One of the best Russian cuisine in Dresden. Located next to the Frauenkirche. The lady was very nice and also recommended us something to eat. I wanted to eat more pickles and she just gave it for free.

The ambience was very nice, I also thought the dishes on which the food was served, after more than an hour, were really nice. The lemonade was really tasty. But unfortunately the staff was completely overwhelmed. There was a lack of any service, the dishes at the neighboring tables weren't even cleared away, the dishes weren't even cleared after our starter, I then put them myself on the neighboring table that hadn't been cleared away. Our main course was cold. Unfortunately !!! You weren't asked if you liked the food or if you wanted to drink something else. Unfortunately no recommendation from me!!!! It's a shame ☹️

Despite a reservation, we got a seat in front of the toilet in the half-empty restaurant. Waited 25 minutes and there was no service. No service, no ambience. Not worth it!

Great ambience, friendly and multilingual service staff, tasty, deliciously prepared food - good value for money. Went spontaneously to Aljonuschka on Saturday evening. We hadn't made a reservation - but a table was still found for the two of us. A very nice experience - highly recommended - always again!!!

Typical Russian dishes in a rustic atmosphere. Didn't immediately find the right entrance. There are 2 and the 1st was locked. The restaurant itself is on the 1st floor. We would recommend making a reservation: it was very busy and with only 2 waitresses you should be patient. The service was supported by a robot that brought the food to the table. But they were served by the service staff. Interesting concept. The food itself came pretty quickly and was very tasty. Anyone who likes borsch and solyanka will certainly be satisfied here. We really enjoyed the lentils, vareniki and beef stroganoff and we'll definitely be back.

My husband and I ate here for the first time and it was delicious. Unfortunately my stomach is too small, otherwise I would have tried other dishes.

The food was an absolute failure, the two of us ordered several starters that we knew from other Russian restaurants and directly from Russia. None of it was tasty. The highlight, a shish kebab was simply terribly and untypically seasoned, with matjes in a fur coat I found two tiny shreds of matjes in a deep cup, the bacon tasted like something cheaper from the supermarket, in Russia they serve sour vegetables with vodka... Except The patichons and the pickled tomatoes weren't typical either. I don't have to go out for a Russian meal for that. We would have liked to have invested the €100 better. The ambience and the serving robot weren't exactly inspiring. Were very disappointed...

Food is delicious and plenty. Many vegan options. Space is narrow and overbooked. One can smell the toilet quite aggressively. Service is horrendous - slow and chaotic. Vibe could be better overall

Very tasty and soulful. Not all the money in the world, large portions, I recommend taking meat and vegetable (pickles) plates for several people.

We recently spent a weekend in Dresden with a couple of friends to look at the Christmas market. But then I spontaneously felt like eating in a restaurant near the Frauenkirche and came across this restaurant by chance. A young man even managed to find a place for the four of us, even though there were probably some reservations. The ambience was appropriate and there was even a service robot (which worked poorly). However, the service was really subpar. Not only that neither of the two waitresses really spoke German and communication was only possible with hand and foot, so we waited about half an hour for the drinks. The food came another half hour later without cutlery. When I went to the front of the staff to ask where the cutlery and our missing drinks were, the cutlery was hastily handed to me and the answer was very rude and I should be patient. What I found to be a complete impudence given such a waiting time. However, the food was really great, compliments to the kitchen… you at least give this shop 3 stars.

As visitors to the Christmas market, we wanted to eat something different. My wife grew up eating Russian food and I have been to numerous restaurants in Russia on my business trips. Since we only made our reservation on the same day, we were seated in the bar. This was announced and also OK. There are only 3 stars for the bar on the ground floor, there would be 4 stars upstairs. Unfortunately, both toilets (women's and men's) had no paper or towels... The service was very friendly, but sometimes quite spartan, as the staff was always allowed to walk between the 1st floor and the bar. But we also accepted this with the conscious choice of seating. The starters were quite good, the content of the solyanka was good, but otherwise quite thin and bland. The salmon starter was good. The main courses were very mixed. The shashlik was good (grade 2) and plentiful, the stroganoff was average and quite bland (grade 3) and the portion was manageable, the julienne was unfortunately a mess of cheese, cream and a little chicken and had no taste (grade 6). The table next door was also extremely disappointed with the dish. 2 of the 5 of us had this dish and we clearly told the waitress about it. Unfortunately, apart from an affected face, there was no reaction. We weren't expecting much, but you would have expected a vodka on the house as an apology. But nothing...That's why the otherwise very friendly service only gets 3 stars. For 210 EUR it was an experience, but unfortunately not a positive one...

