). The service is friendly and fast. Our food arrived at the table hot or warm. The drinks were also sufficiently tempered and brought in clean glasses. However, there are still a few more vegan products to choose from. Unfried sushi 🍱 options should be included in the selection.

It was a lovely evening at Pho Mum. The food was very good and sufficiently portioned. Everything freshly prepared and no long waiting times! We felt comfortable. We'd love to come back! MFG Freddy

Fried noodles were noodle soup to noodle stew, duck was hard and over fried. The waitress wasn't really interested and still tried to tell me it was fried.

Quite inconspicuous restaurant in the Neustadt. Stopped in spontaneously and received a friendly welcome. Order was taken promptly. Drinks and food came quickly. My dish was the 100 (mango curry sauce with salmon fillet) and I can absolutely recommend it. Everything was very nicely prepared and tasted fantastic.

The service and the restaurant are nice but I didn't find the food tasty at all. I had a soup and there was nothing in it apart from the noodles, pepper and some chicken.

A beautiful ambience in the middle of Dresden's Neustadt. The food is very diverse and really tasty. The price-performance ratio is also great. However, the service was not very friendly and not very attentive.

The food was quite ok: the wonton soup was tasteless, the tom yum soup was very good, although it had few shrimps. The spring rolls were great. Unfortunately, we didn't get a drink or a second course because the waitress forgot our order because she went on a break and the other waitress didn't know how to speak English or German very well. The worst dinner I had in my whole life. Absolutely tasteless food. One dish was way too salty that it was impossible to eat, and the other one tasted like nothing! imagine you expect to eat a nice Asian meal but you get boiled pasta without seasoning. And this pleasure for 17€. The only Asian beer they had on the menu was not available. I asked for mojito, and I was served with rum mixed with lime juice - this was definitely not a mojito, had too much alcohol and no sugar, was impossible to drink. Horrible experience really. We left hungry and very disappointed. Just stay away from this place, if you have taste buds.

Beautiful place with authentic, mega-delicious food! We recommend the Pho Mum soup and the Pho Mum cocktail! For two people just €40, great! The waitresses were very attentive and friendly.

Pho soup described having bean sprouts which is typical. After asking we received maybe 10 sprouts for 2 bowls. Chewey tough pieces in the soup. Chicken like cardboard and the glass of water cost €4.20 each. Rude when confronted.

Changing the order to vegetarian was no problem at all, the portion was decent, the restaurant was very cozy and all the employees were friendly but unobtrusive. Paid €58 for three meals and three homemade sodas. Very tasty and a clear recommendation.

Great Vietnamese restaurant in the new town, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, but is surpassed by the garden, which is awesome! The food is served very quickly and is freshly prepared, which you can taste in every bite. The spring rolls are particularly recommended; nowhere else in Dresden can you get them on your plate better than here!

I have already visited this place so many times and almost tried every vegetarian dish on the menu. the food is always fresh and delicious. i would recommend visiting it 😄 they also have open space to enjoy on a Beautiful day.

This was by far the worst Vietnamese food I have ever eaten. Completely oversalted and there were beetroot in it, which is not typical of Vietnamese cuisine at all. My companion was Vietnamese and she was shocked at how bad this food was and apologized to me on behalf of the restaurant. That's how bad it was for her... It's better not to go there, that's serious advice.

The ambience itself is very nice, especially the inner courtyard is very inviting. Service was attentive and friendly. The only criticism is the food...it was literally a failure. The starter wasn't really done yet. The main course was a salad, which was more of an appetizer in size. According to the menu it was supposed to have fresh mango and tomatoes...they were completely missing. Dressing was more water. Finally we had a soup (since we were by no means full) and that too was more bad than good. Unfortunately, ingredients were missing again. A plus point: the drinks were delicious.

We just ate at Pho Mum and in my opinion it was a total failure! The duck was good, but very little compared to surrounding restaurants for the price quoted. She was good for that. The rice side dish was huge and overly salty. Everything was also very dry because there was no sauce. Real Vietnamese food? Not really… Despite the fact that we were almost alone in the restaurant, my friend and I had to wait a long time for a waitress. My buddy's pasta dish was basically a plate of pasta with a starter on it. In addition, a voucher was not accepted for him. At the price quoted, I would not recommend the restaurant given the very strong competition within a radius of a few hundred meters!

