Pappelschänke in Leipzig

Great pub! The owners were super friendly, which was great for us - child-friendly! A few things for the little one to play with and a few rounds of Mau Mau with the family while the food was being prepared. As for the food itself: super delicious! Definitely as described, it tastes like grandma's delicious food which you can never get cooked as well :D! All in one: I can recommend it to everyone!

Very nice little garden restaurant. The food was super tasty and plentiful 😊. The two owners were very nice and friendly. My daughter thought the burger was great and recommended it to her sister-in-law the very next day. We will definitely come back with the family. 👍

An absolute must, you will be warmly welcomed here and treated as if you were part of the family. The food is prepared with love and you can exchange jokes. Always my pleasure!

Actually, one word is enough: PERFECT! But still a few more words. It was our first time in the Pappelschänke - but definitely not the last time. Because everything was just as you would expect from a traditional restaurant or pub. Incredibly nice staff, incredibly good tasting and freshly prepared food at absolutely fair prices. 👍👍👍

We were also here for the “Martinsgansessen” meal, everyone really enjoyed it. A special thank you: although there was no burger 🍔 on the menu, our grandson got one (he doesn't know what he's missing out on if he doesn't eat a goose), found it so tasty that he wants to go to the Pappelschänke with us more often!!!

Very nice, well-run garden pub. Here you can get good home-style food that is freshly prepared. Even the salad dressing, which is made fresh according to the house recipe, tastes absolutely great. Very clean, absolutely top ambience, very good fresh cuisine, everything freshly prepared and absolutely top. The kitchen deserves great praise. Great host and landlady. The atmosphere is extremely good and clean. Outside under a covered grape arbor, inside super cute, small but you have the feeling you're coming to mothers. This restaurant has an absolute unique selling point in Leipzig that must be preserved. All in all, highly recommended!!! Many thanks to the host Holger. We will come back any time we are in Leipzig. Be sure to keep it up. Anyone who is ever in Leipzig Lindenthal should stop by for a very good schnitzel and a nice beer. Keep it up!!!

We were there for the first time yesterday. After a bike ride with the kids and friends. I haven't seen anything so idyllic and loving in a long time. Super nice service and a great ambience. The children were able to move around freely and we were able to relax with delicious food. We'll be back!!!!! Thank you for such a lovely weekend trip!!!!

Great, idyllic garden restaurant. All is well with the world here. The service was friendly and accommodating. The owner always has a kind word and a funny saying on his lips. Our dogs were given water immediately. Our food came quickly and was very tasty. Everything homemade. Thank you, we would love to come back!

The selection of drinks is varied, and the food, although manageable, is absolutely delicious and lovingly prepared. The service is friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. A perfect place to spend a cozy evening. Absolutely recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Super nice service with a lot of humor. It's very cozy there, especially in summer outside under the vines. In addition to delicious, well-known food, there are always promotions with unusual food. I am absolutely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We celebrated our bachelor party here at the end of July. The operators of the Pappelschänke were always there to help and advise us and were very friendly and approachable at any time. All of this contributed a lot to making our celebration a success for us :)

Everything was great, otherwise I wouldn't have given 5 stars everywhere. Just try it out yourself. Speaking of which, you can also play a nice game of Skat with the innkeeper if he has time.

We had rented the hall and the preparation and support were very satisfactory. The hall can accommodate up to 80 people. We were around 90 people with children and adults. Partly inside, partly outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and we didn't miss anything. We took care of ourselves. We can recommend it and thank you for the smooth process. Used for an elementary school graduation ceremony

Very well maintained outdoor area. The Pappelschänke offers a lot for a great stay such as billiards, table football, etc. It's also easy to find because it's not in the middle of the garden club like most of them, but right in front of it, so even garden owners can't go there

EINE SEHR GEMÜTLICHE LOCATION!!!! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und haben bei jeden Anliegen eine passenden Ideen!!!! Am besten Vorbeikommen und selbst Überzeugen!!!

Für Feiern zu mieten. Es gibt Platz. Bus 90 hält fast davor. Parkplätze sind einige vorhanden.

Super location für private Feiern. Billiardtisch und Tischkicker sind perfekt für die Jugend;) Küche und Toiletten gleich im Gebäude und sauber. Danke
