Philippus Biergarten in Leipzig

A hidden gem amidst the hustle and bustle of western Leipzig. Here you can relax in peace and occasionally enjoy unique culture.

We have been coming to Philippus Biergarten since some years. They evolve all the time and now is better than ever. Their beer is excellent, the variation of food and drinks is very good and the people working here is always very friendly. In my opinion this place is almost better than any of those overrated places in Karl-Heine-Str.

The beer garden is very shady on the grounds of the Philipskirsche church, an architectural gem in Central German church architecture on the old Karl-Heine Canal. The Philipus beer (pilsner) is brewed in Hartmannsdorf and tastes good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Conclusion: One of the most beautiful beer gardens in Leipzig, well worth a visit.

a wonderfully secluded place, right above the river, with much greenery and large, shady trees. service is friendly, the prices fair, the food decent, the beer great.

Unfortunately the weather is so unpleasant that the beer garden is closed and only opens when the weather is pleasant

Lecker Bierchen und auch Faßbrausen und Kleinigkeiten zum Essen einschließlich Langnese Eis und Kaffes.

Netter ruhiger Biergarten, tolles freundliches Personal und leckerer Kuchen, aber leider etwas klein das Stück.

Kleiner Garten der Phillipus-Kirche. Gemütlich.sehr freundlich. Leckeres Bier. Aber leider nur bis 21:00 Uhr.

Leckeres Essen & süffiges Bier in herrlich lauschig-grünem Ambiente direkt am Karl-Heine-Kanal im angesagten Leipziger Westen, dabei angenehm unaufgeregt. Geheimtipp!

Oase in Plagwitz. Sehr schöner Garten, das Bier schmeckt, entspannte Atmosphäre.

Sehr gemütlich, Preise sind okay. Allerdings nur ein kleines Angebot.

Sehr nette Bedienung und unter Umsetzung der aktuellen Maßnahmen geöffnet. Absolut empfehlenswert, ruhig und etwas versteckt gelegen mit einem schönen, grünen Ausblick - auch auf die toll in Stand gesetzte Kirche.

Tolle Lage, sehr ruhig gelegen und das Bier schmeckt.