The food was great. The borscht was the best I have had. There was only one server but she was friendly and was able to manage all the tables. If you like Russian food, you will love this place!

What we ate tasted very good. What should be emphasized is that it has some delicious wines on the menu and authentic drinks. I think it's nice to have the option of a tasting set of 5 small wines totaling 0.25 l. The lady meant well for us and always gave us a little more. Everything freshly prepared and served quicker than expected. Very friendly staff and Russian music made us feel comfortable. Everything here seems to have been made with love. We will definitely come here again.

We were here in June and after all these months we still remember the food here fondly! We were really excited and will come back when we are in Dresden again.

It was very nice with you, we will definitely come back. The solyanka came with plenty of side dishes, but a little more spice/spiciness :-) My wife and I had the Schachlick, the portion of meat was very good and tasted good and the cabbage and mashed potatoes were also very tasty. Not as previously known ;-) Thank you for the lovely evening

The food was good. Unfortunately there was only one service person for the large restaurant - that's of course not enough, but he did his best. Our gourmet block was friendly accepted.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished with old samovars etc. We were a bit hungry in the afternoon after visiting the Albertinum and got some great borscht and a delicious solyanka soup right around the corner. And the vodka was poured to the brim! Very nice service and pleasant atmosphere!

Ten stars from this American 🤗🤗🤗. The lady at the restaurant is very cool and I love their borscht and solyanka. I miss this about America. I hope that I can return one day.

the food and drinks we ordered were all delicious! if i were to return to this restaurant, i would definitely order the shashlik again. the quantity and flavor made this dish worth it. the marinated pork was evenly cooked—not tough to chew, but just right. in my opinion, it was also seasoned perfectly: not too salty, but with a balanced and noticeable marinade.

We hadn't made a reservation and were therefore assigned a very secluded place from which we couldn't see into the actual dining room, which was actually quite simply designed. The restaurant was full, so it took quite a long time to get our drinks and appetizers. We then received the main courses more promptly. But the service was really nice and the food was excellent. We had the bread basket with eggplant paste and herring as a starter. The paste was tomato-fruity with a little parsley, the bread was black and malty, with buttery herring and vodka - delicious. As a main course, the permeni with minced meat filling are highly recommended and the marinated shish kebab with pickled vegetables and seasoning paste was the highlight for me personally. Juicy pork neck, deliciously marinated and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the evening and would happily recommend AljonuschkA. Tip: If you don't know it, you should try kvass and pomegranate wine.

The ambience was ok and the service was friendly. We had "Julienne" but over 20 euros for 2 bowls of spiced meat with coleslaw and 1 slice of brown bread is sporty. The taste was okay but unfortunately it was only lukewarm.

Intimate atmosphere, kind hostess and delicious food. We ordered borscht and another soup, delicious pirozhki and cheese fritters for dessert. There are vegan options. A real pleasure.

The evening was a complete disaster. There were 7 of us and we waited an hour to order the drinks. It took another 20 minutes for them to come. If we hadn't been a group, I would have left for a long time. The soups were lukewarm and so was the main course. I was able to touch the shell of my baked pelmeni. Apparently a person from the service was sick. We then got a discount of €10 per couple. But it doesn't make up for this evening. Positive: the homemade raspberry lemonade was delicious.

It was my first visit to a Russian restaurant, i was very happy to see many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I tried some classic dishes. They were very very tasty. 😋. 100% recommended. its a must visit with a beautifull view to enjoy a beautifull summer evening in Dresden. 😍

Soljanka was amazing. Borscht was good. The salad as with beetroot and herring, (but without herring) was good. Pierogi were not particularly tasty. The view outside is gorgeous.

The Aljonuschka restaurant in Dresden was a real discovery for our family. We came to Dresden for a weekend. The restaurant impressed us with both its central location and the excellent selection on the menu. Among the dishes of Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian cuisine there were also vegan options. I love eating vegan cuisine, so choosing a restaurant is always a challenge for us. It's not easy to find tasty vegan dishes everywhere. Alyonushka did not disappoint us in this regard. We were particularly impressed by drinking tea with a real samovar. The waitress was very polite, friendly and spoke several languages ​​perfectly. We liked this hospitable place so much that we went there a second time for lunch. We heartily recommend Alyonushka. Here it is delicious, beautiful and warm. The restaurant is in a good location. But inside there are unsanitary conditions and tasteless food. The toilet is dirty. I don't recommend it. Waste of time and money.