Really mediocre taste and quality for the price(!) ..so I won’t be coming back, and you I’ll get better asian dishes almost anywhere in this street. One can only wonder if the positive reviews written here are even real, or perhaps by someone who is just clueless about asian restaurants in Dresden.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a very chill garden. The food is not very recommended, there is no pho flavor even though the portion is large and complete. The wait staff is super friendly and seems well trained. Peach orange lemongrass tea is delicious, but remember to ask your server to make it Vietnamese style, it's very delicious.

Five of us were there for dinner on a Saturday. There were still a few seats and we sat first in the back yard and finally in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the benches are only designed for two people each, so sitting for three people was super uncomfortable. The service was nice, but not super friendly. The food (I had No 50 with chicken) came quickly, but was absolutely inedible because it was completely over salted. The plates sat for ages and attracted lots of flies. It was ok, but rather reluctant.

Insanely beautiful, modern, but still very authentically furnished restaurant with a small backyard/garden. The food was equally authentic and super tasty! The service was also really nice. You can really only praise every aspect here. Definitely recommended.

I went to dinner with my girlfriend. My food was good and tasted good too. However, my friend's food was difficult to eat. The taste was completely wrong and the mushrooms tasted really musty.

You can sit very comfortably in the backyard. Our starters of fried tofu and summer rolls were outstanding. For the main course we had homemade red rice noodles with duck and padthai with duck. Both cost €16.50 each, which is very expensive.

A really nice location and - especially because of the garden facing the inner courtyard - a good place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Unfortunately the food was less than mediocre. I had the Pho soup; The choice of meat was really so bad that there was so much fat on the meat that had to be sorted out first. You don't expect deluxe meat from Vietnamese, but that was quite an imposition...

Ambience is good – perfect for Instagram. The waiters are also friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food is inauthentic and the prices are sometimes twice as high as usual for the food.

Unfortunately, I read some of the reviews related to discount coupons too late. I also found this restaurant via a third app (NeoTaste) and was really looking forward to eating good pho again. Unfortunately, after showing the app, I got a bowl of hot water, definitely without any spices, with noodles and some pieces of meat, which were unfortunately also completely tasteless. I actually ordered the Pho Mum, which was very expensive but sounded promising. It's a real shame that you're being cheated like that and don't just give up on being a member of these apps. The food was really extremely bad and when I asked, I was laughed at. It was the last time and I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's a shame as a lover of Asian cuisine to be so disappointed. If you avoid the store, there are much better restaurants in the Neustadt

I've never eaten anything Asian like this before. Homemade ribbon rice noodles with vegetables and crispy duck. Something completely new.

An incredibly beautiful restaurant, both outside and inside, it invites you to linger. The service was super nice and accommodating. There is a large selection of dishes that are very lovingly prepared. Drinks and food were super aromatic and refreshing. I can really recommend it! We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Dresden. :)

Absolutely bad. Everything, the food wasn't good, the service & the waiting times were a complete disgrace (the staff couldn't even understand us properly) & the hygiene in the toilets was disgusting. A 10% discount was advertised on Instagram, but could not be redeemed. Unfortunately it wasn't a nice visit from start to finish. We won't be coming back!

Even though it wasn't busy, our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes later. The two meals were then staggered so that the first person had already finished their meal when the second meal arrived. Unfortunately, the food (fried tagliatelle noodles) was also quite salty. If we hadn't been alarmed by the waitress, who was obviously cold and constantly coughing into her hands, we might have at least been able to enjoy the lovely ambience.

Tastes very good. The arrangement on the plate and decoration also looked great. We were satisfied. In terms of price, you have to be prepared for a little more here.

Ganz nettes vietnamesisches Restaurant mit ordentlichem - nicht mehr und nicht weniger - Essen. Spooky wird es, wenn spät abends die Typen von der Schutzgeldmafia kommen. Die dinnieren wie die Könige.

Ich befand mich in der Zeit im Krankenhaus. Da es mir gut ging und ich keine Lust aufs Krankenhaus Essen hatte habe ich ein Restaurant gesucht wo ich mich nicht weit vom Krankenhaus aufhalten konnte. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Die Bedienung lieb und sehr nett und das Essen war traumhaft lecker. Es stehen nicht viele Speisen auf der Karte was ich absolut richtig empfinde. Daher fällt es nicht schwer bei der Auswahl. Für mich 100 Prozent Empfehlung.

Ich hab Pho genommen mit Rind muss ehrlich sagen furchtbar so leid es mir auch tut weil die Einrichtung war sehr schön und sauber. Die Brühe das wichtigste war einfach nicht lecker. Das hatte keinen Geschmack. Das Fleisch was oben drauf geschnitten wurde war komplett voller Fett und muskelfleisch. Also kein Filet wie es sonst ist. Das Fleisch schmeckte zerkocht und war unfassbar hart. Man konnte es nicht essen. Es war wie Kaugummi. Sehr schade. Es war einfach sehr schlechtes muskelfleisch. Es hat auch sehr schlecht geschmeckt, so wie vor Tagen gekocht . So leid es mir tut ich muss ja ehrlich sein. Ich werde da nicht nochmal Pho bestellen gebe dem Restaurant aber noch meine Chance. Werde noch mal hingehen und was anderes probieren. Leider das schlechteste Pho was ich je gegessen habe. Da war einfach kein Geschmack drin. Und das Fleisch habe ich oben ja schon kommentiert. Furchtbar, ich denke viele hätten was gesagt, aber es war so viel los im Restaurant, dass ich einfach nicht wollte, dass es halt schlechten Eindruck macht bei den anderen Gästen. Ich denke, aber die Kellnerin hat es gesehen, weil das ganze Fleisch ja noch auf dem Teller war und man hat die Sehnen und muskelfleisch einfach gesehen. Es war einfach schlecht. Ungeniessbar.

Ich bin durch Groupon vor einiger Zeit auf Pho Mum aufmerksam geworden... Und war seit dem nun schon sicher 5x dort. Wieso? Weil das Vegane Pho hier wirklich super ist! Ich bin normal auch kein Veganer oder Vegetarier, aber nachdem ich hier jetzt sowohl Pho mit als auch ohne Fleisch (inklusive dem Pho Mum selbst) probiert habe, kann ich mit Sicherheit sagen: nehmt das Vegane Pho. Es schmeckt sehr gut weil: Umami, frisch, gute texturelle Unterschiede, es hat tatsächlich Geschmack und ist nicht nur salzig und oben drauf ist die Portion noch gut. Außerdem positiv: der Service ist schnell und freundlich und das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Am Ende kann ich leider doch keine 5 Sterne geben, da der Preis etwas hoch ist und die nicht Pho Gerichte (z.B. Reis Nudeln mit Rindfleisch) nicht ganz so gut sind wie das Pho. PS: der Haus Tee ist auch sehr lecker :-)

Eine ganz neue Erfahrung. War es gestern ein wunderschöner Abend, so ging heute alles irgendwie schief, vergessene Bestellung, das Essen sehr salzig usw.

Super leckeres Essen und hausgemachte Limos!

Essen war wirklich eine 10/10, leckere Vorspeisen. Schnelle und wirklich gute Hauptspeisen. Die hausgemachten Limonaden dürfen dabei nicht vergessen werden. Der Service war ebenfalls super. Das Ambiente hätte nicht besser sein können. Schön dekorierter und dunkler Raum mit nicht zu lauter Musik. Dieses Restaurant kann ich wirklich jedem empfehlen, der die vietnamesische Küche liebt.

Diesmal beim m Essen nur vier Sterne. Ich komme immer wegen der gedämpften Bao Burger. Nur diesmal waren sie frittiert. Auf Nachfrage erklärte mir man, dass die Karte geändert wurde. leider hat das niemand gesagt.

Gutes asiatisches Restaurant in der Alaunstrasse; wir haben hier Groupon-Gutscheine eingelöst und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Guter Service und leckeres Essen. Gerne wieder.

Die Speisekarte hat uns sehr angesprochen. Das Essen und die hausgemachten Limonaden haben uns richtig gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war total freundlich. Preis-Leistung vollkommen okay. Das Ambiente hat uns auch gefallen.
